The location deserves 5 stars, as does the snack bar. BUT… vacation with the Ludolfs. The place is very wild. The enclosure of the alpacas and ponies is very sad. The children's playground is neglected. Positive: Great swimming area right on the Elbe. Most pitches have water views. Very quiet at night.

Rarely have I experienced such an ugly and rancid place. The "sanitary facilities" consist of scrap toilet containers, a total of 2 for an entire campsite. The square itself is a narrow meadow along the Elbe in the middle of an industrial wasteland. But even for that there are long-term campers...

We were at the campsite over Pentecost, the first impression was, wow, it's beautiful here. Right on the water and nice and quiet, just right for us🤗 You are taken back to your youth, yes the campsite is a bit redro. But anyone who loves real camping will feel very comfortable there. We will definitely come back 🌞😁

I stayed overnight on May 9, 2024. I paid 14 euros + 1 shower for bike and tent. excellent site, family run, super helpful manager, from 8pm to 8am the campsite is also closed for bikes. positive experience.

A great feeling with a parking space right in front of the Elbe. We felt like we were at the sea. You can no longer see the industrial area when you are standing at the campsite! Simple sanitary facilities, but clean, you don't need anything more You have to like the charm of the operators. We were even invited on a boat tour on the Elbe in an old police boat. Bread service is great! We found the Henning family nice. We didn't notice any unfriendliness towards our dog. Daughter Henning's alpacas are cuddly. Mrs. Henning's homemade potato salad at the snack bar tastes wonderful. The surrounding area, e.g. Schönebeck, a cozy small town, is worth a visit and of course Magdeburg anyway! Even one star is still too much. I don't know where the good reviews come from. Worst service I have ever experienced. Also arrogant and unfriendly. Absolutely not recommended! Don't repair your boat engine here...

Honestly. No thanks. There are nicer places to camp. We visited friends and were there for 2 hours! We had to pay €8 for this. For what??? For sitting in front of the camper with our friends and telling something??? We didn't use anything there and we took our trash with us. 2 BOTTLES!!!!

Arrived, parking space was assigned. There was no instruction for the place, you had to explore everything on your own. Too bad, we know better. And the big hit was that there was no hot water for washing or, when you go to wash the dishes, you actually have to put in 50 cents for hot water to come. It doesn't work at all. The sanitary containers are missing a bit of love. So, we won't go there again. In my opinion it is not recommended!

Unfriendly reception. Dogs not welcome!! I've never experienced anything like that. Also very loud, scrap is being loaded directly opposite.

Dear Henning family, if we could, we would like to give you 10 stars. On our boat tour from Dresden to Hamburg, we moored in the harbor and found what we did not expect. A familiar, open-minded and warm team that not only fulfills every little wish of its guests, but also takes care of their concerns. So the next morning, after a 5-star breakfast with scrambled eggs and freshly brewed coffee, we left again with a replacement propeller organized by you and valuable driving advice for the next kilometers of the Elbe and a super warm feeling in our hearts. All we can say is absolutely thank you!! For anyone who would like to find out more about the location: there is a Womo/Wowa or tent pitches on the first line of the water, a snack bar that caters for small and large hunger and drink requests, a children's playground, a boat slip and, above all, a sandy beach on the Elbe . The sanitary facilities are well maintained and absolutely in order, the operator can't do anything about mosquitoes in the light. We'll definitely be back, next time we'll definitely be on wheels. :-)

Auf dem Weg zum Campingplatz meinte meine Frau: " Wo sind wir denn da gelandet?" Der Weg führt durch ein altes Industriegelände und alles schaut etwas verlassen und herunter gekommen aus. Angekommen am Campingplatz stellt man aber fest, dass die Lage 1. sehr ruhig, 2. die Plätze durchaus in Ordnung und 3. die meisten mit Blick auf die Elbe. Der Platzwart und seine Mann/Frauschaft sind echt freundlich, man bekommt auch noch sehr leckere Bratwürste (und mehr) und wirklich gutes Bier aus der örtlichen Brauerei bei der urigen Imbissbude. Frische Brötchen am Morgen gibt´s auch. Sanitäranlagen wie in einem Bootsclub üblich - einfach aber sauber. Wir waren auf der Durchreise für eine Nacht da. Kann mir vorstellen, dass ich hier einmal ein paar Nächte mehr verbringe. Allerdings habe ich dann mein Kanu dabei.

Schöner kleiner Platz direkt an der Elbe. Jedoch mitten im Industriegebiet. Hat aber seinen Charme. Sanitäranlagen einfach, aber sauber. Die Betreiberfamilie ist mit Herz bei der Sache. Selbst spät eintrudelnden Fahrradfahrern wird noch ein Platz angeboten. Zudem leckeres Essen am Imbiss, selbstgebautes Bier zu fairen Preisen. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt zu empfehlen! Wir kommen wieder!

Familiär geführter kleiner Campingplatz direkt an der Elbe gelegen. Sehr freundliche Betreiberfamilie, super lecker Essen und selbstgebrautes Bier. An 6 Tagen in der Woche Brötchenservice am Morgen. Kein Schickimicki-Platz! Überschaubar, einfache aber sehr saubere Sanitärräume. Ruhig, super zum Entspannen.
