The hygiene and friendly staff make you feel at home. The waiting time for food is normal, even good, depending on how busy it is. I ate the best lentil soup in Germany here. The diced meat and minced meat pide (Turkish flatbread) is thin, long, and has a wonderful flavor. It's a taste that makes you feel like you're in Türkiye. I think they should move to a larger location instead of opening branches. It's difficult to maintain the same taste when you open multiple branches. I wish them good luck and abundant profits.

The food was delicious; everything was freshly prepared by hand, which was clearly evident in the taste. The prices are very reasonable, and the value for money is excellent. The restaurant offers plenty of seating and is also well-suited for larger groups. The waiters were friendly and attentive, and the overall service was very pleasant. It's a shame they don't accept American Express, but that's not a deal-breaker for me. Highly recommended overall.

Everything is great, but especially on weekends or in the evenings, people can have to wait a very long time. I would humbly suggest that such a nice establishment move to a larger location (like Bursa Kebab House). Apart from that, the food is truly delicious, incredibly good!

We were there for lunch today (Sunday). The lentil soup was delicious, the bread fresh, but I wondered why so much bread was served for only two bowls of lentil soup. Half would have been perfectly sufficient. What happens to the rest? We also ordered lahmacun. In my opinion, it's overrated. The minced meat was blandly seasoned, a 5/10 in terms of taste. Overall, the lahmacun seemed rather dry.

In German standards, it offers a truly good taste. However, in a place where the average taste is very low, anything that's even slightly good can be perceived as the best. The products from the stone oven are like that. It's definitely not bad, in fact, it's good. But the reviews I read, the recommendations I received, and my experience led to it falling short of my expectations. I understand the crowds, but still, they need to prevent the pitas from being burnt. Instead of "pita with diced meat," they could call it "pelide with minced meat and diced meat," because it's not just made of diced meat. These are just things said to make it better. Otherwise, they definitely offer a taste far above the German average.

We ate pide with cheese and minced meat, and they were very good. We were told it would be unexpectedly busy at lunchtime because we arrived at a good time. We arrived around 11:30.

First of all, the food was fantastic, there's nothing to say against it... But the problem is the inadequate space and people having to wait in line outside in the cold. At least families with children and babies could have been given priority. I waited in line for 30 minutes with my 6-year-old child. Other families with babies also waited in line in the cold. I suggest you look into this matter.

A friend recommended this place to me, but I haven't been able to visit it yet because it's so far away. I'd like to go as soon as possible, though. Judging from the photos and videos, it's clean and does its job well. And the staff seems to be very popular with everyone. I've added it to my list of places I absolutely want to visit.

The wood-fired oven is great, but I think the tomato paste in the lahmacun filling was too much. Besides parsley, fresh lettuce in the salad would have been better. The closed pide is good, and the pastrami closed pide was excellent.

It was okay, but I've had better pides. Kuşbaşı Pide was more like Kıymalı Pide. I couldn't tell the difference.

It was definitely worth coming all the way from Stuttgart. The thin, delicious flatbreads and the perfectly textured lentil soup were amazing. I'm so happy to have found the flatbread taste I've been missing here.

We decided to go for a pide with diced meat on a holiday. They brought us a pide with minced meat and vegetables and called it a "diced meat pide." When we asked if it was a diced meat pide, they came up with 40 excuses. Their defense was, "We can't keep up, we're putting it through the machine." So we're essentially passing off minced meat pide as a diced meat pide. Are we surprised? Never, that's typical of our people. An honest shopkeeper is always a good person. The real bombshell was the food we ordered; if I hadn't seen how burnt it was in the packages, I wouldn't have known what to say. They probably even included that in the packages!

We came here after seeing it on Instagram. The service and attention were excellent; they were respectful and helpful to their customers. However, I can't say the same for their minced meat pide. The minced meat wasn't prepared with care. The bread and baking were good, but unfortunately, the flavor of the meat was lacking! Therefore, it's no different from other meat pide or lahmacun. In fact, I'd say it was unsuccessful. Still, for someone who hasn't eaten meat pide in Konya, Karaman, or Vienna before, it's good. Thank you for your efforts.

We ate here yesterday while passing through, and it was absolutely delicious. You immediately feel like you're sitting somewhere in Turkey – perhaps right in the heart of Istanbul. Everything is freshly prepared, and although the menu isn't extensive, you can tell right away: the quality speaks for itself. We started with a delicious Turkish lentil soup. Then we had one lahmacun and one pide with sucuk. The absolute highlight is the stone oven they use. It makes the lahmacun and the pastries wonderfully crispy and aromatic – just like I remember from Turkey, or rather, Eastern Anatolia. A definite recommendation if you're in Mannheim and want to eat authentic Turkish food!

You are greeted warmly, and your order arrives at your table within 5-15 minutes. It's a lively restaurant, and the stone oven ensures a comfortable temperature. Watching the staff at work in the kitchen is sensational; it's easy to see the skill and dedication with which the ingredients are rolled and prepared. A true art form. Both cash and card payments are accepted, and you don't have to wait for someone to ring you up; you can pay yourself at the counter. Since it's about a 5-minute walk from the city center, parking is readily available nearby.

We ate pita bread with bird's breath but it was tasteless and tasted like unsalted straw... The bread was good but the meat was very little and the spices were not good... There was no stone at all so we added salt and ate it like that.

On the recommendation of a Turkish friend, we went there together. We ordered two different pizzas and then swapped them. Although it was the first time I'd tried both, I really enjoyed them. My friend said that the taste was quite good by German standards and promised that he would order me an even better pizza in Turkey. The service was a bit slow.

UZUN in Mannheim is a small, cozy, family-run restaurant serving authentic stone-baked pide. The location is small but charming and often quite busy. The lentil soup was incredibly fresh and delicious. It was served with parsley and lemon, and a large bread basket filled with fresh bread. The pide itself was fantastic – fresh, crispy, and aromatic. You can immediately tell that they prioritize quality. On top of that, everything is really reasonably priced, especially compared to many other places. Highly recommended!

There are many options in Manheim, but many people recommend this place for lahmacun. It's a small place, so you might have to wait a bit. The lahmacun is passable for German standards, but it's not exceptionally good. They make long lahmacun, the dough is a bit thick, and the filling is delicious. The oven tandoori isn't very good. They don't serve salad, just parsley and lemon; it's not enough. The staff is friendly.

I've had the opportunity to try this place twice with Turkish friends. Both times, the lahmacun left a bad aftertaste. Also, I expected the lahmacun dough to be thinner. It was more like etli ekmek or pide. The lentil soup (actually more like ezogelin) was delicious.

This place is fantastic. The "lahmacun" (soup), the accompanying bread, and the salad are simply unbeatable. Six of us arrived and were quickly able to get in, then we started. Tactically, we had the soup first, then the lahmacun. Everything was excellent.

Kuşbaşı pide contains no meat, but plenty of bell peppers. Perhaps it's due to the high demand, but service is also a problem.

We ordered soup and pita. The pita that came with the soup was leftover from the day before, and we reported it to the waiters when we found a piece of plastic in the soup. They didn't seem to be very sorry. Then my wife's pita tasted like coal in the middle and edges. We took it back to the restaurant where it was being cooked and asked for it to be replaced, but they practically attacked us, asking what was wrong and where it was burnt. We've never seen such a disgraceful establishment. We drove 100 km for this. What a shame.

I had lahmacun at Uzun Taşfirini in Mannheim today, and it was legendary! But the real difference was made by our waiter, Hurşit Bey. I haven't seen a waiter this attentive, cheerful, and passionate about his job in a long time. He took care of my order immediately, paid attention to everything, and always had a smile on his face. I've eaten at many places in Germany, but it's hard to find someone like Hurşit Bey. Kudos to him!
