Great restaurant, great staff, very good selection, we'll gladly come again.

A visit to our favorite restaurant unfortunately turned into a disaster. For several years, we've been coming to the restaurant regularly with our family and friends. Now the concept has changed – a catastrophe for us. À la carte options are no longer available. The only exceptions are pizza and burgers. It's been completely switched to a buffet. Unfortunately, the food suffers from being kept warm for hours; the quality is deteriorating. The loving care taken in plating the appetizers and main courses is gone. Drinks are still brought to the table by the staff. The staff is friendly and professional as always. However, they don't seem happy with the change. We are very disappointed, and we will no longer be visiting regularly.

Beautiful campsite, we love camping there. But since they switched to a buffet, eating there is no longer an option for us. We used to arrive in the afternoon and then go to the restaurant in the evening. Delicious food is something else entirely. We did try it once, but it didn't taste the same as before – cold, mushy… Typical chain restaurant… The service is still great, though. It's a shame it's come to this; we used to love eating there, but unfortunately, not anymore.

We wanted freshly cooked food from the kitchen as usual (steak, schnitzel, farmer's breakfast). Unfortunately, that wasn't possible! The buffet was disappointing. Hopefully, they'll reconsider this new concept.

Having to fetch the food from a different room and have it weighed each time has nothing to do with coziness.

We were there for the first time on November 18th, and unfortunately probably for the last time. The canteen food at my wife's work is significantly better than that buffet there.

I've been a regular at the Plötzky holiday park for years and always looked forward to my beloved Kaiserschnitzel. So I was all the more disappointed on my last visit to learn that the à la carte menu was gone and the restaurant had switched entirely to a buffet. Unfortunately, the new concept is a complete disappointment. The buffet was of poor quality during my visit; the food seemed carelessly arranged, and many items were already cold, even though it was still mealtime. Hardly anything remains of the former quality. However, I want to emphasize that the waiters continue to do a truly fantastic job. You can tell they aren't happy about the change themselves, but they remain friendly, attentive, and professional. Kudos to them – they can't be held responsible for the management's decision. Overall, it's a real shame how the restaurant has changed. As it is now, I can no longer recommend it.

Awesome restaurant with epic staff. Highly recommended!

A family paradise with top-notch cuisine! The "Am Kleinen Waldsee" restaurant is our new favorite! It was a fantastic experience for the whole family. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and wonderfully caters to all needs – even those of the little ones. The food is absolutely delicious and of high quality; both adults and children were thrilled with the selection. But the highlight is the fantastic children's area! It's lovingly designed and offers great activities. This gives us parents the opportunity to enjoy our meal in peace while the children are perfectly entertained. Highly recommended! Five out of five stars!

Unfortunately, I can't give more than 3 stars. We were invited to an 80th birthday celebration. When the invitation was extended, it was still a proper restaurant, with a menu and delicious food served at the table. So we were looking forward to a leisurely lunch. However, when we arrived and were seated, the new concept was explained to us. There is now only a drinks menu, from which you order from the waiter. You help yourself to the food from the buffet. The hostess was disappointed for the first time; she had never heard of this before. (My personal note: I think the guests, who had booked ages ago and assumed they were going to a "proper" restaurant, should have been informed in advance.) So we ordered our drinks and then gradually went to the buffet. The buffet looks very appealing at first glance; there is a wide selection, something for everyone, even children. But now comes the big "but." Almost everyone at the table had cold food; the containers simply couldn't keep it warm enough. This also affected the quality. Not everyone could choose from all the dishes because something was always running out and wasn't replenished. It's not an all-you-can-eat buffet. You take your plate to one of the two cash registers and have it weighed. In our case, we didn't have to pay immediately; everything was charged to the table. There were definitely long waits at the registers because either both registers were unmanned or they were busy processing orders for another table and waiting until all the guests at that table had had their food weighed. For me, a restaurant visit should be different: all the guests sit comfortably together, choose something from the menu, and have their hot, freshly prepared food served at their table. That wasn't the case here. People were constantly absent from the table, it was chaotic, partly because guests from neighboring tables were bustling about, and the food was just so-so. ... If the hostess had known about the concept beforehand (it's only been around for about two weeks), she would have canceled. I was in Plötzky myself in September of this year, and the food was absolutely wonderful. This only makes the disappointment greater. Unfortunately, the renovation was not a success.

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend the restaurant since they switched to a buffet. We used to love going there. The staff is still very friendly and dedicated, but the quality of the food has declined significantly. Many dishes were lukewarm to cold, and overall everything seemed rather carelessly prepared. It's a shame, because the à la carte food used to be much better.

This was my first time visiting for dinner. The switch to a buffet doesn't seem to have done the restaurant any favors. The food was unfortunately cold, and the potatoes, dumplings, and pasta were quite mushy. It seemed as if the food had been sitting out for a while. Paying the bill is cumbersome; you have to have your plate weighed every time. With a lot of other people there, you sometimes have to wait before you can return to your table. A shame. The restaurant and the food were significantly better à la carte.

The buffet food was unfortunately not hot enough and not very enjoyable. The restaurant rooms are too large and not very comfortable, as they aren't warm enough either. It's okay for families with children, but its size makes it too noisy. The staff is very friendly and polite and brings drinks and desserts quickly.

Great buffet, the kids go gambling. The adults can feast. Nice place.

Very friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere.

We have been here many times, in all seasons, spontaneously or with a reservation, in small groups with children, at Christmas, and for larger family celebrations like our golden wedding anniversary, and have always been very satisfied with the food, the service, and the value for money. Last night we had a family celebration with a larger number of people, for the first time using the new buffet concept. The restaurant was well-attended. All our guests were looking forward to the visit and were not disappointed. The wide range of food on offer, always of the usual high quality and freshly replenished, as well as the reasonable prices and the truly efficient and friendly service, make us happy to recommend this establishment. Family celebrations are also about ensuring the children are happy and not sitting around bored, so we can only recommend it. Our grandchildren's eyes light up when we hear, "We're celebrating at Ferienpark Plötzky!"

I was initially skeptical because we usually order à la carte and I like the Waldseeburger, but the buffet was really excellent. Furthermore, everything is wheelchair accessible, and there are plenty of opportunities for children to burn off energy both indoors and outdoors. It was a great experience for young and old alike.

For years, we've gone to the "Waldsee" restaurant for Sunday lunch and were always very satisfied. The food was delicious, with a great selection for both adults and children. The service was very attentive and friendly. Today we went again and were shocked to find that the restaurant has changed its concept and no longer offers à la carte dining, but rather a buffet. We were extremely disappointed. The food was cold, the vegetables, pasta, and potatoes were mushy, and the atmosphere was awful. We will be spending our Sundays at a different restaurant from now on. A real shame.

We had lunch there on October 31st, 2025. They're currently only offering a buffet, which is charged by weight (100g costs €2). We arrived shortly after noon, and the food was completely cold throughout. Sauces, meat, schnitzel, fries, even the fish sticks and soup were only lukewarm. Since we're familiar with the regular menu and have often had good meals there, this was incredibly disappointing.

We've eaten there quite a few times and have never been disappointed, but since October 31, 2025, the owner has introduced a new system. Food is now offered as a buffet for €2.60 per 100 grams, with soups and bowls priced according to portion size. The food was consistently cold and looked like it had been sitting there from the previous evening. Drinks have to be ordered and paid for separately at the bar. The buffet also requires an additional charge. In conclusion, we'll gladly return when the menu is back in operation. P.S. Complaints to the restaurant owner have been ignored.

We ate there today and were very disappointed to find out that they only offer a buffet now. (We used to eat there very often and were always satisfied!) The buffet was plentiful, but terrible! Unfortunately, that was the last time for us. :( Absolutely not recommended!

Fast, friendly service and delicious food

It was a fantastic birthday party. The food was plentiful and delicious. The service was also commendable. Requests were fulfilled quickly and without complications. We would be happy to come back.

We stayed at the campsite for a few days and had dinner here one evening with a larger group. It took a while for the food to arrive, even though there were only two other small groups there. Some items were served incorrectly or even forgotten, but that can happen. The staff, however, were very friendly and accommodating. As for the taste, we could all say it was okay, but not particularly good. The prices were far too high for what we got.

Extensive classic snack food – with some highlights. A large selection of ice cream and an extensive drinks menu. Overall, the food was nicely presented and served quickly. It tasted good, but the deep fryer and industrially breaded schnitzel from the refrigerator were a problem. The location is clean and functional. The restrooms, in particular, are surprisingly tasteful and clean. 5 stars for that! Otherwise, a fairly large, but occasionally quite comfortably furnished day-trip restaurant with plenty of options for all ages, both indoors and outdoors. Especially recommended with children.

It's very nice there, the food is fresh and delicious, the fried potatoes are a bit too greasy, and the drinks are a bit more expensive. The kids have plenty of opportunities to have fun here, and as parents, you can unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet.

It was quite okay. We waited less than 10 minutes for our food after ordering. This doesn't necessarily indicate that it was freshly prepared, but rather suggests that it was all ready-made and just quickly reheated. The remoulade for the aspic was most likely from a bucket; my husband found it barely edible. Our son had potato pancakes for the kids, which were dry and hard. I had the "Indian Butter Chicken," which was quite okay but, of course, far from Indian cuisine. Service was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was also perfect. It was very cozy and nicely decorated. Overall conclusion: completely appropriate and fine for a holiday and theme park. Not really recommended for gourmets and discerning eaters.

We went to your restaurant with a group of people. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was of very good quality but unfortunately completely disproportionate. We had the chicken butter curry twice, one with hardly any rice and the other with little meat and sauce, so the food was very dry. Furthermore, some of the food was unfortunately already cold when it was served at the table. The wait was a little long, but this was politely communicated when ordering. The Alster we ordered was watered down but not with lemonade. The ambience is very nice but since the entrance to the indoor playground leads through the restaurant, it was very hectic and loud.

The first evening, we sat there for half an hour before anyone even came... This evening, we ordered a pizza that looked so disgusting, with charred edges and several spots. It was important to me to go to a campsite with a restaurant that had regular opening hours. But this was definitely a flop and not recommended. We won't be back...

We spontaneously stopped by due to another restaurant closing. And we didn't regret it; we ate high-quality food here. A huge area with lots of play equipment for children.

We were here on Children's Day with our little one, and it was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good and served quickly. The atmosphere is okay, but beware: if you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the wrong place. It's geared toward children, and that's okay.

But what I experienced today was not acceptable, a "small" piece of cherry cake for €3.90 was of course returned! I can get a piece of cake somewhere else for that! This is simply outrageous!

Delicious. Interesting selection. The staff is friendly, but when there are a lot of guests, they have to wait a relatively long time for drinks, for example. Otherwise nothing to complain about.

We were at the restaurant last weekend around 7:00 p.m. The waiter ignored us for 15 minutes before bringing us 2 tickets for 4 people. These cards were heavily worn and very unsightly. The waiter was in a very grumpy mood. If it hadn't been so late, we would have gotten up and chosen another restaurant. A man at the next table asked for an ashtray, the waiter said he should get one himself from a table at the entrance. We ordered a Fanta and paid for it according to the invoice, but it wasn't a Fanta. We saved ourselves from complaining to the waiter. The food was okay, but the atmosphere and the waiter really put us off. Too bad for the campsite...

Have been here many times, but today was probably the last time. The waiter was drunk and could hardly speak so he slurred! Disaster!

You can only eat so badly in a restaurant where everyone has no idea. Selling a meal with a cost of goods sold of €3.50 for €19 is good, but people buy it and that's how this restaurant lives on. I won't come back again

As already mentioned, the service was perfectly fine. The food is definitely overpriced and worse than in a good snack bar.

Went here for lunch on Sunday. It was very busy and the staff was neither particularly quick nor overly friendly. That could be worked on. Prices mostly ok. But for a “frozen pizza” 13€ is not ok... . The relationship is missing. Otherwise clean and there are good play opportunities for children all around.

The service is attentive, but unfortunately the food is really bad and at snack level. To charge such prices for this lousy quality is a disgrace.

We always enjoyed spontaneously eating there. I celebrated my 50th birthday there. My guests and I were thrilled with the buffet. Unfortunately I don't have much enthusiasm left anymore... We spontaneously went there for dinner today. We only received one menu for 8 people, which was really very worn out. Only when we asked did we receive two more menus, which were in no better condition. We were very shocked by the now minimal offer and the prices of the dishes. A frozen pizza costs €13.90, pasta dishes cost around €20. Definitely too expensive... What made our mood sink even further was the COLD food. After informing the waiter that the food was cold, he took it into the kitchen and asked "whether it should be remade." After 5 minutes he came back with the same plate, warmed up in the microwave... There was no apology, not even when leaving the terrace... We won't eat there again.

Overall, our visit to the restaurant was very pleasant. Three of us ate there and we were all happy with the food. The food was tasty and the price-performance ratio was perfectly fine. The service was very nice and accommodating. The staff were always friendly and attentive, which made the visit particularly pleasant. A small disadvantage is that you unfortunately have to find your reserved space yourself. Better organization in this area could make the stay even better. Overall, the restaurant offers a good dining experience with excellent service that makes it worth visiting.

The food is delicious.... Ideal for us too, we can eat in a relaxed manner and the children can play. ;) Prices for food and drinks are slightly higher, but the children can move around free of charge in the large indoor playground and in the outdoor area. It's always a nice experience for the children as there are lots of opportunities to play, we enjoy coming here often!

I wouldn't have expected €14 for a ready-made frozen pizza here. The remaining price is simply too expensive for a campsite restaurant. If these are just finished products - no thanks.

We celebrated our daughter's youth consecration here because we were very excited about our son's youth consecration. It was very professional back then, the food was appropriate and we felt comfortable. The assistant restaurant manager also handled everything very well and the price was fair. That was exactly 2 years ago. This time all of that was lost with the first conversation, where we felt very strange afterwards. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time for an alternative or were too naïve. We knew what we wanted, but we tried to bring in something different and the increase in price was considerable. In the end we paid about twice as much per person as we had two years before. The buffet alone took in a whopping sum of almost €1000 and that was really excessive for the amount. There were also some things (cake and fish) that were not as previously agreed. I don't even want to start talking about the amount of cake given the price per person. Since we did not receive the offer by email as agreed (not even after telephone inquiries and confirmation), this was difficult to prove. We will definitely come by for a trip, but we will no longer consider the restaurant for celebrations. We were really excited at the time, but the two celebrations are worlds apart. Very unfortunate...

I ordered spiced meat as an appetizer, which was probably the biggest mistake I made. Not only did it smell bad, it also tasted inedible. And from then on it was very heavy in my stomach and I felt terribly sick just thinking about this appetizer. The schnitzel was very tasty, but unfortunately I couldn't eat much more afterwards because of the nausea and the aftertaste. I felt very sick the whole evening and the food was heavy on my stomach. It certainly wasn't fresh, it looked more like it had been thawed and warmed up and hoped it was still good. Overpriced for the quality of the food. I'll think twice about showing up there again. Schnitzel with mushrooms was very tasty, the drinks and dessert selection were very tempting. The service was very friendly, even if there were sometimes negative vibes.

Hi, after about 300 restaurant visits, this is actually one of the worst meals. Sorry - unfortunately that's the case! The burger patties were black and dry fried. The potatoes had been sticking out for a long time, which you can see from the yellowish skin. The pork steak was dry and leathery. The hollandaise sauce came from some ready-made bag. Not even the fries tasted like anything. For the price, this meal is not justified. Better drive on. For example in the Volkshaus Gommern.

Waren gegen 18.30 da, ich hatte ein Kaiserschnitzel und beim Lesen war natürlich klar, Diät ist anders 😉 Was dann kam war erschreckend.... Ich habe selten solch fetttriefende Bratkartoffeln gegessen und das TK Schnitzel war auch kein bisschen besser. Nun ist es später Vormittag und das Essen liegt nach wie vor wie ein Stein in meinem Bauch 🤨 Vor 4 Wochen hatte ich in einem österreichischen Schnitzelhaus ein ähnlich gemachtes Schnitzel. Die Portion war doppelt so groß, lag aber weniger im Magen... Wird ganz sicher nicht mein Stammlokal

Gulasch und Serviettenknödel bestellt, Pfanniknödel bekommen. Das Gulasch hat geschmeckt wie eine Knorr- oder Maggimischung. Getränke kamen nach 20min; die Bedienung war bemüht freundlich aber eben nur bemüht.

Die Bedienung ist top und immer höflich. Wir waren vor 1 Woche zu einem Geburtstagsessen dort. Voriges Jahr um die gleiche Zeit waren wir dort auch essen. Ich sag mal so....die Gerichte waren bedeutend besser und größer. Und das sagen alle. Natürlich hat das was mit der Preissteigerung zu tun das die Gerichte kleiner werden. Aber das es dann auch an der Würze fehlt? Am Schnitzel war kein Salz oder Pfeffer u d es war zäh, die Pilze dazu waren in einer Soße die nach nix schmeckte. Die Kroketten war salziger als alles zusammen. Also wir waren enttäuscht.

Tolles Restaurant... Dachten, es wäre nur ein Imbiss...doch dann überraschte uns die Karte sehr positiv... Das Essen war sehr lecker. Klare Empfehlung...👍

Für ein Campingplatz-Restaurent sehr gut. Trotz vieler Gäste ging es schnell und wir fanden alles lecker.

Sehr schön gelegen auf dem Campingplatz, für schlechtes Wetter großzügige Innenräume, inklusive großer Spielflächen für Kinder. Essen und Service waren richtig gut. Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal hier und kommen gerne wieder.

Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Wartezeit sehr kurz. Schnitzel Hamburger Art mit Bratkartoffeln kostete 15,50 Euro und war wirklich groß. Ein Burger mit Pommes für 17,90 Euro finde ich persönlich etwas zu teuer. Daher 1 Stern Abzug.

Naja was soll mann sagen erstmal im internet Speisekarte angeschaut okay Preise gehen hingefahren Speisekarte aufgeklappt und erschrocken 😨 unterscheidet sich gravierend von dem internet angezeigten,okay einmal hier also essen ,dann bestellt essen kam ein essen falsch ,es kommt keine Entschuldigung nur neues essen kommt sofort es hat dann 10 Minuten gedauert,wenn mann zusammen essen geht möchte mann auch zusammen essen geht hier leider nicht und Getränke nachbestellen muss mann auch winken damit was passiert obwohl der Kellner gerade essen an den Tisch gebracht hat so etwas kenne ich nicht und dann noch angepisst sein wenn es kein Trinkgeld gibt wenn mann dan geht wird sich nicht mal entschuldigt . Es ist nur schade was da aufgebaut wurde mit den Freizeitaktivitäten ist schon schön nur die Gastronomie?,ich werde hier nicht mehr hingehen,Preis Leistung paßt nicht mehr

Das Schnitzel war trocken, der Spargel nicht ordentlich geschält, die Kartoffeln hart. Leider war auch der Service wirklich unfreundlich und schien überfordert. Das für das Kind bestellte Eis erhielten wir erst nach längerer Wartezeit und Nachfrage.

Wir hatten 2 Pizza bestellt zum mitnehmen. Die Pizzas waren aus der Tiefkühltruhe, dafür dann 12,90€ pro Stück zu verlangen herzlichen Glückwunsch. Wir waren das erste und letzte Mal dort.

Große Gaststätte mit verschiedenen Räumen. Sehr nettes und beratendes Personal. Geschmacklich sehr gut und auch große Portionen.

Top Leistung freundliche Bedienung

Wir waren heute zum Bowling dort :-) und sind zufrieden wieder weggefahren

Ich war nun mehrmals dort und habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es ist ständig gut besucht und das Essen ist lecker. Die Belegschaft merkt sich Bestellungen schnell und kann diese flink zuordnen und findet immer mal Zeit für ein paar nette/lustige Bemerkungen. Auf Wünsche wird eingegangen und die Situation wird vom Team gut gelesen. Gleich mit dabei kann man auch bowlen und das geht reibungslos zusammen mit Essen reserviert und man wird dort genauso lieb behandelt wie man es wünscht. Da hatten wir bisher echt keine Probleme und der Platz wird stets sauber gehalten. Ein kleiner Negativpunkt ist, dass vor der Dartscheibe im Nebenraum immer ein Tisch steht (welcher genau dann auch noch besetzt ist) - was einen dann davon abhält mal zu fragen ob man Dart spielen kann. (wer will schon andere Gäste beim Essen stören). Das hält mich dennoch nicht davon ab dieses Restaurant mit 5 Sterne zu bewerten .

Essen ist immer sehr lecker. Spiel und Spass für die Kids gibt es auch, so kann man sich in Ruhe unterhalten. Die Kellner sind sehr zu vorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Kellner Jan war der beste. Super leckere Cocktails und eine tolle Bedienung. Hat für uns einen tollen cocktail kreiert. Ein toller Abend, gerne wieder.

Leckeres Essen, viel Beschäftigung für die kleinen.Immer wieder gern.

Personal super, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Dafür die 2 Punkte. Ich hatte den Mexican Burger für 18,90€. Der Pattie 100%ig saftig.... Naja, Beschreibung nicht ganz zutreffend, aber ok. Jalapeños haben aber komplett gefehlt, dafür gab es sauer eingelegte Peperoni die daneben lagen und nicht wirklich zum Geschmack beigetragen haben. Die Guacamole war leider auch nur für die Farbe und nicht für die Geschmackgebung. Das schlimmste war aber das Bun. Null Geschmack, trocken, konsistens eines auf dem Küchentisch vergessenen Brötchen vom Vortag und genauso hart. Für diesen Preis ist das schon fast eine Frechheit. Beschwerde wurde weiter gegeben. Nachtrag : Burger wurde nicht berechnet, dafür einen Punkt mehr für Service 👍

Schönes Ambiente... nette freundliche Bedienung... gute Auswahl an Speisen aber für die Qualität zu teuer. Geschmacklich nicht so doll.

Restaurant punktet mit großer Auswahl. Das Essen war auch durchweg lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, besonders der blonde Kellner. Schön wäre noch, wenn es etwas weniger Schwein und stattdessen mehr anderes Fleisch geben würde. Die Preise fand ich doch etwas hoch für die Lage und das Ambiente, welches noch verbessert werden sollte. Insgesamt war es jedoch in Ordnung.

Gute Empfehlung um gut und preiswert zu Speisen. Angenehme Atmosphäre, Höfliches und freundliches Personal. Hier sind durch viele Räume gute Familienfeiern möglich. Ideal auch für Kindergeburtstagsfeier. Viele Spielmöglichkeiten. Der Freizeitpark ist gleich um die Ecke. Im Sommer gern auch sitzen auf der Terrasse.

Das Essen ist super und reichlich und bedient sowohl Fleisch- als auch Pflanzenfresser. Während man auf sein Mahl wartet, kann man den Kois beim Schabernacken zusehen. Ich komme gern wieder.
