Wunderschöne Terrasse mit Blick auf den Hafen und die Ostsee

Schön platziertes Lokal. Preise sind Inselpreise. Da muss man sich im klaren sein. Das Essen war Lecker. Deshalb für jedes 1 Stern. Service... Naja... lässt sehr zu Wünschen übrig. Da werden die Teller abgeräumt und über einen drüber gegriffen wenn man noch am Essen bzw. Trinken ist Das geht garnicht!

Ein schönes und gutes Restaurant mit tollem Meerblick, für Abends und am Wochenende unbedingt reservieren. Die Fischgerichte sind sehr lecker 😋, die angeschlossene Eisdiele liefert zum Abschluss noch super leckere Eisbecher.

Tagliatelle leider lauwarm, fad und Lachs nicht gefunden... überteuert und nicht zu empfehlen.. Personal bemüht.. schade, Lage lädt eigentlich zu viel mehr ein..

Haben dort zwar nur Eis geholt, aber das ist eine glatte 1 mit Stern 😉, die Dame hinter der Theke sehr freundlich und immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Leider ist der Urlaub vorbei und ich werde mein Heidelbeer Joghurt Eis vermissen...

War noch nie so enttäuscht, bzw unsere Männer haben noch nie so hungrig ein Restaurant verlassen! Bandnudeln mit Sizilianischen Pesto Lammspitzen und Ziegenkäse 🤨Pesto war definitiv billig und Ziegenkäse fehlte komplett! Bandnudeln Lachs- Fisch ist min 3 mal gestorben! Und vom Schollenfilet kann man nur abraten, was für Kinder! Das erste und letzte mal ! Aber die Ausssicht war schön🫡und dieFischbrötchen in Wismar waren das Highlight 😅

Ich bewerte nicht das Essen, weil wir nichts gegessen haben. Wir waren abends dort und haben uns zwei Cocktails gegönnt: einen Mojito und einen Aperol Spritz. Beide Cocktails jeweils um die 9 €. Beide Cocktails schmeckten wie aus einer Fertigbox bei Netto gekauft, also eine Zumutung und absolut ungenießbar. Nicht nur keine gute Qualität sondern wirklich schlecht. Dazu Kartenzahlung erst ab 20 €, zwei der zwei Geldautomaten in Timmendorf hatten einen Systemfehler, funktionierten also nicht. Somit haben wir uns noch ein Wasser dazu bestellt, um mit Karte zahlen zu können. Das Wasser war ok. Wunderschöne Natur, die Infrastruktur und der Service in der Gastro sind aber in den 1990ern hängengeblieben, siehe auch die umgebenden Gastroangebote - das ist nen Trauerspiel. Die Preise dafür exorbitant im 21. Jahrhundert angekommen. Der einzige Lichtblick in der Gastro ist hier in Timmendorf das RAPHAEL Café. Modern, einladend, gemütlich, angemessene Preise und ein sehr netter Service.

Nach einem Spaziergang an der Küste entlang, haben wir hier eingekehrt zu Kaffee und Kuchen. Beides war übrigens sehr lecker. Wir saßen draußen an der Sonne und konnten den herrlichen Blick auf den Hafen und der Ostsee genießen.

Eine wunderbare Einrichtung, erstklassiger Service, immer freundlich,höflich, auch jedes Essen aus diesem Restaurant ist sehr lecker. Die Atmosphäre von Italien ist sehr angenehme Musik💗✨✨🔥

Tolle Lage aber das Essen schmeckte leider gar nicht. Trockene, zähe Lammfiletspitzen, billiges angeblich „original sicilianisches“ Pesto, schmeckte wie von Aldi. Auch die Kinderburger waren nicht lecker. Schade.

Das Restaurant Vella’s hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht aufs Meer. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gemütlich und stilvoll. Das Essen war frisch, lecker und perfekt serviert. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich der freundliche und aufmerksame Service. Man kann dort einen entspannten Abend mit sehr gutem Essen genießen. Ich würde Vella’s definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Erst das Gute: die Lage ist top. Das ist allerdings das einzige was toll ist. Essen ist in Sosse getränkt. Kein Eigengeschmack vom jeweiligen Fisch möglich. Mangososse war für mich wie ein AprikosenGelee. Tagliatelle hat nur nach Sahne geschmeckt ohne jegliche Gewürze. Die Rinderstreifen konnte man zählen. Es wird ein Premium Wasser serviert "PUREZZA", wir haben bemerkt, dass es aufgefüllt wurden ist. Wir haben nachgefragt, ob es Leitungswasser ist für Euro 7,90. Nein, es ist Wasser aus dem Fass, hieß es. Nach Recherche, war diese Aussage wohl gelogen. Es ist Regionales Leitungswasser, welches durch ein Filter nochmal bearbeitet wird. Uns, zu teuer dafür. Wir waren leider sehr enttäuscht 😞 du zahlst viel für die Aussicht nicht für den Genuss. Schade!!!!

Leider befinden sich die Exklusivität der Lage mit den Speisen nicht im Einklang. Und es ist auch nicht die Örtlichkeit für italienisches Flair.

Wir haben sehr feinen Fisch gegessen. Der Service war hervorragend. Würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen. Die Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer ist zu empfehlen.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen im Vella’s Restaurant & Loungebar und hätten es nicht besser treffen können. Wir saßen draußen in der Sonne und konnten den herrlichen Blick direkt auf den Hafen genießen – Urlaubsfeeling pur! Besonders hervorzuheben ist, wie willkommen wir uns gefühlt haben: Wir waren mit unserem Hund dort, was überhaupt kein Problem war. Der Service war super tierfreundlich und aufmerksam. Auch kulinarisch war es ein echtes Highlight: • Schollenfilet: Frisch, butterzart und handwerklich perfekt umgesetzt. • Tagliatelle mit Rinderfiletspitzen: Sehr zartes Fleisch und eine tolle Sauce. Wer auf Poel ein modernes Ambiente, gutes Essen und einen tollen Ausblick sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! Wer nur Imbiss kennt, müsste mal was anderes ausprobieren. Ansonsten immer wieder gerne.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Essen, Innen,- und Außenbereich. Direkt am kleinen, süßen Hafen. Sonnenuntergang von dort besonders schön.

Netter und bemühter Service. Das war es leider auch mit dem positiven. Wir hatten zwei Fischsuppen (Wasser mit einem Stück Fisch und der Rest Weißbrot, nicht mal angeröstet) und zweimal die Scholle. Die war derartige mit Basilikumpesto überzogen, dass man nichts mehr geschmeckt hat. Dafür war der Preis unverschämt hoch. Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.

Wir waren im Vella's To Go für Eis und Kaffee. Man konnte sehr schön auf der Terasse sitzen und hatte einen schönen Blick aufs Wasser. Eis und Kaffee war Top.

Hier gibt es leider nicht so viele Sterne. Der Service war in dem Sinne gut, dass wir schnell bedient wurden. Das Ambiente ist dort gut, man kann schön über den Hafen zur Ostsee schauen. Doch das Essen…., meine Frau hatte Zanderfilet, war sehr schlecht. Und das meine ich auch so. Ein Koch muss doch merken , dass ein Gericht mit Fisch schlecht riecht. Vergammelter Fisch, das war hart. Sie bekam ein neues Gericht. Doch , dass irgendetwas aufs Haus ging, ein Getränk oder so, keine Anzeichen ! Und wir haben dort keinen Aufstand veranstaltet, was hier manche Leser garantiert als angebracht halten. Mein Essen hingegen war sehr gut, Oktopus. Wenig Trost trotzdem. Das ist hier vielleicht nicht mit anderen positiven Rezensionen zu vergleichen, Andere waren zufriedener. Und ich möchte hier auch nicht das Restaurant in den Schmutz ziehen. Doch wir gehen dort nicht wieder so schnell hin.

Ich war in diesem Restaurant zum Mittagessen, alles war köstlich, aber das Tiramisu war besonders lecker. Die Kellnerinnen waren sehr nett und freundlich. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und kann es nur empfehlen.

Echt ein gutes Restaurant. Ich hatte Zander der top zubereitet war. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Preise sind der heutigen Zeit angepasst und nicht zu teuer.

Went there for coffee and cake. The service was friendly and attentive. But the food was a disaster. The weapons I ordered weren't fresh, but from a packet. The strawberry sauce was overly sweet and didn't taste like strawberries. The prices were also completely exorbitant. The value for money isn't right. At least the view was nice.

We were here for lunch on October 17th. We were looking for solid food and came across Italian cuisine plus fish dishes. Quite overpriced for Poel. Too bad, the location is good, and so is the interior. So we wandered into the small shopping street and found what we wanted!

Beautiful location, nice outdoor seating. The food was good, although for me (chicken breast with potatoes and vegetables) it was quite limited for the price. The lobster pasta was enough for my husband. The lobster was cut in half, so it was easy to reach. For that "adventure" feeling, you could even crack the scissors yourself. A highly recommended restaurant!

A place to be 😍 Such a lovely place to linger, by the small harbor with a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea! The restaurant and ice cream bar are highly recommended. The service is very friendly, and the ice cream and coffee are simply fantastic 👍 Our new favorite is sea buckthorn ice cream... We only had drinks, so we can't comment on the food. The service was very fast, but unfortunately a bit rushed, even though not all the seats were occupied. Our table neighbors were treated very strangely, which was a bit off-putting.

We received a friendly and prompt welcome at the Vellas Restaurant and were given a lovely table overlooking the Baltic Sea. The food was excellent and to our complete satisfaction – we can therefore definitely recommend the restaurant. I would, however, like to make one small point: The staff seemed a bit reserved at noon and not quite as welcoming as you might expect from an Italian restaurant. It would also be nice if they didn't clear plates while someone was still eating. This is, of course, complaining at a high level, but it makes a big difference to the overall impression. All in all, a great restaurant with delicious food and a beautiful location – we'd love to come back!

Unfriendly person at the ice cream stand who deliberately didn't understand me when I asked about a lost item. The ice cream was mediocre. I can't recommend it.

I think the food here is delicious, and I think you're very nice and it's very chic here. It's the best restaurant I've ever eaten at.

The ambiance is truly beautiful, and the location on the island is truly unique. Unfortunately, the kitchen service varies considerably – the quality and taste are unfortunately not consistently good. Yesterday, for example, the pasta with fillet tips was served with just ordinary rump steak on tagliatelle, and the pasta with fresh truffles was completely missing. When asked, the only answer was that the truffle piece was too small to shave... So, it's better to have no truffle at all but still pay the full price. It really could be better.

So far, we've mostly been there as a hiking destination, for a glass of wine and a light snack. The appetizers are delicious, and the wines are excellently selected. We also went there for dinner and were not disappointed. The ambiance inside is very pleasant, and the terrace is sheltered from the wind.

The schnitzel was frozen. Very small, flat, and rock-hard. Simply inedible. A definite no-go for a restaurant. I wouldn't eat there again.

Priceless: the sunset at dinner

The food was very good. The fries were unfortunately unsalted, but you can add salt yourself. The prices are a bit high, but the ambiance is beautiful, with a great view of the small harbor. I highly recommend it.

A fantastic view of the harbor. The quality of the food was excellent. The service was very attentive. The quantity of food was at best sufficient. Not recommended if you're hungry or with teenagers. You'll simply wake up hungry without an appetizer and dessert. In other words, while the service and quality are good, the value for money isn't there.

Great place to unwind. We had two cocktails, a mojito and a caipirinha. Both were delicious 😋. The prices were reasonable, and the service was very friendly and prompt. Great view of the harbor and the Baltic Sea. The only annoying thing is the amount of mosquitoes late at night. It's best to wear long clothes.

The food, service, and view from the terrace were all very good. Only the faucet in the bathroom was off, which was a bit of a shame, as it didn't fit the overall impression.

The best coffee within a 15km radius!

Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The tuna tartare bore little resemblance to a real tartare – coarsely chopped pieces of fish on a bit of avocado, completely unseasoned and carelessly presented. The fish soup consisted mostly of soggy white bread, the fish content was minimal, the flavor was bland, and unconvincing. Overall, much of it seems ambitious, but the execution falls far short of the price. They demand a lot here – especially when it comes to payment – but in return they offer neither quality nor a coherent culinary experience. Not like this.

Small portions and big prices. The chef tries to push us to order an appetizer. We won't be coming back here next year.

We ordered grilled chicken schnitzel with baked potato and seasonal vegetables... what arrived was a large plate, two mini schnitzels, a potato, and nothing more than a smear of gray-brown something. (Unfortunately, no photo). After pointing out these "vegetables," the waitress told us, "But no one has complained yet!" Then we had a cup of stracciatella. Just joking, I asked if it had eggnog in it. It actually came with about a pinch of liqueur. However, it was charged an extra €2.50 on the bill... The staff was friendly, the view was good. I wouldn't recommend the food.

Unbelievable today, unique from the outside but... The service was obviously not in a good mood today. The worst thing was wiping everything with the same cloth, and the menu too. Just disgusting. 🤪 a no-go.........

The tagliatelle was delicious, as it was homemade, but not asking if you'd like anything else for 50 minutes after eating is unacceptable. The service was also sweaty, and the table setting was rudimentary, especially since the tables weren't clean and the pepper and salt mills weren't filled and looked more like they hadn't been used years ago. Opening hours aren't officially posted either. It's a shame, as the place has so much potential.

Negative 2 aperitifs for 17.90 euros without any appetizers, a shame because the place is beautiful.

Good view, unfriendly staff, unfortunately!

We spontaneously stopped by with the kids for an ice cream sundae this afternoon. We received very friendly service, and our special requests were accommodated very well. The sundaes and cocktails could have used a bit more garnish. The taste was excellent. Although card payments are accepted, it didn't work due to the poor Wi-Fi connection.

Enjoy the stunning view from the terrace on a bike ride along the coast. We didn't eat there, but the food looked delicious at our neighbors' tables. The drinks were good, the service was very friendly and attentive, and the restrooms were clean. So, go there and relax outside in the sunshine.

Very, very friendly staff. The food was also delicious. The weather was very bad, and despite dogs, which aren't actually allowed, we were offered permission to come in, which is a huge bonus. We are very satisfied and happy.

Poor service. The incorrectly delivered food was not replaced. Instead of at least expressing regret, we received a rude response and the implication that the fault was ours. Given the location right by the sea, this is unnecessary; disgruntled guests are replaced by plenty of walk-in customers.

Were here twice. We were very satisfied every time. The staff was always courteous, very nice and professional. The food was excellent. You can't get enough of Stella's panna cotta. Any time. Thumbs up.

“Waffle with strawberries” for just under €10: Squishy heart waffle swims in really sweet industrial strawberry mash, a medium-sized strawberry is cut open and then a 2mm thick slice is draped on each of the 6 hearts. Small scoop of ice cream and a tablespoon of fluffy cream. That's not how good gastronomy works. Not recommended.

There were three of us. The ambience is very nice. We have been coming to Timmendorf for over 50 years and always eat at this place, mostly fish. The food, breaded cod, grilled with rosemary potatoes with a side salad, was unfortunately disappointing. The fish was dry, the rosemary potatoes were swimming in fat, were mushy and the entire meal was lukewarm. However, I liked the way it was served. Our grandson wanted to eat pasta with tomato sauce, but a little more than a child's portion. We were then offered that we could order two children's portions. We shouldn't have done it because he didn't finish it because it really wasn't good. Pasta with tasteless red sauce, no parmesan on top and cold too. Conclusion: We will never eat there again.

A lackluster fish sandwich to go, it has two varieties, and they don't understand if you want herring and not salmon. It's right next to the ice cream, a strange layout.

We moored in the marina for one night. Everything was just right, very good attentive service, delicious food, fish soup and Vella's tagliatelle. Price-performance ratio is really good. The view and the terrace with wind protection are an absolute highlight. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back.

We spontaneously stopped by Vella's. Unfortunately, it took a little longer due to the large number of guests, but the food was excellent! The view from the terrace is unbeatable! One more server would be good, so the rest wouldn't have to rush around so much. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Located right on the harbor you can eat well with a beautiful view. The service is very friendly and quick. We'd love to come back.

We were here in November and were very happy that at least this restaurant was open, as tourism on Poel comes to a complete standstill during this time. There was a small menu with soups, lasagne and fish sandwiches that were completely sufficient as a snack. There were also great ice cream sundaes and coffee variations.

From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the sea. The staff were very friendly. The cheesecake is highly recommended and delicious.😊

We chose this restaurant because of the beautiful view. So we were in good spirits and very happy with beer and wine - then came the "food". We immediately sent the oysters back and the carpaccio was ice cold and bland. The "fish soup" consisted of warmed pureed tomatoes and a few tasteless pieces of fish. The pike-perch swam lifelessly in a roux that tasted unseasoned like cheap white wine. The wrong grappa was brought by a 6-7 year old girl after pointing out the bad food - an absolute no-go! Our mood was therefore outraged, which we were of course rewarded with 90 euros.

Never had such a bad Caipi. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails too expensive. Number 15 Price-performance okay, but for this price in the Hummerkorb restaurant in Warnemünde I ate better with a larger portion. Fish soup was okay too. Child-altered dish: Fish fingers with buttered noodles are fine, hard to go wrong. Dessert: Pana Cotta Top. Also according to my relationship, although I prefer to eat crème brûlée. My wife thought the food was good. It is desirable from the service to take empty drinks with you in between meals.

Due to only 1 star....disappointed...with the food.....baked potato, horrible, how long in the oven,.....bruschetta, not good. Look at the old market. Bruschetta in Wismar, that's oulität........goulash soup no go.....

Unfortunately it is no longer the good fish restaurant we knew from previous vacations. But we were also disappointed with the food, we had the worst pasta I've ever eaten and it wasn't cheap. It's a shame that you treat the guests like that... you don't expect much anymore, but you should be able to offer simple pasta. . Unfortunately, at some point the great location doesn't count for anything.

The location is great and the pasta was ok, hence 2 stars. The rib eye steak was really a disgrace. There came two tiny pieces of meat, both less than 1cm thick. At first I was almost happy, after the first request to look at the meat again, the food came back, the same meat just grilled again. It was inedible, as was the grilled vegetables that were probably left over from the celebration the day before (it was simply old and slightly bitter). All the food was returned, but was still charged in full. So if you want expensive and bad food, this is the place for you.

Food (salmon) not cooked through, bill wrong with drinks that weren't ordered, food overpriced...

Very nice restaurant, great location, nice staff and wonderful ambience at sunset. Unfortunately we have to deduct a star because the service seemed chaotic, orders were mixed up and food was forgotten. Also, 20 minutes after we ordered, the waitress came and reported that the spare ribs were out. She didn't have a card with her and my husband had to give an alternative on the spot. Unfortunately we didn't think that was that great. The food was very nicely prepared, tasty, but unfortunately only lukewarm.

Nice restaurant, right on the small harbor, next to the well-known lighthouse, fast, good service, friendly service. We enjoyed our drinks outside overlooking the boats in the harbor in the bright sunshine. What more could you want?

I had dinner at Vella's with my wife today and all I can say is pure excitement. An absolutely beautiful ambience, super friendly, careful service staff and price performance is also okay for the location. I had a rib eye steak and my wife had a rump steak, both medium, the quality was very good. Simply recommended. And for everyone who complains about price/performance, then you're better off at the chip shop with currywurst and fries. You simply pay for the ambience. We will be happy to come here again.

The worst food we have ever eaten in a restaurant. The food wasn't hot, vegetables were too salty, potatoes tasted very bad like they were cooked a few days ago and only warmed up. Not recommended
