The food is incredibly delicious, absolutely recommended!!!!!!!

This Vietnamese restaurant is within walking distance from the train station. There were a lot of free seats and the food was served quite quickly. Unfortunately the quality of the food was disappointing. We found a long black hair in a pasta dish, which is absolutely unacceptable. The summer rolls were cheap but disappointing. We ordered it with shrimp, but instead the filling consisted of 90% lettuce, a few pieces of egg and a few glass noodles, some of which were still sticking out of the summer roll because it was poorly packaged. Instead of the expected juicy shrimp, there was only one tiny Arctic crab (!) per summer roll... There were also no authentic herbs such as coriander or mint included. Everything was very carelessly arranged. The sauces were also disappointing, especially the fish sauce which tasted of nothing. I would have liked a more authentic selection like a good peanut sauce. In general the choice of dishes was very limited. Overall a very disappointing experience, despite the good location. Don't go here!

Summer rolls are a joke. The soup is also bland and the meat doesn't taste good. The ambience is nothing special and the service wasn't particularly good either. I wouldn't come back.

If, like us, you travel a lot and take photos and explore, you sometimes discover really good insider tips in the catering industry. Let's be honest, there are plenty of kebabs and Chinese food on every corner, in every city, and at least 85% of them are frozen foods and the package is torn open and then warmed up. This is not cooking!! .. .. .. At May May in Bonn you can expect a small and fine selection of freshly cooked dishes, quickly and beautifully prepared, with a very friendly and alert service (the 2 young ladies were very friendly, helpful and committed) and genuine North Vietnamese dishes. You can literally taste the love when cooking and serving. Absolute insider tip in Bonn and we will definitely come back to you! .. .. .. Prices are unbeatably cheap and reasonable. As we all know, the catering industry isn't having an easy time of it at the moment. So visit the girls at May May and let your taste buds be pampered!

I recommend them because the lady who serves is super kind, respectful and patient. So it's nice to come back. A friend took me to that restaurant and I was very satisfied, the food was delicious, not very expensive, and the service was super friendly. What more can I ask for? :-). Thanks for everything.

Die Restaurant am Anfang war sehr gut, das beste vietnamesisch Restaurant in Bonn ich war fast jede Woche da. Bei Küste besucht ich war wirklich sehr enttäuscht die quarrtet schlechte geworden.

Comida rica, buena atención y rápido. Ya fui dos veces y pienso regresar. La ensalada de mango y las limpias como acompañante son mis favoritas y el Pho es muy rico y te llena de energía.

Habe etwa 3-4 Mal dort gegessen und Essen und Getränke waren immer sehr gut. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar (was bei der Entscheidung hilft) und bebildert. Das Bild zeigt einen vietnamesischen Vorspeisensalat mit hervorragendem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis (was für alle Gerichte gilt). Die Schärfe ist für Mitteleuropäer genau richtig. Das Restaurant ist ähnlich klein wie der Preis, also besser vorher reservieren.

10/10 bester Vietnamese in Bonn. Essen ist super lecker und authentisch, Portionen sind solide, Service ist super nett. Favoriten sind die Fischsuppe und das Zitronengras-Chili-Rind.

Für mich das beste vietnamesische Restaurant in Bonn - geschmacklich top und der Service auch immer 1a! Einzig die Öffnungszeiten sind manchmal etwas schade, man muss abends halt früh dran sein, da sie nur bis 20 Uhr geöffnet haben - aber es lohnt sich :)

Good portion size and good taste

Wir waren heute das erste Mal mit Kollegen hier essen. Wir bekamen schnell die Karten und wurden auch schnell fündig. Das Essen kam auch schnell. Die Portionen sind überschaubar und nicht günstig. Der Geschmack hat uns alle überzeugt. Wir kommen wieder.

Super vietnamesisches Essen, leckere Shakes und alles Frisch. Empfehlenswert ist Phô mit Rindfleisch. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Bin zum xten mal hier. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und immer frisch zubereitet. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und fix. Der Laden ist recht klein und hat zwei Tische für zwei Personen im Außenbereich. Reservieren ist nicht möglich aber mit ein bis zwei Personen geht oft die asiatische Lösung, man rückt zusammen und setzt sich zu anderen Gästen dazu. Für mich mein absoluter Favorit in der Innenstadt.

Immer wieder lecker. Wir gehen schon seit vielen Jahren sehr gerne hier hin. Es gibt viele sehr gute Gerichte, das Essen kommt sehr schnell und uns gefällt auch das kleine gemütliche Lokal. Die Lage ist sowieso super. Und als klare Empfehlung der May May Shake.

La cucina è abbastanza buona, ma la scelta è limitata e il prezzo alto per porzioni non molto abbondanti.

Bediening is attent en vriendelijk. Het eten is neutraal, vietnamees keuken heeft elk chefkok eigen smaak en manier van voorbereiden. Voor mij was de smaak niet veel bijzonder. Pho beef gehad. Mis schaal met vers groentes erbij en hosin saus, black bean sausage. Wel gevraagd, maar die hebben ze gewoon niet. Bo la lot, het wordt gebakken in boter in plaats van grill. Dat is erg jammer.

Das authentischeste Vietnamrestaurant, das ich in Deutschland ausprobiert habe ! Es bedient Gerichte und Fischsoße, die in den anderen VN Restaurants es nicht gibt. Fischnudeln (Bun Ca) und Cha La Lot sind stark empfohlen, die sind sehr lecker !

Seit mehreren Jahren treffen wir uns hier und essen die beste Fischsuppe. Die Freundin kommt aus Siegburg und ich komme aus Köln. sehr zu empfehlen!!!!!

I ordered the small portion of the main dish Pho Tofu, the big portion had only 2€ difference yet the small portion was less than a third of the portion of a big one, it was so disappointing and it wasn't worth it at all. The waiter agrees that the portion was way too small for such an expensive price and it didn't make sense the difference to the big portion, he said he is sorry but he isn't the one deciding on the prices.

This cozy and friendly restaurant offers a moderate amount of dishes from the menu. Regardless of the small amount of appetizers, the main dishes are huge. The taste was quite well prepared with fresh garnishes. The drinks were so fresh and very enjoyable during the hot summer The waiting staff was very friendly.

The Food was good. For food they get 4.5 but for service, they get 5/5. Our server was a young woman who was very helpful and made us feel welcome. The pho was very good and flavorful. The food was cheap compared to the taste.

authentic pho confirmed by a Vietnamese. I recommend it serve with some slices of fresh chilli & some more vegetables like sprouts, corianders, saw-leaves, and soy paste. The shake is also a must try if you come here. It has quite good tropical taste.

Tasty fresh food, nicely presented and reasonable prices. The only minus point is that the place is quite small and therefore tables are quite close to each other. The place can quickly feel too crowded. In these pandemic times, it doesn't feel too good. But the food is very good so it can be a good take away option!

Das May May war in seinen Anfangsjahren fantastisch, später sehr gut, nach der Widereröffning nach dem Brand vor einigen Jahren immer noch gut bis sehr gut und seit der Wiedeeröffnung nach dem Lockdown von leider nur noch knapp gut. Die Brühe der Pho hat nicht mehr den intensiven Geschmack, an Kräutern und ähnlichem wird gespart, die Sommerrollen werden nicht mehr so ästhetisch gefüllt und fest gerollt, der MayMay-Shake hat vom Geschmack gewaltig nachgelassen...Das gilt eigentlich für alle Speisen. und Getränke.Insbesondere die liebevolle Dekoration der Speisen von einst istGeschichte. Schade aber auch irgendwo verständlich. Vermutlich unter anderem notwendigen Sparmaßnahmen und dem Wechsel des Personals geschuldet.

Perfect place if you are looking at trying some Vietnamese cuisine, the seating arrangement is very cosy and location near the city center makes it very accessible. Staff is super friendly and quick, perfect place for a quick take away after work. I would recommend the sommer rolls and Pho which are really amazing!!

Die Phở Bo Suppe ist einfach göttlich und macht in der normalen Größe auf jeden Fall satt. Eines Tages wird meine nachgekochte Phở Suppe zu Hause genauso so schmecken. :) An die Inhaber. Gibt es die Möglichkeit in eigens mitgebrachten Behältern die Suppe oder andere Gerichte "to go" mit zu nehmen?

This is one of the best Asian restaurants in Bonn, in my opinion. The menu isn’t huge but certainly provides enough options to choose from. Everything tastes very fresh and authentic. The service is extremely fast and the servers are very nice - perfect place for a quick lunch. Also, I really liked the presentation: everything is very clean, neat and the portion sizes are perfect. I can recommend the fried egg noodles with chicken - I know it’s a simple dish, but they make it surprisingly well. This place is a bit pricey (about €11.50 for a dish), given that there are quite a few Vietnamese and Thai places in the area where you’d pay €7-8.00, but the quality is worth the money.

Super leckeres Essen, ich fand das Restaurant sehr gut, mein Sohn (17) ein Bisschen laut. Ist ein kleines gemütliches Lokal. Die Bedienung total nett und zuvorkommend, immer ein freundliches Lächeln im Gesicht. Preise absolut vertretbar. Bin gar nicht oft in Bonn, würde aber bestimmt wieder hin gehen. Auf jeden Fall eine Weiterempfehlung wert.

Es war sehr schön und hatte sehr gutes Personal denn das Essen war schnell da und es hat sehr geschmeckt. Die Getrenke waren sehr lecker und auch Teilweise sehr gesund das Essen auch ich war nur ein mal dort und es hat mich inspiriert ich würde dieses Restorant jeden Empfehlen.

May May pleasantly surprises by not trying to be everything at the same time ("Viet - Thai - Sushi"), which always ends in disaster. No, their food is the most authentic I ever had in such a modest outfit. But be aware that their prices are not as modest. The price-performance, however, is still very good. Just don't expect to walk away with just five Euros in your pockets missing. If you're undecided, take the big Pho, not the small one. It's a much better deal.
