We were visiting here, and since we'd read some very positive reviews and wanted to enjoy a beautiful view of the Elbe, we stopped in. The food was good and plentiful. However, despite the rising prices in our economy, I think it's a bit overpriced. It says international cuisine on the internet. Most of the food was Italian. So, if you offer Italian cuisine, there should be more different casseroles and more different pizzas. Not just the obligatory ones. No question, I like Italian. But if you say international cuisine, then there should be more of that to choose from. What I didn't like was that the owner stood there the whole time and watched you eat. He certainly meant well, checking to see if the guests wanted anything else, but for me personally, it disturbed the peace and quiet. There's a beautiful view of the Elbe, and if you have a bit more money and like Italian food, I would recommend the restaurant. Conclusion: The food is good, but too expensive for what you get. Comparison: We went to an Italian restaurant in Bernburg, right on the Saale River, where the boat rental is, because we really enjoy Italian food. The Italian restaurant has a wider selection, more casseroles, for example, more extravagant and superb pizzas, but also schnitzel, etc., but it's affordable. Very good food, a bit cheaper, and you also get a small house specialty. But I don't want to advertise other Italian restaurants here. But no one can deny me my own feelings and opinions. Thanks anyway to Restaurant Elbblick. Just my personal opinion. I find it a bit too expensive for what it offers.

One of the last gems of its kind! Mucky's is far more than just a stopover – it's a true experience. Authentic, welcoming, down-to-earth, and full of character. This is exactly what you imagine a place to be, where you'll enjoy lingering and forget about everyday life. The lakeside location is idyllic, the clientele is diverse, and the owners passionately offer what many have forgotten: genuine hospitality. Absolutely 5 stars plus – if you haven't been here, you've definitely missed out!

We visited WELTRAD for lunch. A great location directly on the Elbe and an attractive homepage raised high expectations. A high level seems to be aimed for here - with certainly a lot of ambition - but this doesn't necessarily seem to be successful. High-priced wines and lobster tail in a banana leaf alone don't make a posh restaurant. What catches the eye instead: cheap clothes racks with Kik clothes hangers, no menu (you get a piece of paper on the table), all sorts of food with no concept. The staff is very friendly, but unfortunately clueless. There is no recommendation from the house, after all everything is fine. A subjective impression that we unfortunately cannot share.

I ordered from Pioneerhausen today. Unfortunately, the supplier meant a little too well with the delivery and was probably too quick. Unfortunately, there was hardly any topping left on my asparagus pizza. I found it again on the edge of the boxes. Everything else was very good!

Unfortunately, I was only a guest in the guesthouse for one night. Really great room, modern furnishings, new bathroom, fantastic bed. The hosts and staff are super nice, uncomplicated, service-oriented and friendly. Great breakfast and nice, special atmosphere in the guest room. Great value for money. Many thanks to the saltworks crew for the great service. :-)
