A nice little restaurant with very good, authentic Vietnamese cuisine at moderate prices, highly recommended!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing I was truly disappointed with my visit to the Hanoi Ecke in Bonn. The mango curry was bland and made with far too much cream. The tea was served in a tiny cup – the value for money isn't right at all. The service was particularly unpleasant: With a bill of €17.30, the owner refused to give change on €20. Only after I insisted did I get back less than the correct amount (only about €2.20). The frustration was almost too much for me. Overall, a very disappointing experience – I unfortunately can't recommend this place.

Authenticity is lived here. Food, service, simply everything. And the value for money is really good.

We were served the "Takoyaki" appetizer (squid in wrapped balls), which were completely frozen inside. When we reported this to the waitress, she didn't even have the decency to listen to us, but continued to talk on her personal phone while "serving" us. When we said we didn't want any more takoyaki, they still brought us a new plate and tried to charge us for it afterward, even though we repeatedly stated that we didn't want any more. The mango curry plate also resulted in persistent stomach problems and diarrhea the next day... Not recommended.

The food was delicious, and I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for the best Asian food in Bonn. However, the restaurant was a bit cold because the door opened easily whenever someone passed by, so the inside wasn’t very warm. I would have liked it more if the place was warmer, had better restroom facilities, and accepted card payments not just cash!!

I ordered the traditional Pho soup. Unfortunately, it was served without fresh chilies. When I asked, I was referred to a chili sauce from the supermarket. I also asked for more coriander, which I received after asking again. The soup was also very salty. The restroom (hygiene) also needs improvement. Overall, I was disappointed.

Unfortunately, it's really bad. The curry was great, which is why it gets two stars. But we ordered vegetarian gyozas and got meat ones. They also brought us two gyozas. When we already had ours, we said the second time that we already had ours, so we probably had another table's meat gyozas and the second ones were ours. Our glass noodle dish was burnt. After I mentioned the meat and was told that it couldn't be and that it was tofu (it wasn't), I didn't even mention my burnt face. For the first time in my life, I didn't tip. Very disappointing.

Portions are big and prices are quite reasonable. Food is tasty. the only disturbing thing is the payment with cash only. However there is an ATM right across the street. All in all, tasty and fast.

Very tasty food and good price/ratio

First things first: the food was okay. Nothing earth-shattering, but not bad either; worth a visit. However, the service was abysmal. Four people, four starters, and four main courses, but the condition came with five starters. We explained that we hadn't ordered them, but would take them before they were thrown away. The remaining starter was then taken back to the kitchen. However, the starter was charged on the bill, even though we specifically pointed out the incident when we asked for the bill. Unfortunately, we only noticed it after leaving the restaurant. During the meal, the staff didn't pay attention to empty dishes or empty glasses; you had to explicitly ask them to do so. Visually, the restaurant looks great and invites you to sit down and relax. The restrooms are clean, but covered in stickers. It's worth a visit; I wouldn't completely advise against it, but it certainly won't become one of my favorite restaurants, and not just because of the incorrect bill, but more because of the taste experience. There are better Vietnamese restaurants in the city.

Food was forgotten for 35+ minutes (in an empty store at lunch). I had to be late for my appointment, empty and hungry.

No card payments, outdated. The ATM across the street charged a fee of €5.49 for a €20 withdrawal.

For my first time in Bonn, I had a great experience with my friends at Hanoi Ecke. 🤩🤩🤩 The food is truly delicious 🤤. The enthusiasm of the staff made me happy. 🥰 I will be back here many more times 😘

The food is very good. Service is decent. It's a bit small, so it can get loud quickly. Until then, I highly recommend it. The card machine has been broken for many months... who cares? 😉

The food is delicious, especially the starters like mango salad and summer rolls are highly recommended. They also offer many vegetarian dishes. When the weather's nice, you can sit outside, right on the street but still in a pleasant atmosphere.

A solid Vietnamese restaurant with relatively reasonable prices! The food is okay, the taste is good, but they could use more fresh herbs to make it more authentic. The homemade drinks are delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch!

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant due to the poor service. The waitress was extremely rude and even yelled at us, which made us feel very uncomfortable. The situation escalated to the point where we felt we had no choice but to leave. While the food may be good, the level of service we received completely overshadowed that. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Food is nice. Prices are ok. No card payments, we were 8 people everyone’s food arrived on different time, they forgot one order then my friend asked again and apparently they added that to the bill as well! Unbelievable, we realized after everyone paid and left. Bad experience.

Cool spot near the Bonn market. The crispy duck is a must get. My green curry was a bit sweet and tasted more coconut than curry. Drinks were delicious get the ginger tea for sure.

No, unfortunately, I can't recommend the restaurant. The two of us ate there. Since we'd passed by here several times on our way to the sushi restaurant next door, we were curious. My wife was also satisfied with the food. I had a dish called "grilled plate" or something similar. Pork with peanuts, glass noodles, and salad. Spring rolls were a starter. The spring rolls were delicious. The pork that came with the main course was disgusting. It tasted and looked like chopped pork belly, pan-fried and reheated for the third time. And then you had to hunt for the meat. Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Really really bad food….gyoza from the fryer, this is not right, the spring roll was fried twice I think (very dark in color and very greasy). The fried chicken with the nasi was really bad…..I don't know what it was but it was really bad meat…..yuck A maggi

The food was delicious and served quickly. However, I'm deducting stars because the menu is inaccurate. The curry dishes didn't have a milk label, like the other dishes. When I asked about it, I was surprised to be told that all the curries use regular long-life milk. If someone with a milk allergy or lactose intolerance relies on this, I find that very unfortunate. So please add to the menu or update it.

Unfortunately, I'm finding it difficult to even award stars today. The food is generally decent in terms of taste. Only the rather unpleasant addition of a harvestman in my meal meant I couldn't eat a single bite. The staff refused to refund me the €10. I would have received a new dish. It's just that I'd truly lost my appetite. Communication was handled through another colleague, and I couldn't understand what was being said. What a shame!

Overall the visit was good! The food was delicious, but we also ate a little better. My non-alcoholic cocktail was very good (something with passion fruit). As such, I find the store's atmosphere cozy, but I didn't really sit comfortably (the seat without a backrest near the door was a bit cool). The big plus in my opinion is the price/performance. In my opinion, the prices were really humane; other stores take more.

The food itself was okay but the waitress greeted us in sweatpants? Overall, the waitress seemed like she didn't want to be there at all, which is a shame. We weren't brought glasses of beer, but the table next door was. After the food was brought to us, no one came to ask, clear away or collect anything. With 5 tables this would have been possible.

The food was good, the restaurant looks nice. Everything's great, but what do you do when you have to? The only toilet, which is a little outside, is so full of shit that you don't want to be there. But many people probably don't know, hence the queue in front of it.

Worst. I was there for lunch today and ordered rice noodles ‘without coriander’ and ‘chicken spring rolls’ as starters. But what I got were rice noodles ‘with coriander’ and ‘vegan’ spring rolls. I asked for pho without cilantro, but the waitress took a few pieces of cilantro out of my soup and served it to me. If I were allergic to cilantro, that would be terrible. The worst is from now on; My friend and I were talking and eating when the waitress asked me, "Are you ready yet?" I hadn’t even eaten a few bites of the pho and it was clear we were ‘not done’. So rude! The waitress just asked this at our table. The other tables were also full, but were we the only ones asked because we were Asian? That feels racist. Worst experience, so unpleasant and rude. Hanoi corner Vietnamese restaurant in Bonn. 2022 Seating inside and outside. Friendly staff. Quick order food comes to the table quite quickly. Even at the right distance, Starter for the main course. I found very tasty, good food. Drinks good too. Lime juice Very generous portion. I think the prices are reasonable.

Ordered delivery via Uber, took 2 hours (predicted earlier only 30 minutes that was why we did not cancel). Pho arrived without any vegetables (beansprout, corriander, etc) and other food were TASTELESS. Called the restaurant to complaint but they insisted that their Pho does not include any vegetables, whis is strange because last time we ordered from them, it did include the vegetables. Complained about the other tasteless food and received negative response. They did not even apologize. Please do not receive more orders than you can handle, otherwise you will ruin the quality of your food and service to your customer. - a very disappointed former customer-

Amazing Vietnamese cuisine at affordable prices and centrally located near the market in Bonn. Went on a Sunday with a friend and all the tables filled up within 15 minutes. Service was attentive, cordial, and prompt despite the crowd. Would definitely recommend to anyone craving Southeast Asian food.

One of the better Vietnamese places we have ever eaten! Friendly and fast service, large portions, cheap (could be a bit more expensive, to be honest, because I like to pay for quality!). If we are ever in the area again, we will undoubtedly visit again.

Takoyaki was delicious and creamy. I forgot to take a photo of my main dish, Bun Cha Hanoi, but it was also delicious!

I had the pleasure of visiting Saigon Delights Vietnamese Restaurant and I can only rave! From the moment I entered the restaurant I was struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is tasteful and gives an authentic feel of Vietnamese culture. The service was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. They gave excellent recommendations that made our evening even more special. Now about the food: it was absolutely fantastic! We started with fresh spring rolls that were cooked perfectly. The combination of crunchy vegetables and tender shrimp meat wrapped in rice paper was a delight. There was also a peanut sauce that tasted excellent. For the main course I tried the Pho, a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup. The broth was rich and full of flavor, the rice noodles cooked perfectly, and the beef tender and juicy. Every ingredient in the soup seemed to be of the highest quality.

A very good Vietnamese restaurant. The furnishings are very comfortable with lots of bamboo. The quality of the food was excellent. The vegetarian dishes could be highlighted more clearly on the menu - that would make navigation a little faster. 😉 The staff seemed a bit shy/taciturn, but were friendly at all times 😄 A very positive highlight: The Vietnamese green tea was not served in an infusion bag, but rather with directly brewed greens 👍🍵

Unfortunately, things didn't go so smoothly for us: first we had the wrong drink and then it didn't taste good. The vegetarian summer rolls were boring because the tofu was unmarinated and cold. There was also no lime, chili, coriander and/or peanuts). Papaya salad too sweet. It probably wasn't flavored with lime and fish sauce, so the sauces and dressings were generally not balanced and too German = too sweet. Unfortunately, I wouldn't visit the Hanoi Corner again, which is a shame because the service was very good.

The food is very tasty and it is always made quickly. When I call to pick something up, I've always been told that the food would be ready in ten minutes, which is always true. In terms of price, the food is absolutely fine, the portions are large and definitely inexpensive. The employees are always very friendly, but unfortunately the language barrier is sometimes a small problem, especially when making phone calls. But that's my only point of criticism, otherwise I'm completely satisfied!

The Hanoi corner in Bonn has delicious authentic Vietnamese food as well as some other Asian dishes. There are options for every taste, including vegetarian options. The prices are good for Bonn city center, value for money is right. The only negative point is the service, which is a bit slow; As soon as the food is on the table, it is quickly forgotten. Vegetarian options: A wide selection of vegetarian dishes. Tastes very, very good!

Absolutely wonderful experience. We had the chicken pho, fried rice noodles with shrimp, a green and a yellow curry. Every dish was a culinary delight. The portions were also very good, we couldn't finish everything. Service? Super friendly 🥰

Positive: ambience and price Negative: I had rice with breaded chicken. The whole thing was pretty greasy. The breading of the chicken was already over-fried and therefore inedible because it was too hard in consistency. It also tasted quite salty. Ultimately, half had to be thrown away.

We had made a reservation at the Hanoi Ecke in advance, which was good. It was also very busy for a Friday evening. The restaurant is small, cozy and decorated in an Asian style. In my opinion, the food is authentic but not just Vietnamese. There are various rice and noodle dishes. The price-performance ratio is good and the portions are very large. I can only recommend the restaurant and will definitely be back. The service was very friendly and the food was brought quickly for the high occupancy in the restaurant.

Fyi, it costs an extra €1 for parking to take away... otherwise I ordered my noodles as less salty, but I still think they're pretty salty...

Delicious food at super fair prices. Packing no problem. The selection of starters and main courses is large, so there is something for every taste. The ambience suffers somewhat due to the kitchen in the dining room. Particularly when choosing clothing, you should consider lingering odors. In addition, card payments are only possible from a certain amount (as of 01/24 €25). Nevertheless, the food impressed us - we would like to come back.

Lecker und günstige viatnamesische Kost

Ein super süßes Restaurant, herzlicher Service. Das Essen wurde uns sehr schnell gebracht und war wirklich sehr lecker.

Das war nichts Besonderes. Hat ok geschmeckt, aber war nicht herausragend. Tatsächlich gibt es in Bonn bessere Alternativen, wenn man vietnamesisch essen will.

Wir waren leider sehr enttäuscht von unserer Bestellung, die wir heute über Wolt getätigt haben. Meine Nudeln mit Gemüse und Tofu enthielten kaum Gemüse, es schmeckte nach altem Fett und war insgesamt leider unterdurchschnittlich. Schade!
