Kuşbaşı pide contains no meat, but plenty of bell peppers. Perhaps it's due to the high demand, but service is also a problem.

We ordered soup and pita. The pita that came with the soup was leftover from the day before, and we reported it to the waiters when we found a piece of plastic in the soup. They didn't seem to be very sorry. Then my wife's pita tasted like coal in the middle and edges. We took it back to the restaurant where it was being cooked and asked for it to be replaced, but they practically attacked us, asking what was wrong and where it was burnt. We've never seen such a disgraceful establishment. We drove 100 km for this. What a shame.

The food itself was solid, but the pides were very standard and not particularly good. I ordered lahmacun and tried pide, but they were basically the same. So, the lahmacun and pide were the same. I had lahmacun at Uzun Taşfirini in Mannheim today, and it was legendary! But the real difference was made by our waiter, Hurşit Bey. I haven't seen a waiter this attentive, cheerful, and passionate about his job in a long time. He took care of my order immediately, paid attention to everything, and always had a smile on his face. I've eaten at many places in Germany, but it's hard to find someone like Hurşit Bey. Kudos to him!

We actually went there for the pide the first time. But why didn't anyone tell me how incredibly delicious lentil soup can be? It's served here with lemon and a basket full of freshly baked flatbread. We now come here regularly for the soup. The price is excellent at €5.90 for the quality, and the soup is truly filling!

Among all the top restaurants in Mannheim, this simple, traditional bakery is my absolute favorite. The lahmacun and pide are a must-try when you're in Mannheim. There's room for improvement in service: It takes a while to be recognized and served as a guest, and there are also relatively long waits for the food. But for what you get in the end, it's worth it!

I paid €11.90 for my Pide and a cola, which is honestly a great deal-especially considering I left full. Portion size is definitely solid, and the price-performance ratio leans more towards the wallet-friendly side. That said, the quality of the food was just okay. Nothing bad, but also nothing that stood out either. Service was a bit inattentive even though we were the only guests at first. They mixed up who ordered which pide, and my friend got a regular Coke instead of the Coke Zero he ordered. It's a decent spot if you're hungry and want something filling without spending much. Just don't expect anything particularly polished.

I was there recently and it was a great taste experience. I ate lahmacun. I have never eaten such high-quality and deliciously processed Lahmacun dough outside of Türkiye. This dough is not common in Germany and really seduced me and brought me to Turkey for a while. Service was OK. The ambience is warm and inviting. Unfortunately, I deducted a point for the following reason: there was no salad with the lahmacun, only pickled peppers, lemon and parsley. Especially with such a perfect lahmacun, I was missing the onion salad processed with sumac and some tomato and green salad. We had to wait very little to get a seat. In terms of taste, I can say that it is the best Lahmacun I have eaten in Germany so far and would definitely recommend it!

Everything is fine, but you should leave knowing that you have to eat and clear the table quickly. The bill with drinks was 32.20 Euros, but the manager charged us 30 Euros. I found this very neat, thanks again.

The service is very quick and very polite. The ambience is simple Turkish, you can eat right next to the stone oven. Bu durumu kendilerine anlattığımızda, önce şu anda sizin siparişinizi hazırlıyoruz dediler ama hemen sonrasında başlarından savarcasına isterseniz siparişinizi iptal edebiliriz dediler. Bu tavırlarından dolayı siparişimizi iptal edip ayrılıdık. Gördüğüm kadarıyla bizim gibi mağdur olan başka müşterilerde vardı ve orada bir kargaşa hakimdi. Sipariş süreçlerini kısaca özetlemek gerekir ise; Sipariş kağıda yazılır ve kağıt parçası görevli tarafından top haline getirilip fırındaki ustalara atılır, ardından fırın tarafındaki görevli siparişler arasından bir kağıt seçer ve şanslıysanız siparişinizi daha erken veya en iyi ihtimalle zamanında alabilirsiniz. I'm an business man from US. I stumbled across this restaurant while walking around and back to my hotel. On a cool, cold, night the soup was awesome , and bread, cheese, meat rolls are perfect. It's like a small rolled pizza. I totally recommend. I did not know Turkish.....Google translator helped a lot reading menu.
