Delicious food, very friendly staff – definitely a highly recommended place.

The atmosphere was very pleasant, but the food wasn't that tasty and especially had a lot of sauce; I've eaten much better Vietnamese food in Cologne.

As a vegetarian, you need to explicitly ask about the ingredients, as not everything that goes into the food is listed on the menu.

At first, everything was fine. The food I ordered was delivered incorrectly twice. I wanted a rice bowl with beef. I got glass rice noodles with tofu, and the second time, the same noodles with beef. I accepted this because the manager/chef was already very annoyed. The waitresses were very overwhelmed, sometimes waiting 30 minutes, if not longer, for drinks. We walked past the table several times, but weren't asked if we wanted another drink. The thanks we got for a great evening was to spend the whole night in the bathroom. Conclusion: Never again.

Four of us ate there, and everyone had a delicious meal! The teas were also delicious and freshly prepared (no tea bags)! The service was attentive and friendly! We'll be back!

It's a very good restaurant in the heart of Bonn-Duisdorf. They serve delicious and healthy Vietnamese food, and the service is always very friendly and fast. We always reserve a table before going. I recommend it. I especially recommend the great teas! Very special, super delicious, and healthy! They recently added a special sushi menu, and I highly recommend the shrimp bowl and the other bowls! My favorite dish is 5 meat-filled wangtangs! 🤗

The quality of the ingredients is very good. The food is very well-made and delicious. Cash payments are welcome, which I find very understandable. We enjoy going there often, despite the half-hour drive.

Very good food, recently added sushi, which is very good. Always fresh ingredients, lots of choice, large portions, a lunch menu to choose from, very friendly service. However, last time we were there, we were practically forgotten outside, even though it wasn't busy. Good prices, cozy atmosphere, plenty of outdoor seating, where we were even given a special incense stick to ward off wasps! I've never experienced anything like this at any other restaurant.

I ordered food here once. The peanut duck sauce was way too sweet, and the crispy duck was unfortunately very oily – overall, it was okay, but I wouldn't give it a 1-star rating. What was absolutely unacceptable, however, was a long black hair in my summer rolls 🤮. I definitely won't eat here again.

We used to order there a lot and were always satisfied. Now, after a long absence, we ordered there again and were horrified. It was as if we'd ordered from a different restaurant. The rice noodles were a mess. The vegetables/salad in the dish, which used to be fresh herbs, were now overcooked, ready-made vegetables like you'd get at a Chinese takeaway. The portions were much smaller. The packaging alone was cheap, like you'd get at a takeaway, and not like it used to be. The papaya salad bore no resemblance to the one we'd ordered in advance. All in all, a complete disappointment. We're definitely out and won't be eating there again. It's a shame.

A truly great restaurant! The food was delicious and freshly prepared, especially the pho. The waitresses were extremely friendly, attentive, and made for a truly positive evening. You feel especially welcome here. One small criticism, though: The dining room was a bit too dark; a little more lighting would have enhanced the cozy atmosphere even more. But otherwise, it's absolutely recommended; I'll definitely be back.

I was at Bonjour Vietnam last night – unfortunately, it was an absolute disaster. The service was completely unprofessional. Both young ladies working that evening wore headphones while working and were on their phones the entire time. We were completely ignored, and when we politely asked, we were treated rudely and irritably. After a while, we decided to leave because we felt completely unwelcome. I will definitely not be coming back. Such disrespectful behavior towards guests is completely unacceptable.

We were looking forward to a delicious meal. The menu looked great, but the food didn't match the description. The quality was like a takeaway, and the prices at €14-16 were steep. The service was really unfriendly. The good reviews are probably not from guests :D

We wouldn't eat here again. Given the numerous good reviews, we had hoped for more. The chicken was too tough for our taste, and some of the salad was shriveled. The service spends more time on their phones than with the customers. A shame!

After a nearly 10-hour drive to Bonn, we finally arrived and were looking for something to eat when we came across "Bonjour Vietnam." Unfortunately, we arrived when the kitchen had closed for much longer, but we still received friendly service. We ordered quickly and our food was served super fast. We raved about every bite; everything tasted amazing – from the appetizer plate to the main course. I would have liked to order dessert, but unfortunately, I was already full, and the kitchen was already closed. So, if you're in Bonn, "Bonjour Vietnam" is absolutely recommended!

After my visit to your restaurant, I suffered from severe vomiting and diarrhea during the night. I suspect this is due to food poisoning. Due to this negative experience I will not visit the restaurant again.

I've been a fan for years. Everything is fresh and well seasoned. Today I was disappointed. Do you have a new chef? The love for freshness is missing. That's what you're advertising for. It was just cheaply done. Tofu not seasoned and fried. Sauce, not like always, super seasoned. Too bad

I was there with colleagues and we ordered two meals with starters. I wanted a glass noodle salad. When the appetizers came, I was served wonton soup. I complained about this. In the end, after the waiter came out of the kitchen, I was no longer sure whether I had said the wrong number or whether the nice waiter had written down the wrong one. In any case, he went, checked the order slip, came back fuming and announced that the soup number was on it. Next time I shouldn't say the name but the number and left. A short time later the salad was served by the nice waiter. But my salad was so spicy that I cried while eating it and turned pretty red. It was ok because I like spicy food - it might have turned out differently for people who couldn't tolerate it. It was cleared away by the rude gentleman who then asked how it tasted. When I said it was a bit spicy I only got a spiteful laugh. The main course was then served quickly and tasted okay - I had chosen slightly spicy, it was barely noticeably spicy. With my meal I ordered lemon-mint tea, which was really excellent with fresh ingredients! All in all, it was a nice evening, but I don't know if I would go there again.

Tonight I had dinner at Bonjour Vietnam and I absolutely loved it! The food was incredibly delicious - every dish was prepared with a lot of love and tasted fantastic. I would particularly like to highlight the young man who served us. We were warmly welcomed and looked after excellently throughout the evening. He was extremely attentive, friendly and made us feel truly welcome. All in all, a completely successful experience! I will definitely come back and can only recommend Bonjour Vietnam.

We visited the small restaurant for the first time, we had reserved and were greeted very friendly. The menus arrived immediately. We had already decided in advance on Vietnamese spring rolls, fried flat rice noodles and a chicken dish with peanut sauce. Drinks and food came very quickly, were hot and freshly prepared. Both the rolls and the other two dishes were very tasty, but seasoned very cautiously. I would also have liked some spiciness. We didn't know that you could determine the level of spiciness in advance. My noodles were supposed to contain ginger and peanuts, I couldn't taste any ginger, I found half a peanut. Have more courage when seasoning. Absolutely okay in terms of price. A clear recommendation from us with some room for improvement. We'd love to come back.

A small drawback is that some of the seating is a bit worn, but that is rather irrelevant. Prices for Bonn are absolutely within the range and also in keeping with the quality. For a larger number of people (from 3 upwards) you should reserve due to the limited number of seats 100% recommendation. I'd love to come back

I come to Bonjour Vietnam regularly to eat and often order something to pick up. I prefer to eat the flat rice noodles with silken tofu. Very tasty and great value for money!

Wonderful experience for the palate. Fresh vegetables and a very finely balanced dark sauce in dish 67. There could be just a little more rice. What is also indescribable are the non-alcoholic cocktails. Lime with peppermint... incredibly pleasant... finally great alternatives to the usual standard drinks.

Authentic Vietnamese restaurant with large portion and excellent taste! The parking situation is not good because the restaurant is in a pedestrian zone with no parking spaces, but every step you have to take is worth it. There were 6 of us there. We showed up with two babies in a stroller and everything was made possible to make us feel comfortable, without any problems. The food came quickly and was very tasty! Absolute recommendation!

Bonjour Vietnam in Duisdorf: room for improvement At Rochusstrasse 241 in Duisdorf, the “Bonjour Vietnam” promises a touch of Far Eastern cuisine. When we visited, the tables showed traces of previous guests, which unfortunately spoiled the first impression. The menu could also have used a thorough cleaning. Service was slow, which can be frustrating on a busy evening. A little more attention and speed would be desirable here. As far as the food is concerned, “Bonjour Vietnam” falls short of expectations. Although the dishes are edible, they do not reach the quality that one would expect from good Vietnamese cuisine. It lacks the finesse and depth of flavor that usually characterizes this cuisine. A plus point is the moderate prices, which largely correspond to the level offered. You get what you pay for – if nothing more. Conclusion: With a rating of 5 out of 10 points, the “Bonjour Vietnam” shows clear potential for improvement. It's not a complete failure, but there's definitely room for improvement. For a truly compelling Vietnamese dining experience in the area, I recommend a visit to Antoki on Brüser Berg. This restaurant offers significantly better quality in terms of food, service and ambience. My advice to the management of "Bonjour Vietnam": A revision of the concept could work wonders. Start with a thorough cleaning of the establishment, invest in staff training, and work on refining your dishes. With a little more attention to detail and attention to the guests, "Bonjour Vietnam" could definitely become a recommendable restaurant. To potential guests: If you decide to visit "Bonjour Vietnam", don't set your expectations too high. However, for a truly authentic and tasty Vietnamese experience, I recommend making the trek to Antoki on Brüser Berg. The difference is definitely worth the extra trip.

I recently visited the Bonjour Vietnam restaurant in Bonn and overall I was very satisfied. The food was simply amazing – the flavors were authentic and the dishes were superbly prepared. The service was also very good; the staff was friendly and attentive. However, my visit was disrupted by a man outside who yelled at the waiters and didn't speak German. This affected the ambience significantly. Nevertheless, my visit to Bonjour Vietnam was a positive experience and I would definitely recommend it.

Food nothing special, but quite good. What doesn't work at all: my son had put a piece of peel from a piece of melon in my empty beer glass. When I ordered a new beer, I actually found the peel in the glass, meaning I was given the old glass, which apparently hadn't even been rinsed out, for my new beer. Also bad: After my complaint, the waitress didn't even apologize.

Früher waren wir ziemlich oft hier, aber nachem es diverse Skandale bezüglich Arbeitsbedingungen und Mitarbeitern gab, haben wir diesen Laden eine Weile gemieden. Mittlerweile arbeit hier ein ganz anderes Personal. Das Essen ist immer noch lecker, allerdings war es früher besser. Aber kann man durchaus immer noch essen und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut.

If everything had been tip top, 2 guests with 2 dogs wouldn't have sat directly at the next table. I have nothing against dogs or animals in general, but in rainy weather they tend to emit an unpleasant smell. This is very much in the direction of harassment. The food is still delicious and the prices are good. However, the staff was unfortunately a little awkward. Drinks and cutlery came after the appetizer was served. I only ate half of the starter before the main course was served. The plate was placed at the edge of the table without comment. When I asked another waitress that we should wait a bit for the main course because it was now getting cold, she looked at me and asked what she should do now. The kitchen couldn't have guessed that I wasn't finished yet. I then ate the main course and then the starter. Restaurant professionals should be able to ensure that the menu sequence runs smoothly ;-) It was stupid, but the food was still tasty.
