Pinsa Bruschetta was very tasty and I would also like to praise the Cola in glass bottles. What I didn't like was a very musty smell throughout the restaurant.

The Vapiano in Rostock is located directly on the Alter Markt in a very nice location. It is a rather small Vapiano and not too busy, at least during the week. It can be difficult to get a place on weekends, but even then the staff is friendly and ensures that guests have a pleasant stay. In general, the Vapiano in Rostock and the team there are one of the most recommended restaurants in the chain. There is a counter where a friendly employee (or an equally friendly employee) takes the order. This noticeably reduces the stress when ordering, especially for inexperienced Vapiano visitors. The Vapiano in Rostock is one of the cleanest restaurants in this chain that we have visited so far. However, there are also guests here who leave the toilets in such a way that you might want to think about taking a etiquette course. The menu is typical of Vapiano, the ingredients are fresh as far as can be judged and are deliciously prepared. Unfortunately there are only a few regular tables, most of the tables are bar tables and bar stools, making it difficult for short people or people with walking difficulties. However, there is - by no means a given - a disabled toilet. Accessibility is generally provided in the lower area of ​​the restaurant. In the upper area, where you have to climb a few steps, there are only bar tables. Access to the toilet facilities is also located here, but you still have to climb a flight of stairs. Little guests are welcome. As always, this Vapiano also has a children's menu and there are - without hesitation - children's chairs if necessary. The Vapiano in Rostock is a permanent address when we are on the Baltic Sea. We are always happy to come to you!

I remember I was in Hamburg at vapiano about 7 years ago and now I know why. The food just doesn't taste good. The dough or the dish = Pinsa??? was like something out of the freezer. The dough wasn't crispy, just hard. Chicken as cooked and the sauce - well, the operators themselves know how it is made. We also had spaghetti - unfortunately not a highlight either... but it's worth writing a lot about it, vapiano is not worth a visit for us in the next few years - no matter which city.

We were warmly greeted at the entrance. Then the friendliness stopped again. When we ordered the food we were looked at grimly because the kitchen was closing in an hour. Special requests were repeatedly not addressed!! When we picked it up, it was only discussed that it was standard practice to sprinkle cheese on top, even though it was stated not to do this when ordering! We were only able to eat individually as a group, as it was sometimes prepared at different times. You could eat the food, but it had hardly any taste and you couldn't get enough of it. As soon as I got up from the table, an employee was already busy cleaning the table. Absolutely no recommendation for those who want to eat something sensible. There are definitely better and cheaper Italian restaurants in the city.

Friendly service and good concept, lunch has a good price-performance ratio.

Absolutely unfriendly staff. Kindly pointed out that something was missing when ordering. We were then told that they didn't have time to take care of our order. The full price was still charged. Absolute disgrace... Food was still delicious.

We had a salad, which was very good and a pizza which was ok, but nothing special. This is a modern self-service type restaurant, where you have to order at the order bar, take everything to the table yourself and wait for your meal to be prepared - they give you a beeper and when it's done you go fetch it yourself. I did enjoy the salad and a really good olive oil.

Very bad service. I ordered coffee and asked the bartender at the counter how I could take the sugar with me to the table. He deliberately ignored me. I then put the sugar in a container that was probably left there by accident and left because I wasn't helped. He then came to the table after two minutes and asked me why I was taking this with me. I just asked why he ignores me? What kind of service is this? Then also from the boss personally. Catering is definitely not his area, he should go into IT 🌞

Friendly staff, nice location. We were there in May and managed to get a place without a reservation. Food was delicious, we would come again. There is something for everyone to eat. Be it various salads, pizzas, pasta dishes or soups.

Went here for dinner today. Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated significantly. The pasta was very dry and not great in terms of taste. The pinsa was extremely dry and almost rock hard, and the topping wasn't really tasty either. For that price I'd rather go somewhere else.

Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for our food. The soup was hideous, the Chicken Alfredo was fine, but we received it at room temperature, not as hot and fresh as we expected. Can't recommend.

Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und die Gerichte dauern nicht lange. Ebenso finde ich toll, dass man sich die Nudeln zu den Gerichten aussuchen kann. Es schmeckt auch einfach fantastisch!!

I like the Vapiano network and have tried a lot of their restaurants. The restaurant in Rostock is pleasant. Friendly staff, good food, the service was fast. Can recommend if you would like to have a fast and tasty lunch/dinner. Pasta bolognese is good here.

I think this was the worse pasta in my life. My husband was not happy as well, because he got a pinsa with fresh tomatoes, but he ordered without it. We love vapiano in Stockholm, but we were totally disappointed about the order in Rostock. Not worth visiting 🥺

Food quite ok, just value for money, absolutely not right, especially if you have it delivered, the portion calculation doesn't justify the price in any way, the service on the phone is very unfriendly and sometimes arrogant, you can feel how annoyed they are and obviously don't want to on their work, let alone dealing with guests. We ordered take away, but the chef made a huge mistake by putting shrimps on our food. We contacted the restaurant by e-mail, and was promised our money back. But now they don’t answer our e-mails (even though we wrote several times). Normaly VAPIANO is really good, but this is too bad. This is my only chance to get in touch with them. Since I live in Denmark, I just can’t visit the restaurant and talk to them.

Never again, overwhelmed checkout staff, canned champions in the pasta, pinsa baked for so long that the edge was almost blackening. Service and price don't match.

Delivery was quick, the delivery person was friendly and the separately packaged ingredients were good, but unfortunately the pasta/sauce was rather mediocre. Relatively small portions and then a big hair on a meal and all that for a pretty hefty price.

Unfortunately, cleanliness was not taken into account when preparing the food. The ladies and gentlemen ran through the entire restaurant to then prepare the food with their bare hands. For example, when ordering at the counter, the customer card was taken in hand and then an egg was spread on a salad. While pizza was being prepared, people blew their noses and then spread cheese on the pizza. All with bare hands. How about wearing gloves or washing your hands? There are zero hygiene rules in the hospitality industry.

Four of us ate at Vapiano. We don't really like the concept but that's a matter of opinion. We were there on a Saturday (early) evening. It was pleasantly attended and by no means too crowded. The meal was okay.

Hey, you won't believe how great it is at Vapiano in Rostock! Well, I was there recently and was really impressed. It's so cozy and clean, just perfect for a relaxing evening. And the food – incredibly delicious! They have a huge selection of dishes, from meat to vegetarian and vegan. And the atmosphere there is really welcoming. We felt so comfortable and really took our time to enjoy the food. I could sit there for hours, chatting and drinking coffee. It's definitely worth a visit, especially if you're in the mood for good food and good company!

I really enjoy eating there. But unfortunately not my thing as a delivery service.

This is not pizza and the noodles were instant flavor. Okay experience gained, but not again.

I ordered pasta aglio e olio. Noodles were very dry and totally stuck together. Cheese cost extra, which every other Italian restaurant puts on the table for free.

So my conclusion - hardly any German-speaking employees - the food is terribly bad. My wife and I had stomach problems until the evening. We had spaghetti with scampi. I don't know what kind of creamy sauce was in there? And I didn't like the noodles. We will avoid the Vapiano in Rostock.

Unfortunately, Vapiano has slowed down! The chain previously scored points with a show kitchen, which meant ordering and preparation directly from the chef, but now you order from a central location and can pick up the food again from another central location. Simply a self-service restaurant with Italian dishes! Food was OK. Savings were also made on the basil that was previously present on the dishes - this is no longer available. Too bad Vapiano!

Great deal €12.50 for a pizza and drink. I was in Rostock. The only thing I didn't like was that the pizza maker didn't wear gloves and did other work in between and didn't wash his hands. The food was prepared quickly and tasted good.

Schnell und gute Küche! Einfach bestellen, ob Pasta, Pinsa, Pasta...Es ist so ziemlich alles da. Selbst für die Kleinen gibt's Kindergerichte.

Update 2024: The prices are no longer healthy for visiting a, well, fast restaurant. Cooking with the chef is also out. Delicious food. Good drinks and healthy prices. We really enjoy coming here. We were there spontaneously on a Monday evening - the restaurant was pleasantly empty. I already knew the principle of Vapiano and I was actually familiar with the card and was happy about it. Unfortunately, I now realized that there are only 4 pizzas left to choose from - but plenty of Pinsa, although not with the same toppings as before. So we ordered the pasta with spinach and scampi, a bolognese and bruschetta. We had to wait an unusually long time for our food, even though there were only 2 other orders after us and several chefs were on site. The bruschetta was okay, the ciabatta was only sliced ​​and therefore very flabby, but the tomatoes were very tasty. It lacked spice. The scampi were very tasty and plentiful, but unfortunately there was a bit of skimping on the spinach and unfortunately I couldn't find any pine nuts. Overall, solid, slightly seasoned, but still recommended. It's different with the Bolognese - it's absolutely not worth the price, we were disappointed. Barely Meat, mostly grated carrots and a fruity, sweet taste like children's tomato sauce - €15 is really steep for that. Conclusion: there is a lack of the basics and for the price you can definitely find better Italian cuisine in Rostock

Sind um 21:15 gekommen und wollten schnell was essen. Küche war leider schon zu und vorne am Eingang wurde uns gesagt Küche bis 22 Uhr geöffnet. Super Service!!!

Hier kann man relativ günstig was essen. Wird frisch auf Bestellung zubereitet. Geht schnell.

VEGANUARY BABY! Vapiano bekennt sich ganz direkt zu uns Veganern und schreibt in die Karte „WIR SIND VEGAN“. Dahinter verbirgt sich eine wirklich große Auswahl an veganen Gerichten. Wenn sich dann noch im Veganuary Gerichte mit Trüffel dazugesellen ist es einfach großartig. Dazu ein Illy-Kaffee und es ist perfekt.
