Super friendly and competent staff, a lovely atmosphere, and a selection of high-quality dishes. We immediately felt at ease and received excellent service despite the many other guests. The guest is truly the focus, and every need is met. We'll definitely be back.

I ate there over the weekend after a long bike ride. The restaurant impresses with its location, ambiance, and delicious food. Even small details like blankets for the rather cold wind were considered. The high prices are justified. I found the portion sizes a bit disappointing. In my opinion, they wouldn't necessarily fill a grown man up…but everyone will feel differently.

A culinary experience of the highest caliber! I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to Paulo Scutarro. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you notice that great importance is placed on atmosphere and hospitality. The service was attentive, friendly, and yet unobtrusive – you immediately feel welcome. The meal was a real highlight: My steak was cooked to perfection – wonderfully crispy on the outside, wonderfully tender and juicy on the inside. A delicious side dish perfectly rounded off the meal. You can taste the passion and the finest ingredients used here. The drinks selection also leaves nothing to be desired and perfectly rounds out the overall experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant – whether for a special dinner, a business lunch, or simply to treat yourself. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! We were here two consecutive evenings, and both were simply fantastic.

We've eaten here regularly over the years, but unfortunately, this year we weren't impressed with the service at all. A timely reservation (2 months in advance) unfortunately didn't yield the table we wanted. The service was frosty, inflexible, and surprised us with the statement that the menu was updated every two weeks. It's a shame, as we were very impressed the previous times and hope to go home more satisfied next time.

We were unfortunately disappointed with the brunch. The simplest hot dishes were spaghetti, peas, two meat dishes (some of which were cold), one fish dish, and a boring selection of bread and rolls. Some of the fruit salad had (visible white) mold. That shouldn't happen. Dairy and dairy dishes were unrefrigerated. The service was very good, and the view is unique. Unfortunately, the value for money here isn't right.

A wonderful retreat from the raucous hordes of men on Ascension Day. The pasta was fantastic and was every bit as good as the magnificent sea view. Not to mention the tasteful interior and outstanding service.

Everything just fits together here. The food is delicious, the service is very friendly and attentive, and the view of the sea completes the whole experience.

My partner and I spontaneously asked if we could sit down. We even got a seat by the window, which was wonderful because of the view. The service was excellent, very friendly, and they asked us several times throughout the evening if everything was okay and if we wanted anything else. The food was top-notch, even though it cost €1.20 more than we're used to. You could see the chef put his or her heart into it, and it was a visual eye-catcher, too. Many thanks to the entire team. We had a wonderful evening. We'll be back.

The service was good, as well as the atmosphere , with beautiful views of the sea. The food, however, was not good. The lamb tasted like it was cooked in a rancid oil and the spaghetti was overly buttered. I do not recommend for dinner, but, perhaps for a glass of wine and a nice atmosphere.

If you're expecting pizza, you've come to the wrong place. An upscale Italian restaurant with special pasta, meat and fish dishes. The view of the beach and the Baltic Sea is priceless. It definitely makes sense to reserve in advance.

We had a table by the window and the view was amazing. One of the best restaurants in Warnemünde that I know. An all-round successful experience – absolutely recommended Our birthday celebration culminated at Paulo Scutarro - and we couldn't have asked for a better restaurant. The communication in advance was pleasantly uncomplicated, quick and attentive - I have rarely felt so well looked after as a host. In the evening itself, the entire team was attentive, warm and always present without being intrusive. Despite our difficult group configuration with several small children and a baby, an area was created for us where we felt welcome and relaxed - without disturbing other guests. This atmosphere was exceptionally pleasant. The food was excellent, the drinks were prepared to a high standard, and all of our guests were thrilled. For me, Paulo Scutarro is the best Italian in Rostock - with quality, style and genuine hospitality. Thank you for an unforgettable evening!

What a great restaurant! Everything is perfect at Paulo Scutarro: super friendly service, delicious food and a breathtaking view of the Baltic Sea - that alone is worth a visit. Very good service and great food

The pasta was fresh and homemade - you can just taste the difference. We had the spaghetti with truffle cream and it was to die for. We left out the shrimp and got vegetables instead. That was perfect for us. Small drawback: The menu is not necessarily suitable for vegetarians, but you can always seek advice about a fish or meat-free alternative. Thanks for the great evening. Gladly again!

We were here for Sunday brunch. The selection was rather limited, with no regular dishes like Nutella, chicken dishes/sausages, bacon with scrambled eggs, cucumber, tomatoes, cream cheese, etc. Drinks like water were constantly empty, and food refills were also limited. The view is very nice, but not worth the price for the selection.

A superb place to enjoy fine Italian cuisine. The service is attentive and prompt, and the dishes are consistently delicious. I've never had the pleasure of eating fried custard before; it was a fantastic dessert.

Nicely located on the 1st floor of the Kurhaus. Very friendly service, all of our special requests were fulfilled. Overall, the food was very good, one star deducted because the garlic in the pasta was burnt and the off-flavor masked everything else.

We only discovered the restaurant last fall and rather by chance. Because we were so impressed the first time, we had to enjoy it twice more. The advertising sign on the street says it all and is actually an understatement. If you like Italian pasta and other specialties, Paulo Scutarro in Warnemünde is the right place for you. We drank a wonderful Pinot Gris and ended the evening with homemade limoncello. These delicacies were served to us by absolutely convincing waiters, and the service was always present but never intrusive. We had the feeling that the waiters, as well as the boss, really enjoyed the restaurant and the hospitality. This visible passion has motivated us to return to Warnemünde on each of our visits. It is to be hoped that the diverse efforts of the great team will help ensure that this special place of Italian hospitality remains available to as many people as possible for a long time to come.

We have been going to Warnemünde for years. Since Alte Strom has always been our priority when it comes to food, this time we decided to have dinner in the Paulo Scutarro restaurant (Kurhaus). The ambience is nice… the food is okay. However, the price-performance ratio is absolutely not balanced. A simple pasta dish starts at 18 euros. Furthermore, the restaurant claims to be Italian, but does not offer a single pizza. What we were particularly dissatisfied with was the fact that behind the bar people were laughing loudly, gossiping and pointing fingers at us for no reason at all. I've never experienced anything like that. According to the motto “Hui at the front, ugh at the back.” - Absolutely unacceptable. It's possible that the team was bored with so few guests. This can be observed, among other things, when a service worker constantly looks at their cell phone. We were there for the first and last time and will eat at Alten Strom again in the future. It's definitely worth it.

The food was okay but not worth the money. Added to this is the absolutely disgraceful behavior of the waitress, who whispered, pointed fingers and laughed at us. It was rare to see so much unprofessionalism in a restaurant. "The customer is scum."

I just want to get rid of something that pisses me off. I am deeply shocked at how we were treated. The staff gossips badly about their guests. That you are not ashamed. This is probably the last spark of life that you feel in your dreary existence as a dishwasher. I just feel sorry for her. What has life done to you, you poor souls. Just sad. The view, the food and the ambience aside, it's not worth it.

Great location with attentive service, pasta is perfect here, fish too. Unfortunately, veal schnitzel is prepared in a German way, just like pork schnitzel, it works better, even at an Italian restaurant, maybe I'll learn that in Bolzano next year. Still worth a visit…

Anything other than the best rating would be a lie. Visited the restaurant for the first time last night. Had my friend reserve a table and I/we were absolutely satisfied. Naturally nice and courteous people in service, the chefs know their craft, everything was great and everything tasted really good. Truffle Burrata first came without truffles and then with a run-of-the-mill cheap truffle that tasted neutral. Tuna was a little dry on the edges. Service was overwhelmed. Not paying attention. However, always friendly. It was good food. However, the price-performance ratio is unfortunately not right here.

Are currently in this restaurant and are very horrified by the "friendliness of the service staff". I can understand that you are busy, especially in the season. But it's such an unfriendly way to treat people - as if they were stupid and didn't recognize black beer. Naughty, just outrageously cheeky. Hope the food is better.

When eating in a restaurant is a pleasure beyond just eating. Competent employees who give you the feeling that you are THE chosen favorite guest (and who even remember that you were there the day before and what you had ordered), really excellent food, a fantastic view, tiramisu that really looks like Such a taste was tasty and not to forget and not always a given in Germany, a perfect espresso.

We had dinner with a wedding party on June 15, 2024. Everything was perfect: super laid out, very good service (the waiter Martin was super nice, just great), absolutely delicious food. Everything was fine. We liked it so much that we had dinner there again the next evening in a small group. We recommend. We will be back.

We were here as a group for the first time and the eight of us had a nice table with a view of the Baltic Sea. The drinks were well made and the wine was also very tasty. The food was very diverse and the different flavors were served very well. All in all it was a lovely successful evening.

Recently my wife and I had the pleasure of spending an evening at Paulo Scutarro Italian Restaurant and it was an experience that left a lasting impression on us. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted by the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. But what particularly caught our eye was the fantastic terrace with a breathtaking view of the Baltic Sea. This view alone made the visit a special experience. For the main course we both chose fish dishes, which far exceeded our expectations. I chose the fish fillet variation, which offered a delicious combination of salmon, mackerel and swordfish. Accompanied by tender spinach and creamy mashed potatoes, the flavors were perfectly balanced. Every bite was a delight that highlighted the freshness and quality of the ingredients. My wife chose the salmon fillet with grilled vegetables and rosemary potatoes. This dish was also excellently prepared. The salmon was juicy and perfectly seared, while the grilled vegetables and rosemary potatoes gave the dish a harmonious balance of flavor and texture. Paulo Scutarro really knows how to present Mediterranean cuisine at the highest level. The dishes not only taste excellent, but are also a visual delight. Added to this is the unbeatable service, which rounded off the evening perfectly. For anyone who wants to treat themselves to a break and indulge in culinary delights, this is definitely worth a trip. Every year (sometimes several times a year) it is a culinary highlight of our vacation. Perfect food, perfect service (everything is right here, from the food recommendation for those who are undecided to the right wine recommendation) and the view while eating is not to be despised. However, you should reserve well in advance for a visit in the evening.

I went to Paolo Scutarro Ristorante Warnemünde today without a reservation. I was greeted very friendly and immediately taken to a free table with a view of the lake. Even though I only wanted to eat a little something, the cameraman was very attentive and extremely friendly. The buffalo mozzarella with pesto & pine nuts, tomatoes & rocket salad we ordered was impressive both in terms of taste and in its presentation. Since it was still early in the evening, we had a nice conversation. Drinks and food are great value for money. €27 for food, beer and espresso is definitely more than okay for this lovely evening. I will definitely go back to eat in what I think is a great ristorante.

Such great service, really great. Very very tasty food. After we said that the dessert (Panne Cotta) was a bit small, the waiter immediately brought another one. There was limoncello on the house and after three courses we are completely happy and completely satisfied. Really can't be better. 10 points And then this great view with a dream sunset.

Lunch on a Sunday in March. There were 6 other people besides us! Guests in the restaurant. The ambience raised questions for me as it reminded me of an African restaurant. The situation was explained to me in a very friendly manner by the waiter. Interior modeled on Noah's Ark. With zebra head and other animals (not real specimens, thank God) on the wall. I find it controversial for an Italian on the Baltic Sea. The seating at our table was not adjusted to the height of the table and was therefore uncomfortable. The menu was small but nice and completely ok for this time of year. Wine list great. The food was great, although the portions were very small. In a restaurant in this price category, I expect a little greeting from the kitchen. A bread basket and some olive oil should be possible. The service was top and the view is fantastic. However, I will not visit this restaurant again because for me the price/performance ratio is not right. A pity.

This restaurant was simply amazing. The price-performance ratio is balanced. I had a delicious aperitif with white port wine and as a main course spaghetti with shrimps. The seasoning was great and my request for extra garlic was honored. The sea view is great. When making the reservation, I wanted us to get a table directly with a sea view and preferably in the corner and this request was also granted. The service was very professional when dealing with bottled wine, discreet and not intrusive, as is unfortunately often the case in restaurants. Clear recommendation if you value professional service.

We come here regularly when we take a short vacation across the street in the Neptune. Great ambience, good service, delicious food. Prices are a bit high but that is also justified. We always enjoy coming back. For us it is part of a Warnemünde holiday.

The food is delicious for a “field, forest and meadow Italian”. However, considering that it is supposed to be an upscale restaurant, the claim is not met. The price is probably only due to the location right by the sea, but is not appropriate given the quality of the food. The waiters were rather clumsy, trusting or arrogant.

So.... online it says open until 11 p.m., but we were there around 10:30 p.m. for a quick hunger but had to turn off the lights, close the door, etc. I don't think it's cool. Online it says it's open until 11 p.m. It was maybe only until 10 p.m., unfortunately, a shame

Delicious selection of dishes and wines. Large portions but manageable, deliciously cooked. It was a very successful evening all around.
