Villa Martino Waldshut in Waldshut-Tiengen

Wir sind regelmäßig mit Geschäftspartnern zum Mittagessen im Villa Martino. Service wie immer prima, Essen geschmacklich nichts zu mängeln, stellen wir aber seit einiger Zeit fest, dass die Portionen teilweise sehr viel kleiner geworden sind, v.a. bei Pizzen und einigen Pasta Gerichten. Zudem ist des Preisniveau mittlerweile schon sehr heftig. Das Vitello tonato ist einfach keines, falsches Fleisch, falscher Gargrad….

Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam gegenüber den Bedürfnissen der Kunden, das Essen ist gut, der Fisch frisch, die Vorspeisen reichhaltig und die Pizza ausgezeichnet.

Eines der herausragendsten italienischen Menüs, die ich je gegessen habe – vom Aperitif bis zum Dessert. Unglaublich nette Bedienung, erstklassige, frische Zutaten und ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Masaniello war großartig. Salate, Desserts, einfach alles war fantastisch.

Klare Weiterempfehlung! Sind beim spazieren durch die Stadt an einem Sonntag Nachmittag zufällig auf dieses authentische italienische Restaurant mitten in der Fussgängerzone gestoßen, welches durch seine sehr schöne und einladende Terrasse sehr ansprechend wirkt. Die Tische sind mit weißen Tischdecken und Stoffservietten eingedeckt, was einen hochwertigen Eindruck macht. Der Service war von Anfang bis Ende sehr herzlich, aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein und charmant. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Getränke (Aperol Spritz & Lillet Wildberry) waren frisch zubereitet und sehr spritzig, so wie es sein sollte. Mein Freund und ich haben uns die Vorspeisenplatte mit italienischen Wurst- & Käsespezialitäten geteilt, welche schön angerichtet auf einem Holzbrett serviert wurde. Dazu gab es frisches Brot. Die Portion war großzügig und für uns beide vollkommend ausreichend für den kleinen Hunger. Nach dem Essen wurden uns zwei Limoncello auf’s Haus offeriert. Grazie milie auch nochmal an dieser Stelle! Für mich persönlich war das hausgemachte Tiramisu das Highlight. Luftig, cremig, frisch, eine gute Kaffeenote - wirklich fantastisch! Fazit: wir werden definitiv wiederkommen und freuen uns schon jetzt darauf!

Haben spontan die Villa Martino in Waldshut zum Mittagessen besucht. Das Restaurant liegt schön innerhalb der Kaiserstraße und ist daher perfekt gelegen um während einen Einkaufsbummels eine Pause einzulegen. Preis & Leistung haben uns jedoch leider genauso wie beim Ablegen in Bad Säckingen nur wenig überzeugt. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Als mir der Salat für 16Euro Serviert wurde dachte ich zuerst das man vergessen hätte das Brot mit einzudecken. Der Keller streckte mir freudestrahlend ein kleines Tütchen mit 2 magern Brotscheiben entgegen. Das mag zwar für die Gastro so besser zu kalkulieren und auch für meine Kalorienbilanz ist es erfreulich. Jedoch war das auch schon meine erste Enttäuschung. Der Salat war schön angerichtet und auch lecker. Aber wenn ich 50g Putenfleisch auf dem Teller hatte dann mag das viel gewesen sein. Auch mein Hauptgang enttäuschte mich, mir persönlich war die Pizza zu wässrig/ölig. Für 14Euro hätte ich da mehr erwartet aber das ist auch Geschmackssache. Für 1Aperol, 1x Wasser , 2x Vorspeise und 2x Pizza haben wir mit 10% Trinkgeld 75Euro bezahlt. Es ist immer wieder schön neue Erfahrungen zu machen. Daher werden wir mit Sicherheit erst mal andere Restaurants in Waldshut besuchen. Neue Stammkunden konnte dieses Lokal nicht gewinnen.

Ansich ein schönes Restaurant, jedoch entsprich das Essen nicht den 4.8 Sternen. Ich habe zur Vorspeise den Fenchelsalat mit Blutorangen bestellt und zum Hauptgang das Vitello Tonnato. Der Fenchel war nicht mariniert, hatte keine Sauce, nur Olivenöl, kein Salz war dem entsprechend Okay. Die "Blutorangen" waren erstens normale Oragnen was nicht kommuniziert wurde und von geschält war difinitiv nicht die Rede. Nicht essbar ohne sie selber noch einmal von der Schale zu befreien. Das Vitello Tonnato war weit weg von "Rosa" (wie es auf der Karte beschriebn war), leider wurde auch das falsche Fleischstück dafür gewählt. Die Vorspeisen kamen vor dem Getränk und die Vorspeisenteller wurden nicht abgeträumt bis der Hauptgang kam.

Ein großartiges Restaurant! Wir waren zu sechst und alle Gerichte waren hervorragend! Die Pizza schmeckte wie eine echte neapolitanische Pizza, die Steaks waren zart und saftig. Von den Getränken bis zum Dessert – alles top. Vielen Dank an unseren Kellner David und an den stellvertretenden Küchenchef Andrei!

war mit einer freudin spontan dort und wir wurden extrem komisch behandelt man hatte das gefühl das die mitarbeiter uns nicht da haben wollte und zu den anderen waren sie ganz normal denke man sollte als ausländer mit dünklerer haut nicht dort hin gehen habe sowas noch nie erlebt und werde nicht mehr dort hin gehen das essen war jedoch super.

Die Location ist sehr schön und nach italienischem Geist eingerichtet. Das Personal ist stets freundlich und das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Die napoletanische Pizza ist auch extrem gut, aber auch Fleisch, Fisch und Pasta sind Qualitativ sehr hoch und lecker.

Wir waren heute am Muttertag mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern in der Villa Martino zum Abendessen und wir waren von der Atmosphäre und dem Service sehr enttäuscht. Der Kellner kam an den Tisch und wollte die Getränke und auch direkt das Essen aufnehmen er wirkte sehr gestresst und ließ uns nicht in Ruhe das Essen auswählen . Als wir sagten das wir noch nicht soweit sind mit der Auswahl unserer Essen blieb er am Tisch stehen und fragte immer wieder was wir jetzt essen wollen. Ich sagte dann zu ihm das ich gerne noch kurz warten würde mit bestellen weil ich noch nicht weiss was ich essen möchte . Seine Antwort war das das nicht geht weil er die Bestellung jetzt abschicken muss und ich sonst länger warten muss. Ich habe dann einfach eine Pizza ausgewählt ohne das ich die Karte fertig durchgelesen hatte. Sehr unangenehm. Eine Umbestellung vom Kinderessen von Chicken Nuggets mit Pommes auf Chicken Nuggets mit Nudeln war nicht möglich. wir mussten dann eine zusätzliche Portion Nudeln bestellen und für diese 6€ bezahlen. 6€ für zwei Löffel Spaghetti ohne Sauce. Wir werden dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen.

Wir feierten an einem Samstag einen "grossen" Geburtstag mit 10 Personen. Wir sassen draussen an der prallen ☀️. Es war jetzt im Mai aber aushaltbar; die meisten genossen sogar die Wärme. Der Service war sehr gut und der Arbeit entsprechend aufmerksam. Die Napolitanischen Pizze 🍕 waren OK, den meisten fehlte die Knusprigkeit, optisch und gescmacklich waren sie jedoch topp! Ich bestellte mir ein grosses Steak (saignant/englisch) mit Pfeffersauce und Tagliatelle. Jetzt weiss ich, was ich hier nie wieder bestellen werde 🤔, denn für "Suppenfleisch" ist mir dieses Fleisch zu schade. Zusammengefasst halte ich fest, es war ein gelungener Abend und wir hatten viel Spass 🎊

Wir kehrten aufgrund der guten Bewertungen im Villa Martino zum Abendessen ein. Es war eine Enttäuschung, aber mal ehrlich: Das war doch italienische Küche! Tiefkühlfisch, mit Margarine gewürzt. Wir hatten eine Meeresfrüchte-Vorspeise mit einer riesigen Fleischbällchen, die uns fast die Zähne ausgebissen hätte, und einer Muschel darin. Ich glaube nicht, dass wir wiederkommen.

Seit über drei Jahren kommen wir immer wieder ins Villa Martino und jedes Mal bestätigt sich unser Eindruck: Für uns gibt es hier die beste Pizza weit und breit. Die Auswahl ist abwechslungsreich und unglaublich lecker (auch wenn wir meistens beim gleichen Gericht bleiben, ganz unsere eigene „Schuld“ 😄). Der Service ist herausragend: aufmerksam, herzlich und stets zuvorkommend, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Man fühlt sich einfach rundum wohl und willkommen. Auch das Ambiente überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Innen stilvoll und gemütlich, mit angenehmer Akustik selbst bei voller Auslastung. Im Sommer sitzen wir besonders gerne draußen, trotz Lage in der Einkaufsstraße ist es entspannt, und genau dieser lebendige Flair macht für uns den besonderen Reiz aus. Ob mit Familie, Freunden oder auch mal alleine: Für uns ist das Villa Martino immer eine sichere Wahl. Absolute Empfehlung!

Freundliches Personal und angenehmes Ambiente. Wir hatten Lasagne und Ravioli, die sehr lecker waren. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Essen war fantastisch! Ich war schon ein paar Mal hier und komme immer wieder gerne. Die Steaks sind phänomenal. Wir wurden von Adi bedient, einem supernetten Kerl, bei dem wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Vielen Dank, Adi, und vielen Dank an Villa Martino!

Wir waren jetzt schon zum zweiten Mal dort und leider erneut nicht zufrieden. Der Service war nicht optimal und die Pizzen haben uns geschmacklich auch nicht überzeugt. Bisher waren wir immer in Bad Säckingen – dort stimmt für uns einfach alles: das Essen, der Service und auch das Ambiente.

Prime location in the heart of the town of Waldshut, beautiful ambience, first-class Italian specialties and top-notch service.

Very fine food and good, fast service.

Unassuming from the outside, the restaurant reveals itself inside as a modern, spacious venue with a very tasteful ambiance – right down to the impeccably maintained restrooms. A particularly charming touch: upon entering, you're immediately greeted by a view into the open kitchen. The menu promises authentic, high-quality ingredients, a promise that is absolutely fulfilled on the plate. The cold platter with cheese, sausage, and vitello tonnato was excellent. A true highlight is the "star pizza": the dough is wonderfully moist, filled with mascarpone, and topped with first-class ham – a definite recommendation! They could have been a bit more generous with the Parmesan, though. The chocolate cake with pistachios for dessert was also delicious, although the center could have been a touch more gooey for my taste. One minor drawback was the service: since we were served by three different waiters using different notepads (iPad vs. notepad), there were some communication errors. So, our main courses were served while we were still in the middle of our appetizers. But since a cold platter can't get cold, we put it aside and continued eating after the pizza. So everything was relaxed ;) The evening was rounded off with a complimentary limoncello. Quality comes at a price here, but because of the high-quality products, the restaurant is absolutely recommendable.

We've been to Waldshut many times, but after today we regret never having eaten here before. Our meal was fantastic, beautifully presented, and the two waiters were very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is lovely; we felt comfortable from the very beginning. This is exactly how I imagine authentic Italian food should be. They even had gluten-free pasta. We will definitely be back.

A spontaneous and delightful discovery. Located right in the heart of Waldshut's pedestrian zone, with plenty of space both inside and out. The staff was very attentive, friendly, and competent. The wood-fired "Ortolana" pizza was generously topped, and the Moretti beer was deliciously cold. The prices were absolutely fair. A real gem at the foot of the Black Forest!

After three unsuccessful attempts to get a table, I finally managed to reserve one. Naturally, my expectations were high, especially given the Google rating... But unfortunately, I was disappointed. It's okay, but nothing more...

How can I put it? It almost doesn't matter what you order. It's simply amazing. I only give this place out extremely rarely. But it's more than deserved. Reservations are essential!

Overall, it was a decent visit. Unfortunately, the risotto ai frutti di mare and the fritturina mista were a bit too salty. The risotto al tartufo nero was also undercooked – a risotto should be creamy, not grainy. A shame, because it definitely had potential flavor-wise. We'll still give it another chance.

We had dinner at this lovely restaurant and can highly recommend it.... Anyone in Germany who wants a taste of Italy should definitely go to this restaurant... We were treated to excellent food, from the aperitif to the appetizer and the main course – everything was delicious 😋 For a sweet finish, we had a limoncello...and with our espresso, a sweet coffee ice cream 🫶🥰 Our two dogs also felt very welcome and comfortable and had plenty of space... A wonderful wedding day with outstanding service! We celebrated my parents' wedding anniversary here, and it was a truly lovely afternoon. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was incredibly pleasant. A huge thank you to the staff, especially Ary: so attentive, child-friendly, and always with a smile – you immediately feel welcome! What was particularly great was that hospitality is truly valued here. They offered complimentary Limoncello, and a Cremino was always served with the espresso. We will definitely be back. We were there for a Christmas party, and I have to say it wasn't exactly a highlight. The service was pleasant, friendly, and very attentive. The food wasn't as amazing as we'd hoped. There was an appetizer plate for those with meat, and the vegetarian option was tomato and mozzarella – I expected more. They also offer vegetarian antipasti. The main course was entrecote with four potato wedges, which were supposed to be with rosemary (but were nowhere to be found), and a bit of peppercorn sauce. Unfortunately, there was no garnish or any vegetables – a real shame, very unimaginative. The vegetarian option was ravioli with ricotta, which were very good. Dessert was a chocolate cake, unfortunately underbaked. It was supposed to have a molten center, but it could have been done better. For some, the center had completely melted. Perhaps I'll come again privately and be pleasantly surprised. But I wouldn't hold another Christmas party there.

They have the best homemade pizzas and pastas for us. The pizza is so good that it almost hurts to leave the crust. I can't praise the ravioli enough – they're a highlight every time! The salad is also fresh and crisp, with a dressing that's simply amazing. The restaurant is incredibly child-friendly, the staff is warm and attentive, and they truly cater to every need. It's also in a great central location with plenty of parking, which makes visiting even more convenient. And let's not forget the excellent value for money. It's quite popular, so we always make a reservation to guarantee a table. A place where you immediately feel at home – and our absolute favorite restaurant! ❤️

I was truly surprised at the quality of this whole establishment! I ordered Spaghetti with Seafood with some Bruschetta as an Antipasto. The tomatoes on the Bruschetta were absolutely delicious, fresh and intense in their taste. They were very generous with the seafood (and the variety in seafood was amazing), really making the main meal taste like authentic Italian cuisine. The sauce for the pasta was delicious and the portion was quite big. All in all, it was an amazing dining experience, so I really recommend this restaurant with full confidence!

A great Italian restaurant near Switzerland where you can eat very well and at reasonable prices. It's worth it.

As an Italian, I can say that this is the only restaurant that makes me feel truly at home. The food is excellent, the staff is incredibly kind. Today in particular, a young waiter offered my mom a slice of cake because he found out it was her birthday. Thank you so much to all the staff, I'm always so satisfied. 👍👍👍

Literally the best Italian restaurant I have ever been! You can’t go wrong with any meal from the menu, as pasta, pizza, as well as meat are tastefully prepared! Everything was absolutely amazing. The pizza was delicious and the dough was divine. The only thing I didn't like was that one waiter, who was probably new, cleared the plates even though someone at the table was still eating. The other waiters were very friendly and very nice and always asked if everything was okay. But otherwise, everything was great.
