Negative reviews apparently get deleted. We had a breakfast reservation. After waiting 30 minutes, we were told we couldn't get breakfast. There were only two tables occupied in the entire restaurant.

For the location, it's truly unbeatable value for money. The food was incredibly delicious; you can tell right away that everything is freshly prepared and no frozen goods are used. Highly recommended! The staff is also super friendly.

Very nicely decorated, fast and friendly service, and delicious food. The portions were a bit small for my taste, so the value for money was okay—not exactly cheap. Since everything tasted great, I still give it 5/5.

Crispy fried, smooth served. Homemade coleslaw. I was really hungry, and the "Mexican Burger Combo" calmed me down. Next time, I'll order it with double truffle mayo instead of cold hollandaise 😋

Super friendly staff 👍🏻 Drinks are rather weak. Glasses and cups were unfortunately not clean. The location right on the water with the evening sun is a plus. However, the high prices are more of a minus.

We were here for the first time today. A voucher brought us here. Two beef burgers with sweet potato fries for us parents, chicken nuggets for our daughter, and for dessert, a brownie each for us and a huge scoop of chocolate ice cream for our daughter. And, of course, drinks. The cappuccino and espresso were good, the sweet potato fries were definitely the best we've ever had, and the chocolate ice cream was excellent, presumably homemade. The chicken nuggets were also very tasty. We were a bit disappointed with the burgers; we had hoped for more. I usually eat EVERY burger with my hands, but that was impossible here. Simply because the bottom was completely soaked, and I almost broke the whole thing in my hand when I tried. I've never had anything like that before! The taste was good, but the overall package wasn't quite right, because it's not exactly cheap.

We were at the maritime museum and ended up at Wavecity for lunch. The waitress was extremely helpful with our language barrier. Her recommendation for lunch was perfect. We thought the prices were comparable to the places around it.

Four of us went here for burgers and paid around €100. The portion and the burger were a bit small. The burger was good, the wedges crispy and seasoned. The salad was also okay. We also had the 0.5 liter mango spritzer, which was also okay. All in all, not bad, but too expensive. We sat outside at a wobbly, squeaky wooden table. That bothered me because you couldn't lean on it or against it without it tipping over. The chairs were rattan, not very comfortable, but they served their purpose.

After a stroll through the Hafencity Alster, Wavecity is a very welcome break. A great atmosphere, a pleasant crowd, and delicious drinks.

Lunchtime and currywurst. The restaurant wasn't even half full. The service was completely unmotivated and uncoordinated. We placed our order at the cashier because no one was outside to attend to the new customers. The same thing happened with the bill. No one asked if we wanted anything else. The most important thing was the bros who needed to be greeted. Disappointing, especially because we received excellent service the first time.

The service was good, but a bit overwhelmed. A bit more systematic and things would run better. Otherwise, everything was great.

A small place close to the maritim museum with a very good food. The burger was great. The place is open on sundays and it's very important.

Well, the outdoor location right on the water is great, to begin with. Ordering and payment are done via barcode and smartphone. You have to like it, especially if you like to share the doneness of meat dishes. Anyway, that was just the beginning. The first caipirinha had some insects in the glass. That was promptly replaced. The second caipirinha had a lot of cane sugar (see photo). The food: The Asian chicken wings were very good and well seasoned. The regular burger and the Texas burger were, well, a bit small and pretty tasteless. No grilled flavor, hardly any salt, kind of bland. In any case, the price/performance ratio is out of proportion. But as I said, the location is nice 😉

We only had a drink today. The service wasn't good. You could tell the waitress wasn't having fun with her job. When we paid, she just put down the receipt without saying anything. It's a shame, the location is great, but we won't be back.

I opted for the Texas Burger menu, which was delicious. The staff was friendly as well.

It was okay - the bathroom though 😖 We wanted to go out for something to eat with the kids (3 & 6) and opted for burgers. The burger menu was limited, but the DIY burger certainly covered everything you could want. The burgers were quite small for the hefty price, but they tasted good. The kids' menus were also quite expensive, especially since the nuggets weren't homemade. I'm not sure about the fries. And that was about all there was to it. Either way, if you look at the menu beforehand, you know what you're getting into price-wise. You just have to be aware that you're not getting anything extraordinary. Value for money varies a bit. The service was very nice, so you can't complain. But in the end, the food has to be convincing, and that wasn't the case with us. The restrooms urgently need to be checked more often and, if possible, renovated. That definitely lost a star.

Too expensive for what it is, the burgers had an oversized and very thin patty which had very little flavor, and it was hard to eat with the hands. Fries were good.

Absolutely the best veggie burger we've ever eaten. Just try it, you can't go wrong.

I recommend visiting a wonderful establishment with an exceptionally cozy and warm atmosphere inside, and if you are a fan of romance, then you should take a place on the street overlooking the water, where you can watch ships sailing nearby and hear the singing of various types of birds. As for food, you should definitely choose one of the many delicious burgers, and on hot days you can enjoy various soft drinks. The average bill is 20€ and it's worth it

Cool atmosphere right on the water.

Not so great. But I only had the €5 cheeseburger on the lunch special. For a better experience, you'd probably have to get the more expensive burgers. The €5 one was a disaster. Tasted like McDonald's.

It would be nice if you could choose the type of bun, and not be told that the burger had to be ordered with that bun. I thought the iced tea for €7 would be 0.5 liters, but unfortunately, it was only a small glass!!! And it tasted like powder dissolved in water. I personally found the burger too greasy. The atmosphere was quite nice, like a beach vacation. The bill was incorrect, but unfortunately, I didn't notice it until the next day! This shouldn't happen.

Very good food and great presentation. The burgers were really tasty. Large outdoor area, but rather cramped and small inside. The Hawaiian/surfer theme is authentically implemented inside the restaurant, but you hardly notice it outside. The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating. A lovely visit!

Wavecity has a lovely, sunny outdoor area by the water. They also have parasols. The inside is also fine. The restrooms are small but wheelchair accessible. We received very friendly and courteous service. Great, thank you very much! I really enjoyed it.

Great location, free parking in the area (street) on weekends. Located right on the water, with indoor seating (great atmosphere, enjoyable playlist, surfer style) or on the terrace, not far from the International Maritime Museum. A delicious and appealing breakfast (from 10 a.m.), easy reservation via the website. Super friendly service. Large portions, good value for money.

After an excursion, we were spontaneously looking for a restaurant to end the afternoon with good food and beautiful weather. We chose this location because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, we could only partially share the positive impressions from the reviews. We were lucky to get a seat outside – even if the view was rather unspectacular. The interior of the restaurant didn't appeal to us personally, but that's a matter of taste, of course. (Too messy, etc.) The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was overall okay – but we found the prices a bit too high for the quality offered. One small extra detail: The waiters' shirts printed with the words "Tip me well – Porsche is waiting…" – this may have been meant as a joke, but without exceptional service or outstanding food, it unfortunately seems rather out of place. In summary, therefore, only 3 out of 5 stars – there's definitely room for improvement.

Solid food in a beautiful location – with room for improvement The food was okay - freshly prepared, but the taste wasn't great. If you want to eat simple and solid food, you'll definitely get your fill here, but you shouldn't expect culinary highlights. The ambience right on the water is really nice and invites you to linger. The service, on the other hand, still had room for improvement - rather inattentive and not very cordial. A real negative point are the sanitary facilities: These were in a condition that unfortunately didn't do justice to the overall picture - they were simply subterranean.

Good burgers and fries. Ordering possible via QR code, payment via credit cards and Apple and Google Pay. Service can be improved, drinks came after the meal and something was missing from the meal.

You can sit outside very nicely, the food is okay, unfortunately the drinks are absolutely overpriced. €3.50 for a 0.2l cola is simply excessive. Too bad.

Great location and super nice service. We were served quickly and ate very satisfied. The potato wedges are highly recommended and so is the homemade lemonade. The only point of criticism is that the chili cheese fries were still hot/spicy enough for me.
