Delicious food, a large menu, and generous portions at reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit!

We stopped there at 7 pm for dinner and a few drinks. The drinks arrived relatively quickly, but the food was slow. We were put off several times, sat on the terrace, and by 8:30 pm it was too cold to sit outside. We asked the waiter if we could move inside, as it was getting too cold. He said he'd take care of it, but we couldn't get a table, even though several tables inside were empty. Finally, at 9 pm, the food arrived: two schnitzels with asparagus and boiled potatoes, which we had to eat in the cold. The food itself was absolutely terrible. The asparagus was completely overcooked, the hollandaise sauce had already formed a thick skin, and the schnitzel... well, it was more like shoe leather in breading. Oh, and we paid 80 euros including drinks. Several other guests also complained, both about the wait and the poor quality. Restaurant's excuse -> CORONA Corona has been over for a year and a half and is no longer an issue. You really can't blame Corona for the fact that the food was terrible and took hours. The restaurant is just lucky that it relies on tourists, who come once and never again like we did…

The worst creamed spinach I've ever eaten. The rest of the dish on the plate was somewhat edible. Service was okay, but nothing special.

Unfortunately, we cannot agree with the reviews. We were there today around 5:20 pm and ordered pike-perch fillet with Brussels sprouts and fried potatoes. Everything was very greasy, the fried potatoes weren't crispy but mushy, the fish was probably swimming in grease, and there wasn't a lemon slice. Only the Brussels sprouts were nice and crisp.

The food wasn't very good, unfortunately. We had the impression that it was "packet sauce," the red cabbage was from a jar, and even the dumplings weren't homemade. The appetizer arrived a bit late, after we'd already had our main course.

We were at this restaurant on November 5th, 2025. We strongly advise everyone to steer clear of it. The first server was a very nice young waiter. It was very hot in the restaurant. We asked them to turn off the infrared heaters. Then a very unfriendly waitress came who refused. We ordered plaice fillet with fried potatoes. The fish was frozen, and the fried potatoes had no bacon or onions. The cucumber salad was the only thing that tasted good.

There were four of us at lunchtime. Although we were the only guests, we had to wait a long time for the menu. After that, everything was very quick. So quick, in fact, that I wondered how they could cook in that time. Despite this, the food was only lukewarm. Unfortunately, it was also tasteless, with the exception of the cucumber salad. The fried potatoes were the worst – undercooked potatoes, practically swimming in grease. When it came time to pay, we were only given a card reader showing a total, with no breakdown of what we owed.

A very nice restaurant, in the oldest building, on the middle pier. It is always well attended. The food is delicious, fresh, and plentiful. There is a good selection of cocktails, including non-alcoholic ones. The only reason it loses one star is because the toilets are only accessible via a small wooden staircase on the first floor.

If you're looking for an inexpensive and tasty lunch, this is the place for you. A great location, a lovely outdoor ambiance, and extremely friendly and attentive service. My wife opted for a schnitzel with creamed wild mushrooms and croquettes (€20.90), my sister-in-law for a farmer's breakfast (€10.90), and I for fried fish with fried potatoes and remoulade (€11.90). All three meals were delicious and plentiful. We just barely managed to finish them. I highly recommend the lunch menu; in my opinion, it's one of the best in Warnemünde in terms of value and taste...

On August 16, when my child turned 8, we went to a restaurant. Unfortunately, we were asked to leave because one of us had the tip of a bun. The waitress was very rude and, despite our willingness to place an order, told us to leave.

I'm on vacation in Warnemünde with my sister. We wanted to go out for a nice dinner on Friday evening. There are many good restaurants in Warnemünde, and choosing is very difficult, as even at this time of year you have to pay attention to the price-performance ratio. This time we chose the harbor restaurant "Meerle." We received a very friendly welcome and were assigned a table. The menu has a wide selection and the prices are reasonable. We both independently chose the fish platter with three different fish dishes, mustard sauce, cucumber salad, and fried potatoes. The food was plentiful, beautifully presented, and we both enjoyed it very much. The staff is very friendly, the drinks were served promptly, and we didn't have to wait long for the food either. We were very pleasantly surprised and can definitely recommend the restaurant.

Not a memorable visit: 👎 Fish was tough. The staff took the criticism without commenting. We would have preferred a free espresso or a discount. That could be better 🤦‍♂️ 🤔 Please describe the wild mushrooms in more detail. It felt like they were 80% mushrooms. They definitely didn't come from the forest. The cucumber salad was the highlight.

After our short harbor tour, we were a little hungry and were looking for an affordable restaurant. "The Meerle Harbor Restaurant" really caught our attention as we walked by. We also thought it was great that they had a lunch special until 4 p.m. The food appealed to us, so we decided to go inside. The staff was very nice...they asked us if we wanted to eat inside or outside. We were allowed into the winter garden, which was very pleasantly air-conditioned. Our daughter was also given something to paint with to tide us over, which we thought was really nice. When our food arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was delicious, my son said. Our daughter also really enjoyed the Bolognese. My partner had the fried fish, which he loved, and I had the smoked pork loin. All the dishes were very tasty and filling. 2025 Warnemünde Harbor Festival. There were two of us and we were unsure where to get something good because the prices were high everywhere (festival and all), and if it was on the coast, it was fish. We stopped in and were greeted warmly and found a table by the window. We really haven't eaten this well in a long time. We had cod. Once with chanterelle mushrooms, fried potatoes, and salad. And cod with shrimp, fried potatoes, and salad. The portion was almost too big. Everything was brought to the table fresh and really hot. We will be back.

Beautifully located on the "Alter Strom" (Old Stream), with a cozy spot by the open floor-to-ceiling window and a great view of the promenade. We opted for fried fish and a fish platter, each accompanied by a bowl of sensational cucumber salad; just the way we like it. Extra points for the hot water in the very clean restroom. Scheinbar ist nicht jeder Groschen gern genommen, gerade wenn er von Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung plus Betreuer kommt. Aber gut , wir sind ins Nachbarlokal dort wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient!

We chose the Meerle harbor restaurant for lunch because everything on the menu sounded good and the prices were fair. After we ordered, the food arrived 10 minutes later. I ate it back after the first bite. The food was cold, which the waiter took back without apology and 3 minutes later brought the same plate (heated in the microwave) back to my table. I had asparagus with buttered potatoes and schnitzel. For €23.90, I expect fresh asparagus, not frozen vegetables. And that in asparagus season, when you can buy fresh asparagus at the market next door. And to top it all off, the asparagus was drowned in ready-made hollandaise sauce! Buttered potatoes from a jar, not even a hint of butter. Disgusting! And the schnitzel was quickly hurried through the deep fryer. Not worthy of a restaurant!!! Any amateur chef could cook better because they actually make the effort. A real rip-off! If that had been my first asparagus, I would never eat it again in my life. Unfortunately, I can't share the positive comments here. The food at the next table was also said to be very bad. On top of that, the staff were listless and knew full well that they were just taking people's money. No questions asked, not a shred of politeness, simply abysmal! But that's what happens when you run a "restaurant" with untrained staff. Of course, that only works in the tourist industry. Tomorrow the next idiots will be here!

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt sehr gut! Man kann das Restaurant sehr empfehlen.

For the first time in Warnemünde, we passed the "Meerle" restaurant in the harbor. The board outside the restaurant advertised fried fish with homemade potato salad for €11.90. We spontaneously decided to go for it. Our surprise was written all over our faces when our plates were served. We hadn't expected such large and appetizingly presented portions for this price. The next surprise was the taste. The batter around the fish was super crispy and not greasy. The fish was juicy and delicately seasoned. The homemade potato salad was just like grandma's and the remoulade sauce wasn't too heavy. A small side salad rounded off the dish perfectly. We were delighted and completely satisfied. Regarding the service, everything was quick, and the friendly staff were very attentive to the guests. We will definitely return here next time.

My mom had the same fish dish but with fries, remoulade, and a cucumber salad — again, very tasty and very generous portions. My dad had the smoked salmon pasta, which he enjoyed, though his portion seemed a bit smaller than ours — he ended up helping my mom finish hers (she’s a light eater). Prices were quite reasonable: €15.90 for the fish and around €17 for the pasta — definitely more affordable than many other places I looked at online. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and would come back, hopefully with more comfortable temperatures on the porch next time!

We stayed at Meerle on two consecutive days. On both days we noticed that the service was noticeably (!) friendly. The dog was given water without being asked and I was asked for the first time in a restaurant whether the asparagus should be al dente or soft. The food was extremely delicious and the portions were very large! Thank you, we always come to you now!

Today we were in this beautiful restaurant. The selection of dishes was really varied and the prices weren't outrageous, which is what attracted us to the Meerle. We did everything right 😁. The staff was super friendly and attentive and our food was simply delicious. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back 😌

With 4.6, one of the best-rated restaurants on this street. But why?? First the very good: Excellent, fast and very friendly and competent service. 1A. On the other hand, the food is, well, like in a fish snack bar. Mostly fried fish, potatoes were still tolerable, ready-made sauce - at least according to the taste. Convenience and fried food that was served 10 minutes after ordering. The nature and presentation of the menu should have been a warning. Conclusion: 08/15 food, top service, average ambience.

Today we had dinner in the harbor restaurant. I had the schnitzel with asparagus and hollondaise and my daughter had the schnitzel with fried potatoes and cucumber salad. The asparagus was really hard and inedible and some of my daughter's schnitzel was still raw. I was really disappointed because I had been looking forward to my asparagus all day. We also had a cola that tasted more like Zero and an apple spritzer. Overall it was OK, but I wouldn't go there again

We were here for dinner today. We had cod with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes, which was delicious. The schnitzel with creamed savoy cabbage and fried potatoes was a disaster. The fried potatoes were very good, the so-called creamed savoy cabbage was a completely overcooked mass and the schnitzel was not a schnitzel, but an industrially produced piece of molded meat that was deep-fried.
