I had hoped to enjoy a late Sunday breakfast here, but having settled into a comfortable seat, a polite young lady informed me that no dogs are allowed. Pity. I found somewhere else...

Went to dinner at Neva last night, great cozy atmosphere, super friendly attentive service, the food was super tasty, everything was freshly prepared, freshly grilled, the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. We'll definitely be back

The only thing that was good was the ambience. Waitress nice, but doesn't respond to harmless extra requests. Breakfast with little choice. I usually only have breakfast at Sumak and today I wanted to try a different restaurant for breakfast and realized that I should stick with Sumak.

I know all the Turkish locations in Wuppertal, Neva is by far the best for breakfast! There was a huge selection of cold and warm dishes, everything was super fresh, we were thrilled! Please don't let up, it really is 10/10!!!

Very delicious restaurant. For breakfast they have a lot of plates with different food for every one. They can even provide gluten free breakfast (without bread) and have a lot of other things to offer. The outdoor area is located direct near the Wupper.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere (when the weather is nice, I can only recommend a late breakfast on the terrace. Large portions, we didn't manage to finish everything. Very important, there are mother's hands involved here and also not very well-known homemade baked goods, mezes etc. I felt like I was in Anatolia 🫶

The food is absolutely overpriced and too simple. You can also cook this better at home. A salad of cucumbers and tomatoes with crumbled sheep's cheese for just under €10? That's really cheeky. I wouldn't eat there again.

Lecker!!! I ch liebe es, dort zu essen. Man wird äußerst zuvorkommend bedient, sodass man sich wie eine Königin des Orients fühlt. And then you speak. Es ist einfach alles super gut abgeschmeckt und man merkt, hier werden gute Lebensmittel verarbeitet (mir ist so etwas wichtig). Wer authentische türkische Küche auf hohen Niveau sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Yummy!!! I love eating there. The service is extremely kind, making you feel like the queen of the East. And then eat. Everything is super delicious and you can tell good food is used here (this is important to me). If you are looking for authentic Turkish cuisine at a high level, this is the place for you!

Today I was in the city of the suspension railway, Wuppertal, at Neva Restaurant for a food shoot. Of course I took the opportunity to eat something: Tavuk Sis, chicken skewer. Prepared on a wood grill, very tasty. A nice atmosphere both inside and outside. And, very important, friendly service. Good parking options and easy to reach by public means. A very clear recommendation!

We tried this restaurant today. The food is delicious and filling. The spices used in the food were extremely special and there wasn't a long wait despite the crowd. The service was great. They are very generous and offered starters, tea and salad. The place is very beautiful and quiet. The outdoor seating by the river is really nice. I recommend it to everyone. Just remodeled for a week... Shortly after opening, no card payment is possible. Apparently only temporarily I suspect that the cash register is open or that the receipt accidentally falls down

First of all I would like to say that the restaurant deserved 4 stars, BUT due to the circumstances we decided not to go there anymore, hence 3 stars. You would visit a restaurant with 4 stars again… First about the food selection: Not a large selection of food, which is definitely positive because they only focus on the essentials. However, it is confusing: there are more dishes online (e.g. kebab, iskender) that are “missing” from the local menu. Probably because the map is new, so an updated online map would be important here. Taste: The taste was very tasty, everything tasted very, very good. Unfortunately our rice was cold, which was a bit unfortunate. Still, it tasted good. Service: You are greeted and received very nicely, the service was consistently positive. You even received a small starter with a small yufka bread and 2 types of meze. It was a bit disappointing that you really only received 1 bread for two, so there was no bread left, but still meze. Our neighboring table received 2 loaves of bread for 5 people, which I think was very little. But considering it's on the house, that's totally fine. At the end there was cay (black tea) on the house. Price-performance: The prices are set very high. 8.90 euros for 0.75l of water is too much. In addition, the prices of the main courses are also far too high compared to the competition in the area, considering the portions. We always do it like this: A little less is tipped on the first visit and a little more on the next visit. Unfortunately, it was very noticeable how the waiter's mood changed when he received “too little” tip. Suddenly the friendliness was no longer noticeable. This is absolutely not professional and should not be that way. We decided not to visit the restaurant anymore because of the price/performance, the cold rice and the waiter's reaction. Oh well.

Super delicious food and also a great selection of dishes. The service is also super attentive and accommodating. The 4 stars are only for one reason: there were over 6 spiders on the ceiling above our table. For someone like me (afraid of spiders) it's just difficult to be able to enjoy my food in peace. The Neva restaurant impresses with its inviting ambience and the option to sit both inside and outside. The location directly on the Wupper and the suspension railway passing by contribute to the special and patriotic atmosphere. The food is really excellent. The meat, grilled on a charcoal grill, acquires a delicious smoky aroma that further refines the taste. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent price-performance ratio. I paid less than €20 for my meal and tea, as you can see in the attached pictures. All in all, the Neva restaurant is worth an absolute recommendation and deserves a full 5 stars from me. One small point of criticism, however, is that cashless payment is currently not possible. However, I was promised that this issue will be resolved soon.

I had lamb shish and it was very tasty, I recommend it. My friend had Beyti and if you don't like basil in the sauce you might not like it. The tandoori bread was already ready, so it was no longer fresh. But the service wasn't bad and the view was nice because you can sit in the fresh air next to the cable car and the river. I'm sure it will get much better with time. I recommend you try it.

It was our first time eating here with the family. All the staff were extremely courteous and friendly, our son was in a bad mood and crying when we arrived. As soon as we sat down at the table, a waiter brought a portion of fries for the little one, so he immediately calmed down. Excellent handling of small customers, thank you for that! We ordered the menu for 4 people (salad, warm starters, dips, grill plate and baklava), all of it was of very high quality and very tasty. We are very grateful for the recommendation and would be happy to come back.

I had dinner at Neva Cafe & Restaurant with my family today. We had a grill platter, it was simply delicious. The starters were all very tasty. The service was a 10/10. We didn't have to wait long, the food arrived very quickly + we had a very nice atmosphere because we were right next to the water. This is my favorite restaurant from now on.

I had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant with my family and was amazed by the friendly atmosphere and warm service. The view of the valley was breathtaking and the charming voice of the cable car gave the ambience a special touch. The staff was extremely accommodating and the Turkish food was deliciously prepared. A truly beautiful place that I would happily recommend!

Being by the water is worth everything

Preferably no more stars at all. I have often ordered here but yesterday the food arrived cold and the meat was undercooked. They only answered my call next time and I'll give them a free drink. You pay €22 for a meal you can't eat and as a regular customer you're told something like that. It's not possible. Mistakes can happen, but reacting like that is sad.

The food tastes very good and the prices are completely reasonable. Only the service could be better. When you come in you get a grim look at first... a smile would be nice 🙂 and then you have to wait until someone comes to you (even if the restaurant is quite empty).
