We made a previous reservation that was not respected. We needed to wait more than 2 hours to had our meal. The food wasn't good enough. Also, the kitchen was not clean...everything was a mess.

A double-edged sword, because I feel a bit sorry for the owner and am more inclined to not write a review than to write a negative one. The owner is also very nice, but apparently blind to the business and, according to his own statement, convinced that his restaurant is among the top 10 in Frankfurt. What can one say to that? After many years, the two of us visited the restaurant. We arrived at lunchtime and stayed the entire afternoon. Initially, we wanted to sit inside. However, there were about four tables occupied (one of them with about 12 people), so the air inside was very stuffy, smelling of French fry grease, and much too warm. So we sat outside. The photos shown here show the restaurant in its heyday: there are no tablecloths, the floor isn't swept, and dropped cutlery has been lying in the corners and under the tables for a while. While it's worth noting that the waiter wipes down the tables, the cloth is so dirty that I thought it was a floor rag. We ate creamed spinach with potatoes and egg, as well as a pork schnitzel with fries and salad from the lunch special. At €10.90, the lunch special is a hefty price tag. I don't know what the quality was like before, so I can't say if it suffered, but unfortunately I can't recommend it. The creamed spinach was okay, the schnitzel meat was poor quality, and the breading was cheap. The schnitzel was definitely not freshly breaded, as the underside was completely wet, which was due to sitting for so long. The salad wasn't a side salad, but a leaf with half a forkful of coleslaw on the plate. A dressing was placed on top, presumably supposed to be mustard and honey. But it was just mustard, inedible. The cheapest tomato ketchup was simply poured onto the plate and over the fries without asking. The Spezi was stale and unfortunately lacked any carbonation. Since we spoke briefly with the owner, we stayed to later test whether the quality was due to the inexpensive lunch menu. In the evening, I ordered snails and a cordon bleu. First of all, I should mention that the online menu is completely out of date; the actual prices are much, much higher and are completely unjustified for the food there. The snails arrived ice cold. How is that even possible? I sent them back. They came back 3 minutes later, hot. Again, the question: How is that possible? €12.20 for 6 small snails is a steep price. It wasn't real herb butter, but a torn-open pre-packaged package where they'd poured some oil over it, which just made everything watery. Completely tasteless. The cordon bleu had the same problem with the very poor and already soggy breading. The vegetables were completely overcooked, frozen ready-made vegetable mix. Like everything there. You could say there's nothing fresh. How could it be? People liked German and Indian food and anything that could still be frozen. Nothing here has ever been seasoned or refined. Take out the freezer, heat it up, and serve it to the customer. Is this truly authentic German cuisine? I say emphatically not. Prices like a big restaurant, food and service like a small one. Unfortunately, this restaurant is one of the worst in recent weeks.

A frills-free understated neighbourhood cafe that whips up an excellent Pork Knuckle. I’m Chinese so I naturally like my meat and this did not disappoint. No tourists, mostly locals.

Delicious, very clean, Excellent price and quality Any dish you order is of excellent quality. If you like desserts, the strudel with ice cream and the mango with whipped cream are the perfect finishing touch.

Why do you pour the sauce over the schnitzel when it's delivered? The originally crispy coating then becomes super soggy, which is a shame.

We were a large group of 30 people and the store was at full capacity with other guests. The staff was completely overwhelmed and the food overall is massively overpriced. Despite pre-ordering, we sometimes had to wait over 2 hours for our food. No structure at all and just chaos! Quality and price don't match in any way - it's better to eat somewhere else!

We went to the “Immer Satt” in Frankfurt for the New Year’s Eve candlelight dinner and were looking forward to a lovely evening, but were unfortunately rather disappointed. The evening started with a scampi cocktail as the first course. Unfortunately, this only came half an hour after the bread and butter was served, which made the waiting time unnecessarily long. Drink orders were also not actively taken - we had to ask several times ourselves, which seemed unprofessional at such an event. The second course, a clear oxtail soup, was unfortunately very watery, and everyone at our table only found a single small piece of meat in the soup - far below expectations. The low point, however, was the wait for the third course: we had to wait over an hour, while guests at two other tables who had come after us received it before us. The owner's reasoning? Apparently we forgot to express our wishes in good time - a point that I previously saw as the duty of the service staff to make the process go smoothly. The owner apologized personally, but at the same time made questionable statements such as that he was “not concerned about the money, just that the hut is full”. A statement that was frankly irritating and not in keeping with a high-quality dinner. In addition, the food unfortunately had a rather prepackaged taste that seemed unfresh and unimaginative - definitely not what you expect from a candlelight dinner on New Year's Eve. Despite the friendly and attentive staff, the charm of the location and an apology schnapps, the experience was disappointing for what was advertised. For the price and the occasion I would have expected much more. Unfortunately, after this experience, I cannot recommend the restaurant.

Had our Christmas dinner here - a lovely way to spend the evening. The staff were so great and friendly, fantastic service! We ordered from the Christmas set menu, so three courses each, and each course was fantastic. The restaurant was well decorated as well for Christmas, it was a great experience. Would recommend this restaurant. Thank you!

Food took a long while to arrive and felt like microwaved instant food. Owner/waiter actually asked me "how much tips you want to give?" A rude shock. Was pressured to give 20%. Will never return!!

I went to Immer Satt with some local friends. The atmosphere was great, and they could sit with us during the busiest time of the year. The original Weiner Schnitzel was excellent; try the green sauce. They have also selected a nice bottle of Chardonnay. I highly recommend this place.

Even though the place was full, I still managed to get a seat. There is a deduction for the food because the onion soup was unfortunately a bit weak. I've eaten better than that. Otherwise great service and very friendly. So I can recommend.

We had a platter for 4 pax to share and the portion was generous. Crispy pork knuckles was juicy inside and crispy outside. A variety of wurst and also pork schnitzel with mushroom sauce all served on a bed of sauerkraut. Sehr lecker!

Not particularly. Portion sizes are a matter of taste, but I would describe them as small. But cheap. I understand that on an evening when everyone is there you have to wait for your food, but then as a restaurateur I would ask for drinks again. Instead, the service staff goes to buy ice cream at the kiosk. You can also bring a greeting from the kitchen if there are 6 people. So overall rather disappointing.

On the day we were there, the restaurant was very busy, full..., therefore very loud, there were two parties there + walk-in customers, therefore loud.

“ImmerSatt” really convinced me! The portions are generous, so you'll definitely be full here. The food is fresh and delicious, and the central location makes it super accessible. The selection offers something for every taste and the atmosphere is relaxed. The staff is also friendly and attentive. Loved it so much the first night, I took more friends and went back a second night. The nicest and most gracious and caring staff, stellar food and wine. I had worked so late the first night and as luck would have it, they kindly stayed open to make me the most delicious, warming food way past their closing time.. 🙏🏼 Definitely must go!

I used it for the launch. Authentic German cuisine is available. I was recommended an assortment set of all German dishes, and it was exquisite. The apple cinnamon dessert was also perfect. If you're a tourist, this set is the one for you. They also give detailed explanations of the dishes.

Best meal of our trip to Frankfurt

On Tuesday evening we had no reservation and they were very kind to seat us, I never write negative reviews because I'm also a gastronome! But the thing that bothered me was the tip request when I paid! I left a tip anyway but it's shameful! They must have thought we were Italian and didn't want to leave a tip! Too bad I live right here in Frankfurt! For me it's a place that can close! Not recommended

Everything about eating in this restaurant was amazing. The nice gentleman that served us was extremely friendly and made our experience much nicer. The food was delicious, and the salad that accompanied my Schnitzel was the best one I’ve had in a while in restaurants. The prices are also fair for what they serve. One does leave the place immer satt!

Long waiting times, service overwhelmed and therefore unfriendly. 110 minutes waiting time after ordering. Many customers because of the perfect location close to the trade fair grounds. It's not clean either, no towels to dry your hands, I don't recommend this restaurant

We were looking for a traditional German dinner and found it here. The schnitzel with onions had authentic sauce. Spatzel was good, although not quite as good as I had hoped. The meal price was reasonable. The atmosphere was great, and the server was excellent.

They planned to close because it was quiet but remained open for us. We had a delicious steak here and my husband had a schnitzel. Steak was perfectly cooked and a beautifully tender piece of meat. The service was great! Until next time.

It was a very decent and clean environment all the staff were very attentive and I can say that the price was completely reasonable the crowd conditions vary depending on the travel time

At first glance the shop has potential for a nice corner restaurant, but unfortunately not after one visit. I would only go here for a drink, which is ok. The menu does offer special dishes from time to time that seem a little better, but I don't eat out for the dishes on the menu. Here you should probably spend a little more for the quality of your purchase. For me therefore only 2.5 stars.

Service was slow, and we waited quite a while for our meals, despite the restaurant not being too busy; however, there was a very large group for a year-end function, gathering at the restaurant which may have caused the staff to be overwhelmed. We also found our waiter to be rather unhelpful and uninterested in assisting us, despite us clearly being tourists. The food was mediocre, and rather bland, except for the sauces. The pork knuckle seemed to be boiled, and wasn’t crispy at all. I found the outside restaurant space untidy, with a hosepipe reel blocking the entrance we used.

Asparagus soup is a packet soup - no piece of asparagus in it, which dries up for a whopping €9... the bread that comes with it. Unfortunately absolutely not good quality

You can enjoy a wide range of German cuisine at reasonable prices. Of course, Spergel is also delicious and satisfying during the spring season. It's not a very large shop, so if you visit during busy hours, you might not get a good impression of the service.

Although all the outdoor seating was occupied, the service staff made it possible for us to arrange another table from the inside to the outside where we could sit without a reservation. I have rarely experienced something like that. You feel very welcome as a guest. The food was excellent, especially the meat. Highly recommended!

It's a mediocre restaurant. It has nothing to do with a traditional German restaurant. It's a little bit Arabic and a little bit like Mediterranean cuisine.

A bit disappointed with the food... We had asparagus soup as a starter, unfortunately it had a lot of sweet cream on it. My asparagus in the main course also tasted strangely sweet. The salmon with it was okay, but it cost an extra €14, as I later found out. We left with 1x starter soup, 2x main course, 3x glasses of wine and a bottle of water for €102, but we also had to wait 1.5 hours for our food even though the restaurant wasn't very full.

Visited this restaurant yesterday. I had an appetite for Frankfurt cuisine. The restaurant was quickly found and in the immediate vicinity of our hotel. The decor is modern, the music is subtle. The service was friendly and quick. I chose the pepper soup as a starter, but unfortunately it was out. Changed my mind to carrot ginger soup. Unfortunately, this reminded me more of a broth than a soup. The consistency is thin, looks thin. Good taste. For the main course I had the knuckle and my wife had schnitzel with green sauce. Unfortunately, this is where the fiasco began. My knuckle would have needed another half an hour in the oven. The taste, like the side dishes, was mediocre. My wife's schnitzel, partially burnt and by that I mean black. The breading reminded me of frozen goods. By that I mean the entire schnitzel. For the price, even in Frankfurt, not OK for me. We won't be coming back.

It was the worst. Especially Asians should eat outside in the cold! I don't want you to choose the menu because I want you to come out quickly! The staff was really terrible and it was cold. We were there in a larger group. Unfortunately we didn't feel very welcome. When we refused the starter plate we were looked at strangely, when a few of us wanted soup as a main course, only a tiny starter soup came, which tasted good but was far too little. The dessert was very tasty. Unfortunately, an intolerance was not addressed despite inquiries and was subsequently discussed and the guest was blamed. Sorry, it just doesn't work. We will spend our money elsewhere in the future!

Traditional German food. Big portions, tasty food. All good. In a mixed grilled platter, the chicken and the pepper sauce were the best. The pork knuckle was probably a bit more boiled than baked but still very good. Kids liked Schnitzel, and they said it's the best meat. Beer was good(this is Germany). I would come back.

A mouse infestation was discovered. The operating rooms were so contaminated that basic cleaning and disinfection of all equipment and surfaces was necessary. The company was officially closed. Checkpoint 1 Counter / Bar: The floor was dirty, particularly in the edge and corner areas, as well as under and behind the facilities. The base cabinet was contaminated with mouse tracks. The base frame of the glass washer was dirty. Kitchen: The floor was heavily soiled and greasy, particularly in the edge and corner areas, as well as under and behind the facilities. The under-counter shelf in the sink area was heavily contaminated and smelled strongly of a different kind. Detergent was poured into food containers (PET bottles) - a risk of mix-up could not be ruled out. The area under the sink (waste pipe, siphon, water pipe) of the cleaning device for the work tools and equipment was heavily contaminated. Several items made of untreated wood were used. This is not smooth and not easy to clean. The door edges of the dishwasher were dirty. Some of the walls behind the facilities were heavily contaminated. The floor was contaminated with traces of mice (feces and urine), particularly in the edge and corner areas, as well as under and behind the facilities.
