Kudos to Master Naim. There's no better lahmacun in Mannheim. It's amazing.

I regularly get a chicken doner kebab to go here for €5. It's one of the cheapest doner prices in the area. In return, I'm willing to accept a smaller selection of vegetables than elsewhere. The quality is always solid.

We ate juicy food, it was delicious, I recommend it

A wonderful experience, the size of the dishes is very large, the food is delicious and after finishing it you want to try it again, salad and tea were served as hospitality and this is very kind of them, brother Serkan is at the height of professionalism and kindness, all thanks to him, he was playing with the children in a very nice way, I highly recommend him ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I bought the mixed grill and it wasn't good at all, the Adana meat was very tough, the Pommes wasn't good, I didn't like the other meats either, I'm giving it two stars out of generosity...

The extensive menu and the central location in Fressgasse are plus points. However, this also results in high customer traffic and a correspondingly high production rate. The food (a cheese-topped doner kebab) looks better than it tastes, and the friendliness of the staff could be improved.

We were craving Adana Dürüm and we found this place. We read the reviews and decided to eat here. If you want a real Adana Dürüm than this place is definetely not what you are looking for. Lavash was too thick that kebab was almost lost in it. Also it had a lot of green salat. Mind you, Adana dürüm normally should prepared with onion salat which has parsley, tomato and sumach. We only enjoyed their home-made Ayran.

After a long day, we went to eat and my elderly grandmother and grandfather were tired and sat at the table next to us while waiting for a table. The staff came and warned us that we had to get up and we left without sitting down with very rude language and we were not satisfied at all. I definitely do not recommend it.

I was there for the first time today and I'm still sitting at my table. I had a chicken doner kebab with fries. The meat was super crispy, very well seasoned, and still juicy. The fries were also nice and crispy. The fresh salad was served in a separate bowl. The sauce was very good, as was the salad dressing. I also got warm flatbread. The service was very fast and super friendly. If you don't mind sitting outside near the street, this is a top place in Mannheim. I'll definitely be back.

The chicken was drenched in fat. The garlic sauce was a herb mayo. Not recommended. Only the fresh ayran was good.

The food was delicious, but perhaps the waiter should be taught not to yell at elderly German ladies, telling them to order from him instead of at the counter. A little friendliness wouldn't hurt, even towards people of non-Turkish descent. It's not in keeping with our culture and religion to treat older people with such disrespect.

It's very bad, I definitely don't recommend it. We wanted döner in bread, we only ate bread, it was like there was very little meat, not much salad, it was the first time I ate such an empty döner, I will never go there again.

Before the SV Waldhof Mannheim game against FC Ingolstadt, we quickly fortified ourselves in Mannheim city center. Service: The colleague in service had little emotion to offer. His face remained virtually expressionless throughout our stay. However, the order was taken quickly and we didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. - 3/5 Eat: I chose Beyti Kebap. Behind it is a “skewer made from minced lamb on toasted flatbread with garlic, yoghurt, parsley and salad”. I really liked the taste and didn't skimp on the sauce. However, the bread was not what I mean by toasted bread. This was basically the same flatbread used in a yufka. I ate it with appetite, but unfortunately it wasn't a highlight for me. - 3/5 Value for money: The Beyti Kebap costs €15.90 - my portion was too small for that, especially since I had to order a side dish (fries) separately. I wouldn't have been full from my main course alone. The small portions on my plate would also work as a starter for me and I'm actually not one to eat XXL plates. The quality is definitely positive. Sauce, meat etc. were great. - 3/5 Conclusion: I think I just chose the wrong dish that day. My colleagues' portions were double mine and a side dish was also included in the price. The food at Istanbul Q1 is really good, but unfortunately it wasn't my day. - 3/5

When you go to Mannheim, I would definitely like you to visit the Istanbul restaurant. It has very delicious Efes fresh food, the staff is friendly and helpful, it is always preferred. Istanbul restaurant sidetle is recommended 👍👍

Very tasty food and super friendly staff - what more could you want. And if the price-performance ratio is also right, it's even more pleasing. We each had an Adana kebab and a chicken grill plate. Every dish came with the obligatory salad plate. The meat was very well seasoned and still very juicy. This is especially important with chicken if it is not completely grilled until it dries out.

It was the worst meal I've ever eaten in my life. We said let's sit down first. The waiter friend was confused and did not understand what was happening. He showed us a table and we sat as 4 adults and 2 children. He misunderstood all the orders and brought them incorrectly. We did not understand what happened. Rice is always broken, mushy and dry. The meat was very bad. No one ate the doner kebab or the doner box. Everything remained as it was. The waiter's face is 5 square meters because we paid 38 euros and didn't tip. A place we will never visit again. We filled our stomachs with just french fries.

If the bread isn't homemade and is just bought in, the kebab can't stand out from the rest and 5 stars are out of the question for that reason alone. Standard kebab. Meat (veal) was not of the best quality. Lots of fat in it. Absolute (ABSOLUTE) standard kebab. Nothing special. No need to repeat. I can't say anything about the other dishes...

Was there recently for the second time. The food was great as always. Unfortunately our waitress (an older gentleman) left a bad impression. The gentleman ignored us at the beginning (we waited patiently at the reception until he came over), when we asked for a table for 2, he simply cheekily showed the table with his hand. We sat down and waited, no one came. Suddenly there was a better table and we wanted to change, he came by again and he spoke to us very loudly, we had to wait. When ordering he was impatient and rude. After that he never came by again to ask us if we needed anything else. I noticed that with other guests (male or with a male companion), this was not the case. The store was full at the beginning and I can understand that when you're alone you can be stressed (I worked as a waitress myself) but being spoken to so rudely isn't fair either. We did nothing but be nice and friendly. My mother is an older lady from abroad and wanted to discover Turkish gastronomy and unfortunately she felt uncomfortable with the whole experience. The lady who cleaned the table for us was very nice. Like almost everyone in Mannheim, we are guests of Istanbul. But I wanted to write this review because I thought that such a relationship between two guests was unacceptable. As a former waitress, I still left a tip at the end, but I haven't regretted it so much in a long time.

It gets very crowded on weekends, since the Turkish restaurants in the region are gathered in this square, you can add different places to your list to choose from. In terms of taste, it is a relative matter; frankly, you should not look for high quality in very crowded places.

I just ate there, the chicken smelled strange, and the kebab meat was really hard, the waiter was asked about it and he said no, it was fresh, he didn't even smell it.

Unbelievable! Conditions for just 2 euros extra, and you'll still be kicked out. The bread doesn't taste good at all either. Everywhere in Germany there is no difference between 'eating here' and 'taking away' - except here, where you have to pay 2 euros extra. Even one star is too many for you.

Excellent Adana!!!! I have rarely received such a well-prepared Adana grill skewer. The spices and consistency of the skewer were incredibly good and delicious. I can definitely recommend it!!! Unfortunately, portions are small, that has to be said.

Given the 4.6 star rating, we expected a good meal. Unfortunately the taste of the food was not good. Even a simple pide tasted like nothing. Since it's not the cheapest snack bar, we can't recommend it!

After eating a kebab, I first noticed a slight discomfort in my stomach area, which I initially dismissed as harmless digestive problems. But within a short time, this discomfort developed into intense pain that spread throughout my entire abdomen. The feeling of nausea increased quickly, accompanied by an unpleasant pressure in the stomach that pushed any feeling of well-being into the background. Eventually the urge to vomit became so strong that I had to give in to it. The violent physical reaction left me exhausted and weakened. Apparently my body had decided to get rid of what it had just consumed as quickly as possible. This experience left a lasting impression on me and raised questions about the freshness and quality of the ingredients used to prepare the kebab. A thorough review of food safety seems to me to be more than appropriate here.

The food tasted very good. I ordered chicken skewer and Adana kebab. Everything was very good. The staff were very friendly. The seating area is large. People with strollers can enjoy their food.

Vegetarian doner kebab is a complete disappointment. The bread is great, but they didn't put anything else in it other than salad and yoghurt sauce. There were almost no eggplants, zucchinis and potatoes. And how could there be no hot sauce? It's meaningless. Of course, after eating in Berlin, it's too much to expect anything from here.

In my opinion, far too little meat and far too fatty. You can also see how soaked the bread is. The bread is untoasted and therefore it just looks like fresh flatbread. For me, the bread for a kebab should always be toasted. The salad itself was fresh, but the total amount of the kebab is far too small and not justified at €7. I have no idea how others can rate this place so highly, but I was disappointed. The “waiter” also seemed arrogant and unsympathetic to me.

The best stews and kebabs in Mannheim are eaten here. Naim Usta's delicious meatballs are number 1 in Mannheim and their meatballs are number 10.

The food was good and plentiful. Doner chicken with cheese gratin and Dürüm doner with chicken. The drinks were served in the bottles with straws, which is fine for a snack.
