Excellent burger joint. The meat is excellent, even the one for the kids' menu. The atmosphere is pleasant, both inside and out. They were quite quick to prepare what we requested. We'll definitely be back!!

For 35 Euros you get a Burger and a pan full of fries/milkshake + a Redbull but the taste is just ok, nothing special for that price, there are alot burgerplaces where you can eat way better burgers for less or the same price

The food was spot on. Great selection of burgers, sides, and shakes on offer at very good prices. Lunchtime deal meant a drink and side cost only slightly more than a burger on its own. The servers and cooks were great, played quite loud music that wouldn't be to everyone's taste (derogatory terms, explicit language)

A solid burger joint with a good selection and friendly service. The ambiance isn't entirely my cup of tea, but it's not bad at all, since aesthetics are in the eye of the beholder. I'd be happy to come back again.

By far the best burger I've ever eaten. A bit pricey, but justified these days.

We wanted to try Whtsbf again after a while because we heard they also offer a low-carb version of the burgers. They replace the bun with lettuce. What we got for our money was a joke. They came with two lettuce leaves. Never again for us.

Overall, it was unfortunately worse than expected. The burgers were quite good, but the cheese fries were nothing special. Combined with the high prices for a self-service restaurant and the long wait times when ordering, it's not really recommended.

The food itself is good, but the ordering process could be improved. You have to order directly at the cashier and pay immediately. However, when the place is busy, the whole process can take a while. It's annoying if you want to get another drink, so you have to queue up again. 😄

Large hall inside with various tables and chairs. Large terrace outside. You can eat during the day when in other restaurants the kitchen is closed and you can only buy drinks. They make delicious sweet potato fries

The food was delicious and the selection was really large, with something for vegans and vegetarians too. We particularly liked the many sauce options and the extensive dessert menu with various milkshakes. The outdoor area is beautifully designed, and the interior is cool and retro-styled. The food was brought quickly and directly to our tables, and the staff was consistently friendly. The prices are absolutely reasonable for Frankfurt standards, but still seem a bit high. The burger may not have been the best in all of Frankfurt, but it was definitely very good, and the overall experience was excellent. We'd be happy to come back.

Selim's ABC, Criss cross fries, lemonade. With the student discount, you can get this for €14.50. Open 11:30-18:00, not available on holidays. The price and taste were both excellent. If I hadn't gotten the student discount, I could have only had one burger, so I'm grateful. It's salty, but that's part of the fun of a burger.

We went there as a group, but unfortunately, I personally didn't enjoy it. The crispy fries made up for it somewhat. The burgers are very pink, not a particularly pleasant medium-rare.

Great burger restaurant in Frankfurt's financial center

Although the restaurant is in Frankfurt city center, it is placed in a very quiet area, where you can enjoy your food. The hamburger are really good. Plus you can take as many pickles as you want. Ketchup and Mayo are also free. The price is averaged, about 15€ per hamburger. It is cheaper if you go at lunch. Very recommended.

We were looking for a good burger joint, and what can I say? This burger joint isn't just good; it's perfect! Everything was perfect, from the lunch menu to the ambiance.

In the middle of Frankfurt's concrete isolation, this burger joint shines like a circus tent in a pedestrian zone. Inside, red bricks gleam, colorful pictures hang on the walls, and the wall display features busts of Churchill with a mohawk, Biggie Smalls in gold, and a hodgepodge of other things that are presumably meant to be profound. Unfortunately, the burger was a kind of dry disappointment in a bun. There were four of us; sometimes there was too much salad, sometimes too dry, and always somehow not entirely well thought out. The taste was somewhere between fast-food student fare and "as long as it's fancy." I had the barbecue burger, which certainly won't hurt anyone.

We enjoyed eating there. We were able to reserve a table for Saturday at 7:30 PM. We had already received confirmation by email. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the place was closed. At first, we thought we'd gone to the wrong place, but after checking several times, we found the right place. It's a shame, but maybe it'll work next time.

Definitely worth a visit for the delicious burgers and desserts. The truffle fries are incredibly delicious, but also steep at €19.

Very good burgers, even the vegan one is perfect. The fries are at least as good as the McDonald's... In the afternoon it is not crowded, the food arrives quickly. The lemonade also nice and daily offer is very affordable.

Interesting concept: you choose your food and drink preferences, order inside, and pay right away. Your order is brought to your table. Unfortunately, no one came to clear the table, which I found disappointing. I would have at least expected this level of service, not sitting in front of an empty plate the whole time. Reordering is probably not encouraged. The burger was large and tasted okay, nothing exceptional. I had a burger with avocado. Ketchup and mayo were running out of the burger. I saw the avocado, but unfortunately, I didn't taste it. The shakes look amazing and filling. We wanted to try one after dinner, but as I said, a cleared table would have been more encouraging. Why tip for lousy service?

Basically tasty and a good portion, but the patties contained cumin! You could definitely taste it and we found it very disturbing. Cumin doesn't belong in a beef party, especially!

We were only in Frankfurt for two days and ate here both days – it was so delicious! The burgers, sweet potato fries, and homemade lemonades are absolutely delicious. Even though it was busy at lunch today, it was quick, and the quality was just as top-notch as it was last night. Everything is clean, especially the restrooms – something you rarely see. The team is very friendly, and our waitress checked in again after a while to see if everything was okay/if we were satisfied. The photo wall with various portraits is also an eye-catcher :-)! The shop is centrally located and definitely worth a visit – we wish we had come more often!

What's Beef Frankfurt – A top destination for burger fans! The burgers are juicy and flavorful, the fries crispy and perfectly seasoned. The homemade lemonade is especially recommended – super refreshing! The lunch specials also offer excellent value for money. A definite recommendation for anyone craving really good fast food! Warning: It's really busy around lunchtime.

I happened to be there on a Saturday and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Being in an office area, I imagine it could be busier and less pleasant during the week, but still, a more than positive experience.

The terrace is very nice with big benches for big groups and two seat small table. Homemade lemonade was delicious. Burger buns are super soft and tasty but patties could have been juicier. Cheese fries were cold when it was served cheese was dried out. Overall it was not bad.

I came here alone on a business trip to Frankfurt, and it happened to be my birthday today. I was just looking for a quick bite, but this place gave me such a heartwarming surprise! I found out they offer a free birthday shake, and not only was it huge and delicious, but all the staff came over to clap and sing happy birthday for me. I didn’t expect to feel so celebrated being far from home. It truly made my day! I ordered The Mighty Spicy burger and it was absolutely tasty, juicy, flavorful, and perfectly spicy. The staff were super friendly, and the whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this place, not just for the food, but for the amazing people who made my birthday so special. Good customer service. Nice looking restaurant. Good presentation of food. Beef patty was nothing special, but the BEEF bacon was fantastic. I got the lunch special which made it a little more reasonable but I felt like it was a little bit overpriced for a simple burger spot. Lemonade was fantastic, I drank it so fast! Bit confusing to find.

I ordered the Captain Future vegan burger, French fries, and a lemonade. Everything was really good. I didn't know what to expect from the plant-based steak, but I was pleasantly surprised by the good flavor and texture. However, the "burger" does fall apart as soon as you pick it up. I would recommend this place for other vegetarians craving fast food.

Stopped by during a long layover in Frankfurt and was genuinely impressed by the burgers — which says a lot coming from someone based in Texas. The patties were juicy, made with fresh ingredients, and full of flavor. We also tried both the chili fries and cheese fries, and while both were excellent, the portions were quite large — one would’ve been plenty to share. The fresh lemonade was a standout, even better than most you’d find in the U.S. While it’s not your typical German food stop, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in town.

The taste of shawarma is very bad

I can't say anything about the food because I simply wasn't served. The waiter (a Black man in his 30s) mostly stood around looking bored or tapped away on his phone. When he walked past me for the fourth time without even greeting me or speaking to me, I left without saying a word...

Absolutely fascinated with this place!! Wonderful atmosphere, Friendly staff, phenomenal food! My family and I were looking for a new place to eat and we're so glad we found this place. The vibe and overall atmosphere is fun and unique. I would also like to add that they surprisingly had the most tender and juicy burger I've ever had! I would definitely say they have the best burgers in Germany! 10/10 would dine again!

One of my favorite burger joints in Frankfurt. I love going here for a "regular" burger because the meat is cooked to perfection. The "Juicy Lucy" (patty with cheddar filling) is my absolute favorite. The buns are homemade and always fresh. They also have great monthly specials. I wish they'd offer the croissant bun again. I love the fries with homemade guacamole, tomatoes, and sour cream. Great shake creations, for example, with cheesecake or a Nutella doughnut on top. Very nice interior.

The food is excellent. The burgers have great roasted flavors, the bun is really tasty, not like at many other burger joints. The toppings are fresh. The concept, however, isn't really complete. 2 burgers, 1 fries, a long drink, and a Coke for €60. If everything were as advertised, it would be fine. But you won't find fine dining here. I even find the service questionable; a 10-minute wait for a long drink is also questionable, and when it comes without ice, I don't understand it. You're supposed to clear the dishes yourself. The staff wipes everything off the table and onto the floor. Optimization is good, but I don't think profiting in favor of service is really fair.

American style atmosphere. Burgers are not cheap and a bit small. But the bun was delicious and Patty had a nice grilled aroma. The highlights are the shakes in different flavors (be careful of calorie bombs and sugar shock) Edit: second visit, this time I ordered the Smash Supreme, I couldn't classify the taste, it was too spicy for me, I couldn't really taste the meat.

We were looking for a good burger restaurant, and we more than found what we were looking for at What's Beef. We were impressed not only by the meat burgers, but also by the veggie and vegan burgers. The vegan burger looked and tasted so similar to a regular burger that we were briefly confused as to whether it was even vegan. The service, which was very polite and courteous, deserves praise.

Today was the first time I went to Whats Beef. I heard the boss on a Tim Mälzer podcast a while ago. The place is somewhat hidden away in Frankfurt. Max Strohe was supposed to be there today with his Butter Burger. Unfortunately he had to cancel, but we still had the burger; it was delicious. The fries with truffle mayo weren't really my thing. The lemon soda wasn't really my thing either. The staff were super friendly; the boss from Düsseldorf and the boss from Frankfurt were both there. They did everything they could to make the burger perfect, even without Max. I'll be back to try the house burgers.

Food is OK, but don't expect anything special. Service is OK. We didn't like the waiting queue for the order, as we waited approximately 10 minutes to be able to order the food. Tables and chairs were not cleaned. So watch out before you sit.
