Das beste Köfte dass ich seit langem hatte, die gebratenen Auberginen, die Yoghurt- und Tomatensauce haben perfekt dazu gepasst. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ein fantastisches kulinarisches Erlebnis! Das Essen im MAY Topkapi war hervorragend, besonders die Fleischgerichte waren perfekt zubereitet und sehr geschmackvoll. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich, und das Ambiente am Marktplatz ist einfach unschlagbar. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Gutes Essen! Sehr lecker, aber leider war es meiner Meinung etwas zu teuer und etwas zu salzig (Oregano) ansonsten top. Mag den Laden. Werde bestimmt öfter mal vorbeikommen. Ebenso eine 0,2l Cola für 3,50€ ist schon nicht ohne.

Ich kann ehrlich sagen, dass es das schlechteste Essen war, das wir in Mannheim hatten. Das „Saç Tava“ kostete 22 Euro, aber es war das Geld nicht wert. Ich hatte nur Reis, und das Fleisch war zäh. Die Hühnchennudeln waren eiskalt, als wären sie direkt aus dem Kühlschrank genommen und nicht einmal aufgewärmt worden. Obwohl wir kalte Getränke bestellt hatten, bekamen wir viel zu heiße; der Ayran war sauer. Wir baten um zusätzliches Eis und Gläser, aber sie sagten, sie hätten keins mehr. Kurz gesagt, es war eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung.

Ihr Kaffee war frisch und aromatisch. Die Umgebung war ideal für einen längeren Aufenthalt.

Es ist sehr teuer, und das Angebot ist für diesen Preis sehr begrenzt. Ich weiß nicht, ob das in der ganzen Region so ist, aber Stuttgart war im Vergleich dazu deutlich günstiger.

Ein außergewöhnliches Restaurant im Herzen von Mannheim. Die Gastgeber sind überaus freundlich, das Essen ist köstlich und der türkische Kaffee ein wahrer Genuss. Weiter so! 💪💪💪

Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch und geschmacklich hervorragend – man merkt sofort die Qualität und die Liebe zur Zubereitung. Die Wartezeit war absolut angemessen, trotz guter Auslastung kam alles zügig an den Tisch. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, man fühlt sich direkt willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Auch das Ambiente hat mir sehr gefallen: modern, sauber und gleichzeitig gemütlich – perfekt, um entspannt zu essen und sich wohlzufühlen. Insgesamt ein tolles Restaurant mit hervorragendem Service und sehr gutem Essen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und kann MAY Topkapi uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wow! Fantastisch! Super! Das beste türkische Restaurant in Mannheim? Vielleicht. Das Essen ist wirklich köstlich, die Atmosphäre entspannt und der Service super freundlich. Die Speisekarte bietet eine tolle Auswahl an verschiedenen Fleischsorten und Soßen, dazu Nudeln, Reis oder Pommes. Hier kann man nichts falsch machen, alles auf der Karte ist einfach spitze. Ein großartiges Restaurant!

Das Restaurant May in Mannheim bietet ein rundum angenehmes Erlebnis , von der stilvollen Atmosphäre über den freundlichen Service bis hin zur hohen Qualität der Speisen. Das Lokal ist modern eingerichtet, mit warmen Farbtönen und einem entspannten Ambiente, das sofort zum Wohlfühlen einlädt. Ich habe mich für die Pasta mit Garnelen entschieden und war sehr zufrieden: die Nudeln waren al dente, die Garnelen frisch und aromatisch, dazu eine ausgewogene Würzung und eine ansprechende Präsentation. Highly recommended! We drove all the way to Mannheim to eat here. The lamb head soups are delicious, and all the kebab skewers are gorgeous—the meat is simply perfect. The service is top-notch!

The food was good but the waitress' treatment was extremely bad. While we were looking at the menus to order, the blonde waitress kept standing over us, it was very disturbing. Her attitude towards us was very cold and repulsive, as if she was saying "what are you doing here". She made us feel uneasy with her constant staring at us and her behavior. She was not smiling at all and from what I heard, she always looks like she is about to sulk and chase away the customers. The girl who used to work there was very smiling and greeted us very nicely and provided service, but my new waitress acts like we are forcing her to work. I have never experienced such bad service in any restaurant. The food was delicious but I can't stand this waitress again. The waitress needs to reconsider her attitude urgently. No customer wants to be treated like this. In a place, not only the food but also the quality of the service is important.

5 stars for everything but unfortunately only 1 star for the food. Pasta is too soft, it was cooked for a long time or left to stand in water. The Milano is actually Napoli hard cheese cannot be seen or tasted. There is also no basil on it like in the pictures. It was prepared with rapeseed oil, you can't taste or see any olive oil. The chicken tastes like fish, probably fried on the same pan. And it was put next to Pide, don't know why. 😅

We were spontaneously in Mannheim today and found this great restaurant away from the very full restaurants on the market square where people were sometimes queuing outside in the cold. I ate a chicken skewer with mushroom sauce, rice and salad. The food was excellent, the chicken skewer juicy and very well seasoned, the rice as it should be and the salad with a great dressing. The price/performance is outstanding. I can fully recommend the restaurant. Especially for people who want to eat comfortably.

Great restaurant. All dishes are freshly prepared and served hot. This is not the case with many restaurants in Mannheim am Marktplatz, so it's definitely a bonus point. All dishes were super tasty. Chicken skewers, schnitzels, sauces and fries are served fresh and hot. The pasta was also really tasty. And the salad is also well thought out and delicious. I'll definitely come back. The service was unprofessional and the food was inedible. I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant.

The waitress said that the menu I had chosen was extremely spicy, which did not influence my choice as I could read (it was clearly visible on the menu that it was very spicy) and judge for myself how much spicy I could tolerate. While clearing away, the waitress again had the idea of ​​having to lecture me about my own pregnancy, that spicy food would be very harmful for my baby, on the grounds that her relatives had had a bad experience with it (the baby would probably have a problem after birth on the neck) which I found to be very intrusive and out of place. I think she crossed a line. I replied that I was used to spicy food and it didn't negatively affect my pregnancy. To which she made me understand that I was intentionally harming my baby by acting selfishly and that the baby's health was my priority and not my eating habits. I would like to advise this lady to get more information before she causes unnecessary worries to other pregnant women. Spicy food in no way harms the baby, in the worst case it could cause heartburn or stomach problems for the mother, which everyone has to decide for themselves. I actually wanted to visit the store more often in the future. Unfortunately, because of this negative experience, I will no longer set foot in it, even if it was supposed to be well-intentioned advice. When it comes to pregnancy, you should be more careful before spreading any myths!

Sehr schönes Ambiente und wirklich nette Bedienung. Service wird hier sehr hoch angesehen was wirklich heutzutage leider nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist aber sein sollte. Wenn man nach fragt ob man was empfehlen könnte wird nicht das nächst beste gezeigt sondern auf die persönlichen Wünsche eingegangen. Dem Koch auch ein großes Lob für das hervorragende Essen.
