Warsteiner am Stadttheater in Kempten (Allgäu)

We received a very friendly welcome. We enjoyed the food excellently. The bad reviews are in no way understandable or justified. We'll definitely be back!

Never go there again, the landlord talks stupidly to the guests, and his wife can't cook at all, the salad comes from a can and the food is from a fryer, and you pay a lot of money for that. The innkeeper's arrogant behavior is ridiculous. There are better places in Kempten where you can go to eat. The furnishings are so old and the chairs are completely worn out, just terrible. And with the live bands, this place can't get any better. If you go there, it's your own fault. The website advertises fresh food...so Tk True and canned salad isn't freshly cooked. Take a look at the prices that Warsteiner advertises, it will make you dizzy and almost impudent.

Eat and drink well and cheaply, great hosts to chat with

There were 4 of us there because of the gourmet block. It was outstanding. Appropriate portions. Top meat and very nice hosts. I can't understand the negative reviews and I can't understand what these guests want or what makes them happy. We'll definitely be back. Thanks

We were there with 13 people and we all got our food together. The host is really great and I think the landlady cooks. We would love to come back

Unfortunately the food wasn't good. The mushroom sauce was extremely watery, tasted like old frozen food and the mushrooms had a very strange consistency. The second dish was ok, but in general the dishes do not live up to the prices. We somehow didn't feel comfortable/welcome during our stay either. Too bad :-(

We were with the Schlemmerblock. We received very nice service today. Food (Almschnitzel) was also great. Prices are a little higher (although this is common practice everywhere). But quality is great. Were very satisfied. Thanks.

Based on the prices you would expect fine dining. The food wasn't bad, but not appropriate for the price range. Were there because of the voucher book, but also the last time because of standard food and high prices. Ambiance is also more like a pub. Overall we were shocked by the price/performance ratio so we can't recommend it. Salad wasn't good at all. The carrots were terrible and, from our guess, canned. The meat was okay and the fries too, but not exceptional as you would expect.

Been there because of the gourmet block. Very nice and attentive service. And the food was really delicious too. In our opinion we can recommend it.

The four of us went to the Warsteiner at the city theater for the first time on Saturday evening. The Schlemmerblock took us there. We were immediately warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The waiter/boss is very attentive and takes his time with the customers. The atmosphere is quaint and fun. The food was top and was freshly prepared. I usually hardly write any reviews but I can really recommend the store. We will be back!

A very friendly and attentive service that responds to individual requests. The food was delicious and the drinks were good too, we had nothing to complain about. The atmosphere was pleasant and, above all, not too loud and crowded, as is unfortunately the case in other restaurants these days. All in all, we had a lovely evening at Warsteiner, will be back and can recommend a visit.

We became aware of the Warsteiner through the “Schlemmerblock”. I previously thought that this was "just" a small pub, BUT the food was delicious and the service was great very nice and friendly. Will definitely come back - even without a voucher.

We ended up here via the Schlemmerblock. Conclusion: You don't have to have it, if you weren't here, you didn't miss anything. Service was ok, food mediocre at best.

Highly recommended, the price is absolutely fair and both the food and service are really good. Very warm and cozy. The steaks may be a bit expensive for some, but good quality also costs money and the prices are really fair. Happy to come back! :)

Very tasty food. I recommend the pan with handmade Maultaschen. The waiter was very friendly and one of the old school, which is far too rare to find these days. You had the feeling that he enjoyed his work and the food also seemed to be lovingly prepared. A really successful evening!

The service was nice but brought us the wrong drinks. For dishes that cost more than €22 per person, they really weren't good. My colleague and I both felt very bad afterwards and both threw up in the evening. Prices too expensive for such small dishes. I'm talking for 4 people here.

Delicious food at good prices. Went there with the online gourmet block, which didn't affect the portion or service. It was clear that we were just passing through. Despite this, or perhaps because of this, the innkeepers were very accommodating. From the old school. Very nice. Can only recommend the restaurant.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden und haben sehr lecker gegessen (frisch zubereitet). Würde man dem Lokal von außen nicht ansehen.

Der erste Eindruck täuscht, gutes Essen mit abwechslungsreicher Speisekarte. Die Chefin geht auch auf Sonderwünsche ohne Probleme ein. Chef und Chefin sehr nett. Vom WoMo Stellplatz nur 3-5 Gehminuten entfernt. Wir würden da jeder Zeit wieder hin gehen. Dienstag und Mittwoch Ruhetag.

Sehr gutes Rumpsteak, Spaghetti mit sehr kleinen Shrimps, Käsespätzle so lala. Alles in einem gutes Essen, leider war der Russ Lack und ohne Kohlensäure:(

Sie waren sehr positiv überrascht von dem leckeren Essen auch die Wirtsleute sind sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Nur zu empfehlen.. leckere Steaks und der Teufelstoast ist grandios! Wir kommen wieder..

Wir waren in Gruppe und fanden den Abend gelungen, wie immer war das Essen super und die 2-Mann Band brachte uns die Stimmung zum Mitmachen.

Zum trinken ok. Zum Essen ist mir nichts bekannt. Wir waren nur einen trinken. Am Samstag ab und zu ist ein Livemusikabend. Nette Leute Musik auch Tanzmusik ok. Lokal sauber
