And again the thing about tips... I often order pizza and always paid in cash and left a tip every now and then (which isn't a must). This time I wanted to pay by card and take the pizza with me. All well and good. BUT I have never seen the nerve of typing “tip” on the debit card machine in front of me in my life 🤔 as if it were a given. I tip when I want and where I want. Can't be surpassed in audacity. I'm not a foreigner-hostile person, but I see Italians and Greeks just waiting for a tip as if it were a must.

It's a shame that the pizza is so greasy + more pretty ladies and fresh tomatoes on the pizza

Unfortunately, we know the losseria from another location, and the losseria from Rostock is very far from it. Hard pizza, little sauce and little flavor. The waitress seemed to have forgotten about us.

The ambience is reminiscent of a small factory hall thanks to the metal parapet on the upper floor and the massive staircase leading there. All in all it is a very contemporary restaurant. The open kitchen adds to the charm of the location. The food is of the highest quality. Every Italian heart will feel a little bit of home in this gastronomy and let out a “Mama Mia” of joy. The service is very friendly and quick. You hardly have to wait 5 minutes for your drinks. And after ordering the main courses, it usually takes little more than 20 minutes for what you ordered to reach the table. L'Osteria is a very pleasant place where we have eaten several times and we will definitely eat there again and again.

Even if the restaurant is completely full, everyone in service has remained charming, thoughtful and calm. Even then, the waiting time for the food is absolutely acceptable (I certainly didn't stop, but something like 15-20 minutes). Achieving this together is no longer standard or even easy today. Despite not reserving a table on a Saturday evening (sorry, it was spontaneous), we only had to wait a short time at the bar in the crowded restaurant. In short: food, value for money, friendliness, cleanliness top. Thanks for that.

After we had already been here once and were 100% thrilled, we ate another gluten-free pasta dish today. Again all expectations met. Thank you for offering this!!! We would love to come back when we are in Rostock.

Great for young people, too loud after work or with a large group, too warm, too impersonal! Entertainment almost impossible. Gluten-free only salad or 1 pasta. Everything is normal in big cities, Rostock has to wake up!! For pizza 🍕 ok.

Went for lunch on a cloudy Sunday (reservation was made by phone a week ago). Small starter with pizza rolls and each of the 4 of us got our pizza the size of a wagon wheel ;-) - the great thing about it was that you could configure your pizza so that you had two different toppings on it. The pizzas were very tasty and once you had placed the first slice, nothing stood in the way of feasting. The wife and children are only halfway through their pizzas, but the employees are very experienced in packing them. Great and delicious! Thanks

We had reserved a table for Friday and everything worked out great for the time being. When asked if the three of us would like a starter, we said yes and ordered this and the main course, as well as drinks. The starter (that's where the name comes from) should be brought to the table in advance. Unfortunately only 2 received their starters and after a short wait a main course arrived (of course not for the person who hadn't had a starter yet). Some time passed and the missing starter and the other 2 main courses arrived. Anyone who is familiar with the tables at Losteria, when there are three people sitting, now knows that the space was an absolute test of their knowledge of Tetris. We continued to order drinks... after a little over 2 hours we were very harshly told (the waitress was standing with our drinks and wanted to serve) that our time had expired, it was already longer and that we should leave unless there were other guests in the "lounge area" (people were still sitting and had just finished eating) would pay, then we could move there. A table at Losteria is only reserved for 1.5 hours and then you have to leave, even though you are still ordering? We have never experienced anything like this anywhere before. The food was great, as always The waiters were nice - the "managers" unfortunately less so - a shame. But again, if we want a nice get-together, we won't go to Losteria again. That's not how it should work!

Wir kennen das Restaurant bereits von anderen Standorten, z.B. Lübeck. Hier gefiel uns besonders das sehr freundliche Personal. Da das Lokal sehr gut besucht war, war auch die Wartezeit dieses Mal etwas länger. Dafür war das Essen in der gewohnten guten Qualität.

We were there with a reservation and had a nice place in a "round" corner 😊we also had gluten-free pasta -SUPER👍 really very friendly staff and even though it was very full, it went quickly. The volume is only noticeable at first, you are quickly immersed in the Italian flair 😍

After a friendly and fresh welcome with dog. we were able to enjoy our time in the stylish and modern location. The service was friendly and attentive. Our chosen dishes were all delivered quickly and fresh, which speaks for great time management in the kitchen, as they were pasta and pizza dishes. The price level of the dishes is great for the generous size and the taste of the dishes convinced us 100%. The visit was a great experience and we would love to come back.

Didn't pre-order, but still got a spot. Be sure to pre-order. If you're very hungry, you're in good hands here. 45 cm pizza in all versions that also taste very good. The volume is very loud, and when it's full it's also very warm. We waited an hour for the pizzas, but it was also very busy. There are no parking spaces to be found anywhere.

It was a great evening and for €10 you can get a huge pizza that you can rarely eat. Service was also great and our food was served after 10 minutes because I have to say it was full and there were 13 of us. I can only recommend the restaurant.

The restaurant is always busy, but we were still able to find a table for five of us. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We have and felt very comfortable. The food was delicious as always. Special requests were also addressed. Always happy!!

I was there with my friend last night and the food was really delicious. The waiting times aren't long and the prices are good considering how good the food tastes! Above all, our waitress (Arina J.) was great! Big compliments to her really, she was really friendly and very personable. Gladly again! :D

During our short visit to Rostock we spontaneously ate at the pizzeria L’Osteria. With luck we were given a table in the lower area by the window. We ordered the bruschetta as a starter and shared a pizza as the main course, as the pizzas are huge. Since we didn't agree on the topping, we were very happy that it was possible to top half of the pizza with “Crudo” and the other half with “Tonno”. That's what we call service. Thank you very much. The dishes came quickly and we liked them, although the bruschetta bread was a little unimaginative. The disadvantage of the restaurant is that the noise level is relatively high and there is a certain restlessness/hecticness in the restaurant, so it doesn't necessarily feel comfortable.

Wir waren während unserem Kurzbesuch in Rostock spontan in der Pizzeria L’Osteria essen. Mit Glück bekamen wir noch einen Tisch im unteren Bereich am Fenster zu gewiesen. Wir bestellten einmal als Vorspeise die Bruschetta und als Hauptspeise teilten wir uns eine Pizza, da die Pizzen riesig sind. Da wir uns über den Belag nicht einig waren, freuten wir uns sehr, dass es möglich war, die eine Hälfte der Pizza mit „Crudo“ zu belegen und die andere Hälfte mit “Tonno“. Das nennen wir mal Service. Dankeschön. Die Gerichte kamen schnell und schmeckten uns gut, wobei das Bruschetta Brot ein wenig einfallslos war. Das Manko am Restaurant ist, dass der Geräuschpegel relativ hoch ist und im Restaurant eine gewisse Unruhe/Hektik herrscht, so dass nicht unbedingt eine Gemütlichkeit aufkommt.

We felt very comfortable and ate really well. From the large selection on the menu, we chose the seasonal pumpkin soup, a pizza and gnocchi. The pizza was really huge. Questions and special requests were well addressed. Taking our dog with us wasn't a problem either

Losteria has my absolute favorite food. The crayfish pasta in lobster sauce! I always order them with gnocci instead of pasta. I can only recommend it! An Italian who not only knows pizza but also pasta!😍 Since I learned about pasta, I haven't ordered anything else. A real recommendation ☺️

Ordered 2 pizzas to pick up. When we got home there were 2 completely wrong pizzas in the boxes. I could have looked beforehand, but you can't assume that. Next time, more concentration please. We had to throw away a pizza because it had salami on it and we couldn't eat it. Say €18 away, thanks for that.

We are always completely satisfied with the pizza and love going to L’Osteria. Unfortunately, you often have to plan for longer waiting times, which we always understand. However, the last two experiences were not quite as positive. We ate there and our pizza didn't arrive for 55 minutes. Since the store was full, we understood this, but there was neither a brief information nor an apology from the staff. After our drinks were brought, they seemed to avoid our table and so we had no information that it might take longer. Most recently I ordered an order for pickup at 8:45 p.m. We got there on time and were told it would be a few minutes. We waited outside. But when no further information came after a quarter of an hour, we asked again. Ultimately, we waited half an hour for the pizza we had already ordered (the previous waiting time had already been 1 hour), without the staff giving any precise information. We suspect that our food was simply forgotten. We would understand this if this had been communicated directly. I love Losteria Pizza, but customer communication needs improvement.

None of this has anything to do with Italy: Spaghetti Carbonara with cream is a "no-go", instead of the better (and more expensive) Parmesan there is cheap Grana Padano etc. etc.; the lasagna was way too small and the pizza way too big. Whoever thought that up didn't think it through... Even McDonald's (IT) has real Parmesan. The pseudo-Italian lessons in the toilet are annoying. Note on the expected response from the “restaurant”: Answer the criticism individually (without sentence modules) objectively. Tell me why you can't even cook carbonara properly. Say why you use cheap products. Well, since you don't answer, I'll give the answer: Profit maximization is the magic word. And no, I haven't found my favorite Italian yet. By the way, with this sentence component you are suggesting that you are "Italian", which is also a misnomer.

We had a disappointing experience with the food. The special “hand made pasta” arrived as a lump of cold pasta stuck together (see image). Notably there were hardly any empty tables so perhaps their kitchen got overwhelmed with the rush?!

There are places that have an almost magnetic pull on people, and this restaurant seems to be aiming to do just that. You're drawn to it like a fly to honey, and I have to admit, it's not hard to see why. The restaurant extends over two floors. You really can't say a bad word about the food - the salads are fresh and the portions are generous. Of particular note is the pizza, which is so big it almost feels like you have to lift it with a crane. It was a surprise that caught me off guard - a pizza the size of a wagon wheel that also tasted great. Perhaps the secret of this restaurant's success lies in these portions and their good taste. Or maybe it's the excellent service that keeps guests coming back again and again. The service is quick, friendly and so attentive. The noise level itself, however, is more reminiscent of a bazaar. Because you have to realize this: the volume in this restaurant is the only shadow on an otherwise bright picture.

Even though we hadn't made a reservation and the restaurant was completely full, we were given the last table. Food was delicious, we were told that the wait would be very long because it was so full. But the waiter brought us bread to tide us over. Definitely recommended.

My family and I ordered our pizzas an hour ago... The store is packed. The few waitresses have sore feet. It's stuck here somewhere! I hope the food tastes good when it comes! You really need to optimize something here!!! Edith: Food was really delicious! Pizzas are 46 cm! Diameter and can be ordered in two different coverings if required. Priced between €15 and €18. OK.

Great food, but we have to wait for an hour, until the food for 3 people would be ready, even for Germany it's a little too much.

After waiting for over an hour, we finally received our food and the service was a catastrophe. On a positive note, our waitress was occasionally friendly and the ambience was fine. I don't think it's quite right. I would like to point out that it's personal as far as I've seen it You can't leave out a tip, you have to!! Choose one of the 3 options 2% 6% 10% I don't think this is appropriate. As a guest, I would like to be able to decide for myself whether and when how much I want to tip. Unfortunately, the location in Rostock of this chain has lost me and my companions for the time being .

Very nice location on the new market in Rostock. According to people from Rostock, the restaurant is only for tourists, otherwise it's a yawning emptiness. Nevertheless, we tried it. Food was ok, pizza very dry, pasta dishes ok. Then why so few points? The staff was a disaster, unfriendly, no one was responsible, everyone was only responsible for one area. So people! Honest! After an eternity of waiting, for whatever reason, as there wasn't much going on, the order was finally placed. Here, too, it was unfriendly, as a guest you felt out of place, as if you were a nuisance. Do you want a tip for that? After we didn't tip, the waiter, who wasn't actually responsible for us and hadn't served us at all, got dirty and threw stuff on the neighboring table. Never again!!!!!

So the online site is the absolute last as well as the online service. Sometimes it doesn't exist, it's absolutely bad! The online site is super confusing and you can't cancel orders properly. You are just asked to apologize in a somewhat unfriendly manner and that you will get your money back in a few hours. Pizza is tasty but not for this killer fit!!!
