Friendly staff and good ambience. The food was delicious and very nicely prepared, but unfortunately I went home hungry because the portion was quite small.

Wow, that was the best food I have ever eaten in Waldshut. The service is attentive and friendly. My son had pasta with seafood and he loved it.

Unfortunately not what we expected I recently dined at Villa Martino with my family and I have to say the restaurant left a mixed impression. The atmosphere is really nice and the restaurant was very clean, which is definitely a positive. However, we had great difficulties when ordering. It seems like you have to speak either Italian or Albanian to communicate properly. This made it very difficult for us to ask questions about the courts. I chose the bruschetta and specifically asked if you could choose the ingredients, as there were various options on the menu. Unfortunately, a variant with ham and salami came that I didn't want at all. In addition, the bread was hard and seemed old - something that is disappointing given the price range and the chic presentation of the restaurant. However, a big compliment to the tagliatelle with mushrooms, they were really delicious and saved the culinary experience. Unfortunately, we didn't ask during the meal whether everything was OK or whether we would like something to drink. In the end we waited over half an hour for the bill, which made the overall impression even worse. In total we paid €82 for two people including a starter, main course, dessert and a drink each. However, given the price, we would have expected better service and more care with the dishes.

The ambience of the restaurant also added to the overall experience, with a decor that was both stylish and cozy, perfect for a relaxing meal. We were there for the first time today. Very attentive waiters, apart from that, very well trained. No waiting times from taking the order to serving the drinks and food. Only the dessert took a little longer. But you have to say, there was a lot going on. As an apology, we received these directly on the house, which shouldn't have happened at all. The food we had and opted for fish and prawns was excellent. The white wine spritzer also goes with it. This is rounded off with a small, very well chilled Limocello. Overall grade 1

We went to eat here on the recommendation of a friend and what can I say, we were blown away. We all had the star pizza with mascarpone and I've never had a pizza like that before. The combination was so incredibly delicious. Staff was very friendly and nice. We'd love to come back. Recommend everyone to try it out for themselves.

Top food, very nice staff and in the beautiful old town of Waldshut!

We spent a great summer evening in the VILLA MARTINO restaurant. The service was very attentive and nice. We felt like we were in Bella Italia. Our aperitif, it was a Hugo, was excellent. The bruschettas were excellent and the pizzas were simply delicious. Towards the end of the meal we were surprised with a limoncello. The espresso we ordered was accompanied by a small glass of coffee cream. We thought that was a nice gesture. We really liked the restaurant. We'll be back very soon!!!

Wir sind ab und zu in Waldshut. Durch Zufall sind wir ins "Villa Martino" gekommen. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt, der Service war Perfekt und das Essen hervorragend. Ich hatte einen Rotwein zum Essen bestellt, aber es wurde mir ein Rose gebracht. Anschliessend kam der Chef und hat den Fehler angesprochen, er würde mir einen Rotwein stattdessen bringen. Ich sagte es wäre ok so, der Rose schmecke auch sehr gut. Als es um die Rechnung ging kam der Chef und spendierte uns unter vielen Entschuldigungen je einen Espresso. Ich empfehle dieses Restaurant für Freundlichkeit, Qualität und Feeling

It was a truly wonderful Mediterranean culinary journey for an hour and a half in which I was able to forget everything else. You can speak Italian, English and German with everyone, the drinks (not just the wine list), food and the service are bellissimo, excellent and outstanding, I was between delighted and completely thrilled. I really regret that I didn't have more time You can go here alone, as a couple or with the whole extended family. The food was very tasty and nicely prepared, the quality is very good and the portion is ok. The service is very good and you are looked after wonderfully. The price is already in the upper segment. My wife and I paid €51 for a salad, a pizza and three drinks. The quality justifies the price, but it is still rather upscale. Definitely coming back for dinner

We ate there two days in a row. It was a real treat. Authentic cuisine, excellent service and a price-performance ratio that is pleasantly surprising. Even though we got to know Villa Martino through a vacation, it won't be the last time we were able to have such a fantastic meal there. Keep it up 100%. Actually, a 4 would have been due for eating. The potato side dish was totally over salted. Because the menu was very generous, we shared my fries. The steaks were perfectly cooked. At the end, the house donated dessert without us asking. Thank you to the staff, very friendly and accommodating. Gladly again

We came across the restaurant by chance and we really love it. After we were warmly welcomed and escorted to the table, we were able to browse the menu. The dough for the pizza we ordered was crispy and nice and fluffy on the inside. A real eye-catcher was the dessert, which was served in an espresso pot. Everything was very clean and generally very stylishly furnished. A definite recommendation!

We went tonight with my husband and my children, for them a dish from the children's menu, I would say perfect, they both ate everything. We had a starter, first course and second course, unfortunately I only took photos of the first course but everything was really excellent, especially for us Italians, this is definitely a place where you can find good food. Also excellent aperitif and wine. Welcoming and professional service and staff, very nice place (especially the slightly more sheltered part with very delicate lights where we were). The reservation went smoothly. Staff is friendly and service was good. The food tasted very good. Salad, pizza and dessert were tasty and were also lovingly prepared. I found the pizza base to be very thin. What I didn't like was the table. A two table in the passage. It was very wobbly, you always have to be careful not to knock over the drinks. And unfortunately the glass was broken and I cut my lip. Ambiance is very nice, well done. Public parking spaces are available in a few minutes. And everything was very clean.

Als Antwort auf die kürzliche Beschwerde des Restaurants Villa Martino möchte ich klarstellen, dass meine ursprüngliche Bewertung vom 15. Dezember 2015 auf einem persönlichen Besuch zu dieser Zeit basierte. Trotz der Einwände des Restaurants gegenüber meiner Erfahrung bleibt meine Meinung unverändert und basiert auf diesem Besuch. Ich bin jedoch enttäuscht über die Art und Weise, wie diese Situation gehandhabt wurde, und habe daher meine Bewertung auf einen Stern geändert.

Das war kein Essen sondern ein Erlebnis. Essen Lecker, Personal freundlich und eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Kann ich jedem weiter empfehlen.

Sehr gutes Essen. Preis Leistung gut. Service top. Ambiente in Ordnung. Der kleine Raum im vorderen Bereich ist wunderschön, der große Gastraum hinten jedoch laut und ungemütlich.

Das Essen ist immer sehr gut, die Bedienung flexibel, sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das kleine Gläschen mit dem Softeis zum Kaffee ist eine sehr nette Geste, ebenso der Limoncello. Wenn ich das Haar in der Suppe suchen müsste, das Licht ist sehr grell, am Abend eine Kerze auf dem Tisch und das Licht etwa 2/3 so grell und es wäre perfekt.

Die Teigwaren im tiefen Teller waren bis zuletzt sehr heiss ! Eine tolle Erfahrung ! Das mit dem Wein nachschenken mussten wir übernehmen . Sonst war der Service tadellos . Das Ambiente ist schön ,sauber , eine schöne Rose auf dem Tisch . Gerne wieder .
