The creations from the kitchen were exceptionally prepared and incredibly tasty. The main course was a delight and the varied parfait for dessert was a highlight! Recommended! Greetings and thanks to the staff, it was a completely successful evening in the Waldsee

We had a jazz brunch with live music and were able to Share the stage. The service was excellent, as was the food very good. We had a great party and the Waldsee loved us offered a very good service. Price-performance ratio was right. Many thanks to the Waldsee team.

If you don't come as a group but only as a couple, you feel pretty lost in a very loud, large room. The actually nice ambience suffers greatly as a result. The food is really good, a selection of juices and mineral water would be desirable.

I had brunch with 14 people and I can only recommend this restaurant. Great atmosphere and very tasty, varied food. There were four of us vegans and two vegetarians (the rest ate everything) and everyone found something, even the hot dishes. Price/performance is completely consistent. We had a wonderful waitress, but the second service wasn't very pleasant. We ordered beer and cola with the hot dishes. The waitress didn't move a meter, we had to pick up our drinks from her and distribute them. Unfortunately that doesn't work at all and it spoiled the otherwise perfect morning a bit and therefore one star less.

We were eating here with a bus group, but our bus driver wasn't kept free!

We had a company party in the Waldsee with 40 people. Everything was great - from the ambience, the great service and a grill buffet, which everyone was thrilled about. The whole evening was perfect all around and we will definitely celebrate there again. Many thanks to Mr. Kern and the team.

We sat outside by the pond, very nice and cozy, the staff were very friendly and attentive, unfortunately the steak wasn't medium rare and the vegetables weren't to our taste

The service is attentive and the seating is nice. The schnitzel is very dry, the fries are lukewarm, the spaetzle is unsalted. This was the second time I've eaten here and I'm really not impressed.

We were able to enjoy a wonderful breakfast with our guests. The quality, quantity and service were right. There was neither hectic nor stress. Everything was right for us. Thanks to the super nice team!!

Because of its proximity to our campsite, we stopped here twice. There is a beautiful beer garden located by the forest lake. The service was friendly and the food tasted great. The Baden Dreierlei and the chicken with orecchiette are recommended.

The location is beautiful, the buffet is very tasty. The warm food is also ok But that's criticism at a very high level, because if you're not careful, you'll be so full by then because there's a lot of good stuff out there. Adding more to the buffet also works very well. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Great service

We won't come back. The prices are really high now, but that's the case everywhere. However, if a colorful salad consists almost entirely of leaf lettuce (plenty) and the "colorful" is just a small blob of carrot lettuce and an even smaller blob of coleslaw, supplemented by exactly *one* slice of cucumber and exactly *two* pieces of tomato - for I think 10.50 EUR - no, that's not enough. Unfortunately the salad wasn't entirely fresh either... It's very nice to sit in, but unfortunately that doesn't make up for it. In addition, the menu is really small and it is difficult to understand what is generally available and what is only available seasonally. So bratwurst with fries was part of the winter menu, aha. It's a shame, we used to love being here.

Nice terrace in nature. Also an attraction for weddings and parties. During our visit there was a party in preparation.

The Sunday brunch is highly recommended. Very generous offering with sparkling wine, salmon and warm dishes. It's wonderful to sit outside by the lake.

I don't recommend it at the moment. Went there for dinner with a friend a few weeks ago. We sat on the terrace of the building. The tables were cleared, but not wiped and therefore still dirty from the previous person. Butts were on the floor. There was another bottle at the next table. There was a company inside, the ambience inside is clean and, to my taste, well furnished, with lively colors, but also very sterile. The staff saw us but was too busy with the other guests at the lake. Waving several times and asking us to wave a rag were finally heard after we had been there for a good 10-15 minutes. Not good service. The food came in a reasonable time, but was absolutely not a highlight. Cleanly presented, color coordinated. The salad was bland, barely seasoned, tasted like a salad from the salad bar at Rewe and the like. To my taste, the breaded schnitzel was as if it had come from Aldi already frozen and warmed up in the microwave. The brown sauce was clearly a packet sauce. Purely subjectively, I had the impression that I was eating in a convenience kitchen. You can't say anything about the price, normal restaurant prices, but I would have paid less in a snack bar. Finally, someone swept the terrace, even though some guests were still there. Seen this way, the old, rustic cult restaurant with a certain flair and good Baden cuisine became a clean, yuppie-looking event shed. I don't like it there, subjectively I had the impression of a convenience kitchen A greeting to the kitchen, especially to the young chemist(s). Thank you very much for nothing. The lake and the evening were beautifully summery, the outside ambience was good.

We were there twice this week - unfortunately there was a discrepancy on both days. Day 1: We were there relatively early. A service person came to us immediately and took the order. The food (slices and "chicken breast with parmesan crust on creamy orecchiette and vegetables" was there after 10 minutes (it felt like 5 minutes) and tasted good. What was interesting was that the Cola glass had a lemon in it and the Fanta glass had an orange in it. They then asked for a desert map, which they then received. Fantastic service and food so far - worth 5 stars. But then the focus of the guests had shifted to the lake and we were sitting at table 33, according to the flower pot, a little to the side - which meant that somehow no one noticed us anymore and we couldn't order dessert. After 25 minutes, a new (newly employed) service person noticed us and we could finally order the desert or she passed the order on to someone with a tablet/PDA. Points are deducted for waiting. Day 2: It was a little fuller and we ordered the Waldseeburger twice and were recognized by the service person - very attentive. In my opinion, the burger or paddie was on the grill for too long. For me it was very, very crispy on the outside and unfortunately for my brother it was already dead and dry on the inside. What was interesting was that the Cola glass got nothing this time and the Fanta glass had a lemon in it. The service staff was very friendly on both days. There are 4 stars because things didn't go 100% smoothly on both days.

An early evening visit. Stopped here after a long tour of the Black Forest. Parking spaces directly at the house. We also got a seat right by the lake spontaneously and without a reservation. There are many places, it's always worth asking. The staff is very young and extremely friendly. When the glasses are empty, we're there straight away and always have an open ear. Change requests are also possible when ordering. The wait for food was barely 5 minutes. What modern ordering devices can do. The prices are normal, the drinks were a little cheaper than expected. Great, we'll come back again. And the way back to the tram is less than 5 minutes on foot. Splendid

The service was super nice and attentive, but the food wasn't worth the price. The warm dishes were only lukewarm, the vegan tarte flambée was subpar, everything was carelessly slapped on top and not really tasty. Of course the ambience makes up for it.

We were a group of 14 people and felt completely comfortable. Very attentive service, we received our food at the same time, we actively asked for more drinks and of course our every request was catered for. We all really enjoyed lunch followed by coffee and cake. Of course, the surrounding area is also nice, where you can take a short walk around the lake, play Frisbee on the lawn and go for a ride on a pedal boat. Really a good recommendation even for larger groups.

Habe mir voller Vorfreude einen Salat mit Ziegenkäse für 17.- € bestellt. Der Salat den ich bekam, war weder schön angerichtet noch ausgarniert. Auf einem Teller wurde einfach mehrere große Salatblätter gelegt, daneben zwei Scheiben Gurken und zwei dünne Tomatenscheiben eine Eßl. große Menge Karotten und Selleriesalat. In einem kleinen Glas war die Salatsauce die niemals annähernd ausreichend war für die große Salatblätter auf dem kleinen Teller. Wer denkt das wenigstens der kleine lauwarme Ziegenkäse geschmeckt hat, irrt sich. Auch die total überteuerte Portion Pommes für ca. 8€ und die selbstgemachte Majo ( die leider aus der Tube kam) ist echt frech. Als die Bedienung gefragt hat ob alles recht war, habe ich ihr gesagt dass ich mit dem Satat nicht zu Frieden war, aber passiert ist Nix. Dann braucht man aber auch nicht fragen. Sorry. Einmal und nie wieder!!

We had a wonderful celebration with attentive staff and good food! Annoyingly, however, a person in the parking lot scratched various bodies of our guests' cars (definitely vandalism and not an accident while parking or something similar). The following day we also reported this to the restaurant. Unfortunately, we encountered indifference there. Nevertheless, the day will always be fondly remembered for us. Thank you!

In transit from Tuscany to the Netherlands. Booked a studio along the way and went looking for 'something' to eat and drink. Waldsee, within walking distance, was recommended. Wow! Positively surprising in all respects. Professional and friendly staff. Excellent menu, delicious dessert for a good price! Also a beautiful environment!

We celebrated our wedding in the Waldsee and chose absolutely the right location! From the discussions about the planning in advance to the quick and uncomplicated communication to the smooth process on the day of our wedding, everything worked wonderfully! Everything was very well organized and prepared when we came to the Waldsee celebration after our wedding. We felt very comfortable and we also received exactly the same feedback from our guests. The food was also very good. We would host a celebration there again at any time!

Very nice location on the lake as already mentioned many times. Nice service. The food was below average and relatively expensive. Had a burger - not a fresh meatball, tasted like it was warmed in a microwave for €17.50. I'd rather go to McDonald's

Ich war schon öfter hier, die Terrasse am See ist wundervoll, der studentische Service freundlich. Die Preise bewegen sich leider immer mehr in Richtung inakzeptabel. Während Wein und Flammkuchen noch in Ordnung sind, haben wir uns über die überteuerten Mini-Pommes und den mittelmäßigen Salat schon gewundert. Bei 3,20€ für 0,5l Leitungswasser hat es uns dann echt die Sprache verschlagen. Schade eigentlich um den schönen Ort…

Invited to a birthday dinner - unfortunately the roast veal was very tough (beef?) and the Waldseeburger was totally dry. Chicken breast on vegetables was very good - but you had to look for the vegetables, noodles could have been a little more. Overall, the price/performance ratio isn't quite right. It's a shame for the beautiful atmosphere.

I think everything is great there. Good atmosphere thanks to the lots of greenery around the forest lake. Good service, delicious food. I can especially recommend the tarte flambée. Restaurant well furnished.

We sat directly on the beautiful lake with a view of the small, picturesque island. The service staff were in a good mood, the food tasted delicious and we had a great evening.

I ate the schnitzel with spaetzle and sat outside by the lake. When the weather is nice it is very nice there and the cuisine is good. Prices are a bit high.

The ambience is of course unbeatable! That alone would make you come back again and again. The view of the lake is beautiful and very romantic! It also lets you overlook the somewhat sluggish service. As a tip to the inn: If there is less loud shouting throughout the room, you will immediately feel more comfortable as a guest. ;) And a smile is always well received. Food was certainly good, but not earth-shattering. For the price, I also found that there were far too few fried potatoes on the mixed plate. But they tasted good. Anyway, I probably wouldn't come back just for food. But in combination with the lake, really beautiful!
