The boat terraces are practically an insider tip, slightly off the beaten track along the Alter Strom. A lovely little restaurant located right on the water. From the patio, you have a fantastic view of the Alter Strom. The food is good, home-style fare with a maritime focus. If you want to enjoy fresh fish right on the Baltic Sea, this is the place to be.

A great way to explore the Baltic coast on your own. We rented a boat there.

Not cheap. Quiet location. You can also sit on the jetty and be served there. Pedal boats and boats are available for rent...

A small fish restaurant with an outdoor terrace and boat rentals. Located off the beaten track, it's a 5-minute walk from the train station. Fast and friendly service, along with good food at reasonable prices.

The schnitzel with fried potatoes was very good.

The food was unfortunately poorly presented – a fish sandwich for €7 should be anything but. The fish was so tough it was almost impossible to chew. The staff was initially friendly, but when we commented ("The sandwich is borderline bad"), they simply responded with a cheeky "Yeeeees..." instead of an explanation or apology. Unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend it.

I secured a spot by the river at the last minute. The kitchen was actually almost closing time, but the staff made it possible at short notice. The food (fried fish) was delicious, and the spot with the view was simply fantastic. The whole thing is a bit out of the way, which was really nice...

Lovely terrace by the water. Perfect afternoon sun (you don't get that across the street). Naturally, we ordered fish. The "viermaster" (four-master) consists of four types of herring and salmon. Definitely not cheap. The salmon tartare was also delicious. The service wasn't pushy.

It's a bit off the beaten track, a bit of a long walk, but it offers good, inexpensive food and a great evening sun + river panorama. You just have to be a bit lucky to get a spot, otherwise the walk will be in vain....

This is our third time here. The cod fillet was super delicious, and the service was quick and friendly. We'd love to come back! 🫠😋

Everything was great. We rented a license-free motorboat and received a brief, thorough briefing. After our tour, we had lunch on the boat deck. The food was fresh and delicious. 👍🍽 A successful day!!!

It is often overlooked that from the train station, in the direction of "Alterstrom", it is somewhat hidden on the left before the bridge. Very good food, extremely cheap for Warnemünde, friendly service.

Not even worth a star. Unfriendly staff. We simply kept the deposit because we allegedly damaged the screw. The engine on this boat was not working properly. For me it's just a rip off.

Solid food! However, I'm always more interested in renting a boat here and it's TOP! Price/performance is right here and there is nothing better than anchoring on a sandbank in the Rostock Heath by boat and going for a swim. No sand between your teeth and complete relaxation.

Very nice atmosphere, especially in the evenings you can enjoy the sun. When we are in Warnemünde we just have to eat here. A very friendly welcome from the service staff is guaranteed. If you had lost your smile until then, it will be back when you greet us. The food is simply delicious and very lovingly prepared, you automatically get a delicious salad with an impressive dressing with almost every meal. We recommend the salmon tartare and also the matjes tartare and the freshly caught cod and... :) We will definitely come back because it is so beautiful here.

Great location right on the water with a great view and delicious food. Were here for the first time, even though we are often in Warnemünde, and we're wondering why we've never discovered it before. Now we know the restaurant and will definitely come back more often...

I can't rate the food because I only rented a 15hp boat there. The service was very good and friendly, the instruction was good but quick. 2 hours 70€ and 100€ deposit were reasonable, the boat was in good condition.

Very bad impression, we went out with a boat and booked for 2 hours, then drove back for 15 minutes and got no understanding. We didn't get any money back, we were just spammed by the boss. I can't recommend anyone, that's pretty cheeky Addendum: I already mentioned no goodwill, no understanding, nothing and the contract is also a joke

Garden restaurant in a quiet location in the hustle and bustle of tourism with a manageable menu... and a completely unexpected quality that is simply fun with a great view. Cod fried simply in flour, but of great freshness and quantity... with a lot of flavor. Truly a tip...

On a trip to Warnemünde you should at least stop here for a glass of Alster or a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful location with a view of Warnemünde. The service is very good, the employees are always friendly and the food tastes delicious and is always fresh on the plate. In my opinion the best location in Warnemünde when the weather is nice. I prefer to sit on the benches right by the water. Keep it up.

The food is very simple and the price does not correspond to the quality. It's probably so expensive because it's a tourist place. A dish costs from 20-25 euros.

A nice location, away from the hustle and bustle. There is something for everyone on the food and/or drink menu at moderate prices. The portion of cod fillet was more than adequate and not only tasty but also visually appealing. However, the tables and the building could use a sprucing up.

Good service, good food, would love to come back, good view

The meals in the “Bootsterassen” restaurant were largely satisfactory. Beautifully prepared and served by friendly and helpful staff. The following day we rented a boat, which can be operated without a boat license. This went smoothly and after a short introduction we started. Gladly again :)

Ist immerwieder einen Besuch wert

The food resembles a nuclear accident. And that's putting it kindly.

Small but nice. The service is simply great. The food is delicious and the view is really nice and cozy. As a guest you have the feeling of being welcome and that is reflected in everything. Since you can only sit outside you should dress well, but that's really not a problem. Simply worth a visit and we are already looking forward to the next time.

Echt lecker, ordentliche Portion und obwohl so nah am Herzschlag der Tourismushauptroute angenehm ruhig und in schöner Umgebung. Der Service war voll in Ordnung. Hier würde ich noch einmal essen.

Tolles Restaurant direkt am/ im Wasser. Fischrestaurant. Preiswert mit Riesen Portionen für den großen Hunger. Das Personal ist hinterher und sehr freundlich. Parkplätze auf der Mittelmole für 3€ für 3 Stunden. 5 Minuten Fußweg. Wir waren schon mehrmals dort und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Zu empfehlen ist das Dorschfilet mit Salz- oder Bratkartoffeln. Dabei auch ein großer Salat der frisch ist und schmeckt.

Nicht gegessen deshalb keinen Stern. Gemütliches Ambiente zum chillen

Man sitzt sehr schön am ruhigen Teil des Alten Stroms. Die Gerichte sind schmackhaft, es gibt frischen Fisch und große Portionen. Selten wird man so höflich und freundlich bedient!

Tolles Restaurant, sehr gut am Alten Strom gelegen und tolles Essen. Wir wurden freundlich bedient und haben - wie es sich an der Küste gehört - ein Fischgericht bestellt. Wir hatten uns für gebratenen Dorsch mit Bratkartoffeln entschieden. Das Essen kam heiß auf den Tisch, war eine gute Portion und das Fischfilet hat super geschmeckt. Das Restaurant ist eine echte Empfehlung!

Einfach nur toll..... Bei bester Ambiente,cillig sein Essen genießen,was immer echte Hausmannskost der Küste und vieles mehr ist.....einfach lecker..... Die Getränke immer frisch und kalt bzw wie man sie haben möchte.....Es wird einen fast jeden Wunsch der Warnemünde Gastronomie geboten.... Der Ort das Essen und das echt freundliche Personal-ist in Deutschland echt selten geworden..... Da kann man echt mal danke sagen...... LG

Echt schöner Ort und ein Top Essen!

Wir haben nur was getrunken . Man kann gut mit dem Boot 🚤 dort "parken " Leute dort sehr freundlich und aufmerksam .

Regelmäßig in der Saison steuern wir Warnemünde an, um uns selbst mal eine kleine Auszeit zu gönnen. Genauso regelmäßig sitzen wir am Abend meistens in den Bootsterrassen, weil man hier auch einfach nichts verkehrt macht. Das Ambiente direkt am Wasser ist toll, das Personal sehr nett und bemüht, die Hausmannskost, die dort serviert wird, ist immer sehr reichlich und schmeckt super. Klar, gute Dinge brauchen manchmal etwas Zeit. Lehnen Sie sich zurück - entspannen Sie sich. Etwas abseits von der Hektik des Alten Stroms können Sie den Sonnenuntergang bei einem Glas Wein genießen und dem Wasser beim Glitzern zu schauen. Es gibt wirklich schlechtere Orte um auf ein gutes Essen zu warten. Klare Empfehlung von uns, wenn der Strandtag einen perfekten Ausklang haben soll.
