Interesting place, somehow old but modern as before but without the mustiness. Deliciously eaten married. Waiter great.

I've been there a few times, but I don't think I'll go back. I asked to have my leftovers packaged, but they threw my food away. And they packaged food of a completely different quality. They didn't even apologize; I guess they thought they could fool me.

Very pleasantly surprised! Great food! Very friendly and fast service! Best to make a reservation! The outdoor seating is really nice and comfortable! We'd love to come back!

We were in this restaurant for the first time today. It was fully booked down to the last table. The service was friendly. We chose the Saarland tapas as a vegetarian option. After almost 10 minutes we already had our food. I was totally disappointed, zero taste, the flour dumplings were very dense. The sauerkraut for the dumpling was very hard. Luckily there was salt, pepper and Maggie on the table. Only the Dibbelappes tasted good. Too bad….

It's already a cult restaurant in Saarbrücken. Food was good, service was a bit annoying at the beginning and unfortunately the atmosphere was also very loud. But you should have experienced it.

A very nice restaurant. Delicious food and great service. We had Saarland tapas. We ordered 3 per person. It was definitely too much. But since we wanted to try everything out, it was very practical. The best tappa was Dibelabbes. Delicious. We would be happy to come back next time we visit Saarbrücken.

Absolutely brilliant shop. The food is super tasty and you have the right selection on the menu and not a thousand dishes (Saarland schnitzel is recommended). Add to that the great cocktails (Amalfi Sour ftw^^) and the top service! Everything fits here!

Absolutely recommendable regional Saarland cuisine in a homey, but not old-fashioned atmosphere with a young, friendly, committed team who clearly enjoy their job. You should definitely make a reservation in good time, even if there are only two of you. The portions are definitely great, whether with or without meat.

We've eaten at Hilfe & Heinz several times and so far it's been really great! In summer you can sit outside in the garden and enjoy your food/drink (make sure to reserve in advance). Great value for money Service top, really very nice and the ambience, well you feel Saarland, in a positive sense :) We would love to come back when we visit Saarbrücken. Well-attended, home-style restaurant in the center of Saarbrücken. The menu offers a wide range of classics such as schnitzel to regional cuisine. There is a bar in the front area and the guest room right next door. The room is intended to convey a modern restaurant feel and does. It was a bit of a shame that our table wasn't set at all. There was no blanket or any other decoration. The food comes to the table after a reasonable time. All dishes were beautifully presented and tasted great. Unfortunately, around 10 p.m. the music in the bar was turned up so it was no longer possible to sit together comfortably. A little more attention to detail would be good for the restaurant.

A restaurant with a simple, beautiful atmosphere. The food is fine for someone who doesn't know this from home. For me it was missing some spice. Nevertheless, I give it 5 stars because Saarland cuisine is well represented here. Unfortunately I can only give the service 3 stars. Of the 3 women, only one was able to control the "chaos". The staff seemed “slightly” overwhelmed. The waiting times (e.g. to order something) were a bit too long.

An absolutely disappointing experience - food was AWESOME We were looking forward to a traditional Saarland special dish, but unfortunately it turned into an absolute disaster. The dish, which was served with a “herb sauce”, was simply inedible. The taste was so extremely over-spiced and disgusting that we had to leave everything behind after a single bite. It was 10 times worse than the smell when the plate was put in front of us and the unsavory photo we took, people thought it was vomit. When we told the waitress this straight away, there was only a 10% discount - a bad joke as we had to pay for almost all of the dish even though it was impossible to eat. We then had to eat somewhere else, which made the experience even more expensive and frustrating. This visit was a total failure and we strongly advise anyone not to go here. That was an absolute insult to Saarland cuisine and was by far the worst restaurant visit we have ever had - an absolute disaster on all levels.

Yesterday I spontaneously wanted to go to Hilde and Heinz with my girlfriend. A few friends had recommended it to me in advance, which is why I didn't enter the store without expectations. When we got there, half the restaurant was empty, and when we asked if there was still a place, we were answered with a stupid "Nope". This was a bit annoying, as no good service should actually react like that. That's really a shame because an answer like that no longer makes you feel like you're in good hands, which really surprised us because of the many good reviews. Too bad. I don't think we'll visit Hilde and Heinz because of that.

Difficult :) So the service was great! Attentive and friendly at every moment. The atmosphere was also cozy. BUT we didn't like the food at all (and that's why we go to a restaurant). The fried potatoes were a disaster and had nothing to do with BRAT potatoes. Food partially dripping with water, fat, etc. Unfortunately, Dibbelabbes was a tough mess. Lyoner was burned. Etc. etc. As I said, just our opinion...

I'm a bit surprised at the reviews about the food. Service was really top, absolutely friendly and attentive. Ambience is also pleasant. But the food was quite a meal. I really like the Saarland dishes themselves, but I can't see anything more than an orientation towards them at Hilde and Heinz. We were a larger group and tried it out. Cheese spaetzle had no taste at all, the veggies were really bad because of the sauce. For the burger, the fries were fantastic, the burger was ok. Dibbelabbes looked more like a piece of burnt foccacia bread. Overall, great location with good service and good beer. But I wouldn't recommend the food and the price is quite high for the quality.

The taste is really great. There is a perfect selection of dishes and the fact that if you can't decide you can just get tapas is brilliant. We were very satisfied! The restaurant was very clean, but the ambience wasn't our cup of tea, but we'd love to come back!

Quite nice, food tastes bland, is a bit bland... But that's my personal opinion, it was worth the experience but I wouldn't go there again because of the food. It's just because I'm passionate about cooking myself, and I realize that there's still a lot I could improve on in terms of taste.

You went in here and unfortunately have to agree with a previous comment. The waitress approached you with a sharp, hissing tone saying that there was no space available and that it was reserved, even though there was no reserved sign. This is not recommended and you went somewhere else

Hilde & Heinz offers really good Saarland cuisine. I had the Saarlandschnitzel, which was really tasty. The side dishes (salad and fries) were quite small, but I was able to order more fries without any problems. It was explained to me that many guests prefer fewer side dishes and therefore the portions are smaller - but you can reorder for free. A great idea, it's just a shame I didn't know that beforehand. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is comfortably furnished. Overall a positive experience!

Very good inn in Saarbrücken with typical Saarland dishes. We particularly like the selection of Saarland tapas and the selection of vegetarian dishes. The selection of aperitifs and beer also leaves nothing to be desired. In summer it's lovely to sit in the beer garden. The service is sometimes a bit clumsy, which we have unfortunately noticed on all our visits so far. Still nice and friendly. Be sure to reserve early!

If you want to eat typical Saarland cuisine, this is the right place for you. The ingredients are freshly and tasty prepared. If the portion is too big for you, you can have the leftovers packed up. Absolutely recommended. You should make a reservation. Good middle-class regional

I can't say anything about songs, we had reserved and were in Saarbrücken on time, but since it was wine season and an event at the State Theater and the Q Park was closed, we couldn't find a parking space despite searching several times, and there was simply nothing to be found further away Then 15 minutes after our reservation we received a cancellation from the restaurant 😔, as if we had gone to another restaurant to eat, what a shame, we tried several times to let them know by phone while we were on the way, and no one answered the phone.

Had dinner here with a larger group. The typical Saarland food was very tasty and I thought the option to order tapas was great. The portions are quite generous. Unfortunately, the waitress tried to collect the tip twice and explicitly asked us about a tip, even though the total bill already included a tip. That doesn't actually work at all.

Nothing special, Wirtshaus salad only tasted like vinegar (20€) Toilets very outdated. Staff was friendly, but can't make up for the poor quality of the food. For me it was the first and last visit there.

War ein wunderschöner Abend mit sehr gutem Essen und schöner saarländischer Atmosphäre. Qualität des Essens sehr gut und die Bedingen so wie der Besitzer sehr zuvorkommend!! Wer gute saarländische Küche mag kommt an „Hilde und Heinz“ nicht vorbei!!!! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder👍

Unfortunately I have to say it was the first and last time there. Mini portions at a high price. Salad was very sour, steak not seasoned well. Unfortunately, the spaetzle was also blandly seasoned. The mini schnitzels were ok but really mini mini for the money. My conclusion, price/performance is not right. But the owner is great and very friendly, the place is nice

We probably won't be back any time soon. There were three of us there and we ordered the tavern tapas: the cheese spaetzle was just a mushy mess with tasteless cheese. The egg salad was swimming in a curd-like, tasteless sauce, the mini schnitzel was carelessly warmed up and wobbly, we had to complain about the merguez twice before it came to the table fully fried. Only the Hilde&Heinz cocktail was fantastic. The service was ok, but only because the two service staff were very friendly, but not because we waited 45 minutes for our table to be cleared.

Food had no spices and tasted of nothing. The Jägerschnitzel with Champions had 3 mushrooms. Sauce also tasted way too much like red wine. The sausage salad consisted of pure oil. We had hoped for more from the food. Service very friendly and nice atmosphere

Really worth a visit if you are in/from Saarbrücken

The ambience is exceptional and the staff is friendly. All the furnishings look very appropriate, although some are thrown together. The food tastes good, but we weren't particularly impressed by the extremely high fat content of the various dishes. For people who want quick, greasy Saarland cuisine, the shop is certainly an insider tip. Overall, we were satisfied with the exception of the high fat content in our dishes.

I am absolutely disappointed and downright angry about my visit to this restaurant. The food was a disaster! Everything tasted like nothing, as if something had just been thrown together carelessly. The ingredients were obviously not fresh and the whole thing was barely edible. How dare you serve something like that? That was absolutely not worth the money. But what makes it worse is the absolutely terrible service! The service was unfriendly, slow and didn't seem to care about the guests at all. I've never experienced anything like this before. This restaurant is a disgrace and definitely not recommended. I will definitely never come here again and strongly discourage anyone from even considering this restaurant.

A quaint but cozy pub that serves typical Saarland dishes in a wide variety of variations. Very friendly staff and large portions that are really delicious are 😋 I can only recommend this pub and would eat there again at any time.

Heinz Lemonade is the best homemade lemonade in town! Addictive and perfect for a hot summer day. This time, to celebrate the day (the book publication of “Hellersdorf – Come to write”), we were a bit keen to experiment and also ordered the pub limo. Both delicious!

Real Saarland food. Dibbelabes, horrige, mergues etc. Everything hearty and strong. You can sit very nicely in a courtyard under a chestnut tree. Very friendly and attentive service. If you have more than one, you should make a reservation. However, the prices are already at the upper end of the spectrum. Parking nearby is difficult as it is in the middle of the city center.

When you read the menu, everything sounds good and is well prepared. However, there is plenty of room for improvement in terms of taste. I was really looking forward to a Jägerschnitzel, but unfortunately it didn't taste good at all. Wine sauces can also have flavor and do not have to be sour. Spices were missing, especially salt. My companions were also very disappointed. Doesn't have to happen again
