Wir haben im Kreuzgewölbe sowie auf der Terrasse unseren 2x80igen Geburtstag gefeiert und es war einfach perfekt. Die Location ist traumhaft, das Essen köstlich und reichlich und die beiden Servicedamen ach sehr professionell. Wir haben von allen Gästen nur positive Rückmeldungen bekommen. Für die nächste Feier würden wir garantiert wiederkommen.

Eine wirklich tolle Location mit einem ganz besonderen Ambiente. Das Essen war sehr lecker und dazu natürlich die passenden Weine direkt vom Weingut Wasem. Besonders schön ist die Kombination aus historischem Kloster, guter Gastronomie und Wein. Der Service war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Definitiv eine schöne Adresse in Ingelheim und einen Besuch wert!

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im kleinen Kreis im Kloster Wasem gefeiert und hätten uns keinen schöneren Ort dafür wünschen können. Es war einfach rundum gelungen – alle unsere Gäste waren begeistert. Die Räumlichkeiten und die Umgebung sind wunderschön und schaffen eine besondere Atmosphäre. Das Essen war hervorragend und hat unsere Erwartungen sogar noch übertroffen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Service: professionell auf höchstem Niveau, dabei gleichzeitig unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Man hat sich während des gesamten Abends bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team. Wir würden das Kloster Wasem jederzeit wieder als Veranstaltungsort wählen und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne. Sowohl privat, als auch für eine Kundenveranstaltung war das der perfekte Ort. Wir waren mit allem mehr als zufrieden, und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren zu einer Hochzeitsfeier vor Ort und ich kann nur sagen, traumhaft. Wunderschöne Location, leckeres Essen und Hut ab vor dem Service-Team, danke, dass ihr den Tag so gelungen gemacht habt, selbst um 2 Uhr nachts wurde noch gelächelt. 😊

Unter anderem meine Rezension: Zu laut weil eine ca. 20 köpfige Gruppe und unsere Gruppe 9 Personen (mit Reservierung) im selben Raum untergebracht waren. Es gab einen Ausweichraum der wurde uns aber nicht angeboten. 21:50 "Ich hätte gerne zum Nachtisch einen Cacao." "Geht nicht die Kaffeemaschine ist schon sauber gemacht" Die 90 jährige Gastgeberin sagte zum Abschluss: "Nie wieder" So in etwa der Post den das Restaurant hat entfernen lassen.

Eine wunderschöne Location in Ingelheim und ein wahnsinns Konzert mit Tom Gregory erleben dürfen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen in diesem Restaurant ist wirklich gut und auch das Ambiente hat uns sehr gefallen. Allerdings empfanden wir das gesamte Auftreten des Ladens als etwas abgehoben. Die Preise liegen für das Gebotene meiner Meinung nach deutlich zu hoch, und auch die eingeschränkten Öffnungszeiten machen einen spontanen Besuch schwierig. Wer bereit ist, für eine schöne Atmosphäre tiefer in die Tasche zu greifen, wird hier zwar kulinarisch fündig – für uns stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hier aber leider nicht.

Tolle Location für Tagungen. Moderne Tagungsräume, super Verpflegung erfrischender Service. Kann man nur guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Und Ingelheim ist (überraschenderweise) wirklich eine historische Perle.

Sehr schönes Ambiente mit tollem Service und leckerem Essen, wir haben uns sehr Wohl gefühlt. Servicepersonal mit Weinempfehlung hat uns sehr gut beraten. Ist auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen.

Wir waren heute, so wie letztes Jahr 😁, zum Käse-Fondue-Essen im Wasem Kloster Engelthal und was soll ich sagen: Perfektion wie immer 😍! Wir wurden sehr sehr gut von Frau Giese betreut, in Weinfragen beraten (danke für den köstlichen Riesling!) und mit herrlichem Essen bedient! Es wurde völlig unproblematisch auch auf Unverträglichkeiten (hier Gluten, im Vorfeld angefragt) eingegangen und sogar vorbildlich gefragt, ob wir zwei Fonduetöpfe benötigen. Das Essen selbst bestand aus einem Gaumenschmeichler, dem Gruß aus der Küche, einem leckeren Feldsalat und natürlich dem Fondue mit diversen Gemüse- und Fleischsorten (sooo lecker!) und Brot (auch glutenfrei auf Wunsch) und dem Hauptakteur: der Käsemischung. Und die war sooo gut!!! Zum Abschluss gab es ein sehr feines Sorbet. Frau Giese war sehr aufmerksam, ging auf unsere Wünsche ein und war sehr freundlich und professionell. Ebenso die anderen Servicemitarbeiter - man merkt hier einfach auch die Liebe zum Detail und dass es ein wirklich gutes Team ist! Vielen Dank für den wunderschönen Abend mit diesem sooo leckeren Essen! Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch!

Wasem Monastery Engelthal in Ingelheim was a wonderful wedding venue. The preparation and the entire event were very well organized and ran absolutely smoothly. The food was excellent and received high praise from many guests. A definite recommendation for special occasions!

Very friendly and attentive service - food was first-class - we were there with a group, had the buffet - everything was very good - including the potato vinaigrette with the lamb's lettuce - highly recommended.

We celebrated our wedding here last year, and it was incredibly beautiful. This year we came back for dinner, and it was simply amazing. The service was very warm, courteous, attentive, and exceptionally friendly. The food was once again incredibly delicious, and once again, all expectations were exceeded. It's simply a truly wonderful and special location, one that will be truly memorable.

When I made the reservation, I had already stated that we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. We were seated at a table specially set for us. The food was excellent, and above all, the service staff was very attentive. At the next table, there was a couple who seemed unhappy. The staff did everything they could to make the evening enjoyable for them. You rarely see that kind of thing.

We celebrated our wedding in August at Wasem. The entire interaction and service before, during, and after our wedding was outstanding. It was a wonderful celebration for us and our guests, with delicious food and a simply fantastic location.

On July 11th, we arrived at the restaurant shortly after 8 p.m. There was plenty of seating outside. We asked for a table for two. The gaunt, elderly Keller looked at us disdainfully and replied with a dismissive expression: "Nothing." The younger colleague was uncomfortable and uncertainly replied for her arrogant colleague that the kitchen was already closed. So we had to leave, and as we were leaving, we saw the unfriendly colleague setting the table for a couple who had just arrived... Only for snobs!

In mid-September 2025, I celebrated my milestone birthday with over 50 guests at the Wasem-Kloster Engelthal winery. Everyone was thrilled by the modern yet authentic winery setting, the ambience of the cross-vaulted cellar, and the adjacent barrique cellar. The latter was converted into a dance floor. The value for money is convincing, both for the excellent food and the fine wine and the wide selection (the red wine "Pares" is particularly delicious!). The very hospitable, always attentive, and dedicated service is exemplary. Even in the preparation of this celebration, the professionalism of the entire Wasem team was evident, which then contributed decisively to the success of this unforgettable evening. Conclusion: Highly recommended!

Always a fantastic experience! This time with @quartier.yoga, we went to the Yoga Day Retreat with 20 participants. Everything was perfectly organized, the food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Ms. Mares, in particular, is incredibly dedicated and passionate about what she does. The service is friendly, reliable, and fast, making you feel completely at home. This restaurant is definitely one of our favorites, and we enjoy coming back again and again. We had a large event at Engelthal Monastery last weekend. Despite the heat, we were completely satisfied. The preparation and coordination were very professional, and everything was superbly organized on the evening. Excellent food and attentive service. What more could you want!

For our annual fundraising event, we found a friendly and highly competent restaurant in Wasem's Kloster Engelthal. A big thank you to the team for an all-around successful experience. The location is simply gorgeous – tranquil, stylish, and full of historic atmosphere. The three-course menu was a delight of the highest caliber. The kitchen delivered high quality and freshness, and all the dishes were lovingly prepared, delicious, and perfectly matched. A fine selection of excellent wines was served, which wonderfully rounded off the culinary experience. I would especially like to emphasize the perfect organization! Everything ran smoothly and with a palpable warmth. You feel welcome and well looked after. Thank you so much for this special day! We would love to come back again.

We went to brunch, it was ok. What caught our attention was that there was no fruit at all??? Please, a banana, an apple or tangerine.

A perfect birthday party in the barn - the ambience of the room was just right for a not-too-festive and not-too-rustic atmosphere, the grill buffet was praised several times by the guests and friends, some of whom were spoiled, the wine was excellent, the service was friendly, attentive and forward-looking until the end at 3 o'clock. Everything was perfect! 100% recommendation.

Hi, yes we were there on Thursday afternoon and felt comfortable. Met acquaintances, and great weather, the rose spritzer and Riesling taste particularly good. At the counter, nice staff and well-chilled drinks. The only drawback; If I get drinks in glasses for 5 people, that's a lot of money with the glass deposit, so you only spend 2 glasses, although the spritzer is not overpriced at 4.50 euros. The food stand was okay, but nothing more. The kids also had fun and had a great time running around and there were enough parking spaces. Would love to come back

We were here for a conference. It's a great location for business events with groups of up to 100 people, and the venue has attractive conference rooms. The catering, however, varied considerably. Dinner was very good and gave no cause for complaint, but lunch was unfortunately bland, tasteless, and served with frozen vegetables.

We were able to do a wine tasting flight there today. Even though we hadn't registered, the team on site allowed us to try: 5 different white wines, each with local tapas. It was a dream! The very different wines were all great, and the tapas from our own restaurant went perfectly with them. In addition, a very friendly and courteous service. We felt very comfortable. And our impression was that the people there like their job and stand by their products. Rightly so!

We spent a wonderful evening here with the best cheese fondue, an equally excellent Pinot Gris and other delicacies. The evening was rounded off by the service, which always contributed significantly to the success of the evening with a good atmosphere and the best expertise. So I'll just say thank you! I would love to come back here.

Wir haben an einem Abend ein familiäres Fest mit etwas über 50 Personen gefeiert. Die technische Organisation von der Buchung über die Festlegung von Tageskarte und Equipment bis zum Auffangen kurzfristiger Verschiebungen in der Teilnehmerzahl hat problemlos funktioniert. Die Tische waren sehr ansprechend gedeckt, Essen und Getränke von hoher Qualität. Die Betreuung am Abend selbst war engagiert und von großer Freundlichkeit. Es gab viele positive Rückmeldungen von unseren Gästen, die wir hiermit gerne weitergeben.

Entgegen der positiven Erlebnisse der letzten Jahre, waren wir dieses Mal mit der Wahl des Hauptgangs sehr enttäuscht. Die Ente hatte eine weiße wabbelige und fettige Haut (mal unter den Grill geschoben hätte ihr gut getan), das Rotkraut war viel zu weich und verkocht und die Klöße haben fast geschmeckt wie aus der Packung angerührt (wahrscheinlich viel zu viel Kartoffelmehl drin)

We weren't in the restaurant. This weekend is the vintage tasting and there are only small things to eat. What was there tasted good. Tasting a vintage in such an atmosphere is something special. The wines that were tasted were tasty. I would come again.

Theoretically nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the door doesn't close properly and the vestibule is constantly open. The employees don't care, so as a guest you get up yourself or freeze. The food was a disgrace for the price quoted. The menu differentiated between large and small portions, but even the larger one wouldn't even be half a senior's plate. It doesn't even come close to enough. Nothing special in terms of taste, the energy goes into decorating the few things. The meat was so raw that you could still hear the deer bleating and had to be sent back to the kitchen. If it is planned to be served almost raw, write this on the menu or ask the guest about his preferences. Food: 1 Service: 2 Ambience: 1

Ich feierte meinen 50. Geburtstag im Kloster Engelthal! Ich, sowie auch alle Gäste waren absolut begeistert von Ambiente, Essen und natürlich sowie Trinken! Das Essen hat wirklich jeden Gaumen begeistert, ein Roastbeef vom feinsten, der Fisch einfach perfekt gegart, sowie auch alle anderen Gerichte, die wir in Büffetform bekamen. Den Wein kauften sogar einige meiner Gäste direkt vor Ort in der Vinothek (ich träume nur noch von meinem neusten Lieblingswein, dem Sauvignon Blanc!) Ich hatte das Essen in Büffetform gewählt. Die Gerichte, welche mir der Koch vorschlug, waren hervorragend und auch etwas besonderes. Hinzu nahm ich pro Gast ein "Getränkepaket"/ Stunde. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis fand ich perfekt. Für Kinder war der Preis für Getränke, bzw Essen günstiger. Das Ambiente, das wunderschön renovierte Kloster gibt einfach einen grossen Charme ab! Auch für einen kleinen Spaziergang war Zeit, denn drumherum ist ein herrliches Gelände. Super ist der dazugehörige grosse Parkplatz, es gibt wirklich auch bei 2 grossen Veranstaltungen gleichzeitig keine Parkplatzprobleme. Mein grosser Dank geht auch an den Service, unsere beiden Kellner/innen, sowie die Küche! Sie brillierten durch ihre Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit! Wir werden auf jeden Fall, wie auch bestimmt einige Gäste von uns, wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für die wunderschöne, perfekte Feier, die mir das Wasem Kloster Engelthal bereitet hat!!

Liebes Klosterteam, vielen lieben Dank für diesen phantastischen Abend! Es hat wirklich alles gepasst! Super netter, aufmerksamer Service. Klare Empfehlung gibt es für das Menü. Wir haben das 3-Gang Menü gewählt. Tolles Preis/Leistungsverhältnis! Großes Lob an die Küche! Perfekt! Wer es mag: absolute Empfehlung für den alkoholfreien Sekt aus dem Grundwein vom Weingut. Ist wirklich mal eine schmackhafte Alternative für Autofahrer oder Nicht-Trinker. Wir kommen wieder! Dankeschön 🫶
