The food was great. We'd love to come back.

The food was delicious, as always. The service with the drinks was very poor. We had to wait a very long time for drinks and had to ask several times. I also find the prices for a glass of wine very high.

I ate and drank wine in the "Romantic Vineyard." A great location, a truly beautiful garden. There's a trampoline and a playground with a slide for children. Chickens roam the garden in the light, and bats fly in the dark. Super nice and cozy. Oh yes—the food and wine were delicious, too.

Nice landlords, very friendly, excellent service. The garden, where meals are also served, is beautiful. The fruit harvested there is reused in the hotel kitchen, which is very good. We were completely satisfied and can recommend the house.

We stumbled upon this beautiful garden by chance and enjoyed a refreshing drink. The service was very friendly, and we felt very comfortable in this cozy spot. We will definitely return.

We stayed there with friends from August 12th to 16th, 2025. The food was excellent, the breakfast and the good wines were a delight, and the garden with a barbecue was very cozy. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. We're here for the second time after 10 years and were very satisfied again. I highly recommend the hotel. This is a real insider tip! This family-run hotel and restaurant is very popular with guests – be sure to reserve a table for dinner well in advance. The atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing, especially in the beautiful garden, which invites you to linger. The food and service are excellent. I would come back anytime.

An establishment that does honor to the German hotel industry. Welcome, cleanliness, kindness of the staff and management. A special mention for the cuisine which is tasty and works with fresh products. To recommend without hesitation.

I only rate the restaurant. So neither a “small thaler” nor incredibly good food. Quite the opposite. Bad service from some arrogant staff. Kitchen is super-poorly timed. Can't manage to sensibly coordinate the food for a table. Decoration of the food is definitely good. Taste rather mediocre. Even fried potatoes probably come from the convenience bag. A kitchen and a restaurant for old people. Not again.

Home-style and at the same time upscale cuisine with a dedication to food and finesse in serving that is rare today. That for a small thaler, fantastic value for money! Plus a family atmosphere, no potential for improvement!

Dive into another holiday world... I came across the “Weinhotel Schneider” by chance a few years ago when I was looking for a stopover between other holiday destinations. Back then, I noticed that the operators took a two-week break in the middle of the holiday season... very unusual. Intrigued, I even postponed my vacation and didn't regret it. The two sisters run the architecturally unusual house from the 1980s with the support of mother and children in a very personal and special way that completely sets itself apart from the usual “hotel mainstream”. The nine cozy rooms can practically only be booked by direct telephone contact; the weekends are usually fully booked months in advance. The house has a very special, pleasant atmosphere. The associated restaurant, which is also run by the owners, is great. From game specialties to fish dishes and vegetarian offerings, you can find almost everything your palate could desire. During the summer months, the food is served in our own garden (right next to the Nahe) - whose fruits (from nasturtiums to herbs and tomatoes) give the food a special touch. The latter also applies to the enjoyable breakfast – away from competitive and “tasteless” buffets. Fruit, berries and vegetables in particular are a treat that you shouldn't miss. Well: If you prefer individual accommodation with tasty regional cuisine instead of wellness and pure luxury, the “Weinhotel Schneider” is the right place for you.

The breakfast and dinner is grenade.

Went there for dinner last night. Despite the not so pleasant weather, the service was only served in the garden. No space was offered in the dining room. When I said that it looked like it would rain, the young woman at reception said that no rain was to be expected. Ok, we went into the garden and sat down there. The first thing that happened to me there was that my chair sank into the soft ground. It took a good three quarters of an hour from the time I ordered to the delivery of the food. The food was hot even though it came from the restaurant opposite. Well, what had to happen happened because around 8 p.m. it started to rain lightly, we paid and went home. All in all it was an unpleasant evening due to the weather. Conclusion. Garden restaurant in the evening is not particularly recommended depending on the weather. The waiting time from ordering to serving the food could be a little shorter. The food was also served in stages (salad, meat and last but not least the fried potatoes) Price performance was appropriate. The staff was very friendly. For me 3 🌟/5

Everyone in the Schneider family is really super friendly, every wish is fulfilled immediately and we felt very, very comfortable over the three days...The food in the garden is sensational, the ambience and preparation of the food is top notch... We're coming again !!!!!

Hotel furnished with a lot of love with a good and tasty breakfast.

We were in the beautiful garden on the Nahe without a reservation. A great service. Two chairs were quickly placed at a table for us. Wines and grilled food were very good. Pan roast and venison bratwurst. Seems very popular with the locals. If you make a reservation, you can also get food from the restaurant. Looked good. A year later we were in the restaurant three times. It was easy 👍. Great, fresh ingredients. Lots of regional cuisine.

We visited the restaurant yesterday: Great atmosphere..stylish ambience..incredibly delicious food, lovingly prepared and designed...large selection of wines and best of all: incredibly friendly and very competent service staff!!

Wir waren Gäste im Restaurant, und das ist wirklich ein Besuch wert. Ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben einen so genialen Beilagensalat gegessen wie hier. Und auch das Rumpsteak war ganz ausgezeichnet, und auf den Punkt gegrillt. Und der Service war mehr als perfekt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder :-) Sehr großes Lob an dieses tolle Restaurant :-)

Ich wollte im Restaurant des Hotels eigentlich essen gehen. Ein Schild vor dem Hotel beworb des Weingarten. Im Hotel sagte man mir, er wäre genau gegenüber auf der anderen Straßenseite. Dort nicht einsehbar über einen Gartenweg befand sich ein wirklich romantischer gemütlicher Garten. Es gibt Speisen vom Grill, aber auch aus der Restaurantküche. Und beides richtig lecker. Bei einem guten Glas Wein und dem flotten Service kann man hier den Tag wirklich schön ausklingen lassen...

Sehr gemütliches und ruhiges Hotel ganz in der Nähe der Altstadt von Ebernburg gelegen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das familiäre Ambiente und das hervorragende Restaurant.

Schon seit vielen Jahren gehört das Weinhotel Schneider zu unserem Lieblingsrestaurant. Wir fühlen uns dort immer wie zu Hause.

Schöner "Weingarten" Und sehr leckeres Essen.

Die Website-Fotos versprechen mehr als man im konkreten Fall bekommt: Uns wurde (Monate nach Buchung) bei der Anreise ein sehr dunkles Zimmer zugewiesen, ohne Balkon. Die Kommunikation war bemerkenswert unpersönlich und unfreundlich, Motto „Friss-oder-stirb“. So haben wir uns für ein anderes Hotel entschieden. Empfehlung: Unbedingt vorher klären, welches Zimmer bestätigt wird.

Außerordentlich gutes Essen. Fleisch und Zutaten frisch und aus der Region. Mit Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Das Dessert ist immer etwas Besonderes. Preis/Leistung stimmt. Lockere, gemütliche Atmosphäre. Einfach eine runde Sache. Zu den Schneider's fahren wir immer gern.

Faire Preise, gemütliches Ambiente und sehr zuvorkommende, freundlicher Service. Reservierung empfehlenswert.

Wir kommen Seite ueber 20 Jahre zu Familie Schneider und es ist immer ein Vergnuegen! Das essen ist frisch und régional, sowie toll angerichtet. Der Nachtisch ist ein absolutes Muss ! Im sommer wird im Garten serviert, man fuehlt sich echt wohl!

Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen. So gut habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gegessen.

An diesem Hotel ist so ziemlich alles außergewöhnlich schön.Das Zimmer sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Betten gut und gemütlich. Bad modern und hell und freundlich. Das Restaurant auch liebevoll ausgestattet mit Einblick auf Familie und Tradition. Das Klima und der Service ist sehr freundlich, familiär und tut einfach nur gut. Das Abendessen war außerordentlich lecker. So einen schmackhaften Salat habe ich noch nie vorher gegessen. Unser Frühstück am nächsten Morgen eine Augenweide und ein Schaus. So so super lecker. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder in dieses außergewöhnlich freundlich geführte Hotel.

Wir waren jetzt innerhalb von zwei Monaten schon drei Mal zum Abendessen hier. Die familiäre Atmosphäre, die saisonale Küche mit regionalen Produkten, deren Herkunft explizit in der Karte angegeben wird und die exzellenten Weine sind einfach immer wieder einen Besuch wert!

Wir waren heute das zweite Mal hier und wieder wurden unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Der Service war top (Hans, wohl der Junior des Hauses, hat uns bedient). Das Essen war hervorragend: Salat der Saison mit Ziegenkäse bzw. Salat mit gebratener Pute und frischen Champignons. Die Salate waren ganz frisch und gut angemacht, der Ziegenkäse genau auf den Punkt sowie auch die Pute. Den Nachtisch (steht nicht auf der Karte, weil ständig wechselnd) können wir ebenso nur empfehlen. Die große Weinauswahl für jeden Geschmack unterstreicht diesen Gesamteindruck.

Sehr nettes Hotel, mit einem sehr guten Restaurant, man sollte sich Plätze im Restaurant reservieren. Zimmer sind sauber mit bequemen Betten, nicht ganz so groß aber vollkommen ausreichend.

Das Essen war wirklich perfekt, die Bedienungen sehr zuvorkommend, immer mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht unterwegs. Sehr kinderfreundlich. Preise absolut in Ordnung und eine schöne Auswahl an regionalen Weinen. Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen

Erstklassige Küche !!!!!Es wird von Mama und zwei Töchtern geführt und ich muss sagen das ich schon so viele Restaurants und Hotels gesehen und gegessen habe aber noch nie , nie ,nie solch ein leckeres tolles Essen gegessen habe ,das hat wirklich !!! mindestens 2 Michelin Sterne verdient hat ,vielleicht kann man bitte ,die diese Sterne vergeben ,bitte dort mal vorbei schauen !!!! Ein absolutes Muß in Ebernburg !!!!

Drei Übernachtungen in diesem sehr liebevoll geführten kleinen Familienhotel...Es war einfach nur schön.Gute Lage an der Nahe in Ebernburg.Zimmer gemütlich eingerichtet,die Dusche ebenerdig, alles funktionierte perfekt.Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen reichhaltig und immer etwas anders angerichtet.Es gab jeden Morgen auch frisches Obst, Gemüse,Eier, einen Yoghurt mit frischen Früchten oder hausgemachtes Apfelmus.Auch die Gelees und Konfitüren waren hausgemacht.Das Essen abends im dazugehörigen Restaurant wird von den beiden sehr, sehr gastfreundlichen Inhaberinnen selbst gekocht.Alles,was wir hatten,war superlecker und bildschön angerichtet.Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden etwas.Zusätzlich gibt es saisonale Angebote,die man auf einer Tafel nachlesen kann.Es gibt eine sehr gute Weinauswahl mit Weinen aus der Umgebung.Alles entspricht für uns einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.Nett ist auch,dass die Mutter der beiden Inhaberinnen immer Zeit für einen Plausch mit den Gästen hat.Auch die jungen Leute,die im Restaurant bedient haben,waren aufmerksam und charmant.Wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt.
