Uzun Tasfirini in Mannheim is a true gem for lovers of Turkish cuisine. The small, original shop in the heart of the Jungbusch district impresses with its friendly owners and authentic atmosphere. Particularly noteworthy is the Lahmacun: thin dough made from whole-grain flour, perfectly seasoned and freshly prepared.  The freshness of the food and the warm hospitality make every visit a special experience. In addition, the prices are very reasonable, which rounds off the overall package.  An absolute must for anyone looking for authentic Turkish food in Mannheim.

Great alternative to classic kebab shops: A well-kneaded and wafer-thin dough, preparation in a wood-fired oven and a massive mountain of parsley (together with lemon and chili) as a side dish make Lahmacun and Pide an experience.

Minced meat pide is very tasty, tastes like Turkey. The Ayran was particularly good and the staff were very friendly. A heartfelt recommendation.

We were lucky enough to get to know the shop on the recommendation of a friend and have been regular customers ever since for Mannheim's best Lamacun. The huge stone oven together with fresh ingredients and handmade dough in combination with always cheerful staff simply ensures a good mood and a full stomach at absolutely fair prices. PS: Please be sure to try the lentil soup when you visit, you won't be disappointed :)

Load Pide quite normally. Staff very friendly and helpful. But nothing special in terms of taste. In my opinion, YouTube is exaggerating.

Today we ate the best pide and lahmacun in Germany and it tasted like it came from Turkey.

The BEST Pide in all of Germany. It's not an Instagram Tiktok store, it's traditional and incredibly good. The guys are always nice and friendly, the service is top and all the food is simply delicious. If you want to eat pide or lahmacun in Mannheim, do it here, you won't regret it.

Lahmacun dough is great, but I can't say the same for the filling, unfortunately there is exaggeration in the advertisements. The soup is great and the atmosphere is pleasant. It's a nice place to go and eat with peace of mind.

The lahmacun were good, but it was too thin for me and not enough for one portion. The soup was OK. I just can't recommend the pide. Others can do that much better. The price is a little too expensive for the portions and for the pide it's not possible.

I'm an business man from US. I stumbled across this restaurant while walking around and back to my hotel. On a cool, cold, night the soup was awesome , and bread, cheese, meat rolls are perfect. It's like a small rolled pizza. I totally recommend. I did not know Turkish.....Google translator helped a lot reading menu.

If we want to eat Lahmacun we only go there, for me the best Lahmacun. My husband ate lamb in a clay pot and was also thrilled - the meat was very tender and tasted great. Friendly staff and comfortable seating when the weather is nice you can sit outside.

One thing in advance… there is no restaurant that offers better pide!! The quality has been No. 1 in Mannheim for years. This time too we really enjoyed the food - we will come back :-) It has expanded a little, and the seating area next door has been expanded. The best Lahmacun I have eaten in Germany. Taste wise a 100/10. Everything is totally fresh and prepared in the stone oven. The food was ready quickly. You go to this restaurant for the good food and not for an extraordinary ambience. But everything was authentic like in Turkey. There isn't a lot of space, but you can also order to take away. Since the renovation/expansion you can almost always find a place here. Simply great! Fresh pide with lemon, pepperoni and parsley. Insane price/performance ratio. Very tasty and very fresh! The food always comes quickly and the staff is very friendly. A classic in Mannheim! If you come once, you will come again. No matter if you are a meat eater, vegetarian or vegan. Highly recommended! The lentil soup (see photo) is also legendary! (if you wish you can also get parsley with more lemon + ultra-hot, delicious pepperoni)

We haven't eaten a better pide yet! Wow, we are thrilled. We also had the lentil soup, which was also delicious. We'll definitely be back to try out more pide variations! The conditions were all very friendly and we didn't have to wait long.

By far the BEST when it comes to pide or lahmacun. Almost all restaurants offer pide with minced lamb. Only here does it taste as good as in Turkey! Unbeatable for years.

I tried almost the entire menu, everything is very successful. Lahmacun is crispy and incredibly delicious. The pitas have plenty of ingredients and if you find a bagel, don't miss it, it is not like the market bagels in Germany, it tastes very good.

While paying the bill, I saw that there was Tandoori Kebab on the menu on the wall, and I regretted not eating it. We purposely made our way there 2 days ago. I can say that it partially met my expectations regarding pita. When I saw that there was Tandoori Kebab and started chatting with the master, he found out that we came from afar. I would like to especially thank the Master who made us nice by putting 1 nail pita and 3 Simits in a bag.

The taste was good, the prices were good, but the meat of the kusbasi pita was very small, it was like a pita with minced meat. The cubed pitas I have eaten in many different regions in Turkey were not like this.

Best pide of my life fresh from the stone oven. The plate with parsley and lemon was also perfect. Great recommendation (which I can only pass on here from the P&C cash register). I think the prices are fair👌

All dishes center around the MASSIVE traditional wood fired oven. Breads, slow roasted iron skillet lamb and more. If you look in and think the seating is full, look to the building on the left. They have 2x buildings for seating because it's well worth the visit! Lamb was succulent, bread perfectly baked, lentil soup golden and service great!

This is one of the best Pide I have ever experienced. It’s so thin and all ingredients are fresh. The bread is great and you can see how everything is made in front of you. You don’t get any usual sauces as a starter. The location is not the best.

By far the best pide far and wide!

We ordered minced meat and cubed pita, there was no difference between them. His cubed pita tasted just like minced meat. There were no cubes of live meat inside. The dough of the pita was like lahmacun, I was satisfied with that aspect as I like crispy dough, but I was expecting the pita dough to be a little thicker and crispier. Since the kashar they used was too oily, oil constantly dripped from the pita while eating the pieces. I wouldn't prefer pita, even compared to Germany's cheesy minced meat doner kebabs, but if I come across it again, I might give lahmacun a try.
