Today we reserved a table online for 9:30 p.m. When we wanted to go through to our table, we were greeted very unfriendly by the waiter, we were rushed at the table and only had 1 minute to decide on a dish. It was repeatedly suggested to us that we were not welcome because the kitchen was closing soon. According to the waiter, both the online reservation and the online card are invalid! We were made fun of because we followed the menu when ordering. I left Diesel Lokal with a really bad feeling, I've never been treated so unkindly in the restaurant! We won't be coming back!

Had to wait 35 minutes for a glass of water and pointed out several times beforehand that we didn't get any drinks. Ordered fried rice which was ice cold. There were only five tables occupied so it wasn't busy. Too bad

We were in Bonn for one night and came across the restaurant by chance. We had udon noodles and bun bo nam bo and were both really happy with the food! The only small drawback regarding the service was that the starter came after the main course. Otherwise we absolutely recommend it!

We were your guests on Saturday with four people. It seems that there are some changes to your restaurant, including a new menu. I found this to be very confusing. In the past we have always been very satisfied with the service, unfortunately we cannot say the same for our visit on Saturday. One drink (out of four) was served very late and only after asking twice. There were also problems with the food. If you order with four people, it should arrive at approximately the same time. In addition, a dish had to be returned because it did not correspond to the order. Unfortunately I had to revise my rating downwards. Older review: The food is still good, but the prices have been adjusted upwards with the new menu. In our opinion the portions have become a little smaller. But everything is fine, this size is still completely sufficient. Good food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff, good service without a long waiting time. Cash only

I was there with a friend and we really enjoyed it. We had reserved a table and were then able to choose a table that we liked. The food was very tasty and the atmosphere was really nice, the shop is very nicely furnished and decorated (not as sterile as some other shops). We felt very comfortable there. The service was also very nice and helpful. We can only recommend it and have been there several times. Price-performance ratio is also great.

So far we have always been thrilled. Unfortunately there has probably been a change of ownership here. Chaotic service, quality of food not so good anymore. Smaller menu. We don't know yet whether we'll come back 🤷🏻‍♀️

We often come here from the Ruhr area because the food tastes really original, just like in Vietnam! The service is top and has a pleasant and great sense of humor and is incredibly attentive and polite. With all the bamboo, the restaurant is one of the most beautiful Asian restaurants I know. A visit is absolutely worth it! Keep it up!

We were there spontaneously. And I have to say, we were not disappointed! Incredibly friendly & attentive service - the food was sensational ;-) Of course, you could get upset about the fact that only cash payment is required or the ambience is a bit “old school”... but seriously: rating the restaurant negatively because of this is a “no-go”! We had a great evening! Thank you very much, we recommend you and will definitely come back!!

We wanted to eat here, but when we arrived we saw a sign that said “Cash only! “Only cash is truth”. Completely outdated and unprofessional. You might be able to understand this in a small snack bar, but not in a restaurant. So we left again because we didn't feel like looking for an ATM.

NOT VEGAN / NOT VEGAN Unfortunately, despite the allergen menu, neither the menu nor the staff can be trusted when specifically asking about vegan and gluten-free options. Because the GF variants obviously contained wheat products, which was not declared and only visible on the plate. Although many of the dishes are declared GF or vegan, we unfortunately also discovered that the Pho contains cooked bones. This was only admitted after trying it and after repeated requests. Apparently customers complained about the inauthentic taste of the actually vegan version. (Selling dishes that contain meat products as supposedly vegan seems more ethically justifiable). We were neither offered a replacement nor a refund, with the explanation that the staff would have to pay for the damage themselves... there should be significant improvements here. The first and last time I ate here - a shame.

We wanted to eat locally. We are mom, dad and our severely disabled child in a wheelchair. As soon as we walked in we were stared at as we held the door open to get in with our wheelchair. Don't think the lady at the counter made any attempt to help. From her look it was very clear that we were not welcome. Accordingly, we were assigned a table that was far too small for three people in wheelchairs. When we asked, we were given another table, but noticeably reluctantly. After we finally sat down, more guests arrived. Got their table, were given a card and cutlery while we were completely ignored. We left at some point. Disabled people are clearly not welcome in this establishment. It's sad when minorities diss other minorities.

We've been there several times and it's always been really tasty. The food and drinks are lovingly prepared and the service is always very nice and courteous. You just have to think about cash :)

My husband and I have been here several times. A nice restaurant with nothing to complain about so far. However, that changes this evening. The drinks came relatively quickly. Afterwards, however, we were unpleasantly surprised when we had to wait an hour for the tapas platter. The delivery service kept coming to pick up orders. The restaurant wasn't even half full, some were sitting outside. 2 waiters and one at the bar. When the starters came we were a bit annoyed, but good. Something like that can happen. But when we had to wait another half to three quarters of an hour for our main course, we started to feel bad. When the food arrived, we ordered drinks straight away, which arrived after we had already finished the main course. When I pointed out that our drinks were still missing, the waitress from whom we ordered the drinks asked us what they were. We got our drinks relatively quickly. We also noticed that a family of 3 people had ordered the same thing (the tapas) and received them after about 10 minutes, so we weren't thrilled either. I understand that in a busy store, things like this can happen. But not when the store isn't even half full. The waiters kept walking past our table instead of taking the dishes with them, even though they were seen. That's additional work, steps that could be saved. Accordingly, something like this leaves a bitter aftertaste. We've enjoyed coming here so far, but sometimes once is too much.

The food was super delicious. Price is very good... I can only recommend it

We ordered via Lieferando, after waiting for over an hour our order was canceled without comment.

Unfortunately, many dishes were not in stock and not all of the dishes on the menu were known to the waitress. Overall, not the best Vietnamese cuisine, but still friendly and tasty! You can't go wrong there.

I was warmly welcomed into the restaurant and the food I ordered (Bun Cha) was the best thing I have ever eaten in Bonn. Can only recommend.

Unfortunately only cash payment possible! Strange with such high prices? Ambiance is relaxed. Food is ok and plate is well filled.

We spontaneously had dinner at the Vietnam Deli and were overall satisfied. The menu is varied and also offers many options for vegetarians. The ambience of the restaurant is a bit dated, but it is typical of a Vietnamese eatery and has its own charm. Everything was clean and tidy. The food tasted good and the price-performance ratio was right. A little more seasoning would have benefited the dish, and the friendly staff could have been more attentive. Overall, a good place for a spontaneous dinner.

I'll never eat here again. Once the service was bad, the waiter was not friendly. But because the food is delicious, I come anyway. And today when I passed by, I wanted to use the toilet, it wasn't given to me even though I wanted to pay because it was only there for customers. Bad hospitality!

Die Qualität der Speisen ist auf jeden Fall sehr gut. Aber man muss wissen: nur Barzahlung möglich, ständig wechselnde Speisekarte und Personal. Man hat immer das Gefühl, dass das Lokal nicht legal geführt wird. Die Bedienung ist oft (nicht immer) chaotisch und die Verständigung schwierig. Neueste Erfahrung war laute Musik, wie in einem Club. Das passt nicht in dieses Ambiente. Wir werden nach Alternativen suchen.

Came here for lunch on a quiet April Sunday. The restaurant only had a few dinners but is beautifully set out. I had the Han Oi Pho which contained a good mix of ingredients - 14€90. Restaurant is Cash only.

I spontaneously went there for lunch this afternoon. It was my first time eating Vietnamese and I have to say it was really tasty. I can definitely recommend the deli. Very nice staff, very attentive and friendly. The lunch selection was enough and what I chose was very, very tasty. The portion size was right, not too much and not too little. The only small criticism would perhaps be that there was no dressing on the decorative salad that was on the plate. That was a shame, it would definitely have tasted better with dressing. The price was absolutely reasonable. I will definitely stop by in the evening and try other things from the menu. Thank you for the nice lunch

Last week we ordered several dishes with delivery. What was a "pleasant" surprise when I pulled out of the soup a dirty napkin that was lying on the floor or on the ground. I was horrified just HOW CAN THIS HAVE BEEN IN THE FOOD? What if other food is treated the same way? Disgusting.

They came to take our order 15 minutes after we sat down at the table. They served the cocktail for 20 minutes. It felt like they forgot about it, because I reminded them that the food was brought 30 minutes after ordering. That is, we received the food almost an hour after we arrived at the restaurant. I didn't like the food. But this is a matter of taste... I asked for a charger, they immediately answered me sternly that they didn’t have it... Although the girl didn’t even try to help me. But the cocktail was delicious. But I won't return to this place again.

Attention allergy sufferers and vegans! The menu is absolutely not up to date when it comes to allergens, so please ask. Several dishes described on the menu as vegetarian or vegan contain beef broth, fish sauce or fish by-products. After a long time back and forth, the very friendly employee was able to give me precise information and the food was good so far and no allergic reaction afterwards. Nevertheless, legally you are not allowed to give out such a menu and you can only pay in cash there. Therefore 2 stars deducted.

Cannot recommend. I ordered a red curry with noodles and duck. My request to make it a little hotter was politely denied. The food came just a few minutes after the order. The red curry sauce wasn't even properly mixed with the noodles. There was a big lump of dry, sauceless noodles on the bottom. Taking together their inability to even change the spiciness, the little time it took them to prepare the food and the quality of the result, I suspect there is no real cooking happening and the food is just heated up convenience food. I'm not paying 18€ for what I assume is a microwave dish. Service was very friendly, but they do not take any cards and even ask you to come to the counter with the cash register to pay your meal in cash only.

Went there with 20 people (pre-registered). Divided into two tables, the first group received drinks and food promptly after 20 minutes. The second table had to wait 1.5 hours (!), sometimes also for the drinks (!!!). Payment only in cash is probably completely out of date. Udon were still tasty.

Very tasty Vietnamese dishes. Both vegans and meat lovers get a good selection of dishes. Because the restaurant also delivers and offers meals to pick up, the delivery drivers from Wolt and Lieferando lend a helping hand. Depending on where you sit, that can really kill the atmosphere. The waiters were also not on the ball when there were empty glasses on our table and only took action when we called our attention. In addition, I think it is absolutely out of date to only offer cash payments. This should urgently be improved.

Visiting Vietnam Deli was largely a positive experience. The Kawa cocktail, priced at 7.6 Euros, was delicious and refreshing, making a great start to the meal. On the other hand, the Scorpion cocktail, at the same price, was overly bitter and sour, which might not suit everyone's taste. The main dish, Duck in Yellow, priced at 27.9 Euros, was tasty but not as spicy as promised by the menu, which could be a slight disappointment for those expecting a bit of heat. The ambiance of the place was pleasant, and the staff were friendly, contributing to an overall enjoyable experience. In principle, everything was satisfactory.

Spacious Vietnamese and Southeast Asian fusion restaurant. Can't say Thai dishes we ordered were authentic but they tasted very nice. The service was a tad slow but the waiting staff was friendly.

I recently had a spontaneous meal there with my girlfriend. The atmosphere is really cozy and the staff were very friendly to us. The menu leaves nothing to be desired and the food I ordered was a dream! The starter Bò lá lôt was particularly noteworthy. According to my friend, these taste like home. That definitely wasn't the last time we ate there! Price-performance ratio was great. Next time I would like to pay by card😉

We often ordered via Uber Eats. And were always completely satisfied with the food. We ordered today and unfortunately the order arrived incomplete. Two of three main courses are missing. The dressing is missing for the flat rice noodles with salad. Unfortunately, the food will not be delivered to us later. According to the restaurant, the money will be refunded to us. The supplier cannot be reached. None of this solves the current problem and hunger. Unfortunately very disappointing.

Ich bin zufällig vorbei gekommen und da ich gerade hungrig war habe ich mich spontan reingesetzt. Ich wurde sofort freundlich begrüßt und von Linh zu meinem Tisch begleitet. Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfangreich und es gibt sogar eine Menge vegane Gerichte, egal ob Vorspeise, Suppe oder Hauptgericht. Die Portionen sind zumindest was die Hauptgerichte angeht sehr ordentlich, davon sollte man auf jeden Fall satt werden. Ansonsten gibt’s ja noch eine ganze Menge Vorspeisen, die ich beim nächsten mal definitiv probieren werde. Preislich war das ganze auch in Ordnung. Für ein Hauptgericht und einen selbstgemachten Iced Tea habe ich ca. 20€ gezahlt.

Wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden! Der Kellner Long war glaube ich sein Name war der beste den wir bisher hatten weil er wirklich extrem nett und hilfreich war!

Zwei No go's: 1. Essen kam unterschiedlich,meins nachdem meine Frau mit ihrem fertig war, generell wirkte der Service am Samstag Abend,voller Laden, überfordert 2.keine Kartenzahlung Ansonsten leckeres,frisches Essen in einem netten Ambiente!

Pho war lecker. Konnte ich leider nicht essen, aber auch nur weil ich unfähig bin Suppen vernünftig zu essen. Habe häufig gekleckert 😔 Yellow Lemongrass Curry ist sehr zu empfehlen. Gegenüber hat die Zähne leider runtergeknirscht, dementsprechend schwierig zu essen. Aber keine Kritik an Koch. Sehr empfehlenswert! Linh war sehr freundlich.

Im Restaurant essen ist deutlich besser als wenn man bestellt. Vor Ort sind ist der Service sehr gut & die Portionen, sodass man Satt wird. Bei Uber Bestellungen sind die Getränke mit in der Box und dadurch werden sie warm. Notizen zum Essen werden nicht beachtet.

Ich habe noch nie sowas leckeres gegessen. Das Essen ist 100% frisch und einfach nur perfekt. Ich werde regelmäßig hier bestellen. Mir fehlen die Worte, es ist soooo unfassbar gut!

Wir waren hier nach unserer Standesamtlichen Hochzeit mit 18 Personen essen und sind direkt super freundlich empfangen worden. Wir hatten eine lange Tafel für uns und auch wenn das Lokal recht groß ist hat es sich privat angefühlt weil wir eine ganze Ecke für uns hatten. Die Atmosphäre ist wirklich toll, die Bedienung war zügig und freundlich, das Essen war super lecker und kam schnell. Wir hatten drei VeganerInnen und fünf VegetarierInnen dabei und für alle gab es eine große Auswahl, etwas was uns sehr wichtig war. Auf der Fensterbank hatten wir außerdem Platz für die Hochzeitsgeschenke und wir haben schnell eine Vase für den Hochzeitsstrauß bekommen. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt dass wir von halb 4 bis halb 11 geblieben sind. Eindeutige Empfehlung :) Nachtrag: Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass man hier nur bar bezahlen kann! Wir haben etwa 850€ gezahlt (für 18 Personen und 7 Stunden).

Sehr leckeres Essen und die selbst gemachten Ice Teas sind top. Preislich auch völlig ok. Leider schien die Heizung nicht zu funktionieren und es war sehe kalt.

Wir waren an einem Sonntagabend da, das Restaurant war fast leer. Es war ziemlich kalt im Restaurant, sodass wir unsere Winterjacken erst nach einem Heißgetränk ausziehen mochten. Die Beleuchtung war leider auch grell und ungemütlich. Der Service war schlecht, die Bedienung sprach nur gebrochen deutsch, sodass es schon bei der Bestellung zu zwei Missverständnissen kam, eines wurde sofort von uns bemerkt und konnte aufgeklärt werden, das andere leider erst, als das falsche Hauptgericht gebracht wurde. Das Essen kam vor den Getränken, Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen zusammen, dass meine Hauptspeise schon etwas kalt war, nachdem ich mit der Vorspeise fertig war. Das Essen war ok, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis auch. Die Bedienung hat sich den ganzen Abend über kaum um uns gekümmert, wir saßen lange vor unseren schmutzigen Tellern, für weitere Getränkebestellungen mussten wir nach vorne laufen. Auch Kartenzahlung war an diesem Abend nicht möglich und das scheint dauerhaft so zu sein. Eine von uns musste spät abends bei Eis und Schnee zu Fuß zum nächsten Geldautomaten laufen, es gab keinen mündlichen Hinweis vor der Bestellung und das kleine Schild am Eingang ist leicht zu übersehen, vor allem wenn es dunkel ist und schneit. Fazit: Es gibt in Bonn gemütlichere Vietnamesen mit viel besserem Essen und deutlich besserem Service.

Sehr leckeres Essen, das Mal vorweg. Service ist allerdings leider nur mäßig und an unserem Platz zog es sehr kalt durch ein undichtes Fenster. Aber die größte Enttäuschung: man kann nicht mit Karte zahlen. Sorry, das kann ich nicht verstehen! Der Laden ist durchdigitalisiert bis zum letzten aber das geht nicht? Das hinterlässt mal wieder einen faden Beigeschmack!

Very cozy restaurant for lunch and even a dinner date. Beautiful decoration and super clean. Good food and as a Vietnamese living in Germany, the food is very close to our original taste. Friendly and helpful staff.

Tasty foods and drinks but accept cash only. I didn’t like sesame seeds on my rice but ate it anyway because the restaurant was so busy and I didn’t want to wait for a new plate. Not enough staff as busy on both nights I was there this week, need more staff as they do a lot of delivery too. Good location opposite a big hotel.

Der Service ist leider unbeschreiblich schlecht. Wir kamen mit NeoTaste und auf die Fragen ob wir die Suppen zum mitnehmen haben können hat die Frau hinterm Tresen uns ausgelacht. Naja dann haben wir dort gegessen und die Pho Suppe war auch sehr lecker aber leider ohne Koriander und Sprossen. Außerdem haben wir nur ein winziges Stück Limette bekommen. Als wir die Bedienung nach Sojasauce fragen, blieb sie erstmal ewig verschwunden bis sie uns dann irgendwann mitteilte dass (ihr Asiatisches Restaurant ) keine Sojasauce hat und hat sich weg gedreht und ist gegangen… als wir die beiden Suppen nicht schafften haben sie sie wieder willig und SEHR langsam eingepackt bis wir unsere Bahn verpassten… also Essen war gut aber leider VIEL zu teuer und der Service ist leider wirklich sehr sehr schlecht..

Das Essen ist wirklich gut, ABER - ein sehr unaufmerksamer Service - die offensive Ablehnung von Karzenzahlungen und -grenzwertig dreckige Sanitäre Anlagen lassen keine höhere Bewertung zu.

Ich war heute das fünfte mal dort. Das Essen, wie immer, sehr lecker. Ambiente sehr authentisch. Preisleistungsverhältnis auch gut. Allerdings der Service lässt leider wirklich zu wünschen übrig . Bei allen fünf mal egal, ob zu zweit, zu viert oder zu acht, ob am Wochenende oder in der Woche oder vollbesetzt oder nicht, der Service ist einfach mangelhaft. Man bekommt Karten und Besteck lieblos gesammelt auf den Tisch gelegt. Nach einiger Zeit wird die Bestellung aufgenommen und dann kommt schnell oder weniger schnell das Essen. Danach passiert wirklich nichts mehr. Man wird nicht gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, ob man noch was trinken möchte (man sitzt mehrere Stunden mit einem leeren Glas dort) und es wird auch nicht der Tisch abgeräumt. Selbst wenn wenig los war, hatte man Schwierigkeiten Blickkontakt aufzubauen. Die Reaktionen darauf kamen auch sehr unmotiviert rüber. Zahlung auch nur in Bar möglich. Alles in allem werden wir zukünftig nur noch bestellen und nicht mehr vor Ort essen gehen, da man sich nicht willkommen fühlt.

Essen ist ja wirklich super, aber Service gibt es nicht. Hab noch nie zuvor so viel Desinteresse an Gästen erlebt. Karten und Besteck werden einfach gestapelt auf den Tisch gelegt. Dann passiert 20 Minuten nichts und man muss fragen ob man was bestellen kann. Leere Gläser, Teller bleiben stehen und man wird nicht gefragt ob man noch was haben mag. Dabei war das Restaurant Samstag Abend recht leer. Lief an allen Tischen so ab. 3x mit Abstand dort gewesen , aber immer identische Erfahrung. Man fühlt sich unerwünscht. Werde trotz des guten Essen nicht mehr hin.

Wir waren zu sechs Personen mittags dort essen, Anlass war ein Geburtstag. Wir gehen gerne Vietnamesisch essen, und wollten nun diesen in der Innenstadt mal ausprobieren. Uns geht es wirklich vorrangig um das Essen selber und die Freundlichkeit, dass man sich einfach wohlfühlt für die 1-1,5 Stunden, die man da ist. Wir waren zu sechst, wir hatten alle Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen. Vom Niveau des Essens, der Optik und des Geschmacks nicht besser als ein asiatischer Imbiss, mehr nicht. Das war schon etwas ernüchternd, da die Preise durchaus nicht einem Imbiss entsprachen. Zur Bezahlung musste man nach vorne gehen, man konnte nicht am Tisch bezahlen, was auch eher nach Imbiss wirkt für mich, als nach Restaurant. Dann bei der Rechnung von rund 160,- für uns 6 beim Zücken der Bankkarte die Aussage "wir nehmen nur Barzahlung". Auf Rückfrage "was wirklich?" wurde die Bedienung unfreundlich und erhob die Stimme "JA, WIR NEHMEN NUR BARZAHLUNG!". Sodass ich Familie und Freunde sitzen lassen musste und zur nächstgelegenen Bank marschieren (Sparkasse am Suttner Platz, ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg). Insg. war ich 20 min. weg, da wir ja ursprünglich gerade gehen wollten ziemlich ärgerlich. Ich wollte dir Stimmung aber nicht verderben, blieb die ganz Zeit freundlich und habe dann cash bezahlt. Natürlich hätte ich bei Tischreservierung fragen können, allerdings hatte ich bei einem Restaurant damit nicht gerechnet, es kam auch kein Hinweis darauf am Telefon bei Reservierung für 6, und online hatte ich auf der Website dazu auch nichts gelesen. Schließlich hat jeder von uns höflich auf Wiedersehen gesagt zu der Dame, von ihr kam nichts. Das war das erste und letzte Mal Vietnam Deli für uns. Essen mau und für die Qualität überteuert (alles in Soja ertränkt, Fleischanteil in Fleischgerichten sehr gering und dann trocken/zäh etc.). Und die Gastfreundlichkeit... naja.

Рідко пишу несхвальні відгуки але це саме той випадок, коли я не можу рекомендувати цей заклад. Їжа і цінова політика не є адекватною. Локшина і вода не повинна носити назву - Суп. Не рекомендую.

Essen war richtig lecker, Atmosphäre ist auch ganz angenehmen

Nice meal . But when I asked for a glass of tap water ( having already had 2 glasses of wine ) I was told they don’t HAVE tap water !!!! Well to be honest I’d rather die of dehydration after the quite salty meal than pay €3.90 for a glass of water !!!!

Gutes Essen, wenig aufmerksamer und überforderter Service, mäßiges Ambiente und nur Barzahlung möglich.

Essen:schlechte Qualität der Zutaten,jedoch recht lecker zubereitet.Service:Nett und bemüht aber völlig überfordert. Ambiente: Null,Fliegenfriedhof auf der Fensterbank der Boden klebte ,falls dieses Restaurant eine Reinigungskraft hat ist sie wahrscheinlich sehbehindert. Drei Sterne ist ser wohlwollend bewertet.

Sehr leckere Gerichte, gutes Mittagsangebot für 10,50€! Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Man kann auch draußen sitzen.
