Highly recommended! A good selection of drinks and food, something for everyone, and very tasty! The staff is very friendly and efficient. Beautiful, modern, maritime decor. It's best to make a reservation in advance, as it's always packed. 😊 We'll be back!

So, 5 stars plus from me... We have been there several times and have ALWAYS been served in a friendly, courteous and good manner... I have never been disappointed by the food either, it was always freshly prepared and tasted very good, I would definitely recommend this restaurant

Located right on the promenade, the food is really good. I'm currently on vacation here and went for dinner with my girlfriend. We had the fish platter. The tartar and herring were a bit too salty for me, but that might be just me. Everything else was perfectly cooked, simply delicious.

We visited the restaurant this week! It has a lovely ambiance, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! We felt at home! We ate the turbot they offered – it was dripping with fat, and there was no discernible flavor – it just tasted of fat! At this price point, the chef should have a bit more skill! Offering half a liter of "Rostocker Pils" for €6.60 is pretty steep! We won't be going back to this restaurant!

The waitress went to the bathroom before me and didn't wash her hands. So, there's no point in rating the rest of the meal (which was quite good). What a shame!

I found it very cozy. The staff was very friendly. I had a schnitzel for dinner, nice and thin, with a nice, light coating and a good flavor.

Never again. The food wasn't bad, but the staff was terrible. Despite having a reservation, they left us standing in the lurch. Only after asking did they take care of us. Apparently, there's only one person in charge. The others are there to clear up. We'll never go there again.

We've been spending our summer holidays in Warnemünde for several years now, and we regularly and very, very happily visit the restaurant "Am Strom." Aside from the fantastic location, the service and cuisine are equally outstanding. The food is always a seasonal feast, transformed into a feast by the personalized and exceptionally good service. I was delighted to get a table on the lovely terrace overlooking the water during an early afternoon trip to Warnemünde. I had the breaded plaice fillet with fried potatoes and cucumber salad, as advertised on the display. The fish was fried to perfection, and the side dishes were very tasty. The house Pinot Gris wine went very well with it. Also worth mentioning is the extremely friendly service staff. If I ever find myself in Warnemünde again, I'll gladly visit this restaurant again.

Unfortunately, the service here doesn't quite match the prices. The food was okay for the price, but when the steak is almost dead even though you order it medium rare, it's not justified. We were here with a larger group, and almost everyone paid for it themselves. It's incomprehensible that only one person can/is allowed to check out. The checkout process took almost half an hour for everyone. The waitresses sometimes didn't know which order belonged to which table. For these prices, you can definitely expect more.

Super flexible cuisine and service. The fish soup flavored with Pernot is delicious, and the fish dishes are excellent. A large, hungry group (28 people) is no problem. Kid-friendly, too.

A bit overpriced, but otherwise good value for money. The fried potatoes were average, but the fish and mustard cream sauce were really great.

We're guests here every time we visit, and for good reason! We love the food and the exceptionally friendly staff!

The food was, as always, delicious. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service this time. When we came in, the lady looked at us and turned her back. The tall gentleman, who was also really nice, then showed us a table. After about 10 minutes, the lady came back to the table and asked us if we needed cutlery (we had reserved the day before) and placed it in the middle of the table. During our meal, we were served by the nice gentleman. At around 9:30 p.m., the lady started setting the other tables for breakfast the next day, and the coffee machine was already turned off even though we were still eating. We found this quite disruptive and it ruined the atmosphere. Only towards the end did the nice gentleman come back to ask if everything was okay (the tables were already mostly set). When we got up and wanted to put on our jackets, the lady was already standing behind us, waiting for us to leave. No goodbye and the table was cleared immediately. Unfortunately, very disappointing.

We stumbled upon the restaurant quite by chance while strolling along the Alter Strom late one Sunday evening and were able to choose our own table. The menu has something to suit every taste; if you like fish, this is the place to go. The staff were very friendly during our visit, and our drinks and food arrived quickly. Great atmosphere, and the price/performance ratio is right.

A successful evening in the “Am Strom” restaurant in Warnemünde. Very nice staff, delicious food from starter to dessert. Great selection of drinks, we recommend the melon Caipi and the “Mühli” nightcap!!! Our dog also felt very comfortable. We would love to come back!

Very friendly, nice and funny staff. They also take time for a little chat. Even without a reservation, there was always a table for two available for us. We felt very comfortable. The plates were very generously filled. A must for all holidaymakers. We look forward to seeing the friendly team again on our next vacation. 👍🤗

Nice and attentive staff, attractive restaurant and good food. We had the fish platter with three different types of fish, which was fresh and crispy. We were able to choose the side dishes to go with it. If you like fish, this is the place for you.

The service was friendly and attentive, which is a positive thing. The taste of the food was okay, but unfortunately the portions were too small for the price. I had a schnitzel with asparagus, which was well prepared, but just didn't fill me up. Points are therefore deducted for the price-performance ratio. If you value large portions, you might want to eat somewhere else.

A nice cozy restaurant with nice staff and great food. The fish pot was great and the Camembert starter was also a decent size! However, a drink that was ordered again was not brought even when asked. But we'll definitely come by again!

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience. The Weiner Schnitzel was as thin as a leaf, it was more breading than schnitzel, my wife had duck leg which wasn't tasty either, unfortunately we didn't like it at all

We found the food to be ok, but not in keeping with the 5 star reviews here and the price level quoted. Seasoned without any spice, rather deep fryer-like dishes - Extra sauce - with lots of sauce thickener €4.50...

I sat outside for half an hour...no one came!!

We took a day trip to the Baltic Sea. We then strolled through the city and noticed the restaurant. Ambience, food and service great. Of course there's only one cook, but good food takes time even with five cooks. The children were welcome and that was really great. The food was delicious and we will go to the restaurant again next time ☺️

The three of us got a place straight away, but we probably won't go there again. The salad was drowned in too much ready-made dressing, the rib roast was basically just belly fat and wasn't seasoned well. So that wasn't great, and unfortunately there's nothing comfortable about the furnishings either.

Fish is prepared deliciously, there are various side dishes and sauces. The service could be a little more accommodating.

As of January 1st We got a place in the restaurant at short notice, thank you again for that. We were warmly welcomed, everyone was very friendly. There is absolutely no criticism when it comes to the food, everything was perfect. As a starter we had a Mecklenburg fish pot and goat cheese thalers. Then the main course was the gourmet fish and the entrecote 300g with herb garlic baguette. We would love to come back!

We visited this beautiful restaurant as part of a burial at sea. The table was reserved for us and set accordingly. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Our food was very tasty, a big thank you to the kitchen staff! The restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

Had a very nice evening! There were 8 people for whom the tables were quickly put together. Structurally a bit tight but okay, what do you want to do? The food itself was very tasty, I personally was missing salt, but there were salt and pepper mills on the table so I could season it myself. The service was friendly and quick. For the record, we were there off-season in November!

First of all, the service staff were very nice and committed. The food is better. The crust on my knuckle was more like a pork knuckle. Unfortunately it wasn't baked crispy. If necessary, place in the fryer for 30 seconds before serving. The potato pancakes were more like frozen goods in terms of taste and appearance. The pumpkin soup can be eaten, but it should have a little more finesse for a restaurant that puts a few pumpkin dishes on the menu especially for the fall season. Summary: The staff made it stand out with their friendliness.

Simply a highly recommended gastronomic experience that we were able to enjoy on October 6th, 2024. This very lovingly furnished restaurant is worth an experience, from the friendly acceptance of our table order to the drinks served during our visit to the very good, perfectly flavored dishes and the extremely friendly service staff. Unfortunately, there will always be guests who will find something to complain about. We would like to stay out of this group of people with full conviction, as we had nothing, absolutely nothing, to complain about. But one thing has stuck in our minds: We will be happy to visit this restaurant again and be captivated by its all-round excellent charm. A big thank you to the entire crew for making this a successful evening, including thanks to you.

Great, well-kept hotel... The only thing that takes some getting used to is the underground car park - you can go down there in an elevator. Otherwise convenient location, very courteous staff, delicious breakfast.

Salmon fillet with 7 croquettes wasn't really enough, tasted okay, but for just under 20 euros, I expected a little more. Dessert, on the other hand, was super tasty and highly recommended
