Unfortunately the food has deteriorated and is more of ready-made products. If you can get a table in this prime location, even on Sundays and public holidays, without booking in advance, that speaks for itself... The home-brewed beer and non-alcoholic fizzy drinks are simply delicious, hence the 3 star rating. There is no children's menu, but most dishes are available as children's portions.

Super cool staff, food, drinks simply delicious, ambience simply cool, toilet free and clean. Only recommended.

The visit is always excellent! The ambience was great and the food also tasted very good. It's worth making a reservation in advance as the restaurant is always very busy.

We were there with 5 people. We found a place straight away without any problems, the drinks arrived after 10 minutes and the food after 16 minutes. Large menu, service very friendly and quick, prices tolerable for this city location. We found only a shashlyk made from bratwurst (without warning) and no mustard to get used to 🫣

We had a short but very good stay and would come back at any time. The service was great and you felt very welcome. The beers were delicious, we each had a small sample portion. Price-performance is right. Clear recommendation!

Heute zum Brunch im Turmbrauhaus gewesen. Das war eine Rießen Enttäuschung. Die leeren Auslagen wurde nicht sehr zögerlich aufgefüllt, keine frisches Obst, Gemüse, nur eine Sorte Brötchen. Die Bedienungen standen lieber zusammen und haben gequatscht als sich um das abräumen von leeren Tellern zu kümmern oder um das Nachlegen des Buffet. Das einzig Positive war das es eine Kaffee und Tee Flatrate gab. Fazit. Nie wieder Brunch im Turmbrauhaus

A MUST when visiting the town hall: eat in the TurmBrauhaus beforehand! But of course also when we are out with friends... We really like the atmosphere... we've never encountered unfriendly staff there... the offering is very diverse and... it's delicious!!!

My brother and I went in and waited 15-20 minutes for the waiter to come over and take our order, but everyone walked past us without noticing us. My first impression: 0 stars!

Wasn't there, but know it and have eaten there. The pike perch fillet was good, but I had a bone in my tooth that had to be removed at the dentist and I couldn't start my vacation until later. Didn't have to have. But they can't do anything about it.

We had lunch here. It was a successful Christmas Day. It's great that it's open on the 24th.

The atmosphere is not really nice... but still well attended. Service also depends on the employees' form on the day.

The New Year's Eve celebration was simply great. The buffet had something for all tastes and was constantly replenished. Even something as special as oysters was offered. Plus an extra midnight snack, perfect. The entertainment from DJ Thomas, the Helene Fischer Double and Power Play, a healthy mix even if you don't like hits. But the most outstanding thing was our waitress Dominique. Super attentive, quick, friendly

Turm Brauhaus in Chemnitz offers a fantastic atmosphere with great food and freshly brewed beer. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make it a perfect spot to relax with friends or family. Highly recommend trying their seasonal beers and hearty German dishes. A must-visit for beer enthusiasts! My personal favourite is Dunkel Beer and Fassbrau Erdbeere in non alcoholic category.

Stopped by for a bier and some goulash soup. Both were good.

I always enjoy eating here at the Turmbrauhaus. A nice selection of dishes and drinks, highlighting of course the home-brewed beer and home-made schnapps. The operation is always difficult, but the overall package rounds off the experience very well. See you next Haxen Monday.

Since it was very crowded, it was also quite loud. But the food was served quickly and was really tasty. It's a shame that the portion (for me) could have been a little larger (because it was so tasty). I was already full beforehand.

We went for lunch yesterday, unfortunately the Jägerschnitzel from the lunch menu was not recommended. I had stomach cramps all night and vomited several times. It's a shame, something like that shouldn't happen in a professional restaurant.

We ate here last night... service was friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the whole thing had the character of mass processing. The food came really quickly so I was wondering how it was prepared. The knuckle was ok, it filled you up, but the taste was a bit bland. Schnitzel with fries were dry, some of the fries were hard, everything with a slight aftertaste of old frying fat. The crowning glory was the beer goulash, 7 small cubes of meat with a minimal dollop of sauce so that the three dumplings had to be eaten almost dry... Completely carelessly prepared, not even a small lettuce leaf or something similar. For the price, it's a disgrace. For my part, I can't understand why this restaurant is so busy... For that money, I'll go somewhere else to eat somewhere where it tastes good and is cooked with love. Oh well, the beer was delicious.

Been there for the first time and a beautiful and historical atmosphere. The food was nice and hearty and tasted very good. We also had very good beer and were offered a large selection. I can only recommend it

Just downgraded service. Honestly, you sit there, they look at you and don't make a move. Three of them chatting about how busy they are, but bloody hell - that's really poor.

Rustic, cozy atmosphere, delicious food and very friendly staff - what more could you want. All the oak wood and the two copper brewing kettles create an atmosphere, and there is a surprising amount of space. The goulash - a poem; and "Mom's Macaroni" taste really original, just like Mom's! However, reservations are recommended, otherwise it can be difficult to find a seat (although even then the waiters will do everything they can). On some evenings there is even a live program with comedy, crime dinners or music. The only drawback: When it's full, it's noisy (but that's not the fault of the waiters and staff). Overall, highly recommended!

We were in Chemnitz on business and asked the hotel about a restaurant for home-style cooking. The Turm-Brauhaus was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. The service was first class, the atmosphere was absolutely fitting for a brewery, and the cordon bleu was perfectly prepared. The fries were also excellent. The only small point of criticism: the salad garnish on the plate could be a little more appealing. Otherwise it was a wonderful evening with delicious food, excellent beer and very friendly service. Thank you for that!

We were at the Turm-Brauhaus for a family reunion. Really nice, “quaint” cozy inn. Delicious food. And although everything was fully occupied and there were two large reservations, companies, etc. the adjoining rooms were fully booked, the service staff was on their toes. Food came very quickly. Even though everyone ordered one at a time. Highly recommended. Really great...

Beautiful location in the heart of Chemnitz. We were there for dinner on Friday evening (pre-ordered). Food and drinks were good. The service did its best, despite the “house being full”. Polite, friendly and not averse to a joke or two.

The sauerkraut for the roast pork was from a can, only made lukewarm and really sour. The sauce and dumplings were too salty. The waiter's succinct answer was that he would pass it on to the kitchen. No apology, no regrets, nothing. Last but not least the bill, one large beer too many on the bill, almost 5 €. The waiter said I drank it. The beer was included with the roast pork. Again, no excuse. There is still a lot of room for improvement in the service and a lot needs to be done in the kitchen too.

It's becoming more and more customer-unfriendly. The TBH is officially open until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, but if you arrive at 11:45 p.m., after a long wait you will immediately be informed that there is only a maximum of one beer left. It is becoming more and more customer-unfriendly. Nobody at TBH should be surprised if guests migrate to the new “pub mile”.

We were there for dinner with a larger group. The order went quickly. The food was excellent and the portions were also sufficient. The price is now the same as everywhere else. The only negative point is that I forgot a drink, which is included on schnitzel day. Otherwise the service was fine and the brewery is recommended.

We just had a good meal, the seasoned meat was good, the bread was a bit old..., unfortunately the light beer had a strange aftertaste, not like usual, I'm here often.....

Delicious dishes at reasonable prices! The restaurant is usually very busy, which is why it often gets louder and the staff is stressed. All in all, everyone is friendly and the waiting times are not long. When the weather is nice, there is also a spacious terrace. Very small, carelessly presented and served portion for a hefty price (here: 1 small ladle of goulash + 3 dumpling slices thrown away - €17.50). Nothing to fill you up or even enjoy... Tasty but certainly.

We took a tour with a larger group and everything was really great. Super nice and courteous staff. The food was super tasty and I can only recommend it. What I can personally recommend is the beer liqueur, which was really tasty and the asparagus snaps were of course not to my taste but I tried them.

We were in a larger group and sat upstairs. It's very loud. The food was brought in several batches. I had the brawn, which was even available in a small portion. This was great in terms of taste and so were the fried potatoes. The ribs are a huge portion!

We were very satisfied. The food was tasty and the beer was excellent. The offer was completely sufficient, there is something for everyone.

We took a little break there. The snack with the homemade Obazda was really tasty, just 1-2 more slices of bread would be excellent. There is, fortunately (!), a lot of Obazda. There was also a strawberry shandy, which was refreshing. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The ambience is currently somewhat disturbed by the construction work, but is still nice.

OK for in between! It's nice to sit outside and have something to eat and drink. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio has slipped somewhat and now means impressive prices that don't quite correspond to the performance.
