Burgermeister in Berlin

Yesterday I received spoiled, old, cold, dried-out food (1 x fries, 2 x hamburgers, 1 x cheeseburger) from my uber eats order. I felt sick while I was trying the first few bites in the store and complained about the food at the desk. They wanted to offer me more food as a replacement even though I complained of severe stomach pain and nausea since eating and they refused to eat it despite me returned it and very clearly described the reasons for refunding my money. I was told to contact uber eats even though I returned the food to the branch that same evening. They are not willing to offer me a solution of reimbursement/compensation for the damage I suffered. They took down my phone number and name, promised to take care of the requested refund and get back to me. On the phone, you pass the conversation on to all your colleagues for amusement and create noise on the phone and always hang up in the middle of the conversation. They don't offer a targeted solution; their colleagues have fun having the story explained to them over and over again. Bad, unprofessional, unhygienic dingy shop.

I am a big fan of hamburgers, but this one disappointed me, poor quality, I didn't like the taste of the meat at all, I don't know if it was a bad choice, but I didn't enjoy it.

Really good burger. Equally delicious french fries. It was even better with cheddar sauce. Fast service. I like it a lot. A place to go again and again.

Really good hamburgers 🍔 I prefer to eat the standard hamburger for 4.90, two of them and you'll definitely be full. The fries are also good, the Coke from the glass bottle is a must. The staff is friendly and the opening hours are really good 11am to 2am.

Fries and burgers were almost inedible. It tasted really rancid. I wonder how Burgermeister got so bad

Usually I love burgermeister but the one from last night (22:30) was not great. Too dry and the lettuce was really flavourless and the bread seemed a bit old.

You can easily get something simple and yet filling to eat here for under €10, and I was particularly impressed by the cheeseburger because of its authentic taste. 👌😋🍔

Last week I went here again for the first time since 2018 (1st visit) and the quality has remained exactly the same. Perhaps the best hamburger chain in all of Germany. There are even ordering kiosks at this branch. Highly recommended!

Not enough sauce. That would be my only complaint. They put barely anything at all. So if you're a sauce person like I am, you may way to order extra and avoid the potential disappointment. Otherwise, the burger was delicious ! Not much to say about service as you place your order at the kiosk and wait for your number to come up. Other than picking up your food, no real interaction with staff, but they seemed friendly enough. Not much of an ambiance to talk about, no music, screens or anything. If it's your first time you will choose your burger, any extras you want and then they'll ask what you don't want. So don't panic. I highly recommend and would definitely return. Enjoy!

While the atmosphere and service at Bürgermeister were decent, the quality of the meat left much to be desired. I ordered a cheeseburger, expecting a juicy, flavorful patty. Instead, I was presented with a dry, overcooked piece of meat that lacked any real flavor. The toppings were fresh, but they couldn't make up for the underwhelming patty. It's a shame, as the potential for a great burger was there. Perhaps it was just an off night, but based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend Bürgermeister to anyone looking for a truly satisfying burger.

The food is solid now. Very, very full and the seats are constantly reserved by guests even after the guests have finished eating.

Worst Burgermeister in Berlin! I am very shocked to see it is the best rated! - Food: The burger smelled like fish (maybe the bun?), and gave us a horrible after taste. Never have I ever thought I had the urge to brush my teeth so immediately after eating in Burgermeister. The bun was dry, and the patty not smashed. This burgermeister doesn't let you remove any of the default ingredients (such as fries without salt) which is allowed in all the other Burgermeister I tried in town. - Service: There's a short lady who is extremely impatient and rude. Staff seemed to be down and fed up, which made the service be quite bad. - Atmosphere: Pretty old. Lighting and the whole restaurant reminded me of a prison 🥲 The entrance to the toilets is blocked by a table and has some sort of fence. As a huge fan and loyal customer to Burgermeister, I'll never come back to this one, but others in town. Total shame.

My friend ordered flieschmeister but I will recommend Aller Klassen cuz it only 30 cent more n have double patties n everything (incl. Jalapeños n cheese) I'd need more salad but the burger quality was okay n I think it was a good pattie

Cheese fries +1 euro for jalapeños. There were very few of them. When asked, unfortunately there were no more. "We are only supposed to add 5 jalapeños. I can't give you any more because there are cameras" It's questionable if employees have to be afraid of it. On the same page also a cheeky pricing. Quality of the potatoes appears to be very good. However, the fries are often not really crispy, even though they are still hot. I wonder if they are kept warm. Veggie Petty is also generally mediocre.

I have no idea what kind of bamboo line and strange employees you have, but you can't order online. I've been waiting for an hour and your incompetent employee can't even understand an address

Authentic atmosphere, ordering via screens, very popular, therefore always full and correspondingly long waiting times. Very good smashburgers with a large selection. Side dishes are also really good and everything is visually very appealing. I can only recommend!

Decent burger for a fair price. The fries seem to be home made, you also get free mayo and ketchup.

The burger and fries were honestly pretty good. I also liked the vibe of the establishment (I attach a few photos) as well as its urban feel. The music that was playing when I went was also TOP.

Just a very mid experience. The fries weren’t that crispy or good, and definitely needed salt. The burger was fine but tasted a bit more like a sausage patty than a burger. The saving grace was getting jalapeño on it. Overall it’s fine if you’re drunk and need food but otherwise, skip it.

Delicious burgers at a very affordable price. We were the first customers there that day, so I don't know about the queues at this place. You can order at the screen, via the application, so there will be no problem with communication. You can pay by card, which is not normal in Berlin. The burgers are large and very good, one of the best I've ever eaten. I recommend!

I am a person who has a low vision disability, I thought all burgers were meat and I chose a vegetarian one without realizing it. I had to buy a beef one because they don't separate the vegetarian ones from the beef ones. What a disappointment... The truth is that I got angry and all because they don't do their job well on the menu/screen. Let's not assume that everyone has to see well or live here to know what burger they should order...

Unfortunately, the burger didn't live up to my expectations and couldn't even compete with McDonald's, even though it was more expensive. The quality and taste left a lot to be desired. Despite the higher price, the value for money was disappointing. Considering the number of burger restaurants in the area, there are definitely better options.

Look at my takeaway fries. Does it really look the same to you? I asked the manager to redo the dish for me and got toughly rejected. Disappointing this time!

We got take takeaway with fries. I requested something small that we can put ketchup mayo. Because we were going to walk around 15-20 mins and eat our food there. The worker told me its not allowed to give something. Isn't that ridiculous?! We had to put the sauce next to the fries and when we arrived at the location the fries were soft and not enjoyable. I like burgermister but this is a huge minus! It's easy to take for each extra item inside of the burger - 2€ But so hard to give 1 cartoon for the order around 20€?

The evolution Burgermeister in Berlin parallels that of the city - a downward spiral that seems to have no end. Once, a solid junky burger, now you can revel in what tastes what I imagine oversalted cat-meat must taste like. With the newly installed self-order machines, now instead of humans getting your order wrong, a computer can, and you will have no one to speak to. The ambience is a mix of that of a late-night subway car and an overlit supermarket, and the taste of their burgers must be designed for all the meth smokers who hang out just around the corner.
