Very small and very casual place. Good for a quick dinner however

Nothing special in terms of taste. Lots of fatty meat and leafy greens. They skimped on tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. The bread was very soft.

All food is fried in the same fryer. This gives all the dishes a very strange aftertaste. That's certainly not hygienic! I politely addressed it, and the unfriendly supervisor became insulting in front of everyone present! And then you go one step further and lie in your response to my review. It's about how vegetarian fries shouldn't taste like bratwurst!

Very good and authentic food. The lamb curry and biryani rice are a solid 10/10. The main courses are richly spiced and a veritable explosion of flavor! Afterwards, we drank an authentic Afghan spiced tea with milk. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We have been visiting the Hofgut for many years and greatly appreciate the beautiful view and the food on the terrace. Unfortunately, our visit on Saturday did not live up to our usual standards. My schnitzel was mostly greasy and inedible, and the service deteriorated considerably: tables were rarely cleared or only cleared upon request, a non-alcoholic shandy was served with alcohol, and our repeated requests for a tablecloth went unheeded. When the neighboring tables were vacated in the evening, the used dishes remained there for over an hour—probably even longer. It's a shame, because the service and quality currently do not match the price. We hope this was just an exception and that the usual quality will be offered again in the future.
