Burgermeister in Berlin

My very first visit to Burgermeister left almost exclusively positive impressions. The chili cheeseburger may not look like much, but it was very tasty and, above all, really hot. The portion of fries is generous and you can use an unlimited number of sauces. Both together also satisfy the hunger, so the prices are okay. The interior is rustic, you may have to share the table with strangers.

Bürgermeister it's super delicious! Very good prices and also you have the feeling of professionality! This is also because of the way the manager Monir runs the place! Very nice person that even with the place packed up he still keeps his coolness and smile on and find the time to let the clients feel good! I used to work in restaurants/kitchens and this is a quality/skill very hard to develop! 💯😋✨🍔

The place has an authentic street food atmosphere, often located in unusual places, but the real magic is in the food. The sandwiches are incredible: juicy meat, soft bread and very fresh ingredients. The Meisterburger is an explosion of flavors, and if you love something stronger, the Chili Cheeseburger is the bomb. The bacon and onion fries are also a must try! The service is quick, the prices are more than fair for the quality offered, and the atmosphere is unique. Special thanks to Vishnudeep and Dilipkumar who made the experience even more pleasant, super friendly and professional. If you pass through Berlin, you can't miss this place.

Got in last night and order burgers and fries. It all came back cold so I took it back and asked for it to be rectified after which the guys behind the counter took it back and in about a minute the food was back, which was marginally warmer but at best lukewarm. One of them came over to ask if it was better and I told him it wasn’t really and asked if they had made it fresh, to which he just shrugged and said he didn’t know. I knew at that point it would be pointless to send it back again. Shocking. I always thought of burgermeister as a safe bet and just the other day had said to someone that no one in this city has any excuse to go to McDonald’s when this place is on your doorstep but this experience has me questioning that

The best burger I have ever eaten! I ordered it for the first time on Lieferando yesterday and OMG, it was so good!! The burger and fries were still crispy after the delivery and not soggy as some of my previous experiences!

Nice people By the way the burger was really hot and juicy! -1 for atmosphere but it’s just because I don’t like people who take place forever when you have to eat standing there. Also some public from outside can be really bothering you while you try to eat but that’s just the neighbourhood

It was the best hamburger I’ve ever eaten. Also the prices are reasonable. As a tourist you must go and try this EXPERIENCE. The Best! You need to know that you may have difficulty to have a sit at rush hours and sometimes you need to eat on someone else’s table. But as a traveler it is a good thing!

While outside the junkies and rats perfect their symbiosis in the shadow of the kebab shops, here I treat myself to the real crown of fast food creation. The Janitor Burger? A masterpiece! He takes care of my intestinal household so efficiently that even a world champion would be jealous - clear winner in the “Post-Burger enlightenment” category. In addition to the usual druggy chaos at the Kotti, this shop shines with a regular guest performance that is second to none: in the right corner sits a guy who eats a burger in an impressive 15 seconds without spilling a single drop of sauce - that's art ! And while I balance my burger with a classic 12 star - 1 burger ratio, I wonder why Michelin hasn't already pulled a star out of its jacket pocket. The patties? Juicy like a thunderstorm in midsummer. The Buns? Fluffier than a drunken pastry chef's fantasy. The sauce? A love letter to the taste buds! Conclusion: The Burgermeister is not just a place to eat, but an experience. If you don't stop here, you'll miss Berlin in its smoky, meaty essence!

Just a burger chain in Berlin. Better than McDoof but not that much either. It's quick, comfortable and consistently OK in quality. I still only go there when I'm in a hurry and there's nothing better available. No comparison to the burger shops in the Kreuzberg neighborhood. But not a mistake either. Fries with cheese sauce are not recommended, but that's just because of the sauce. The fries are good.

I came back after 5 years and I'm happy to see they have improved even more. Don't get me wrong! The burgers are still amazing! My wife just try them and she agrees but they have added some order screen that will help us people that don't speak the language making the experience even better. Try any burger and it will not disappoint, fries are great, even better with cheese, but im not so sure about the cookies

I had to take a star down as, even though I 50% of the time eat meat. They took away the vegetarian option, specially in Berlín, where it has become part of the culture to have vegetarian options everywhere, while also Bürgermeister being part of that culture... So yeah me no likey.

I love my burgers and had thousands in my life and from many different restaurants, homemade and in many different countries. The only comment for this burger shop is that…… IT IS THE BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!! We went there once to try it and fell in love. As we were on holiday in Berlin we only had the chance to eat this burger 3 times in different locations after following in love with it. And every time it was amazing every time

The reason why I gave 5 stars is not because it is the best burger I have ever eaten, I have already eaten much better ones, but if you look at the price and performance, it is really good because the price is quite affordable, the fries are great, but I think it is a problem that they are too salty, I recommend you to warn about this when ordering, by the way, pork If you don't eat bacon, all the pork ones are pork. Be aware, make your choice accordingly. It is difficult to find a place to sit inside. Since we are a family with children, some people gave us a seat right away, but there is a high probability that you will eat standing here. If you happen to be this way, I recommend you to try it. Simply the best burger I've ever had the pleasure of eating.

I'm disappointed with the burger for the second time in 3 months around midnight. Although it was the juicy caretaker at the time, it almost got stuck in the throat, sauce only on half of the roll, this branch has gone way down!

Yesterday I received spoiled, old, cold, dried-out food (1 x fries, 2 x hamburgers, 1 x cheeseburger) from my uber eats order. I felt sick while I was trying the first few bites in the store and complained about the food at the desk. They wanted to offer me more food as a replacement even though I complained of severe stomach pain and nausea since eating and they refused to eat it despite me returned it and very clearly described the reasons for refunding my money. I was told to contact uber eats even though I returned the food to the branch that same evening. They are not willing to offer me a solution of reimbursement/compensation for the damage I suffered. They took down my phone number and name, promised to take care of the requested refund and get back to me. On the phone, you pass the conversation on to all your colleagues for amusement and create noise on the phone and always hang up in the middle of the conversation. They don't offer a targeted solution; their colleagues have fun having the story explained to them over and over again. Bad, unprofessional, unhygienic dingy shop.

I am a big fan of hamburgers, but this one disappointed me, poor quality, I didn't like the taste of the meat at all, I don't know if it was a bad choice, but I didn't enjoy it.

Really good hamburgers 🍔 I prefer to eat the standard hamburger for 4.90, two of them and you'll definitely be full. The fries are also good, the Coke from the glass bottle is a must. The staff is friendly and the opening hours are really good 11am to 2am.

Usually I love burgermeister but the one from last night (22:30) was not great. Too dry and the lettuce was really flavourless and the bread seemed a bit old.

Last week I went here again for the first time since 2018 (1st visit) and the quality has remained exactly the same. Perhaps the best hamburger chain in all of Germany. There are even ordering kiosks at this branch. Highly recommended!

Not enough sauce. That would be my only complaint. They put barely anything at all. So if you're a sauce person like I am, you may way to order extra and avoid the potential disappointment. Otherwise, the burger was delicious ! Not much to say about service as you place your order at the kiosk and wait for your number to come up. Other than picking up your food, no real interaction with staff, but they seemed friendly enough. Not much of an ambiance to talk about, no music, screens or anything. If it's your first time you will choose your burger, any extras you want and then they'll ask what you don't want. So don't panic. I highly recommend and would definitely return. Enjoy!

While the atmosphere and service at Bürgermeister were decent, the quality of the meat left much to be desired. I ordered a cheeseburger, expecting a juicy, flavorful patty. Instead, I was presented with a dry, overcooked piece of meat that lacked any real flavor. The toppings were fresh, but they couldn't make up for the underwhelming patty. It's a shame, as the potential for a great burger was there. Perhaps it was just an off night, but based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend Bürgermeister to anyone looking for a truly satisfying burger.

Worst Burgermeister in Berlin! I am very shocked to see it is the best rated! - Food: The burger smelled like fish (maybe the bun?), and gave us a horrible after taste. Never have I ever thought I had the urge to brush my teeth so immediately after eating in Burgermeister. The bun was dry, and the patty not smashed. This burgermeister doesn't let you remove any of the default ingredients (such as fries without salt) which is allowed in all the other Burgermeister I tried in town. - Service: There's a short lady who is extremely impatient and rude. Staff seemed to be down and fed up, which made the service be quite bad. - Atmosphere: Pretty old. Lighting and the whole restaurant reminded me of a prison 🥲 The entrance to the toilets is blocked by a table and has some sort of fence. As a huge fan and loyal customer to Burgermeister, I'll never come back to this one, but others in town. Total shame.

Cheese fries +1 euro for jalapeños. There were very few of them. When asked, unfortunately there were no more. "We are only supposed to add 5 jalapeños. I can't give you any more because there are cameras" It's questionable if employees have to be afraid of it. On the same page also a cheeky pricing. Quality of the potatoes appears to be very good. However, the fries are often not really crispy, even though they are still hot. I wonder if they are kept warm. Veggie Petty is also generally mediocre.
