Viet Pho in Frankfurt am Main

My first choice for food forever!!! Super delicious and good portions, great service.

I ordered food there. First, a glass noodle salad that was more like soup. It looked incredibly unappetizing. I ordered another dish with chicken and received duck. My call to the restaurant ended with me sending an email, which went unanswered. On the phone, they told me I probably wouldn't recognize it. However, it doesn't taste or look like chicken. The only good thing was that the vegetables were very fresh. Nevertheless, I won't be ordering from them again.

Terrible service. I wasn't greeted and was immediately asked, "Eat in or takeaway?" even though I hadn't said what I wanted. The bubble tea was also awful. Never again.

Fast service, good food. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended. Vegan options are very tasty.

I ordered a pickup, that I paid online already, I got a confirmation from the restaurant that my order is ready to be picked up in 10 Minutes. Upon arrival I came up to the counter to inform the lady behind the bar that I came to pick up my order, she raised her voice at me saying I'm in the wrong place, saying I have to go to a different restaurant, she turned her back to me and kept still shouting in her own language. A man stepped behind the bar, wanting to see the email, the adress of the restaurant I ordered at, he was quite nice, the woman then started screaming at him, even slapped his hand when he wanted to give me my order, that was on the bar counter already, I felt a big discomfort and was shocked how disrespectful I have been treated. If I wouldn't have paid for my food already, I would have walked out immediately. I will never be eating there again and I hope no One gets the treatment I got. Thank You for nothing.

Daily menu not expensive but not good either.

Super delicious! The vegan dishes are incredibly good and varied. Viet Pho is one of my favorite restaurants on Berger, and it's also really cozy!

This very authentic restaurant makes you feel like you're in Vietnam. The smells and the food were delicious and freshly prepared. The ambiance is colorful and makes you want to return. The service was impeccable and very friendly.

The very best food I've ever eaten. My recommendation: the crispy duck with udon noodles. It's the absolute best. For vegetarians/vegans, they also offer it with tofu.

Viet Pho on Berger Straße is very easy to reach from the Bornheim Mitte subway station. Viet Pho offers a few tables outside and significantly more inside. The service is very friendly and super fast. I've never had to wait long for my food here. I'd be happy to go back.

One dish (with mango sauce) was okay. The other dish (with soy sauce) was way too salty. The soda was way too sweet. The waiter didn't respond to our complaint.

First, I licked the can of condensed milk that goes into the drinks clean with my tongue, then repeatedly touched the food with my hands, and in between, I also repeatedly cleaned my fingers (with my mouth *smack*). We canceled our order and will never go back. The food tastes really good, for those who don't care.

The food tastes good, BUT! Unfortunately, I had to watch as the lady was making a strawberry milk tea and licked the can of sweetened condensed milk. After she also licked her fingers and touched the food during and after the tea, we canceled our order and left the store. We've eaten there a few times before and don't want to imagine what happens when no one's looking.

Very authentic. The dishes, especially the pho, are very tasty. The restaurant owners are very polite and friendly. It's my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Frankfurt.

Great food, were there twice in the summer and sat outside. This time the 1st time inside. I was shocked, the owner didn't speak loudly, but constantly screamed. All ! Guests were irritated. At first I thought it was an emergency, fire in the kitchen or medical... no, she just screamed in Vietnamese at everyone and everything on her staff. A nogo. When my pulse was at 180, I asked the very nice lady to speak a little calmer. He promised, but ultimately didn't dare. So I tried my best. She immediately said no German, no German! I then translated with translator, no time, no time, work work... was the reaction. I've never experienced anything like this before. So I go back in the summer and sit outside... the food is really very good. Or inside when she's not there. My condolences to the poor servants...if the owner reads this, please act as a role model! Be respectful of employees and guests! If you dare to speak more quietly...then things will definitely go even better for you!

The food tastes good. The service was friendly, but rarely encountered. The atmosphere wasn't all that pleasant because one employee was constantly screaming very loudly.

I ordered via UBER and this time it was completely inedible. Wrong ingredients with dough instead of meat? Is the chef having a bad day? Deeply disappointed and never again

We went to Viet Pho with some friends! The food was very tasty. The service was absolutely friendly and accommodating. When you enter the store for the first time, the furnishings and ambience could have a negative impact on your first impression. However, you shouldn't be fooled. The food was very tasty and the portions were really big. The service was very friendly and the food was served very quickly. Inside it was neat and clean – really recommended.

I find it rather difficult to evaluate. My food was great, no complaints. BUT, my friend's was really bad. He ordered roast duck and it was all full of bones. As if they had simply chopped pieces out of the duck with the hatchet. The entire spine and ribs were covered in food, which was hard to eat.

I ordered three different dishes there at the weekend and picked them up personally. We had 1) MON RANG with duck, 2) CARI DO with duck and 3) MINI WOK All three dishes were perfectly balanced in terms of taste, the duck was crispy, just as it should be. I have eaten there several times and can absolutely recommend the Viet Pho. The food is just incredibly delicious. For me, as well as for my partner and her daughter, it is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Frankfurt!!! I cannot understand the negative entries, and the fact that the employee's non-existent or only partial German language is being judged is absolutely incompetent and, in my opinion, not appropriate in an assessment. There is always someone on site who can answer any questions about the menu.

The place has a nice atmosphere. Service is quick and attentive. But the food is really just mediocre. Chicken was ok but the beef was like shoe sole. That was really disgusting. Portion was also small and too expensive for the price. Cannot recommend this store.

Simply delicious!!! I ordered a curry soup (with noodle, eggs and tofu, the laksa soup) and it tasted great 😍! My friend had a red curry with chicken and was very happy with it too. The prices are also great and the waitress was nice, can only recommend it

Food poorly prepared and it came too late. Never order here again and locally. You can also tell that the preparation does not involve fresh vegetables. Why open a restaurant????

Actually I ordered via W-lt. The food deliveried hot and quick! I ordered Lemongrass crispy duck rice and that was way beyond my expectations. Not that top but very unique because it’s rare to see other Viet restaurants serving fried lemongrass duck like this. Crispy fried duck! On point! I mean lemongrass may not be familiar with many people but I highly recommend this dish. One minus because no forks or chopstick included.

**Terrible!!!!!** The service doesn't speak German, which means you don't get any recommendations. When I found a fly in the sauce on the summer rolls and asked if they could change the sauce, the employee was very upset and responded three times with "What? Ha???" replied. The summer rolls smelled very bad, as if something had expired. The homemade iced tea also tastes very strange. Once and never again.

We ordered food today. Unfortunately, the homemade spring rolls were dripping greasy and the filling looked and tasted very much like a ready-made product. The crispy pork belly was unfortunately not crispy, but not edible because it was completely dry and tough. Unfortunately, he didn't look particularly fresh either. The food was generally not particularly well prepared. What a shame! The chicken skewers were ok, but not a highlight. Overall very disappointing because it was too greasy, not fresh and not delivered nicely. Maybe you should generally reconsider the packaging for delivery.

The place is nice, cozy and the food is delicious. We had ordered tofu and vegetables with herbs soup and it tasted really good. Quantity was enough for two.

I ordered via Lieferando. €5.99 delivery fees plus €0.99 service fees. The delivery person dropped the food. My husband's food was scattered on the sidewalk and my soup was spilled. I called the restaurant. A lady who spoke German very poorly yelled at me. The colleague who then spoke German explained to me that was my problem. You have nothing to do with Lieferando. You don't earn anything from it. I should complain to Lieferando. If you don't earn anything, why offer your food for delivery to Lieferando. The restaurant doesn't even deserve one star. I expect that they will refund me the money or bring me new food because everything was on the floor. If the restaurant says it's not your problem, call Lieferando. This is not customer service. No apology nothing. This is not how you retain customers. During another call, the lady asked if I was Lieferando's wife and hung up again. I will never go there again or order from them again. Totally disappointing.

We ordered and unfortunately it was one of the worst experiences I had. Food only consisted of sauce. Way too little rice. Lean taste and you are lured with a cheap price. In the picture there was a curry with breaded chicken, but no one tells you that you have to order the chicken for an extra charge (why are you putting that in the photo?)

Food was not extremely bad, but as well not so special, but expensive.. I had a mango curry with chicken for 14€. The meat was good but the sauce (more like a soup) didn't taste much like a curry neither like mango.. As a connoisseur of Asian food I have to say there are better Asian restaurants..

I had a vegetarian salad bowl with rice noodles, which was very expensive and not very tasty; The vegetarian spring rolls were dripping with fat and tasted like nothing. I recently had the opportunity of dining at this restaurant, and the food was so delicious! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was great. The menu offered a wide variety of options, each bursting with authentic flavors. I started off with the spring rolls & ordered the My Vit. The duck was very crispy and the broth for the noodles were very good. The desert was some of the best desert I have ever had. The bread was so soft and fresh. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving a genuine taste of Vietnam. I'll definitely be coming back for more pho-nomenal experiences!

I had Bun Bo Hue, Quay, Frühlingsrollen; Banh Xeo and more. The Bun Bo Hue was so flavorful and delicious. It is run by family, the mama is really cute. Her German is not so good so people think she’s rude but it’s just her tone. I totally recommend this place. I’m amazed how they prepare such great food in this tiny kitchen behind the bar.

Probably one of the best places to eat a nice Vietnamese cuisine. The Pho soup was one of the best I tried in my life. The Vietnamese spring rolls were awesome and really tasty. If you would be back in Frankfurt I would definitely come back here.

Die Pho war ein Traum! Die Konkurrenz macht mehr Fleisch rein, weniger Sprossen und dafür mehr Koriander. Trifft meinen Geschmack noch etwas besser, aber grundsätzlich dennoch sehr empfehlenswert.
