It's such an extraordinary place. I went there with my family and we had some great dishes. Everything we ordered was delicious. The employees are absolutely lovely, they totally made our day. Highly recommended 👌 👍🏻

Edit: unfortunately it wasn't so good the last time I was there. I would describe the food as average, but still good value for money. Very clean snack bar with friendly staff, almost feels more like a restaurant. The food was super tasty and the prices are still really cheap even now. You can't really get a dish with duck for just €9.20 anywhere else. The sharpness was also great, really really sharp, exactly as desired. The duck meat wasn't too fatty and just crispy enough to not be dry. We've had better yellow curry and spring rolls, but these were also good quality and very fair in price. When I'm back in Bonn, I'll be happy to come back :)

We went 1 week ago and we didn't like it like on other occasions. It took them a long time to serve, in fact more customers arrived later and they received their food sooner. After so much waiting, the food was cold. We will not repeat.

You will be served quickly, but without a reservation it may be difficult to get a table due to its popularity. The dishes are very tasty and wonderfully seasoned. The vegetables are always fresh and typically Vietnamese, they play a large part in the meals. It's reasonably priced, very healthy and tasty. I give it a thumbs up and we'll be happy to come back.

Best Asian place in the city and the prices are extremely good for the location. If you grab the daily special it borderline feels like stealing. Absolutely my favorite restaurant to go to at the moment

My adventure at the Asia Viet-Thai Bistro in Bonn is more like a culinary odyssey in chaos. The ambience, which was supposed to embody Vietnam, felt more like a cultural mess in an 80's Greek diner. The air conditioning, a relic of days gone by, did its best by flatly refusing to emit anything cool. The wait staff, or rather the time travelers from an era when waiting in line was considered an acceptable way to pass the time, turned my patience into a mythological creature. But the highlight: four consecutive episodes of culinary cinema that almost made me star in “The Exorcist.” This gastronomic tragedy sent my taste buds on a rollercoaster ride that I won't soon forget. To be honest, I would prefer to give Asia Viet-Thai Bistro minus stars and I can't recommend this place to anyone with the best will in the world. The idea of ​​recommending this place is more like a bad joke than a serious culinary experience. I just can't understand where the 4.4 stars come from. Maybe my taste buds have traveled to another galaxy, but this rating puzzle remains unsolved for me.

There was obviously originally a Greek restaurant here, but nothing was changed on the wall decoration and that brings us to the point. The appropriate name for this bistro is loveless, both for the ambience, which is more reminiscent of a canteen, and for the service and food. The food was okay, but by no means more, the sauce was boring, at least the vegetables were crunchy, the pak choi was unfortunately bitter. I ordered ginger tea, what came was rather indefinable, probably powdered tea and also sweetened. There is no recommendation from me here.

This was the worst service ever. First of all the waitress was very rude, no English speaking and she seemed cross that we did not quickly made our mind about food. A couple times she just moved to the next table in the middle of the sentence when we were asking for something from her. I asked for prawn crackers and she said no but I said I saw them on another table and asked for the menu. When we asked for them in German she gave a closed pack of prawn crackers to my daughter not bothering to serve them on a plate. This is the funniest part; My husband went to bar to pay the bill because she was not coming to table. He wanted to see the bill but she said pay first then you can see the bill. He handed the card and she did not like it said they only accept EC cards. He said ok I can pay in cash then. She said ok if you pay in cash, you can see the bill 😂😂 Funniest thing ever happened to me in a restaurant.

Authentisches vietnamesisches Essen. Es ist nicht billig, aber die Qualität spricht für sich! Die Toilette ist leider nicht barrierefrei. Die Einrichtung ist okay, auch wenn die Wandgestaltung eher an eine Eisdiele erinnert. Bis jetzt definitiv einer der besten vietnamesischen Restaurants.

Bin sowas von enttäuscht, hatte mir die Nr. 30 ausgesucht für zuhause. Erstens das Fleisch (Hähnchen)war sowas von überbraten und die Nudeln waren alle klein gehackt. Nicht nochmal.

Before recommended now an absolute no-go restaurant. We used to come here regularly, recommended it to our friends and thought we were valued guests there. Maybe to safe money or we were just lucky it didn't happen before, today we had a black round stone in the rice on one of our dishes. Luckily it didn't destroy my teeth, but having stones in asian dishes in Germany is unacceptable. We asked the waitress and they confirmed it comes from the rice but didn't show much remorse. One of the waitresses, the young one, was very rude and charged us the full 9 Euro dish even though we asked for some gestures to improve our bad experience. A heartfelt sorry, or some discount or a small coke ... Nothing, just rudeness and signs of being annoyed. We will not come here anymore, the risk of getting stones in the low quality rice again and being insulted by the bad service are just too high. Its a big shame to see a good restaurant developing in a bad direction. We will not come here again and I hope nobody will get their teeth ruined there in the future....

Hat sich extrem verschlechtert, man sollte nur die neusten Bewertungen lesen. !- Hatten heute einen Stein im Essen! Antwort: Ja das kommt wahrscheinlich vom Reis. Glücklicherweise sind die Zähne noch in Ordnung, wir haben das Essen dann noch fertig gegessen, dachten aber man kommt uns aufgrund der Verletzungsgefahr und dass wir das Essen nicht in den Müll werfen haben lassen etwas entgegen. Nein, man muss den vollen Preis zahlen, keine Reue, nichts, wurden noch blöd angemacht, man hätte es ja wegwerfen und neu kochen können. Haben uns Mühe gegeben nicht mit einem schlechten Gefühl nachhause zu gehen und gefragt ob dann wenigstens vielleicht ne kleine Cola für meine Tochter drin wäre. Nee, angepisst wurde gesagt so ne Tüte übriggeblieber Krabbenchips soll ich doch mitnehmen. Absolut unterirdisch... Anscheinend kommt das häufiger vor, hatte jedoch noch nie Steine in meinem Essen. Gibt es offensichtlich nur wenn man minderwertigsten Reis verarbeitet, der nicht mal Discounterqualität hat. Preise wurden auch deutlich erhöht. Haben jetzt unsere 5 Sterne Bewertung von früher in eine 1 Sterne Bewertung umgeändert. Werden auch nicht die letzten sein wahrscheinlich.... Lieber woanders hin gehen wenn man kein Risiko eingehen will.

Das Lokal ist von außen unscheinbar. Beim Eintreten zeigt das Lokal viel Platz, da es tiefer reingeht. Der Service war freundlich und höflich. Das Mobiliar ist schon in die Jahre gekommen und bietet nicht so eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Die Dekoration ist bunt zusammengestellt. Die Preise sind recht günstig, sodass viele junge Gäste einkehren oder auch zum Mitnehmen bestellen. Die banh cuong und banh xeo sind recht lecker. Hoffentlich bleibt die Qualität der vietnamesischen Gerichte konstant gut. Die anderen Gerichte kann ich nicht beurteilen.

Hole mir ab und zu was zum Mittag raus. Bin mit der Qualität immer zufrieden (esse gerne was mit Rind oder Huhn und schön scharf). Wenig Ambiente (aber sauber) und wenig Interaktion mit den Gästen, aber die Mitarbeiter sind trotzdem sehr freundlich und ich bekomme das Essen idR nach kurzer Wartezeit. Unter den Asia-Imbissen in Nähe zum Bertha mein Favorit.

O atendimento podia ser melhor. Um sorriso e hospitalidade agradam a qualquer cliente.

Das Restaurant ist nicht so hübsch, es ist jedoch sehr Sauber. Auch die Toiletten sind gut und Sauber. Wer draußen essen will, muss drinnen bestellen und bezahlen, das fanden wir nicht so gut. Die Karte ist sehr unübersichtlich und einfach viel zu groß. Sehr viele scharfe Speisen und zu wenig nicht scharf. Man kann gut Vegetarisch essen! Das essen war bis jetzt immer lecker.

Sehr nettes, kostengünstiges Asia Bistro mit guter Auswahl an asiatischen und vor allem vietnamesischen Gerichten, dass ganz unscheinbar in der Bonngasse auf Besucher wartet. Unschlagbar ist der Mittagstisch, aber auch am Abend kann man hier gut und günstig speisen. Portionen mehr als ausreichend, leckere Säfte. Freundliche Bedienung, die auch auf Sonderwünsche eingeht und zuvorkommend ist. Das Ambiente ist rustikal, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist sauber und gepflegt. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne vorbei.

After finishing my first shift at work I decided to look for a nice Thai restaurant. This one seemed to be the nearest and with the best reviews score, so decided to come here instead of looking any further. The lady at the counter was quite sweet, very smiley, and I asked her if she could speak English, she did. Told me the menu was in English too and I took a seat. For the starter I ordered a Tom Kha Gai soup and for the main course Beef Ginger. The starter was okay, the taste wasn’t the taste I am accustomed when eating Tom Kha Gai soup and I asked without any mushrooms, and there they were floating in the soup anyway. Way before I had finished my starter, the lady in kitchen decided to bring my main course, even tho she could see I was still enjoying my starter. They are way too fast! The main course was quite good! Everything I asked for! It was quite delicious, but way too much! I also couldn’t finish it because while I was trying to enjoy my main course someone in the kitchen could be seen coughing really hard without putting a hand or arm in front of their mouth, lost appetite right away. The place itself is okay, nothing too special, cute and welcoming tho! I might come back for a second try, but at this point I am not so sure about it. Wanted to give this place a 2 stars, but the food was okay, the lady at the counter was really nice, so that for me earned it a 3 stars.

Die Speisen sind lecker die Bedienung immer locker drauf. Die Preise sind auch nicht so übertrieben wie woanders. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Frühlingsrolle war viel zu lange in der Fritteuse und kam viel zu dunkel und hart an den Tisch. Gericht mit Hähnchenfleisch nur ohne Fleisch, das mit 3Stücke zu erwähnen wäre. Gezahlt,,,, Erfahrung gemacht und abgeheftet.

Sehr gute Qualität. Sehr nette und sehr schnelle Bedienung. Jetzt nichts für Heiratsanträge. Und nichts für ausgesprochene Kenner. Dafür fehlt der Pfiff. Einfach ein guter Asiate für deutsche Gaumen.

Ich habe das Tagesangebot für 5,70€ gegessen und war sehr zufrieden. Sehr Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, so günstig bekommt man so gutes Essen momentan kaum. Überraschend großer Innenbereich mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Der Service war schnell und freundlich.

This is my favorite low cost asian restaurant in the entire city. I've been here many times for dine in and takeout. The food is good, the portions are large, and the prices are low. It's not always the nicest place to sit but you can always get takeout. There is also limited outdoor seating if the weather is nice. It's centrally located and is an easy stop on the way home from work or during the day for lunch.

Mein absoluter Favorit in Sachen Viet- Thai Restaurant. War mit meiner Frau mindestens 20 mal dort und sind nie entäuscht worden. Hervoragendes Essen zu einem super günstigen Preis!! P.S. 50mtr weiter ist das Geburtshaus und Museum von Ludwig van Beethoven.

Returning from Königswinter on a Saturday, with a stopover at Bonn, we were not exactly spoiled for choice when it came to vietnamese/Thai cuisine. We decided to try our luck with this one as the place was enroute our sightseeing through the city center. We were definitely surprised and pleasantly so because the food was decent in taste and enormous in quantity, the service quick and the most important in customer service, friendly and smiling servers. Being an Indian, I can handle my spice and there was this chilly condiment/paste that they served which was too good to be true, so much so, that my husband wanted me to ask them what it's called so we could buy it later from an Asian store! (And no, I didn't ask :-D)
