Ulanen Hof in Saarbrücken

Great cuisine, nice ambience, great prices.

Been here several times. Food is good. Beautiful location inside and out. The service staff are also very nice. Why only 2 stars? This year the Ulanen Hof invited people to get together around the St. Martin's fire. The St. Martin's pretzel not included. It would be manageable if you didn't charge €3.50 for a Martin's pretzel. Unfortunately, the size of the pretzel corresponded to that of a normal pretzel. I have already been to several St. Martin celebrations in several communities. At every event at least something was given to the children. Unfortunately, profit is the top priority here.

The outdoor events are always well organized and worthwhile. Especially the musical accompaniment (Skaver!!) in the afternoon. Always my pleasure.

Here you have heavenly peace and you can switch off and eat well.

Food is okay to good. It's just a very nice place where you can enjoy food in a relaxed manner in the summer, even with wilder children

My favorite meal in Saarbrücken, it's like a short vacation there every time. Lots of vegetarian dishes and everything is fresh. Very highly recommended :)

80th birthday of a friend; an ideal place for multi-generational celebrations.

Beautiful restaurant in nature with a large beer garden. Friendly staff, good value for money. We were there for a larger event and were presented with a diverse, vegetarian/vegan buffet.

My absolute favorite restaurant. I think it's great that the menu is never too overloaded and is very clear. And what is offered is always very tasty, fresh and prepared with heart. Highly recommended.

Eine schöne Lage - wirklich mitten in der Natur. Und das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir werden bei Gelegenheit wieder kommen.

Beautifully situated not far from the city and the highway and yet surrounded by greenery with a beautiful view. Were there for the first time today and not the last time. ...and for me as a Bayreuther Bier Franconian, it was like a little bit of home. Good Maisel’s Weisse or Bayreuther Helles (both awarded gold 🥇). The team is very friendly and quick, the food is on the table quickly and delicious. It's nice if there's a bit of Franconian cosiness in Saarland too.

Nice restaurant and nice staff. Food and service are also ok. The location is very nice, ideal for a walk and then stopping off at the Ulanenhof.

We celebrated our wedding there and were super satisfied. The food was very very good and the staff was very accommodating and very friendly. Furthermore, the atmosphere was exactly what we imagined. For the next celebration we are considering the Ulanen Hof again, it is highly recommended.

This food makes you happy. Truly first class! Philosophy and implementation absolutely valuable.. Unique ambience. Warm staff! We are regular guests here! Also highly recommended for larger groups, birthdays, wedding parties, etc.!

Finally a cozy beer garden where vegetarians can find a large selection of delicious options. - If you look around you will find many small, thoughtful details that make the restaurant a very family-friendly place.

The perfect place to simply unwind. Also ideal for families with small children, as there are many types of activities on the farm. In addition, the food always tastes excellent. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Very nice outside in the summer. Sitting inside in the winter...well, then it's just "allotment garden style". Nevertheless, the food is great (a lot from local producers) and so is the service!

I've been visiting regularly for over a year now and all I can say is that it's hard to get a better schnitzel. Service always polite and attentive. The quality of the food has been top every time so far. The new extended opening hours are also a welcome change.

Maybe this is actually a cool location, but Thanksgiving on October 3rd. Was pretty poor. The live music was ok, but unfortunately there were no giant pumpkins and that's kind of what I expect from a Thanksgiving festival.

Toller Biergarten im Grünen, komme gern wieder

Alternativer Biergarten in grünen.. schönes Ambiente.. vom Essen darf man nicht viel erwarten.. Salat ok.. aber Rest wird durch Fritteuse gezogen.. sehr fettig… für mich eine Enttäuschung — hätte auch das Essen der anderen nicht haben wollen..

Hatte einen Kaffee und Käsekuchen. Beides war gut. Für Bedienung war nett und zuvorkommend.

Wunderschön gelegenes kleines Restaurant mit großem Biergarten,rundum Wald und Wiesen.Kinder können hier toben und rennen,der Vierbeiner darf ebenfalls mit.Das Essen war frisch und lecker,die Getränke kühl,ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert😀

Ich war am 1. Mai dort. Es war extrem voll, das Ambiente war wunderschön und der Ausschank war unmöglich. Zuerst musste man das Geld in Bons umtauschen, die Schlange bedeutete 15 Minuten warten. Das Anstellen an dem Ausschank bedeutete noch einmal 20 Minuten. Die Bedienungen konnten nichts dafür, es war einfach sehr schlecht organisiert.

Trotz einer internen Veranstaltung, Kindergeburtstag, haben wir einen Platz bekommen und gepflegte Getränke.

Super nettes Team, sehr ursprüngliches Essen, totale Entschleunigung und darüber hinaus auch noch ein angenehmer Geschäftspartner. Man kann hier Zeit und Raum vergessen und bei tollen, frisch zubereiteten Speisen total entspannen. Vielen Dank für die netten Stunden

Leider sehr geringe Auswahl an Speisen, insgesamt und auch für Vegetarier. Die Sitzgelegenheiten draußen waren recht hart. Das Essen an sich hat leider nicht so geschmeckt und wir gingen alle hungrig nach Hause, haben für den Preis etwas anderes erwartet.

Schönes Ambiente mitten in der Natur Gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten, wenn auch etwas schräg. Das Essen ist sehr einheitlich, meiner Meinung nach schmeckt es ähnlich wie aus dem Tiefkühler bzw Dose. Die Gnocchi in Tomatensauce hatten eine sehr einheitliche und weiche Konsistenz sowie Geschmack. Das Schnitzel war okay, der Kartoffelsalat schmeckte nach nichts mit einem Hauch von Kartoffeln. Die Bedienung ist stets bemüht, leider bekamen wir nicht die bestellten Getränke. (Ähnlich ergang es unseren Sitznachbarn) Zwei Sterne für die Location, für den Rest ist noch Luft nach oben. Ich werde erstmal nicht mehr hier her kommen.

Sehr schönere Ort zum Chillen und Entschleunigen in der Natur und dazu noch sehr leckeres Essen in Bio Qualität, kann ich nur empfehlen 👍🏻

Super Essen, freundliche Bedienung, und das schönste Ambiente in Saarbrücken. Kellner/innen waren sehr freundlich, und sogar der Koch kam, um uns das Essen und die Zutaten ganz genau zu erklären. Kann man nur mit 5 Sternen weiter empfehlen.

Im Biergarten kann man enstpannt auch in größeren Gruppen essen und trinken

Teilweise sehr überteuert, dass steak war nicht wirklich gut (faserig, kein Röst-/ Grillaroma), die Rippchen waren dafür gut (trotzdem eher teuer) und Personal recht freundlich

Essensauswahl mehr als dürftig. Tisch war eine reine Katastrophe, auf der einen Seite eine Dornenhecke, auf der anderen direkt ein Busch und Baum. Kein Platz zum sitzen. Am Tischende ein Loch im Boden bzw. eine Gehwegplatte vom Sonnenschirm. Bei einer anderen Sitzgelegenheit würde das Fazit wahrscheinlich besser ausfallen, alles noch sehr sehr ausbaufähig.

Sehr schöner uriger gemütlicher Biergarten im Naherholungsgebiet Almet

Das Restaurant und der Biergarten schliessen sonntags um schon um 18:00 Uhr. wir wurden nicht mehr bedient

Komme öfter zum Essen in den Ulanenhof und bin jedes Mal sehr zufrieden. Man sitzt sehr gemütlich, wenn es wärmer ist ist es auch perfekt um nach einem Spaziergang draußen einen Kaffee zu trinken, der Service ist nett und zuvorkommend und vor allem das Essen ist super schön angerichtet und schmeckt auch so, ist auf jeden Fall sehr zu empfehlen :)
