The restaurant has a very pleasant and cozy atmosphere. Teas are prepared with fresh ingredients. The food is attractively presented, and the ingredients for the garnishes were fresh and well-balanced.

The food and ambiance are almost perfect, but the service is truly awful. After the main course dishes were cleared, none of the staff paid any further attention to us, and we had to get up and find them so we could order more drinks and desserts. On top of that, they only accept EC cards (debit cards) and do not accept credit or debit cards.

I had ramen today, it was really delicious! 🍜 The broth was rich and not too salty, just right. The noodles were cooked perfectly, everything was fresh and well-balanced. The mushrooms and nori were especially great. The meat on the side was incredibly tender and full of flavor. Cozy place, friendly service. I'll definitely be back! 🤝😉

I've never been disappointed at Anami. The menu is extensive, yet they make no compromises; the sushi, in particular, is exceptionally well-crafted and flavorful. We were there at peak time on a Saturday night and had our food less than 20 minutes later. The service is always exceptionally friendly, and the open-plan kitchen speaks for itself...

Not a cheap restaurant for not-so-tasty food. A real shame. :(

Service was absolutely appalling! There were four of us, and we had three appetizers, which arrived relatively quickly, and two of them were fried a bit too long. The main course, which we ordered at the same time, was only served after a 70-minute delay upon request. The ordered dish, consisting of sweet potatoes, was practically without any sweet potatoes. Service was also nonsensical. The restaurant has the feel of a train station concourse; it's loud; newly arrived drunks were quickly served beer, but waiting guests were not served. The menus are worn and leave one with the impression that this isn't a restaurant but a fast-food joint. All in all – a very unpleasant experience. 2 stars for friendly service and two at least very appealing dishes at the neighboring table. I wouldn't recommend it!

The selection of dishes is very large, so there's sure to be something for everyone. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The ordered meals were lovingly prepared and incredibly delicious. Orders were also prepared very quickly. Definitely worth several visits.

Ten of us went out to eat, and without exception, everyone had stomach cramps and vomited. The food tasted okay, but the sushi rice didn't taste like sushi. I wouldn't subject even my worst enemies to that.

Beautiful restaurant, came here on a recommendation. Unfortunately, the service team was completely overwhelmed. We waited 20 minutes at our table for the menu. We then ordered drinks and food in one sitting. It took a good hour in total for us to get food at our table. The sushi platter for two was very tasty and plentiful. The cocktails were beautifully decorated, but unfortunately not very tasty. There's a lot of potential, and there are certainly some good experiences here. I'm convinced of that. Unfortunately, ours was a disappointment.

My first and last visit to ANAMI Kempten: Outdated menus with no longer available products, the wrong main course and overall very slow and inattentive service, even though there was hardly anything going on. The food itself was okay, but the service quality was subpar.

We often eat Asian/Japanese and we liked Anami. Without the starters it might not have been enough for my two daughters. You don't have to overeat, but 24 euros should feed a child. It wasn't cheap either, but the quality and taste were impressive. Hence 5 stars.

Unfortunately, the dishes are now presented carelessly and not appetizingly. The chicken breast in the summer rolls tasted musty, just like cooked chicken that has been stored for a long time tastes like that. The "salad" that was served with the rice or pasta dishes was neither fresh nor varied (pieces of iceberg lettuce with brown edges, limp rocket and lots of bean sprouts). Meat and fish were fried deader than dead. It's a shame, I'm really disappointed. I will not visit this restaurant again.

The food was quite good. However, the selection could be a little better. In my opinion it's a lot mixed up... The payment methods are also a BIG negative point. Card payments starting at €35 would still be okay if Anami accepted credit cards. Foreign EC cards are also not accepted. Really funny stuff like that. So you HAVE to pay in cash, who has cash with them these days???

Our second visit to Anami in Kempten, this time a disappointment. The service was unmotivated, not particularly friendly... we wanted to take our plates away even though there was still food on the plate... The starter tasted ok, not as special as on the first visit. The main course with a various selection of sushi was really disappointing, neither in terms of taste nor how it was prepared, but a hefty price. The ambience wasn't great either, as the unoccupied tables were very untidy and not cleaned, at least while we were there. Too bad….

Overall, my visit to this Asian restaurant was very successful. The starter didn't entirely convince me; it didn't look entirely fresh and a bit careless, which reminded me of a necklace. The main course, however, was a real treat! It was incredibly tasty and had an excellent taste - you can tell that the cooking here is done with love. The staff were mostly friendly, although there were a few exceptions who seemed a bit unmotivated. The ambience is modern and inviting, which makes the visit very pleasant. The prices are absolutely fine. Despite the minor flaws with the starter, I would definitely come back to try more of the delicious main courses!

We wanted to celebrate a nice wedding anniversary. The table reservation made personally and on site 2 days before was “forgotten”. The supposedly great and very expensive lemonades consisted mostly of finished products and were far too sweet. No comparison with real “homemade” in other Asian restaurants. The fried sushi was nicely prepared but very average in taste and with little salmon. The egg noodle bowl was visually great but otherwise really bad. The crispy chicken "drowned" in very salty sauce and therefore soggy crust. The meat taste was also not convincing. The dish tasted more like glutamate. Conclusion: there is a much better sushi Asian for us in Kempten! Too bad 🤔

Modernly furnished restaurant. The dishes themselves are ok but nothing special. The price range is also suitable for sushi (it's supposed to be a little more upscale). In terms of portions, the sushi is rather small. Quality is also good so far. I was very positively surprised by the drinks (my recommendation here is the Shenlong). Nice service and open kitchen. Overall, recommended :)

It was ok. Staff and restaurant very nice. Only when it came to food, the sauce for the Health Boy dish was too sweet, had too many tomatoes, and the amount of sauce was too large. Was ok, but didn't rip off the stool. Hence the deductions. But I actually have to praise the spring rolls, the dip that comes with them and the rolls themselves are really delicious.

The food is good - but for me the price-performance ratio is not right: €7.50 for a homemade soda, €6.90 for 600ml of mineral water. In other big cities (Aachen, Munich) I pay less for drinks and here we are in Kempten. Unfortunately for me that's a reason not to go again.

Everything was great.. food, ambience, service. We had various starters, a large self-made sushi platter and dessert. Unfortunately, the selection of desserts is very limited (currently 2 out of 3 desserts). But everything was delicious and came surprisingly quickly. We had a good time and would love to come back.

The food is really delicious and fresh every time. Since there is also a weekly menu at lunchtime, the range of dishes is large and varied. The service is very attentive without being intrusive.

Wir mögen die stylisch simple Ausstattung und die offene Küche. Die Sushi sind extrem lecker und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt. Der Service ist freundlich und absolut in Ordnung. Ein Billigangebot ist das Anami eindeutig nicht, aber welches Sushi-Restaurant ist das schon. Allerdings, und das ist ein freundlicher Hinweis an das Management: Die Sushi-Gerichte, vor allem die großen „Platten“, waren schonmal optisch aufregender und inhaltlich besser. Hier sollte man wieder zu alter Form finden. Trotzdem, alles in allem ein guter und zu empfehlender Laden.

The food actually tasted very good. I ordered something to take away for my husband. It was with chicken. Unfortunately there were only four pieces of meat and a mini portion of rice. He was extremely disappointed and of course not full.

Mixed experience at Anami in Kempten. Service varied greatly: one waiter was professional, while another not so much. The fresh mint drink was overly sweet and disappointing. The starter lacked salt but was acceptable, but the main dish with peanut sauce was overly sweet and unpleasant, making it difficult to eat. The restaurant appears charming from the outside but is more suited to bar food than fine dining. Set your expectations accordingly.

Parking was on the side street with a parking permit. We were there during the week, so I think it might be more difficult on the weekend. We made a reservation online, it was pointed out in the email that the reservation is only binding once a confirmation email follows, unfortunately this did not come. We tried anyway, the reservation was in the system and there was space. However, I find it disadvantageous if this is specifically pointed out, but then the confirmation does not arrive. The ambience is nice, it is advisable to choose a Tiach in the middle of the restaurant and not at the window. Then you can see the open kitchen, there was a bit of a draft at the window. The food was delicious especially the sushi, you can't fault it. The higher prices are therefore absolutely ok. The large drinks served in glass bottles are quite impressive. The service is pleasant, especially the friendly young man who served the food. What definitely deducts a point is the fact that only cash payment was possible that day. So my husband had to go back to the pew while we (family) were already sitting at the table. If we are in the area again, it is worth visiting again. Thanks

I have to say I'm extremely disappointed about the quality,the size of the portions and the atmosphere of the place. First of all we got a table next to the toilet 🚽 where is very loud and unpleasant. The food was not more than average and overpriced.(+very small portions) I asked an extra sauce because the dish was very dry,the waitress charged 2,5 euro for a little sauce,but was my fault because I should have sent it back, for 18 euro the meal not worth it. It was a very bad experience and the worst experience I had in any restaurants. There are much better Asian restaurants in Kempten for less money. Not recommended at all!
