An excellent atmosphere for lovers of glitz, glamour, and luxury. Imagine if Wes Anderson were going through a depression while filming The Grand Budapest Hotel. The staff is so sweet they reach the uncanny valley. It looks unsettling. For several minutes, they tried to explain that I should reserve a table next time, even though I repeatedly explained that I was a one-day tourist. We had coffee. The plant-based milk in the cappuccino was very good. Unfortunately, the Americano was disappointing, just a step below Starbucks, which means it was bad. We ordered an apricot dessert. The tartness in the dessert was really nice. But everything else tasted more like over-sweetened baby food. I won't comment on the price. We are in a capitalist world where the free market determines prices on its own. Will I come back a second time? I don’t know. Maybe for tea. But I wouldn’t want to.

This is a stunning room to sit and take in a light bite or drink in the Fairmont hotel. We had a pot of tea and hot chocolate, which were served with a selection of delicious small biscuits and pastries. The room is decorated with rich burgundy colours and classical wooden walls and carvings. Service was very efficient.

Als ständiger Gast in der Wohnhalle wollte ich mit Freunden den Queen Victoria Afternoon Tea ausprobieren. Das ganze Ambiente und der Afternoon Tea als solcher waren natürlich toll. Allerdings finde ich es bemerkenswert, dass das Haus mit dem sehr guten Ruf seitens des Services eine halbe Stunde benötigt, um unsere Bestellung (die vorher klar war, Afternoon Tea!) aufzunehmen und eine weitere halbe Stunde eine dreistöckige Etage mit vorgefertigtem Essen zu bringen. An der Anzahl des Servicepersonals lag es nicht. in Kenntnis der sonst üblichen Umstände sehe ich das als Ausrutscher.

We were a group of 6. Was very surprised by damaged dishes we got on our table: broken tea cups, champagne glasses, even the stand to serve sandwiches and sweets was broken and moving on our table. I would imagine in such a location everything has to be to perfection and brocken cups or glasses should not be served for guests. Service - we constantly had to look and wait for someone to take the order, refill our glasses or even pay the bill. Food: none of afternoon tea menu choices made an impression that would justify the price. Would not recommend.

Basically nice atmosphere. I was there and ordered an afternoon tea set (80 euros per person). The service does not meet my expectations for the price. For a five star hotel, I'm actually hoping for a nice welcome like something out of a fairy tale. It was a Starbucks Plus experience. Anyone who has ever been to a 5-star hotel in Asia will notice the difference. I also had to wait 40 minutes for the floor. The taste was good, some things were even very good (scone and cream for example). Everything should have been ready already, I had ordered beforehand. The farewell to the management (?) of the residential hall was just a “nod”. Where is the friendly and respectful: “It was nice that you were with us, we hope you enjoyed it, please honor us again soon”. About 300 euros for two hours - so you could have expected faster and friendlier service.

I’m really upset with this place. We ordered Victoria Team in the afternoon. This amount of foods plus free flow of tea! costs us for 2 person euro 224 ! What was the tea from? Gold??? You have to be careful here with the combi menus! It is only mentioned the price but not mentioned for how many person .. The ambience are nice though and the quality of the snacks were also good. but it’s not worthy to pay that much for 🫖 and food with a glass of champagne.

Der Ort ist beeindruckend, die Qualität der Teetime ebenfalls. Dahinter zurück fällt der Service und die zum Teil wenig ausgeprägte Kundenorientierung des Personals. Damit passt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht

Ein entspannter Nachmittag, wir wurden inmitten einer wunderschönen Weihnachtsdekoration verwöhnt und fühlten uns sehr wohl. Kleiner Kritikpunkt: Zur TeaTime sollten Kandis oder loser Zucker angeboten werden. Kleine abgepackte Zuckertütchen passten zu diesen wunderschön eingedeckten Tisch mit edlem Porzellan und Silberbesteck leider nicht. Der Slot, bis die nächsten Gäste kamen, war auch eindeutig zu kurz, zumindest für uns. Dennoch ein traumhafter Nachmittag!

Unser Aufenthalt in der Wohnhalle war vom ersten bis zum letzten Moment ein voller Erfolg. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, das Team wirkte eingespielt und der Service ist auf einen sehr hohem Niveau. Unsere Erwartungen wurden voll erfüllt und wir hatten einen wundervollen Nachmittag beim Afternoon Tea. Wir kommen gerne wieder !!

great service and nice ambience

Perfekt für ein paar entspannte Stunden mit vielen kleinen oder auch größeren Köstlichkeiten. Der Afternoon Tea ist sehr zu empfehlen!

We each enjoyed an aperitif in this beautiful ambience. The room was already decorated for Easter and the piano player rounded off the feeling of well-being. The champagne was perfectly chilled and the cocktails were delicious.

Simply brilliant and highly recommended. A nice time to linger.

The Queen Victoria Afternoon Tea is almost like a ceremony - for and not everyday, something very special, simply wonderful☺️

Glatte 10 von 10 Punkten.Ich war mit meinem Freund zum Afternoon Tee und wir sind völlig begeistert.Das komplette Gesamtkonzept und Service auf höchstem Niveau stimmt überein.Man fühlt sich wohl,wahrgenommen und auf jeden Fall gut abgeholt. Blini mit Kaviar sind köstlich und was die Scones angeht - einfach zum verlieben.Allerdings geht unser größtes Kompliment an das Serviceteam-höchstcharmant und professionell.Besonderen Dank an Kirsten,Natascha und Milena 👍🏻
