Goldener Schlüssel in Kevelaer

Once again, an excellent evening with an imaginative yet not overly extensive menu, far from the usual boring standard. The wild hare leg in juniper sauce with potato dumplings and creamed savoy cabbage was a delight, simply delicious. The Oxtailclaire warmed the heart and soul in the currently foggy, gloomy weather. Many thanks to the kitchen crew for the exquisite dinner and the attentive, professional service. I can only recommend heading out quickly to enjoy the excellent wild hare leg before it hops off the menu...

The food was good. But it was very loud.

Located in the heart of the city, it was very spontaneous and affordable. It was a few years ago, but it was very nice and cozy.

This restaurant and hotel appears to be closed or worse still, defunct. Shame as its in a lovely central location.

The best German food. Being Indian I rarely enjoy German food as it tastes not so delicious for me. But in this restaurant, it's super delicious. 5 star restaurant. Very reasonable price. 9.90 euro French fries salat and schnitzel. All in big portion.
