Waris Restaurant & Lieferservice in Salem

We had the food delivered. It was on time, still hot and tasted good. Special requests (due to allergies) were also fulfilled.

We ordered food online for 5 people in the morning, it was delivered promptly at 6 p.m. and tasted excellent. The packaging was also very professional and clean.

Had a delicious meal at this Indian restaurant. An extensive menu of various dishes. Delicious rice with lamb, tasty sauce. A lot of orders are placed for delivery, so it is quite busy in the kitchen. If you have had enough of German cuisine, then this is definitely recommended. Small parking space next to the terrace.

Super tasty Indian food at a super reasonable price. The service is also great and you feel comfortable and well served here. The pizza is also very tasty

With every order, really every order, something is missing. This is getting extremely annoying. After calling, it is not offered that it will be delivered, mind you, we only live 4 minutes away.

Amazing indian food with great taste

After a lot of thought, as many people in the circle we knew had warned us, we ordered it out of necessity. only ordered Indian. we had lamb mango, mix grill and biryani with shrimp. The only thing that got a star was the biryani, which tasted okay but only tasted of glutamate and coriander. The other two dishes were absolute failures, the lamb in mango sauce, if you could call it sauce. There were 5 x 1cm by 1cm pieces of lamb in the sauce that sank. The sauce was pureed so that you couldn't recognize or taste any mango. Overall, the sauce tasted like a ready-made packet for 1 euro from the discount store. The grill plate included 4 pieces of chicken breast with peppers and 3 pieces with mint. The meat was absolutely dry and looked like it had been served at a buffet that had been there for hours (moist on the bottom and completely dried out on the top. The sauce from the "grill plate" was pleasant. The side salad had brown spots on the salad and looked like it came from one Doner kebab, the naan bread was delicious but if you mess it up you should stop cooking! Result: my doubts were justified and we can't understand who would go there a second time!!!! no further recommendation! 50 euros for the ass...

Awful. If I want a €1.50 frozen pizza, I go to Lidl.

Waited two hours for food even though it said 40 minutes. Called and said 2 minutes on the way and waited another 20 minutes.

The atmosphere is very German. To be rated neutrally, just like the service. Nice people. The food (burgers and pizza) was subpar, frozen food (I think you should have said that). Maybe the Indian dishes are better, but for a total of €21 you can get a lovingly prepared and, above all, homemade pizza and a solid burger in every kebab shop. There was nothing left open, so I thought “Go for it.” It was absolutely not worth the money. I should have been skeptical given the fairly massive selection, but I'm actually used to better things from Lake Constance. We live 5 minutes away by car and the pizza was lukewarm and the burger cold. I'd rather not do it again. Disappointing.

We come to the restaurant every now and then to enjoy Indian food and we are always positively impressed. The food tastes very tasty, the portions are large, the restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated and the staff are very friendly. I can only recommend it. It is much better than the Indian restaurant in Überlingen, for example.

The Waris is a small restaurant with an Indian ambience and Bollywood TV program, which still has a hint of its former “pub” appearance. However, the (Indian) food is excellent and quite comparable to Goa. We were welcomed very friendly and felt comfortable. Therefore you can give the price-performance ratio 5 stars.

I can't say anything about the ambience. We used the delivery service. The delivery time was great for a Sunday evening! Unfortunately part of the delivery was missing. After several attempts to call (the number was not in use) I reached the restaurant. After the nice young lady was able to make it clear that we didn't want to wait for the next tour in our direction. The forgotten food arrived quite quickly. Unfortunately the tiramisu is a disgrace. Getting packaged wholesale goods at that price is sad. Then even less than stated. It's a real shame, nobody has anything against store-bought dessert, but you should be fair enough to state the quantity correctly. The food was delicious, maybe a touch too much glutamate 😉

Delivery very quickly - even before the stated delivery time. Driver was very friendly, but only spoke very broken German. The fries including nuggets were unfortunately very soggy, pizza was cold but tasted okay. Not recommended.

Also die Preise gehen echt klar, aber die Qualität der Pizzen lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Pizzen war nach der Lieferung nur noch lauwarm und hatten eine zäh-gummi Artige Konsistenz. Dafür war die Lieferung relativ genau nur 40 min statt 30 min haben wir gewartet 👍

Abbiamo mangiato cibo indiano ed era tutto ottimo. Servizio molto gentile. Prezzo economico. Ci sono anche piatti vegetariani (vegetarian) e vegani (vegan).

Pizza ohne Rand und super dünn belegt. Salatdressing sehr geschmacksneutral. Enttäuschend. Bin mir sicher, dass das vor einigen Monaten anders war.

Sehr leckere indische Gerichte. Und der Ort scheint auch ein netter Platz zum sitzen zu sein. Gern wieder 😃

Ich gehe gerne indisch Essen und habe daher die Möglichkeit zu vergleichen. Und da war das Essen nicht gut. Sowohl das Mango Paneer als auch das Chicken Korma war viel zu salzig und das Mango Lassi sehr dünn. Einzig das Naan Brot war sehr lecker. Und günstig war das Essen für die dürftige Qualität auch nicht. Die 4,5 in der Google-Bewertung, mit der ich sonst fast immer gute Erfahrungen mache, sind eindeutig zu hoch.

Hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Nette Bedienung. Hat nur etwas mehr gekostet, als wir eigentlich ausgeben wollten.

Es werden viele Gerichte angeboten von Pizza Burger usw habe mich für das Indische entschieden das sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Es gibt einen Aussenbereich der ok ist. Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Parkplätze sind ein paar am Restaurant.

Zum 4. Mal N. I. C. H. T. in der Lage das Essen O. H. N. E. ZWIEBELN zu liefern. Wir haben ausdrücklich schriftlich und mündlich EXTRA mehrfach darauf hingewiesen. Ist DAS denn so schwer zu verstehen ?????? —————————————————————————— Geschmacklich ist das Essen allerdings sehr lecker. Dafür gebe ich sehr gerne 5 Sterne.
