We've been to this restaurant many times; we really enjoy the food and it's beautifully presented. However, on our last visit, we were really fed up with the waiter/owner. He's the only one taking our order and is simply rude and unprofessional...quickly irritated and just over the top. At first, we thought it was very important, but in the end, it was too much! We were a large group and generated good sales. If I experience something like that again, I will avoid the restaurant in the future.

We took advantage of the beautiful outdoor area. The interior also looked very appealing. Service was very friendly. The starter, main course, and dessert were all very good. (The duck was a real treat.) With six people, we had the opportunity to try several dishes. However, since it's over an hour's drive, I don't think we'll be back again. Except perhaps on an ad hoc basis. Have a nice time in this lovely restaurant, everyone.

The food was delicious. Something completely different from those "conventional" restaurants that always have the same thing on the menu. One star deducted because the waiter was polite and did everything well, but since there were only two of us, it was clear that he was just serving us in a hurry. The food came quickly and was of very high quality. The view of a riding stable was a bit of a bummer, but you can tell that the restaurant itself does everything it can to create a pleasant atmosphere.

The food is excellent; I've tried several dishes and have never been disappointed. My favorite is the Glory Duck. Delicious duck with crunchy vegetables, spicy seasoning, and a nice dose of chili, served with rice. 👌

Very delicious and authentic Vietnamese dishes, which are also beautifully and lovingly presented. The appetizers arrived extremely quickly, and we didn't have to wait long for the main courses either (we were there on a Tuesday). The drinks always came quickly, too, and I found the homemade lychee lemonade particularly delicious. My only criticism: the sauces were too thin/watery—at least for me personally. Both the peanut sauce for the summer rolls and the mango sauce for the main course (sot).

If you want, you can go for a walk in the forest next door before or after your meal. Because the restaurant is not centrally located, but on the edge of Bonn-Duisdorf next to a riding stable. My son loves the Vietnamese mocktails and desserts.

We have been to this restaurant over 5 times now. At first everything was very good. Unfortunately we were disappointed on our last visit. We had reserved a table. But the space didn't fit the number of people at all. Nevertheless, we made a compromise. We were much more disappointed by the arrogance and unpleasant behavior of the waiter (owner?). When ordering, we were interrupted several times in unpleasant ways, such as “Stop now,” “Wait,” or even grimaces that were unpleasant. At first we just laughed… but gradually it became too much. Now we will be eating Vietnamese food elsewhere for at least a year.

Our favourite Asian restaurant in Bonn. A wide range of vegetarian and vegan options - and other items of course. Delicious taste. Good service. Wonderful location on the edge of the forest. I am always surprised it’s not busier.

I was at Antoki's for the first time today. I had the summer rolls as a starter. They came cut like sushi with a peanut sauce for dipping. The rolls were very tasty and fresh. The sauce went great with it. I can only recommend the apple lemon lemonade.

Delicious food. It's a shame that almost every vegetarian dish contains tofu or seitan—but you can have it without if you prefer. All dishes are also available in vegetarian versions. In summer, there are huge mosquito attacks outside.

Nice location. Food was good, unfortunately it was mixed up (different degrees of spiciness). Waiter, probably the boss, with chewing gum and throwing the beer mats towards the guest to serve drinks. Nice toilet, smell something strong, ventilate it. There is still room for improvement.

A nice atmosphere, the food was delicious and came very quickly. If the price-performance ratio was better, I would recommend the restaurant. However, we were very surprised that the prices on the menu in the restaurant were sometimes very different from those on the in-house website, sometimes up to €5 per dish. As an explanation, the waiter told us that the responsible IT person was currently on vacation in Vietnam. Antoki was a wonderful chance discovery; we eat here regularly. The outdoor area is particularly cozy in the summer, but you can also sit comfortably inside. The service is always very friendly and attentive. The food arrives relatively quickly, and in addition to being delicious, it's always beautifully presented. Admittedly, it takes courage and a strong desire to experiment when you first encounter Vietnamese cuisine at Antoki. It was almost disconcerting that, contrary to my secret hopes, nothing on the menu evoked any associations with the usual Chinese food. So, in the end, the only familiar word tipped the scales when choosing the dish. One that created the impression that a famous former US president had once opted for exactly the same dish. And what can I say? A choice that, after seeing what it looked like, I not only understood, but would have made. And, after tasting it, I would make again and again. If there weren't so much more to discover there. Since I have courage and a penchant for experimentation, that shouldn't be difficult ;)

The food was good. The service didn't meet my expectations in terms of friendliness. It could be much better, even with the language barrier. The location was far too loud and thinly soundproof. You couldn't hear yourself speak. My last visit because of the service.

Es ist ein Unding, dass der Oberkellner diversen männlichen Gästen auf die Pelle rückt und man am Nebentisch Getränke bestellen möchte und statt dessen zusehen muss wie anderen Gästen die Brustwarzen massiert werden. Unterirdisch! Wir haben zu Hause im Internet auf der Homepage gecheckt, was wir gerne verzehren würden. Dies Homepage ist sowohl inhaltlich, als auch preislich nicht identisch mit mit der Karte vor Ort. Wir waren schon diverse Male in diesem Restaurant und die Verhaltensweise des Kellners ist nichts Einmaliges. Da heute auch das Essen zwar frisch, aber auch relativ geschmacklos war, haben wir beschlossen, dass dies unser letzter Besuch war.

I can only explain the good previous reviews by saying that there has been a change in ownership or staff, or that other waiters may be friendlier. Recently there have been more and more negative reviews in the comments. Examples: - The incorrect order of a drink could no longer be changed 5 seconds after ordering. - Main course came with Saitan, even though it was expressly ordered without (super dangerous for allergy sufferers) - The request to serve one of the non-alcoholic cocktails (for an additional charge) with rum was absolutely summarily rejected. - Various other small inconveniences, in the end we were forced to pay in cash. That's a shame because the food and atmosphere were actually quite good. Inside, the furnishings are rather average, so it's worth it, especially when the weather is good. Tip: There is the El Dorado restaurant nearby. They are a little more expensive, but very good and you feel welcome and well treated.

I've eaten at Antoki several times. I think it's really tasty, yesterday for the first time with my husband. When the waiter wanted to take the order and I started with the food, he asked in a not so friendly tone for the drinks first. Man man found the tone very unfriendly. Since I had been there several times and knew the waiter, I didn't take it too personally. We ordered a starter and two main courses. After a short time we received the wrong starter, I told the waiter that we hadn't ordered it. Then the waiter came and we placed our order. In an unfriendly tone he said we had ordered chicken, I told him again the order, which consisted of three dishes. He then became loud and stroppy and said no, we had ordered the chicken. I asked him to speak to me in a different tone and he went into the restaurant and complained to himself. Afterwards we were served by another waiter. At the end he apologized for the mistake. It would have been ok, but I don't have to accept such an unfriendly, rude manner for the price. It's really delicious there but I won't go there anymore for the time being.

If there were zero stars, I would give them. We had by far the most respectful service experience we have ever had at this restaurant. We were served still water in a bottle that looked worn and the water tasted musty. When we politely asked the waiter about it, he reacted unprofessionally and aggressively. Instead of clarifying the situation, he brought another bottle with the comment that we would have to pay for both bottles if it didn't taste different. To our astonishment, he then complained loudly and audibly about us at the neighboring table, which was extremely unpleasant for us and other guests. Such disrespectful behavior from a service person is unacceptable to us. When we asked about the boss or the waiter's name, we received no answer and were told that it "didn't matter" what happened. For us, however, this is anything but irrelevant. If you value good service and want to have a pleasant evening, we strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. For us it was definitely the last visit.

Incredibly bad service! We came with 2 dogs 🐕‍🦺🦮 and were greeted with the words, with dogs in the back right corner... Then we waited an hour and a half for the food. We weren't asked if we would like to drink anything else, even though the glasses had been empty for a long time. The food was very tasty and nicely prepared. Then I wanted to pay, when no one came, I went inside to the cash register. I was asked to wait outside because the waiter wanted to come and collect the money. He came to 5 other tables, cleared tables, brought drinks to other tables, he didn't come to us!!! I then went back in and wanted to pay at the cash register, but since the card reader was again with the waiter outside at the 6th table (unfortunately this time a table with many people), I had to wait again. After the waiter didn't come back with the card reader after 20 minutes - he was now sitting at the table - I paid in cash and we left. Really can't recommend this service!!! I was too annoyed for so much money...

Very quiet restaurant on the outskirts of Bonn. We were here in the evening and sat outside. It's very nice to sit there. We were thrilled with the food. Everything was very tasty and beautifully presented. The service was very good and nice in the first half of the evening. In the second half he was less and less present. When we wanted to order something to drink after dinner, no one could be found for a while. After our visit, I read in other reviews that the friendliness of the service was rated very differently. I can imagine that the style of main waiter might not be well received by everyone. My impression is that it's a bit like a Vietnamese version of a Köbe (I can't think of a better comparison): It definitely comes from the heart, but perhaps doesn't resonate with everyone in every situation. We liked it. We'll be back.

Wir kamen auf Empfehlung von Freunden. Das Essen ist extrem frisch und schmackhaft zubereitet. Glatte 5 Sterne. Der Chefkellner ist leider weniger genial. Nach Bestellung der Vorspeise wurde wir bedrängt direkt auch ein Hauptgericht zu bestellen,da eine Nachbestellung 2 Stunden dauern würde. Die Nachbestellung der Hauptspeise war eine Sache von 10 Minuten. FAZIT: Qualität des Essens super. Qualität des Services mäßig und gewöhnungsbedürftig. Da die Location gerade im Sommer ein Vergnügen ist und das Essen sehr gut ist,werde ich dem mäßig performenden Chefkellner noch eine Chance geben und wieder kommen.

Looks very nice. Unfortunately the owners don't know what vegan is. Google information says that there is vegan food here and there is also a large vegan selection in the comments, but it turns out that the dishes that were named to us as vegan contain eggs and milk. The allergens are therefore not appropriately noted and dishes are prepared with eggs, for example, even though that is not written there. I think if you're not vegan, it's really nice to eat there. The ambience is great and the dishes sound delicious. However, if you simply want to make sure you eat a vegan diet, you are unfortunately wrong here. We left without ordering.

Wir waren zum Mittgessen dort. Die Außenanlage ist unumstritten sehr schön. Die Qualität des Essens war in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis! Wir hatten eine Vorsuppe und OBAMAS CHOICE sowie FLUGENTE. Die Suppe war geschmacklich gut, aber 9 viertel Champingnons, ein geteiltes Brokkoli-Röschen und Koriander in etwas Kokosmilch sind keine 8 Euro wert. Auch muss man es mögen, seinen Salat in die warme Soße des Hauptgerichts zu tun, denn Dressings gibt es nicht- Ok, das mag landestypisch sein, aber das fast rohe Gemüse und das Schweinefleisch "vom Lavastein" ist nur viel Nepp im Namen! Nicht das Fleisch kommt vom Grill, sondern das Keramiktöpfen, ansonsten ist alles in einer Brühe angerichtet und nicht gegart. "Zart gegrilltes Filet von der Ente" war etwas gekochtes Fleisch, welches man nicht als Ente identifizieren konnte. Auch da war das Gemüse fast roh und sehr übersichtlich im Gericht- wieder viel tolle Beschreibung um nichts. Zu guter letzt reinigte eine Mitarbeiterin die Gefäße für die Toilettenbürsten mit einem Wasserschauch und eine Klobürste direkt am Gaststätteneingang- bei laufenem Betrieb und Gästen, die aßen bzw. noch auf ihr Essen warteten. Dafür lagen die Toilettenbürsten im Damen- WC auf der Ablage direkt neben dem Waschbecken (die Behälter wurden ja draußen gereinigt). Sorry, das geht gar nicht!

You also have to like putting your salad in the warm sauce of the main course, because there are no dressings - OK, that may be typical of the country, but the almost raw vegetables and the pork "from the lava stone" are just a lot of nonsense in the name! Not the meat comes from the grill, but the ceramic pot, otherwise everything is served in a broth and not cooked. "Tender grilled fillet of duck" was some cooked meat that could not be identified as duck. The vegetables were almost raw and very clearly laid out in the dish - again, a lot of great description for nothing. Last but not least, an employee cleaned the containers for the toilet brushes with a water hose and a toilet brush directly at the entrance to the restaurant - while operations were ongoing and guests were eating or still waiting for their food. The toilet brushes in the women's toilet were on the shelf right next to the sink (the containers were cleaned outside). Sorry, that doesn't work at all!

Attention - always get the invoice as a printed version! We had dinner there on Saturday evening. The terrace was great and we also enjoyed the food very much. There were special herbs and the breading of the tofu was very tasty. We both had a bowl and a papaya salad. Unfortunately the green salad wasn't washed properly and there was a hair in the food. That can happen from time to time. At some point we had to move into the restaurant because the mosquitoes bit us - so take mosquito spray with you. In the restaurant we discovered that it wasn't clean and that many places hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The bathroom wasn't clean either. It's a shame - we expected something different. When we paid we realized that the price we were quoted wasn't correct. We paid separately and were then pretty sure the price couldn't be right. After looking at the card, we were sure that we had both paid more. We then asked for the receipts and the waiter became very agitated. With the receipts we had proof: He had charged my girlfriend €3 more and me €2. Small amounts that most people probably wouldn't question if they told you the amount. But these definitely improve his tip! He gave us the money back immediately. Although the food was really tasty, all other aspects had a negative impact on the visit. We felt very uncomfortable and would therefore not visit the restaurant again.

I ate there with my family for Christmas and it was delicious and very attractively presented. I recently ordered two bowls to go and was disappointed. I could have quickly made these myself at home with the leftovers from my fridge. 18 euros was a proud price for that. The restaurant is very loud when it comes to indoor dining. No place for real conversations.
