The restaurant was full. The service was at our table super quickly and brought the menu straight away. Immediately asked if we knew what we wanted to drink. Drinks were brought and our food order was taken. That we wait a bit We were aware of having to wait on our food. The wait was worth it. Our pancake was super delicious. We were also asked whether we were satisfied with our food. Every table was occupied and yet the staff was very attentive. We'd love to come back.

5 stars are far too few. Just came in and was served immediately. My child was treated kindly and immediately offered a child-friendly meal!!! The service staff was very knowledgeable and the most important thing!! The food was super delicious!!!

A great restaurant in a beautiful city! The restaurant is attractive, stylishly furnished and invites you to linger. There is a large selection of sweet and savory pancakes, but also alternative dishes. Everyone can really find something here 🍳 The portions are quite large. The owners and staff are very nice 👨‍🍳 EC card payment is possible and the price-performance ratio is right. We can recommend the pancake house 🥞 with a clear conscience and would be happy to come back.

The pancake was delicious, but the service was subpar! It wasn't full and of the four women serving, only ONE knew enough German to take the order (and collect it). The other ladies (not) cleared tables completely and brought the food.

After an hour of waiting... they forgot about us.... With the excuse that the cook was doing some shopping.... While other guests... did get...

Price and quality in relation. We had one schnitsel with asparagus and one with champion cream sauce. No regrets, it was delicious. Too bad about the water feature or fountain on/near the terrace, the splashing of the water is very irritating.

Super nice service, super thin pancakes with fresh mushrooms, highly recommended. Very clean restaurant. Chairs and tables are cleaned with hand brooms then wiped with a clean cloth. Every chair in the outdoor area gets a seat cushion. All in all very recommendable.

I'm disappointed. So disappointed that this is the first review I've written. Waited far too long for service. It's still okay. We then ordered waffles... and what can I say... the waffle was made from the wrong dough, the cherries from a supermarket jar and the worst ice cream I've ever eaten. And I can't say anything good about the cream, because it was already completely liquid when the plate arrived. Oh and the waffle was rock hard. Never again :/

Eine tolle Empfehlung ist das Pfannkuchenhaus Hollandia in Kevelaer. Man findet eine Riesenauswahl an Pfannkuchen und Spezialitäten aus Sri Lanka. Toll sind z.B. die Sri-Lanka Röllchen. Unser favourite sind die süßen Pfannkuchen mit Kirschen oder mit Blaubeeren. Sooo lecker! Die Inhaberin ist supernett und man fühlt sich einfach sehr wohl. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder. 5 Sterne, perfekt!

All in all very nice and good. Unfortunately, the pancakes are not necessarily made according to the description or picture. Suddenly finding strawberries that you're allergic to on your pancake... I would also have liked the somewhat helpless handling of this situation to be different.

Very nice restaurant in the old town of Kevela. Nicely decorated. Super friendly service, delicious food. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether the pancake dishes justify the high price in my opinion. I decided on one of the many alternative dishes (asparagus schnitzel with salad and fried potatoes). The fried potatoes came from the deep fryer, which was also announced when ordering. I would come back there at any time.

There were three of us who ate there and all three of us loved it. The ambience is very nice, everything is bright with lots of small and loving details. The service is excellent. Friendly and approachable employees. We felt very comfortable. The food was very nicely prepared. Not only super tasty, but also designed for the eye. The selection of sweet and savory pancakes is large and the price-performance ratio is right. But there are also other dishes than pancakes. Even the toilet was clean and beautifully designed, similar to an oasis of well-being. Everything was just right and we would love to come back.

Diverse selection of pancakes, approx. 100. They all tasted great, looked very good, in short: just delicious.

Friendly service, food was very tasty, large menu with lots of choice. Too bad we had to wait a very long time (45 minutes) even though it was certainly not full. The savory pancakes are especially recommended, the pancake with apple was very thin and a bit dry.

We ended up there by chance (because card payments are possible there, which you can't expect from everywhere in Kevelaer) and were very positively surprised, the atmosphere was very nice and clean, the food was very tasty, we almost finished our plates. The service was very nice and good advice. If we come to Kevelaer again, we will come back.

We were there 2 weeks ago on the shopping Sunday. Great weather, city was full. Sat right in front of the restaurant. Ordered apple pancakes and a Belgian waffle. Coffee and cold drinks came relatively quickly. Even though I would have liked the coffee with the pancakes. Everything was also very tasty. But we waited almost an hour for the food. People at the table next to us also wanted to get up and leave. The staff was completely overwhelmed, some of them didn't know what the others were doing. Nobody knew where which order went, or something wrong came out of the kitchen. Everyone was very nice, but organizationally it was a disaster.

Am ersten schönen Wochenende diesen Jahres waren wir zu 4. in der Kevelaerer Innenstadt unterwegs. Das Restaurant hatte zur späten Mittagszeit draußen ein paar Tische und Tafeln aufgestellt. Die Auswahl war riesig und teilweise sehr exotisch. Probieren konnten wir jeder leider nur einen Pfannenkuchen. Geschmacklich haben sie überzeugt, Service mega, Ambiente passte auch. Volle Punktzahl. 4 Personen, Essen, Getränke, Kaffee und Trinkgeld - 92€

Wij hadden de pech op het foute moment te komen. Het koffiemachine was kapot [later een gratis kopje] de kok maakte het verkeerde gerecht en alles duurde heel lang. De pannenkoeken waren heel lekker.

Everything was perfect here and the friendliness of the staff is exceptional. You rarely experience something like this these days and that's why it's a little gem. We were here with 2 families and children after a trip to Irrland and were given a very hospitable welcome and the food was also great! Every one of us, even the children, ate everything. This really shows how amazing the dishes were. Many thanks to the hosts for the great, delicious evening. We will be back!!!

Geweldig! Afgelopen vrijdag zijn we na een dagje Irrland (speeltuin in de buurt) met de hele familie (39 personen) naar dit restaurant gegaan. Personeel was super vriendelijk. We mochten buiten alle tafeltjes tegen elkaar aan zetten, het personeel hielp zelfs mee. Het eten was erg goed bediening erg vriendelijk en snelle service. We hebben heel gezellig gezeten (toen het donker werd met kaarslicht) op het pleintje tegenover het restaurant. Dit restaurant is zeker een aanrader! Tip: het restaurant zit in een soort winkelstraat, dus je kan er niet voor parkeren. Wij hebben onze auto bij een supermarkt geparkeerd vlakbij

uns wurde gesagt wir dürfen nur schnitzel bestellen, was für einige vegetarier von uns erstmal schon problematisch war. es hat trotzdem ewig gedauert, bis wir unser essen bekommen haben, jedoch haben wir vorher noch das falsche essen serviert bekommen ! das personal wirkt total unfreundlich und überfordert, nicht wirklich zu empfehlen …

Der Service war langsam aber freundlich. Belag / Beilage vom pfannekuchen / Schnitzel convenience. Bratkartoffeln aus der Tüte. Auch beim bestellen und später bezahlen mussten wir lange warten. Beim kassieren wurde 1€ zu wenig berechnet. Wollte sie trotz Mängel (es fehlte auch Belag) nachkassieren

Ich komme sehr gerne in das Pfannekuchenhaus, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und das Essen schmeckt fantastisch. Die Atmosphäre in dem Restaurant ist sehr schön und man fühlt sich wohl. Bei der Außengastronomie neben dem achrchinoah Brunnen fühlt man sich wie im Urlaub. Das Pfannekuchenhaus ist nur zum empfehlen und man sollte es aufjedenfall mal besucht haben.

Today I was in Kevelaer with my girlfriend and ate a Puszta schnitzel there, I give it 5 stars, it was so delicious, the schnitzel was definitely fried in the pan, the fried potatoes and the salad, just great!

Schnitzel was very tasty, even if it was quite small. BUT, if you order FRIED potatoes and get fried potato slices, unfortunately that's not possible. Then you shouldn't write fried potatoes on the menu. A pity. Service could have been A LITTLE more attentive. We waited a long time for the bill. Not to mention the forgotten pot of coffee.

Mijn familie en ik kwamen naar dit restaurant onderweg naar de kerk. Dit restaurant gaf ons een hartelijke verwelkoming. Bovendien was het eten uitstekend en was het eten snel bereid. Het eten kwam namelijk binnen een kwartier tijd. Daarnaast is het sanitair in dit restaurant zeer netjes en aangenaam. Het terugkomen is het zeker wel waard. Dus ook wij zullen terugkomen! :)

Nergens anders zulke goede friet gegeten, maar ook de pannenkoek was verrukkelijk, goed belegd, niet te zoet. Wij komen terug!

We were welcomed a bit stressful and with many difficulties due to Corona measures. It felt unfriendly and a wrong atmosphere. The food might be good, but we moved on and found much friendlier places where we got the time to show the Corona papers we needed. Not a tip!

After a canceled flight, my companion and I stopped at this nice restaurant at short notice to have a coffee. The service was very friendly and the drinks came very quickly. In addition to the drinks we ordered (already quite cheap), we each received a free eggnog with cream without asking - delicious! We are therefore happy to recommend this little gem in Kevelaer.

Samstag 19.00 Uhr. Lahmer Empfang, aber wir saßen draußen zu dritt. Da keiner für einen Teil der Tische zuständig schien, Karte selbst geholt und drinnen an der Bar Kellner direkt aufgesucht. Kellner nahm Bestellung auf, nach 20 Minuten wurde die Bestellung ein zweites Mal von der Chefin sehr zuvorkommend aufgenommen. Nach einer Stunde ohne Getränke und Essen wurde uns dann jedoch mitgeteilt, daß der Koch streikt und es nichts mehr gäbe - anscheinend nicht mal Getränke. Das ist ein Rauswurf erster Klasse.

Wir hatten sehr leckere süße und herzhafte Pfannkuchen und wurden nett bedient! Die Lage in der Fußgängerzone mitten in Kevelaer ist perfekt. Wir saßen draußen unter Bäumen und nebenan plätscherte ein Brunnen. Perfekt für Jung und Alt. Kommen gerne wieder 😋

Recomendamos aos que desejam comer algo em Kevelaer que procurem outro restaurante. Fujam desse. Sentamos nas mesas externas, ao lado de uma fonte, e fizemos o pedido às 14:23 h. O primeiro prato chegou às 15:05h, mas o da minha esposa, que era um Pfannkuchen, algo fácil de fazer e rápido, não veio. A atendente foi ver e disse que tinha preparado o prato e esquecido de trazer. Chegou logo depois, mas a comida estava totalmente fria. Reclamamos e disseram que iam fazer outro. O garçon veio levou o prato e em pouco tempo trouxe o mesmo requentado no micro-ondas. Reclamamos à Gerente e ele levou e falou que ia providenciar um novo.Isso ocorreu por volta das 15:15h. Quando eram 15:45h nos levantamos e fomos à gerente novamente reclamar. Ela disse que tinham esquecido de fazer o novo Pfannkuchen. Um total desrespeito. Nos revoltamos e pedimos para pagar. Para nosso espanto havia ainda na conta uma cerveja que não tínhamos pedido. Realmente um DESASTRE TOTAL. NÃO VOLTO NUNCA MAIS.

Die Auswahl der Speisen hält für jeden Geschmack etwas bereit. Auch die Gerichte aus Sri Lanka sollten mal probiert werden. Vom Ambiente über die Sauberkeit bis zum Geschmack der Speisen....alles super und empfehlenswert. Einziger Nachteil: Es ist relativ weit von meinem Zuhause entfernt, sonst wäre ich sicher noch öfter dort ;) Vielen Dank den netten Betreibern !

Wir haben diese Tagesrestaurant durch Zufall entdeckt und sind dann irgendwann mal hin. Die Spezialität sind ca 100 verschiedene Pfannkuchen, von Süß bis Herzhaft, von Traditionell bis Exotisch........und ALLE auch GLUTENFREI. Wir hatten schon Apfelringe mit Rosinen und Blaubeeren. Auch herzhafte Varianten mit Speck, Schinken, Salami und Zwiebel. Alle waren sehr lecker....aber unser Favorit ist Apfelringe mit Rosinen!! Und wem Pfannkuchen nicht ansprechen, für den gibt es auch Traditionelles, wie Schnitzel, Fisch usw. Die Eigentümer verstehen ihr Geschäft und bleiben auch bei großem Andrang sehr ruhig und gelassen und vor allem immer freundlich und gut gelaunt. Es macht Spaß auf etwas Süßes hierhin zu gehen.........und außerdem ist auch ein Pfannkuchen eine komplette Mahlzeit.

Wir hatten keine Pfannkuchen, sondern ein köstliches Linsencurry. Würzig und sehr lecker. Aber auch die Pfannkuchenam Nachbartisch sahen sehr gut aus. Empfehlenswert!
