We were there yesterday without pre-ordering and were assigned a nice table. The breakfast buffet was just great, everything was fresh, the staff were very accommodating, I felt very comfortable

Delicious food, great that you can put it together yourself, very friendly staff, in short, worth repeating.

So far we have only enjoyed coffee and cake in the Venga restaurant. The outdoor seating invites you to linger and relax. The fast, friendly and competent service ensures a pleasant visit. The inviting menu will certainly entice us to stop by for a meal.

Today we had breakfast at Venga with 7 people, the staff was totally overwhelmed. Breakfast should be buffet style. Everything was simply missing. We won't go there anymore. It's actually a shame ☹️

The food was very good and, as always, the service was very friendly. Ps Please get rid of your annoying electronic menus. Hardly anyone wants that!

The pasta bake is very tasty and so are the waffles with hot cherries and cream. We like to eat here when we go to the Salienen.

Went there last week, paid €10 for a baked potato and it wasn't tasty. The website says open until 1am on Saturdays, arrive at 11:30pm and we are told they close. Top loading shitty service

Very large and spacious restaurant. Very nice and modern furnishings. There was a little too little legroom at our table for me, which is probably why sitting became uncomfortable after a while. The food was good and plentiful, the prices are ok, the extras were too expensive in my opinion. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Update October 11, 2024 For me the quality of the food has decreased. We had 4 different burgers and all of the burgers were far too dry and the meat was also very dry and hard. The fries were unsalted and very limp. The extras and the drink prices are very high.

We had pre-ordered and had dinner here with 17 people on Saturday. The menu offers a good selection of dishes.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everyone loved the food and will definitely come back. The photo shows a chili cheeseburger. Unfortunately I only have this photo. Venga earned 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

We were there for breakfast. The breakfast and the service itself were good. Breakfast is served until 11 a.m The croissants were already sold out by 10 a.m. When we asked if there were any left, we were told it would take 20 minutes and the kitchen said they weren't baking any more! It's a shame because we had just started eating breakfast and were waiting - we had also said this, after all it was still 45 minutes until 11 a.m.!

Basically a good breakfast buffet. What I didn't like: No milk with coffee, we got it in a glass from the muesli bar. Labels or descriptions on the buffet are missing. Cable to the warming station laid open. We didn't like the ham, we found it bland. Service staff not friendly to the limit.

We had breakfast at Venga and were very pleased with the large selection of the buffet. It was always freshly refilled by the very friendly and helpful staff. Gladly again.

The one star that you apparently have to give is already too much. We waited on the terrace for 30 minutes without being able to place an order, the employees probably can't see that well... The same thing happened to three tables around us. Everyone would understand if they were kindly pointed out that there is a lot to do at the moment, etc. Instead, the service employee explained to the lady at the next table in a shameless tone that “he only has two hands and not all employees can start at 12.00 and work until evening”. Maybe he should look for a job without customer contact. Anyway, we went to another store...

Once again extremely unfriendly. We tried to get a table in the restaurant at 4 p.m. in heavy rain with a toddler and a stroller. There were reserved signs on all the tables except for one, but we were told it would be too big for us. Then we looked for a smaller table. Then we were told that this table could only be occupied for 45 minutes. Sorry, but it couldn't be more unfriendly. Never Venga again, and especially not with a child.

Delicious. Unfortunately, the fries were too salty and the avocado dip was too peppery. It will definitely be better next time.

We were there last night. The food (Venga burger) was delicious and the service was very friendly. I can't complain about the waiting time being too long, after all the restaurant was well attended. Everything was great for us.

Unfortunately we had to wait 1h40 for our food, the service was friendly but overloaded. The dishes served were okay: we had casserole and bourgeois, but they weren't particularly special given the average prices.

Your advertisement: For us it's about joy of life and enjoyment. Whether young or old, family, friends or business partners. Our reality: I reserved a table for 3 people at 5:30 p.m. on July 31st. When we arrived we were accompanied to the terrace by an employee and given the menus. That's it. We waited for a full hour without being asked what drink or food we wanted. Our multiple attempts to draw the attention of a waitress to us all failed. Quite annoyed and pissed off, we didn't leave the restaurant without making some serious complaints at the counter. So much for the advertisement: joy of life, which we completely lost that evening with you.

Food quite good, service staff tried very hard, but unfortunately mercilessly understaffed. Waiting 1.5 hours for the order is an absolute NO GO! It's a shame, something like that quickly ruins the actually good first impression.🤷‍♂️

I personally don't like it. I find it impersonal, the service poor and the food expensive and no better than in a snack bar.

The burger was tasty, but unfortunately the atmosphere wasn't that nice because the noise surrounding it was already very loud.

Serve well, fast, nice. Unfortunately there is only a small menu for the balloon festival, for example pizza is completely missing. However, all dishes are €1 more expensive than on the normal menu. You take what you can get. A pity.

The Venga in Kevelaer is located just outside the city center and offers plenty of parking spaces on site. For family reasons, I've had breakfast here twice and was disappointed both times. Visit 1 happened in April 2023, it was a Monday morning, and two other people were having breakfast at Venga next to us. There was enough food on offer, but everything had been on display for quite a long time and was therefore showing signs of dryness; there were cold, dried-on scrambled eggs. Visit 2 occurred in May 2024, also a Monday morning, we had made reservations for 5 people. No space was saved for us, we were simply allowed to choose one of the numerous free tables. It was better attended than on our first visit but far from full. We sat down at a table set for four, but waited in vain for a fifth place setting and then took it from the neighbor when he left. (The other tables were not set) The food was fresh, but it took a very long time to be added (if at all), so there was no boiled egg available at the beginning of our visit and none was added when we left, the same with water and much more. But I was particularly disappointed by the quality of the goods. When I go out for breakfast I don't expect Aldi quality cheese and cold cuts, I don't eat them at home because they don't taste good.

A sensationally good hotel, not quite in the center, but just close to the city. Super-friendly service both at reception and in the breakfast area, extremely helpful. Very good breakfast, very quiet, clean rooms. Good parking spaces right in front of the door. It takes about 12 minutes to walk to the city center. Top address in Kevelaer, also for AD/sales people on overnight trips.

We were completely forgotten. We were then allowed to order drinks 45 minutes later upon request. Very unfriendly reaction from the staff. It's completely okay to wait longer for food when it's full. But then at least the staff can be friendly and not insult the guest. Very unfortunate!!!!!

We had dinner there with friends at the weekend. My food and drinks were good, as always. However, the service was not good, so we won't be coming back. We found the cellar that served us to be very unprofessional and disrespectful towards the guests. We had to wait a long time for our drinks and new drinks were only taken after a long time, even when the glasses were empty. He walked past us regularly and there was usually a lot to do. The same thing happened at the next table; there was a group of young women sitting here. The group at the next table had something to complain about with one of their drinks. The waiter's reaction to this was not good at all. The women were rudely told that there was as much alcohol in the cocktail as always, instead of simply bringing a new one. People then talked about the table and made fun of each other with the kitchen staff and at the counter. Rude and then stupid when the other guests see it. Even if we weren't directly affected, we just felt uncomfortable.

We waited almost 90 minutes for food. Service was catastrophic Food was sufficient No recommendation from me.

The range of food on offer is large and the dishes are quite tasty. The location, especially outside, is great. Therefore it is very busy here in summer. However, this also leads to sometimes enormous waiting times with friendly but often completely overwhelmed service.

Had another great meal yesterday, tuna steak with lobster cream sauce, risotto and salad, followed by the obligatory Tarte Tartin. Greetings and compliments to the kitchen, see you next time.

Everything is great, only the room design is a bit very dark with the many black walls, which the glass windows can bring out with the beautiful view, but only when the sun is shining, otherwise it is quite dark. But the rest is really great, the food is great and you can taste the effort that went into it. The service is more than friendly and has a good look at whether you need anything else and is very helpful. All in all 5 stars. Only the dark interior design is a little annoying but that's a matter of taste

Weird service. After asking whether we could sit outside, there was only a groan and an announcement that we had to take everything outside by ourselves and the colleague was then frantically asked whether this was even possible. The cocktail menu is great and in summer you can sit outside. Only the acoustics inside are very "loud" when there is a lot going on. But that's no reason to deduct a star.

Für Solegarten - Gäste sehr enttäuschend, das von 11.00 bis 14.30 Uhr Mittagspause ist, praktisch kein Mittagessen angeboten wird und auch kein Cafebetrieb ist. Vorher ist Frühstücksbuffet/Brunch, wohl dem Hotel im gleichen Haus geschuldet!? In Kleve sieht das im Venga ganz anders aus.

Byliśmy ze znajomymi na wieczornym wypadzie w miasto. Koleżanka zaproponowała miejsce, gdzie można smacznie zjeść i miło spędzić czas. Byłem pod wrażeniem..... Bardzo smaczne jedzonko, ciekawe drinki i wszystko w mega klimatycznym miejscu w super cenach. Wspólnie z żoną stwierdziliśmy, że mamy nowe, super miejsce na degustację i randki. Polecam !!!!! 🥰

Πάρα πολύ νόστιμο μπεργκερ μεγάλο και ζουμερό σερβίρεται με πατάτα. Το περιβάλλον ήταν παρα πολύ ευχάριστο και το σέρβις άψογο σχεδόν όλο το προσωπικό πέρασε από το τραπέζι μας και μας ρώτησε αν είναι νόστιμο.

Location und Personal Top. Was allerdings die Bewertung drastisch runter zieht ist das minderwertige Fleisch auf den Burgern. Zu dem Preis muss frisches Rinderhack zur Zubereitung genommen werden und nicht ein TK Gummilappen der nach muffigen Karton schmeckt. Eigentlich schon eine Frechheit.

Wir waren mittags hier und es war nicht voll. Unser Kellner war sehr freundlich und hat sich ganz toll um uns gekümmert, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Essen war bei allen sehr gut. Pulled Pork Burger und Pommes haben prima geschmeckt. Wir haben mit 3 Personen 70 Euro bezahlt. Das ist ziemlich im Schnitt mit anderen "normalen" Restaurants. Das Ambiente und den Ausblick hier fand ich aber deutlich besser, als anderswo.

Gemütliche und entspannte Atmosphäre bei angenehmer Beleuchtung (abends). Freundliche Bedienung und super leckere Gerichte. Z.B. Maronensuppe 😋

Bis jetzt immer zufrieden gewesen, vorallem den Chicken Wrap find ich super und das Tiramisu ist auch zu empfehlen. Sehr schön eingerichtet.

Ich war schon des Öfteren mit meinen Freundinnen dort, entweder zum Essen oder einfach zum Kaffeeklatsch. 😉 Allein die Waffeln mit heißen Kirschen und Eis sind ein Gedicht! Dazu noch supernette Bedienung - was will man mehr! 👍👍

Wir waren schon ein paar Mal hier. Das Essen ist ganz OK, aber da bin ich auch wirklich pingelig.. Manchmal laufen die Kellner oft an einem vorbei und man kommt nicht an neue Geräte tränke. Ist aber noch nicht soo oft passiert. Sitzen tut man ganz nett. Vor allem wenn man bei gutem Wetter einen Platz draußen ergattert. Dort ist es ruhig und windgeschützt.

Burger waren verglichen mit anderen Restaurants enttäuschend. Ich glaube nicht mal das es an der Zubereitung lag, sondern eher an dem verhältbismäßig minderwertigen Fleisch. Brot, dips und bruscetta waren aber top und zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente halte ich für überbewertet: mir war kalt und es war laut. Die Türe scheint einen defekt zu haben, sodass sie nicht schließt wenn jemand das restaursnt Unachtsam betritt. Da ich nah an der Türe saß überlegte ich schon sie zu schließen. Jedoch befürchtete ich dass wenn ich damit anfangen, sich alle auf mich verlassen. Daher ließ ich sie auf. Service war nett und aufmerksam aber das kartenlesegerät ist abgestürzt und wir mussten unnötig lange warten bis wir das Restaurant verlassen konnten. Für mich persönlich ein wahr gewordener Albtraum. :D Fazit. Wir werden zum essen nicht nochmal ins venga gehen. Einen cocktail mit Freunden und ein bisschen fingerfood ist wohl drin, sofern man eine Jacke, oder einen Platz fernab der Türe bekommt. Hundefreundlich!! Empfehlung: Backfisch mit Fries oder auch genannt "Fisch and Chips".

Ich war jetzt die Tage dort das Essen war eigentlich nichts besonderes es hatte zwar schön ausgesehen aber geschmacklich wirklich nichts besonderes. Die Getränke aber waren supper die große Auswahl an Cocktails und Weinen war supper. Trotzdem gebe ich nur 3 Sterne.

Leider ein schlechter Service, lange Wartezeit für Getränke. Aber freundlich. Die Toiletten könnten mal frischen Wind gebrauchen (Lose Armaturen und unansehnliche Mülleimer).

Da wollten wir Mädels mal nach unseren Feierabend einen Cocktail trinken gehen, haben uns gefreut das Laut Internet bis 1 Uhr geöffnet ist, um 23:45 wurde uns gesagt das jetzt die letzte Runde ist, schade. Bei der ersten Bestellung hatten wir Nachos mit Dips bestellt, als uns gesagt worden ist das wir jetzt die letzte Runde Cocktails bestellen können, haben wir gefragt ob wir noch Nachos haben können damit wir unsere Dips (von den wir noch sehr viel übrig hatten) nicht wegschmeißen müssen, dies würde aber verneint das würde nicht mehr gehen… und mit der Frage ob wir die vier Dips einpacken können damit sie nicht in den Müll kommen auch noch komisch angeguckt wird und zusätzlich nochmal mit der Kollegin gelacht. Ps: die Öffnungszeiten könnten dann auch gerne korrigiert werden

Il luogo mi piace molto, ci vado spesso a mangiare e bere con i colleghi di lavoro. Danno la possibilità di scegliere tra tante opzioni di bevande e piatti da gustare. I panini sono veramente ottimi, le patatine fritte croccanti e saporite. Personale giovane e cordiale. Ci ritorno sempre volentieri.

Perfektes Restaurant für einen gemeinsamen Abend.

Ansprechendes Ambiente mit guter Auswahl an Essen und Getränken. Das Lokal überzeugt vor allem mit toller Lage und einer super Auswahl an Getränken 🍹.

Ich war gestern das erste Mal im Venga in Kevelaer. Das Essen war mega lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und echt „auf Zack“. Toiletten sehr sauber. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Daumen hoch.

Super leckeres Essen und die Burger sind wirklich mächtig. Man kann aus mehreren Saucen zu den Pommes wählen auch Guacamole und Trüffel Mayo. Schöne Auswahl und auch eine Monatlich wechselnde Zusatzkarte. Personal sehr freundlich und das Lokal ist sehr ansprechend. Man kann auch schön nach dem Essen noch ein wenig im angrenzenden Sole Garden die Seele baumeln lassen.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit trendigem Publikum

Frühstücksbuffet ist zu empfehlen.
