Veedelseck Bar & Restaurant in Köln

Absolutely recommended. Very nice restaurant, bar in a beautiful hotel in the middle of the City of Cologne. There is a great selection of drinks, something for a small appetite or even more. Young man who served us at the bar quickly, professionally and really ch friendly. We really liked it here. It's beautiful and cozy.

Mega delicious food and great service from Marcel, who left nothing to be desired. I also found the atmosphere very nice and can only recommend it.

Fast, courteous and very professional service. The mustard roast is very tasty and the Cabernet is a dream.

Three leaders are having a chat at the reception, no one is being served. And that with two guests. Very weak for a hotel.

If we were hotel guests at the Lindner and thought about using the hotel's own bar, that was probably our best decision during our short vacation in Cologne. The bartender, Vlad, is absolutely amazing and will conjure up a class 10/10 drink for you, the whole bar team is super nice and accommodating. The bar has a clean and cool demeanor.

The our ox in the Lindner Hotel hadn't been on my radar at all, and probably no one else either, if you at least refer to its previous absence on Yelp. The menu offers the usual selection for a steak restaurant. Of course there are different types of burgers and different steaks. Particularly highlighted was the Chefs' Signature Dish, a 1.1 kg tomahawk steak for 2 people with 0.5 liters of red wine (Shiraz) for a total of 76.50 euros. There was also salad and potato wedges. The preparation time (at least 50 minutes) was already mentioned in the menu. The friendly service employee offered us to enjoy the nice weather and go for a walk and when we got back the food would be ready. Great idea and we had never experienced anything like this before, so we went for a spin around the Friesenplatz area and were then able to enjoy the food after a short wait. The meat was grilled to perfection and the side dishes also tasted very good. The creme brulee at the end was almost too big for me, but it was also delicious. The good service and the great steak in particular deserve 5 stars here.

We were hotel guests and wanted to have a drink in the bar in the evening. We were greeted immediately and told that the waitress would come to us shortly. Unfortunately we sat for almost half an hour without being noticed. We wanted to leave but then made eye contact with the employee behind the bar and he finally sent the colleague over to us. He apologized, took the order and left. After another 10 minutes he came back to our table and asked what we had ordered. He brought it straight away and we paid straight away, otherwise we would have waited forever.

Friendly, fast and attentive service. Cheeseburgers and tarte flambée were delicious.

We sat in the quiet and beautiful courtyard. Very nice staff and super delicious food. Gladly again.

Schöne Atmosphäre und das Essen am Spieß war auch Klasse

Das our ox im Lindner Hotel hatte ich bisher überhaupt nicht auf dem Schirm und wohl auch sonst keiner, wenn man sich zumindestens auf das bisherige Fehlen bei Yelp bezieht. Die Speisekarte bietet die übliche Auswahl bei einem Steakrestaurant. Natürlich gibt es verschiedene Burgervarianten und verschiedene Steaks. Besonders hervorgehoben war das Chefs' Signature Dish ein 1,1 kg Tomahawk Steak für 2 Personen mit 0,5 Liter Rotwein(Shiraz) zusammen 76,50 Euro. Dazu gab es Salat und Potato Wedges. Bereits in der Speisekarte war die Zubereitungszeit(mind. 50 Minuten) erwähnt. Die freundliche Mitarbeiterin im Service bot uns an doch das schöne Wetter zugenießen und noch eine Runde spazieren zugehen, wenn wir dann wieder da sind wäre das Essen fertig. Tolle Idee und so noch nicht erlebt drehten wir noch eine Runde im Bereich Friesenplatz und konnten anschließend nach kurzer Wartezeit das Essen genießen. Das Fleisch war toll auf den Punkt gegrillt und auch die Beilagen waren geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Creme Brulee als Abschluß war mir fast schon zu groß, aber ebenfalls lecker. Besonders der gute Service und das tolle Steak verdienen hier 5 Sterne.

Der Laden ist noch ziemlich neu. Sehr hübsch angerichtet mit kompetenter Mitarbeiterin. Wir bestellen das Tomahawk Steak (1,1 Kg für 76€) ikl 0,5 l Wein. Da die spezielle Vorbereitung über 50 min beträgt, mussten wir quasi ne Runde durch den Friesenviertel laufen... Endlich kam das Tomahawk Steak... Das Ding schaut hammer aus. Beindrücken! Die Mitarbeiterin hat uns Stück pro Stück geschnitten und serviert- dazwischen wird das Steak warm gehalten. Der dazugöehörige Wein war auch sehr gut und rundet den schönen Abend ab. Ich war froh, dass wir wieder mutig waren, einen neuen Laden zu testen. Warum trotzallem keine 5 Sterne Bewertung? Wir hatten doch noch Appetit auf kleines Dessert. Ich habe die Mitarbeiterin vorab gefragt, ob die Schokobrownie warm oder kalt serviert und sie antwortete mit : warm. Es kamen 2 Browniestücke mit sehr lecker Sorbeteis, aber leider der Kuchen war kalt. Leider...
