Don't be fooled by the 3 stars for the ambiance! We highly recommend this restaurant! Excellent value for money, the owner is amazing—simply fantastic. We had tomato soup and herring with fried potatoes—amazing! There was also a large selection of schnitzel, which looked delicious. So, folks, if you're ever in the area, just go there!

What a great host. Thanks for the lovely introduction. The schnitzel was amazing, the portion was excellent, and the beer was cold and on tap. What more could you want? We'll be back!

Good, home-style pub in Ratingen West! A friendly host and a great team. A great place for an after-work beer. Large and delicious portions! 👍 And, they serve ABB Mostert! "The" Düsseldorf mustard with the anchor! What do you want?! What more could you want? We'd love to come back!

Delicious schnitzels for a good price. 2025/05: after we found this place, we come back every time we fly from Düsseldorf, it has become part of our holiday because of the delicious food, the friendly atmosphere and the friendly manager. A wonderful start and end to our holidays for us.

We had a delicious meal. Friendly assistance/help!! It is a kind of brasserie, at the front you can have a beer and at the back there is a small seating area to eat. We slept in a hotel 5 minutes away and it was fine, plenty of parking. In short; tasty and affordable food!!

We wouldn't have guessed that. The area is not very inviting and there is this pearl. The best schnitzels in a long time. Juicy, delicious...great! The host was incredibly warm and accommodating. Thank you for the lovely stay. Highly recommended.

What can I say, everything is just right here. Here we have a rustic, authentic restaurant with extremely friendly service, excellent schnitzels and everything at a really reasonable price. The chef knows his craft!!! We were there today for the first time after visiting a trade fair and unfortunately we don't come from the surrounding area. Otherwise I would be a regular customer here. But from now on we will come back every year. This tastes so good!!!

The innkeeper is simply great! The furnishings are simple, but as far as we could tell they were clean and well maintained. This is mainly about schnitzel in various variations. Otherwise little choice. But everything was done well.

A shortcut took our bike tour past this Westpoint restaurant. Luckily, we were able to enjoy excellent cuisine on this occasion and get to know this nice guy Roy as our host. Came by by chance. Luckily, after the innkeeper spoke to us, we stopped in and didn't regret it. That's all you can say about eating like a mother's. What a portion! The schnitzel is super tender and the fried potatoes are on point. The price is unbeatable. All you can say to the landlord is keep it up and stay as you are. An original. Great

A good shop and more than just a pub. The operator is super friendly It is bright and has a separate area. The food tastes good and not expensive.

Unfortunately, in the last few weeks we tried to eat there 4 times, either it was closed even though this location should have been open, or there was no more food at 8 p.m., or sorry, we've already sold a few portions and there's nothing left. If there is something, it has always been good so far, but due to the above-mentioned facts I will no longer go to this restaurant. I would say...that's just the way it is, if you don't want it, you already have it

Excellent food at reasonable prices in a rustic atmosphere. Meat dishes are still hand-made here. You won't find any shaped meat in this restaurant! I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Durch Zufall entdeckt und super freundlich aufgenommen worden. Die Schnitzel sind hervorragend und reichlich. Probiert das Schnitzel Düsseldorf. Mit Senf einfach sensationell. Kundschaft und Personal einfach prima. Weiter so und bis zum nächsten Mal. Adresse ist gespeichert.

Super leckere Schnitzel, sehr reichlich und vor allen Dingen alles frisch, auch der Salat....nix aus der Dose.

Bei Roy kann man wirklich ausgezeichnet Essen und Trinken. Die Portionen und der Geschmack sind prima. Das Ambiente sehr schön. Der Wirt sehr zuvorkommend, nett und freundlich. Auch Kegeln ist dort möglich. Ich kehre dort gerne ein und geniesse die Zeit dort. Absolut zu empfehlen. Ich vergebe gerne die volle Punktzahl von fünf Sternen ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ und komme gerne wieder.

Haben ohne Reservierung Abends,kurz vor Ladenschluss, noch schnell einen Tisch bekommen und dazu ein richtig leckeres Essen. Volker,ein richtiger Ur Wirt mit tollen Informationen über die Stadt hat uns sehr gut und satt durch den Abend gebracht. Wir kommen wieder👍

Auf der Karte stehen außer zehn verschiedenen Arten von Schnitzel, vier verschiedene Rumpsteak-Gerichte. Das war’s. Aber sehr netter Service machen das voll wett. Ich würde es mehr Gaststätte als Restaurant nennen.

Wir sind für eine Nacht hier, da wie morgen weiter in den Urlaub fliegen. Wir fühlten uns sofort herzlich Willkommen und nett aufgenommen, das Essen (2 Schnitzelgerichte) war sehr gut, der Preis absolut angenehm. Als wir erzählten, dass wir Bierdeckel sammeln, bekamen wir einen Bierdeckel in Übergröße, total herzlich. Wir werden bei nächster Gelegenheit wieder kommen !!!

Super schöner Laden. Der Gastwirt ist Super nett. Gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen.

Ist halt eine Kneipe, wo das Schnitzel einen guten Preis hat, ist zwar alles mit Fertigsoucen aber für den Preis ist das Essen Ok. Bemängel muss man den Preis für eine Flasche Wasser in Plastik und dann Schlossquelle 7,50 .- verlangen ist schon Wucher.

Sehr sympathischer wirt und das Essen schmeckt echt gut vor allem für den Preis.
