The pizzas tasted quite good, but I would have liked a little more topping.

Extremely loud station hall atmosphere, salad ok, pizza hopelessly burnt, they can wait a long time for my next visit!

Delicious. Staff very friendly. But unfortunately, as in every branch of the L'Osteria chain, the noise level here is also very loud.

There were two of us. My companion ate a pasta dish and I had a pizza. Both dishes were very tasty. The service was always very friendly and tried hard. The only criticism would be the noise in the restaurant. It's just too loud for a romantic candlelight dinner.

Osteria Rostock never disappoints! The pizza is delicious as always, with that perfect crispy crust and rich flavors. Highly recommended! The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. And whatever you do, don’t skip dessert! Seriously, it’s the kind of treat that makes you question why you ever considered skipping sweets. Will definitely be coming back for more!

We were here for dinner around 7 p.m. and although there was already a queue in front of the restaurant and all the tables inside were full, they didn't send us away, but we quickly got the next free table. And despite the stress that the waiters had, everyone was really friendly and the food came quickly. The food itself was very tasty

Our number 1 in Rostock when it comes to pizza! We have been coming regularly with friends for many years. The pizzas are huge and really tasty - everyone is guaranteed to be full here. The service is always quick and friendly. A reservation is definitely recommended, which can easily be done online. In the summer we like to sit outside as it can be a bit louder inside when the restaurant is full.

I can highly recommend the restaurant, but if you want to eat there it's best to reserve a table in advance

My family spontaneously went to this restaurant on our day trip to Rostock and can only recommend it. Very good food and friendly staff. Prices are fair and reasonable for the city center location. We had pasta and pizza, my wife had gnocchi, everything was really top and very tasty👍

The pizza was too salty. Not everyone likes that. The waitress didn't even offer to give me the change back as she assumed it was her tip. My shock is in shock

The waitresses were very unpleasant, we ordered a starter and after 2 minutes they wanted to serve us the main course. The drink I ordered was very bad and too strong, like I was drinking 70% spirit, not Mohito. Our pizza was cold, the waitress didn't even notice, she nodded and moved on.

When I asked how to get into the restaurant as a wheelchair user, it was quickly clarified and there was a table available for three. The wheelchair user was accompanied into the restaurant through a separate entrance and did not have to go through the entire restaurant. The service staff were super attentive and polite. The food was excellent and is recommended. There is a very clean and appropriately large toilet for wheelchair users on the first floor, which can be reached using the service staff and elevator. We had a pleasant stay and will come back on our next visit to Rostock. Paying via QR code worked really well and the service person came to the table to thank us for the tip we had given. Thank you for the feeling of being welcomed as a customer.

And again the thing about tips... I often order pizza and always paid in cash and left a tip every now and then (which isn't a must). This time I wanted to pay by card and take the pizza with me. All well and good. BUT I have never seen the nerve of typing “tip” on the debit card machine in front of me in my life 🤔 as if it were a given. I tip when I want and where I want. Can't be surpassed in audacity. I'm not a foreigner-hostile person, but I see Italians and Greeks just waiting for a tip as if it were a must.

Unfortunately, we know the losseria from another location, and the losseria from Rostock is very far from it. Hard pizza, little sauce and little flavor. The waitress seemed to have forgotten about us.

The ambience is reminiscent of a small factory hall thanks to the metal parapet on the upper floor and the massive staircase leading there. All in all it is a very contemporary restaurant. The open kitchen adds to the charm of the location. The food is of the highest quality. Every Italian heart will feel a little bit of home in this gastronomy and let out a “Mama Mia” of joy. The service is very friendly and quick. You hardly have to wait 5 minutes for your drinks. And after ordering the main courses, it usually takes little more than 20 minutes for what you ordered to reach the table. L'Osteria is a very pleasant place where we have eaten several times and we will definitely eat there again and again.

Even if the restaurant is completely full, everyone in service has remained charming, thoughtful and calm. Even then, the waiting time for the food is absolutely acceptable (I certainly didn't stop, but something like 15-20 minutes). Achieving this together is no longer standard or even easy today. Despite not reserving a table on a Saturday evening (sorry, it was spontaneous), we only had to wait a short time at the bar in the crowded restaurant. In short: food, value for money, friendliness, cleanliness top. Thanks for that.

Great for young people, too loud after work or with a large group, too warm, too impersonal! Entertainment almost impossible. Gluten-free only salad or 1 pasta. Everything is normal in big cities, Rostock has to wake up!! For pizza 🍕 ok.

Went for lunch on a cloudy Sunday (reservation was made by phone a week ago). Small starter with pizza rolls and each of the 4 of us got our pizza the size of a wagon wheel ;-) - the great thing about it was that you could configure your pizza so that you had two different toppings on it. The pizzas were very tasty and once you had placed the first slice, nothing stood in the way of feasting. The wife and children are only halfway through their pizzas, but the employees are very experienced in packing them. Great and delicious! Thanks

We had reserved a table for Friday and everything worked out great for the time being. When asked if the three of us would like a starter, we said yes and ordered this and the main course, as well as drinks. The starter (that's where the name comes from) should be brought to the table in advance. Unfortunately only 2 received their starters and after a short wait a main course arrived (of course not for the person who hadn't had a starter yet). Some time passed and the missing starter and the other 2 main courses arrived. Anyone who is familiar with the tables at Losteria, when there are three people sitting, now knows that the space was an absolute test of their knowledge of Tetris. We continued to order drinks... after a little over 2 hours we were very harshly told (the waitress was standing with our drinks and wanted to serve) that our time had expired, it was already longer and that we should leave unless there were other guests in the "lounge area" (people were still sitting and had just finished eating) would pay, then we could move there. A table at Losteria is only reserved for 1.5 hours and then you have to leave, even though you are still ordering? We have never experienced anything like this anywhere before. The food was great, as always The waiters were nice - the "managers" unfortunately less so - a shame. But again, if we want a nice get-together, we won't go to Losteria again. That's not how it should work!

Typical Losteria, but incredibly friendly staff. Food of good quality as usual. Unfortunately the location is very, very loud and resembles a train station hall, it is hardly possible to have a conversation.

Wir kennen das Restaurant bereits von anderen Standorten, z.B. Lübeck. Hier gefiel uns besonders das sehr freundliche Personal. Da das Lokal sehr gut besucht war, war auch die Wartezeit dieses Mal etwas länger. Dafür war das Essen in der gewohnten guten Qualität.

After a friendly and fresh welcome with dog. we were able to enjoy our time in the stylish and modern location. The service was friendly and attentive. Our chosen dishes were all delivered quickly and fresh, which speaks for great time management in the kitchen, as they were pasta and pizza dishes. The price level of the dishes is great for the generous size and the taste of the dishes convinced us 100%. The visit was a great experience and we would love to come back.

Didn't pre-order, but still got a spot. Be sure to pre-order. If you're very hungry, you're in good hands here. 45 cm pizza in all versions that also taste very good. The volume is very loud, and when it's full it's also very warm. We waited an hour for the pizzas, but it was also very busy. There are no parking spaces to be found anywhere.

It was a great evening and for €10 you can get a huge pizza that you can rarely eat. Service was also great and our food was served after 10 minutes because I have to say it was full and there were 13 of us. I can only recommend the restaurant.

Wir waren während unserem Kurzbesuch in Rostock spontan in der Pizzeria L’Osteria essen. Mit Glück bekamen wir noch einen Tisch im unteren Bereich am Fenster zu gewiesen. Wir bestellten einmal als Vorspeise die Bruschetta und als Hauptspeise teilten wir uns eine Pizza, da die Pizzen riesig sind. Da wir uns über den Belag nicht einig waren, freuten wir uns sehr, dass es möglich war, die eine Hälfte der Pizza mit „Crudo“ zu belegen und die andere Hälfte mit “Tonno“. Das nennen wir mal Service. Dankeschön. Die Gerichte kamen schnell und schmeckten uns gut, wobei das Bruschetta Brot ein wenig einfallslos war. Das Manko am Restaurant ist, dass der Geräuschpegel relativ hoch ist und im Restaurant eine gewisse Unruhe/Hektik herrscht, so dass nicht unbedingt eine Gemütlichkeit aufkommt.

During our short visit to Rostock we spontaneously ate at the pizzeria L’Osteria. With luck we were given a table in the lower area by the window. We ordered the bruschetta as a starter and shared a pizza as the main course, as the pizzas are huge. Since we didn't agree on the topping, we were very happy that it was possible to top half of the pizza with “Crudo” and the other half with “Tonno”. That's what we call service. Thank you very much. The dishes came quickly and we liked them, although the bruschetta bread was a little unimaginative. The disadvantage of the restaurant is that the noise level is relatively high and there is a certain restlessness/hecticness in the restaurant, so it doesn't necessarily feel comfortable.

We felt very comfortable and ate really well. From the large selection on the menu, we chose the seasonal pumpkin soup, a pizza and gnocchi. The pizza was really huge. Questions and special requests were well addressed. Taking our dog with us wasn't a problem either

Losteria has my absolute favorite food. The crayfish pasta in lobster sauce! I always order them with gnocci instead of pasta. I can only recommend it! An Italian who not only knows pizza but also pasta!😍 Since I learned about pasta, I haven't ordered anything else. A real recommendation ☺️

Ordered 2 pizzas to pick up. When we got home there were 2 completely wrong pizzas in the boxes. I could have looked beforehand, but you can't assume that. Next time, more concentration please. We had to throw away a pizza because it had salami on it and we couldn't eat it. Say €18 away, thanks for that.
