The burgers were very good, I didn't think the service was that great. When we asked, we were given ketchup and mayonnaise and two bowls per person, which we also paid dearly🤔 the ​​drinks were a bit too expensive

Very tasty food, the pulled turkey burger was perfect and the homemade iced tea was very refreshing. The fries and homemade dips were also outstanding. The service was very friendly and accommodating at all times. The ambience was very appealing and designed to match the food.

I haven't experienced anything like that in a long time, which is a shame enough in itself. Every wish barely expressed is already fulfilled. When my daughter (6 years old) said the sauce on her burger bothered her, the waitress immediately offered to make it for you without it. Took the plate and actually came back a little later with a burger without sauce. Please please keep it up, it was a really great experience.

The staff was very friendly. The burgers were no longer super warm, but the side dishes were very warm. In the evening it would get very crowded which made it quite uncomfortable.

the burger was tasty but nothing really special. fries were really good and i fell in love with the souces we had. the problem i had was there were couple of flies and they were really annoying. this situation really had a negative impact on the place in my opinion.

Burger was amazing and a good service

The food was delicious, the burger was very good and the sweet potato fries also tasted very good. Although in my opinion you could at least expect sauces and not just dry at a price of €6 for fries. The waiters were very nice and the atmosphere was nice too, just a small shop. Definitely recommended because the meat tastes very good, even if there are still a few things to complain about.

We were seduced by the good to very good reviews. Unfortunately we (family of 5) were disappointed. We missed happy hour by 5 minutes, it's a shame that the waitress didn't want to turn a blind eye. Okay, maybe she couldn't help it... Nevertheless we stayed. We ordered burgers and fries (at exorbitant prices). The cheeseburger was served without cheese. When we asked the waitress about it, she said: “It’s in there”. We had to open the burger to prove her wrong. The service was even less friendly afterwards. Very unfortunate.

The ribs here were really great. Unfortunately, the business has continued to decline. The fact that the ribs are charred black in some smaller areas could perhaps be avoided, but that is somehow still part of the situation at a barbecue restaurant. The sauce has been used more and more sparingly recently. What was really particularly weak with our last order: The ribs arrived cold, had hardly any sauce and that hint of sauce was on the wrong (meatless) side. In addition, the ribs were cooked far too short, making them completely tough and they contained countless bone fragments that we kept biting on. Paying almost €20 per portion for this is really frustrating. The fries were very good, but that's not enough. We've been ordering regularly for a while, but today was the last time.

Really good burgers and fries. I had the chili burger, which had just the right amount of spiciness and was even cooked medium rare, as ordered. The fries were crispy and hot. The store is well organized. Although all the tables were set and the next guests arrived every time one became available, it wasn't hectic at all. The service staff had everything under control and was very accommodating. We'll definitely be back.

The ambience is quite cozy, the (presumably former) parquet floor on the ceiling looks good and the lighting is also atmospheric. The drink selection was good. The burgers we ordered with game, chicken and beef were very tasty and the fries were homemade and also impressive. To charge an extra €2 for the sauces without having one included in the price is quite risky, so you end up with €8 for fries & sauce. The Oriental Burger was a bit dry, they probably didn't take into account the lack of meat juice and should increase the sauce in the burger. Overall we had a pleasant time and delicious food, so we were pretty satisfied.

Loading is nice, but I can't understand the current rating of 4.7 and I don't see it as justified. Rather little meat and a lot of bread... onion rings didn't work at all. I understand how the store's reviews come about. Smells like cheating

It's probably the best burger I had outside the USA. Everything was juicy and had good fat. The sweet potato fries were good, although they were from a frozen and not made on site. Tasty food. The burger patties are unfortunately too small for the size of the buns they make and the black bun crumbled into pieces. Service was friendly, although they mix up the sides for every person at the table. Atmosphere is more fancy cafeteria. The prices are somewhat inflated.

A good burger joint. Small shop but willing to serve us. We went seven people without a reservation during two and a half hours and he told us to come back at half past three and he will have a big table ready for us and that's how it happened.

Our dinner at the restaurant left mixed impressions. As drinks we chose two shandy and a cola. The taste of the shandy was okay, but it wasn't cooled enough, which significantly reduced the enjoyment. For dinner we decided on two burgers – the “Upper Cheese” and the “Yellow Bird” – as well as a portion of homemade fries and a small “Upper Salad” as sides. The fries impressed with their pleasant consistency: hot and crispy, without being soggy. However, the pricing is questionable as the fries are not included in the burger price of 15 euros and have to be ordered separately. If you also want a sauce, you have to pay extra for it, which reinforces the impression of an unbalanced price-performance ratio. The “Yellow Bird” burger was solid overall, but the announced guacamole was not convincing in terms of taste. It was either portioned too sparingly or simply too reserved in flavor. The “Upper Cheese” burger, on the other hand, scored with good meat quality and an overall harmonious taste. Unfortunately, the small “upper salad” lacked freshness and seasoning due to the insufficient amount of dressing. Overall, the food was okay, but couldn't set any special accents. Especially in Berlin, which is known for its variety and high quality of burgers, the restaurant falls short of expectations. An average experience with room for improvement.

The extraordinary upper black burger

Reservation recommended! At first they didn't have a spot for us, we came back later and they seated us next to the kitchen for a few minutes until our table was ready 😊. Very friendly and helpful staff. Burgers were good 😍 loved the Upper Chili Burger. If there's one thing I would change is the temperature inside. Whenever the door opens it gets really cold in wintertime. Maybe try to find some kind of solution for that.

Despite a Friday evening and a full house, we still got a temporary table 👌🏻 We had a time slot of one hour, which was completely enough for us. Order went quickly and what can I say? Fantastic 💪🏻 We both had the Upper Wild with wild boar patty and the chilli cheese fries 🤤 Finally, a strawberry milkshake. 12/10 points 👌🏻 The next visit to Berlin is food-wise. This is the BEST place to come if you your meat! The ribeye steak was AMAZING, as was the burger! Good wine and great choice of beers and lager. We LOVED it and have booked to come again on the 26th Dec! The staff are friendly and helpful; our waitress was the lovely and charming Alina, and our waiter, David, who was also very accommodating. One of the most beautiful places in Berlin! You may not be surprised by the delicious beer, but the ribs are the must-have here! Moderately fried, juicy, and very deliciously seasoned - just what you need after a whole day of walking through museums or the streets of Berlin! A special advantage of the establishment is that the waiters know Ukrainian, it is very nice to hear your native language in the center of Berlin!

We chose hamburgers, they were delicious. Salads, fries, sauces and other accompaniments to the burgers are bought separately, which was a bit disappointing as the burgers are not large. We chose fries, they were very tasty and crispy, the BBQ sauce did not impress. The atmosphere is pleasant, there were a lot of people on Saturday evening, we had to wait for a table for about 20 minutes. Value for money could be better. Paying directly in front of the waiter is a somewhat unpleasant practice in many Berlin restaurants.
