Wallenstein-Stuben in Memmingen

I came expecting a warm welcome. Sorry, I had to turn back. Not a hello, not a smile, not a glance, or if there was one, it was a sideways glance. How cold.

I went there with a friend for dinner. It's a lovely, rustic restaurant with a small hall where we were lucky enough to have live music that evening. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the value for money was superb. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

It was the first time in a long time that I've been to the restaurant. The food was excellent... They make really good pasta. They don't have a huge selection, but what they do offer is tasty. The decor is inviting, and they even help you put on your jacket. What more could you want?

There were six of us for lunch on a public holiday. We called three hours in advance and reserved a table. The children all wanted large portions, but the friendly waiter recommended smaller portions, which was an excellent suggestion! There was a mistake in the kitchen, and we were served beetroot instead of red cabbage. We received an apology and a complimentary drink. Final verdict: Very friendly staff and very welcoming service!

A very good offer and very good food that's reasonably priced. The staff is very nice and friendly. It's a real treat to get food prepared like a home cook's meal, and it tastes so good you'll want more.
