You can't print, you can't scan, you can't fax... This is supposed to be a conference hotel?

The hotel is very centrally located, the rooms are very nice, and also a good breakfast.

Rooms were quite decent, great views of the city. There are also restaurants in the surrounding area.

The rooms are rather spartan. There is a tub in the toilet for showering, which takes up a lot of space. Hardly anyone bathes in a hotel. The hotel bar is embarrassing. No cocktails are offered, not even the standard ones. Beer and wine and a few spirits. We were very disappointed.

Very centrally located... nice view over the city

We booked the room through booking. com reserved. There was no indication of a non-renovated room. When we entered the room we were honestly shocked. The carpet was totally stained. The decor is depressing and that can't be compensated for by the small window in the room. No matter where we looked, it was just very dirty and the toilet smelled strongly of urine. We've been to a lot of hotels but that's not possible. Since we didn't want to stay, we immediately went back to reception and insisted on a cancellation. That wasn't a problem either. It seemed like they knew the problem. First the lady at the reception wanted to sell us an upgrade because we had booked an old, unrenovated room. But we didn't feel like it anymore. A tip to management unrenovated does not mean dirty. We then found another hotel room a few meters away and were very happy there. The price was the same only the hotel was better.

Rooms, hallways and lobby need to be renovated, look like they were in the 90s. Mattress sagging. The location is very central, so there is traffic noise. Nice view at breakfast.

I'll say it straight away: the look from the 14th floor was great, the mattress was a disaster. The hotel was apparently well occupied - at least there was no free parking space in the hotel's own space - the room was correspondingly expensive. The location is really very central and there are plenty of parking garages nearby. Breakfast was very good and the shower was warm :-)

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The price for accommodation and parking had to be paid upon arrival. We had paid for a parking space for our car. On the last day we couldn't find a parking space in front of the hotel, it was completely overcrowded. When asked, the woman at reception said she would give us our parking fee back and we should park in the parking garage. Room cleaning only takes place if the guest expressly requests it. Statement from a hotel employee "It's because of the environment".

We were on the 21st floor, the room was warm, there was no air conditioning. We opened the window so there was a lot of noise at night. We were in town for work. The upholstery is dirty and stained, it needs to be cleaned.

Not the best experience. I stayed here for 4 nights as part of a business trip. The hotel is well located and the breakfast is fine. However, the Wi-Fi is a disaster, as several guests with similar problems told me. Unfortunately, it was not possible to work. I also needed an iron for my shirts. However, this was only available for a deposit of 20€, which could only be paid in cash without any receipt. Very dubious. Both of these things are actually very inappropriate if you present yourself as a congress hotel for business trips and conferences. The worst thing, however, was that the wind in the corridor whistled so loudly at night that it was difficult to sleep. I am attaching a video to give you a feel for the volume.

We booked the hotel at short notice because we spontaneously needed somewhere to stay for the night. Everything worked great and the staff was friendly. However, when we got into the rooms, we were very disappointed. It was a very, very old-fashioned room, without air conditioning, kettle, minibar or anything else. No problem for the one night we stayed. However, the room we had could not be seen in a single picture online anywhere. Only photos of the most beautiful rooms were posted online. Which is exactly what we expected. Very disappointing.

Rooms were okay, the view was also nice but the windows were much too small. The service was top. I had forgotten my charging cable and it was handed over and sent to me.

The hotel is located right in the center, from here you can easily reach the city on foot. We booked a room on the upper floor. This was renovated and was therefore okay. The view over Chemnitz is very beautiful. The breakfast was rich and tasty. The staff in the restaurant is very friendly and accommodating. Thank you.

I like the hotel very much because I had the pleasure of spending two nights here on the 14th floor, where the panorama of the city is really beautiful, but the view from the 26th floor, where there is a restaurant, is even better. Overall, I am very satisfied, but the only minor drawback is the lack of air conditioning. in the rooms, at least it wasn't in the ones where I spent the night, I don't know what it's like in the others, because when it's 30° outside, it's really very warm in the rooms and you would like to rest in a bit of cooler air when the temperatures are as high as today. The rest I think is that it is okay

First the good It was clean, the ladies at the reception and the staff in the breakfast room were very friendly, and the breakfast itself was great! The location right in the center. BUT It was always very warm in the rooms. You could open the window, but despite being on the 17th floor you could hear everything downstairs and this weekend there was always a stage with sometimes questionable music until 11 p.m. We didn't even see a maid for 3 nights! The hotel has a really nice bar, but not geared towards guests. On the first evening we got a beer, the next day it opened at 5 p.m. but there was no waiter and a day later it didn't open at all despite EM. When you asked on the first evening, you couldn't find a remote control. All in all, medium!

Rooms are clean, value for money absolutely okay, service staff was very friendly.

The rooms are worn out. Carpet in the room was very stained and dirty, the headboard of the bed was greasy and the mattresses were very soft. On Sundays there was no possibility to buy water or anything similar in the area. There was nothing in the hotel either. When we asked again, we were offered a bottle of water for €5.50. The parking space costs €15 and cannot be reserved. Booking a hotel via online booking portals is worth it. The hotel did not offer cheaper rooms when asked by telephone. The center is easy to reach on foot.

That's fine, but there were only towels for 2 people for 1. We didn't get the room we booked but a cheaper one.

The rooms are clean, but a bit old. The bed is very hard.The breakfast and service are above average. The location is GREAT and so is the view. The internet is a bit slow.

0 tolerance for rebooking issues. The room and especially the garbage cans in it were not cleaned for 3 days, which was very unpleasant with food that was in the garbage. Next time I visit a business I will definitely choose an alternative.

Absolutely fine for an overnight stay at this price. My room was renovated and clean, but the hotel does not offer any extras. Contrary to what is stated on the booking platform, fitness and sauna are not available. Not suitable for business trips if you rely on working WiFi. There is a nice view.

The breakfast on the 28th floor was brilliant and delicious. I was only 1 night. There was no socket near the bed. A little old but ok. What was absolutely negative was the surroundings around the entrance area. It hasn't been cleaned here for a long time. Autumn leaves were scattered everywhere.

Nice hotel with rooms between the 11th and 25th floors with beautiful views over the city

Rooms ok, staff friendly, very bad WiFi, unsuitable for working in the room, sockets in the room felt like they weren't available and in unusable places, breakfast was simple, only a coffee machine, queuing was inevitable

We stayed in the hotel with a group of almost 100 people. The service debacle started when we checked in. The hotel charged ten euros additional costs if you wanted to move into the room before 3 p.m. This was independent of whether the room was already finished or not yet finished. The rooms were very small. The wet area in particular was kept very small. The windows in the rooms are not particularly large but give a nice view over the city. Breakfast was a buffet and offered a good selection. Our group could hardly keep up with the service in the bar area. In addition, the prices at the bar were unreasonably high. Parking in the parking lot in front of the hotel is significantly more expensive at €15 per day than in other parking options in the immediate vicinity. All in all, I can say that over the three days that we were guests at the hotel, we cannot recommend this house.

The hotel has advantages and disadvantages! The location in the middle of the city is great! I had a room with an overhead view that was great too! Unfortunately, the parking lot in front of the hotel was overcrowded, so I had to move to another parking garage. The new operator has apparently changed the rules and you can only check in from 3:00 p.m.! If you want to check in earlier, you have to pay extra per person. Now for the Hut Festival there were more than 100 people waiting to check in at 3pm and there was a long queue to the exit and there was a long wait! The mood of the guests was tense. Nevertheless, the staff at the counter remained very friendly and helpful! My room was old and worn. The hotel's WiFi didn't work on my iPhone and the phone couldn't connect to the network. A socket by the bed was broken and I couldn't charge my phone there. The other sockets worked. The rooms were very clean and there were enough fresh towels! The staff at the reception and also the cleaning staff were very friendly and tried everything to make the stay as nice as possible!

So, very well centrally located. Everything is close by and the staff helps wherever possible. Book again? Naturally!

The hotel is centrally located in the middle of the city center. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel is very well equipped, chic and clean. Tip: When booking, ask for a room on a higher floor. We were on the 22nd floor and had a fantastic view of the entire city. The breakfast room is located at the top of the 26th floor and offers a view in all directions. The breakfast is delicious and extensive. We really enjoyed our stay and can fully recommend this hotel. We will come here again on our next visit to Chemnitz. Thank you for the lovely days!

No sockets to plug your phone in. Only by the door and the tv, so you can’t charge your phone in bed. Wifi is the worst i’ve ever seen. Goes of and on and when it works it’s terrible

If you love the charm of the 1990s, this is the place for you. Room is in great need of renovation. Everything is pretty shabby and it's very noisy. However, the breakfast was very commendable, from the 29th floor, where the breakfast room is, you have a beautiful view over Chemnitz.

I had a solo stay there. The price for the room is quite reasonable. The only thing I didn’t like was that there was no stable internet connection to make a whatsapp call. Everything else was to my liking.

I was booked as a pianist, so I have a B2B background for my overnight stay. In my opinion the best address in Chemnitz! The rooms are extremely clean, the staff is very friendly, a great view and the breakfast is first class! You shouldn't be confused by the 3 stars. In my opinion it deserves more! Big praise to the manager Mr. Günther and the bar people. It was a pleasure for me!

Location is great, in the middle of the city. Unfortunately, the rooms are very narrow and outdated; they should be modernized. Breakfast in the Panorama Restaurant, on the other hand, is great, tasty, lots of choice, everything is fresh and is constantly replenished. Restaurant employees were all super friendly, in contrast to the reception, when checking in you had the feeling that you were disturbing the gentleman with something. Listless, unmotivated service according to the rules.

I stayed in a single room. The room has even a sofa. Nice view. Really great value of money spent per night (about 53€) However, it was too warm during that night and I needed to open the window a little. The noises from clubs and pubs around there then got inside the room. Bed was too soft.

The hotel has a great location. Right in the city center. Why parking is so expensive, I have no idea. But it's cheaper to go to the parking garage next to it. You have 30 minutes to load and unload your car with suitcases. But the breakfast on the 22nd floor is amazing. Nice staff and there's a little bit of everything there. It's constantly being replenished. Simply delicious. There is also a second coffee machine at peak times. The rooms are getting old. But okay. You can also make a few compromises for the location.

Ceremony in Chemnitz Looking for a good, central and cheap overnight stay, we chose the Congress Hotel Chemnitz. We were on the 11th floor with a good view. For the sake of "sustainability" you have to request room service. If you stay for 2 nights, it's no problem to forego the service. The location is right in the city and you can reach everything by public transport. The breakfast offered is rich and there is something for every taste. What we have to complain about are the extremely high parking fees. But that's not a problem, as there are cheap alternatives in the form of parking garages. Unload your suitcases in front of the hotel and park your vehicle in the nearby parking garage. (less than 10 minutes walk) All in all we have to say that this hotel is recommended. Reasons: - It couldn't be more central in the city - City Hall next door - Transport connections - public transportation - Plenty of restaurants in the area

An aging house, with friendly staff and good proximity to the center.

Tom Pauls in the small hall is a delight for all lovers of the Saxon dialect.

When you check in you had to pay the entire amount and at the same time you were told that the cash register wasn't working and there was no invoice for the payment because there were problems with the tax office. In the room, the headboard falls apart on its own, so lots of crumbs accumulate in the bed. Beds extremely narrow, below standard. In general it borders on unreasonable.

The hotel has a great location. The price including breakfast was okay. But the room was already getting old. And only passive ventilation in the bathroom and no air conditioning in the room.

Very nice and friendly staff, breakfast room with a great selection and a great view. It's a shame that after events you have to stand in front of a closed bar and only have a small selection of drinks available for purchase. Unfortunately, even the water offered was all over 11 p.m., which we didn't like. Otherwise highly recommended. Great view (see photos)

Unfriendly staff at the reception (especially on the phone) you get an invoice emailed as a copy and not an original invoice. And is then treated unkindly and simply hung up on you. I will never stay there again!!!

Centrally located. Good location and great view over the city. The breakfast, on the 26th floor with a great view, is rich and the staff are very attentive and friendly! Here you feel like you are in a 5 star hotel. Some rooms are/are already being modernized. Some still need this. My bed was a bit very soft or sagging, at least there were two pillows. The standard room is not too big, but it's fine for 1-2 days. Unfortunately there was no socket near the bed! The location is optimal. Right in the city center and right next to the town hall. Unfortunately 1 point deducted for the completely exorbitant parking costs!!!

The rooms on the 11th floor are a disgrace - dirt and liquid stains everywhere (on the wall, carpet, bed frame), musty smell, hairdryer broken.....

Unfortunately the bar is closed and the sauna no longer exists either, perhaps soon under the new operator. Dorint has been gone since January 1, 24. Luckily the friendly staff is still there.

Not recommended! Everything is very old-fashioned. Staff behaves as if it were a 5 star VIP hotel. Parking in front of the door, yes. But the area is not fenced off and every pedestrian who comes by walks through the parking lot. Then 15 euros for parking... Sorry, but even in Berlin I can get a reasonable, secure parking space. Breakfast buffet was ok. But nothing special. Definitely not worth 25 euros per day. The highlight of this hotel are the bathrooms, which seem to have been built for anorexic models or small children. Oh and don't forget the great wind noises at night, at least when you sleep on the 22nd floor.

The room was dirty, the scrambled eggs were cold and not tasty and the coffee was like sausage.

We stayed at the Congress Hotel for two nights, there are certainly better accommodations and certainly much worse ones. Overall it was ok, but there were also flaws. First things first, I booked through Booking. Check in was ok but I was annoyed before I got in the room. I had to pay the hotel parking space for two nights (€30) in advance. I didn't really want that, I preferred it when I left. But unfortunately that didn't work. With my health a bit weak, I thought about what if we leave after just one night? Then I would have given away a room for one night and the parking space. But ok, that's how it should be. The room, on the whole, fits. One headboard of the bed was already in very bad condition (see photo). The crumbs then found themselves on the pillow and on the sweater after leaning against it. An open electrical cable above the light strip in the living room is far more dangerous and cannot be excused. Funny that something like this can happen unnoticed. The bathroom is ok, narrow and had a bathtub. There is nothing to criticize about the cleanliness of the room, but it should go without saying. To get out of the parking lot there is a piece of fluttering paper. It's just a matter of luck if the code is read when there is little wind. I have seen this much more effective elsewhere. A little tip, you can also do this with the plastic card for the room door. On the second evening I was lucky, the expensive parking lot, which was paid in advance, was overcrowded. The cars were standing like crazy, regardless of whether there was space or parking space. So I did it too. I think that if I paid dearly for the place, then I should have a place. The service staff in the hallways were very friendly and spoke German. Breakfast on the 26th floor; Yes it was good. No more and no less. You shouldn't expect a big culinary delight. No salmon and no ham, but the usual: egg, sausage, cheese - just like everywhere else. Overall and finally, I would book there again.

We booked a room here very spontaneously because of a concert. The room was a bit old, but tidy and clean. The service on site was very nice and friendly. We felt we were in good hands here. A big thank you for that. Parking is available in front of the hotel for 15 euros per night. A good, filling breakfast is available for 18 euros per person on the 26th floor with a great view of the city. We were pleasantly surprised that there was direct access to the adjacent town hall where the concert took place. So you could get directly from the room to the concert hall. We thought that was really great. All in all, we really enjoyed it and would love to come back!

Waren hier in Chemnitz im Konzert, dafür ist das Hotel geeignet wie kein anderes, gleich neben der Stadthalle. Alles zu Fuß erreichbar, Öffis gibt's auch. Hatten eine Suite, also 2 komplette Zimmer, Minibar zum Leerräumen, 2 Bäder, 2x TV ... Parkplatz ist klein, aber es sind jede Menge Parkhäuser hier, also kein Problem. Personal super freundlich

Wir waren hier zum Frühstück eingeladen. Es war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Es gab alles was das Herz oder besser der Hunger begehrte. Das Restaurant befindet sich im 26. Stockwerk, also hat man dabei auch noch einen tollen Ausblick über Chemnitz.

Alles ok. Außer dass die Hotelbar bisher jedesmal, wenn wir dort übernachten, geschlossen war.

Sieht geschlossen aus, würde vielleicht ein gratis Zimmer nehmen um mich zu vergewissern

Poesie in Beton. Wir waren auf einer unrenovierten Etage untergebracht. Rezeption erschien überfordert. Das Zimmer steril und auch das Bad nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Dann noch eine Betonstufe mit Stahlkante zum Bad, grau nicht vom Boden zu unterscheiden. Weiss man dann, wenn der Schmerz am Zeh nachlässt. Wirklich POSITIV: Das Frühstück mit Panoramablick. Reichhaltiges Angebot und das Personal superfreundlich und aufmerksam.

Imposantes Gebäude = 26 Stockwerke. Nettes Personal. Prima Frühstück.

Minimalistisches Zimmer mit primitiver Einrichtung, für ein 3 Sterne Haus absolut überteuert, Bar Samstags geschlossen, Personal an Rezeption wirkt überfordert, Frühstücks Buffet 40 min vor Schluss leer ... Parkplätze vor dem Haus sind mit 15 € pro Nacht zu teuer. Der Clou am nächste Morgen haben Tauben massiv ihre Fäkalien auf mein Auto hinterlassen, Fazit ... nie wieder !!!

Der,Standort ist hervorragend. Wir hatten auch einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel, natürlich kostenpflichtig, aber nicht vorher buchbar.Unser Zimmer lag im 20.Stock, Blick einfach toll. Das Zimmer und das Bad an sich waren relativ klein und die Ausstattung einfach. Für unser Anliegen ( Besuch bei Freunden, nur Übernachtung) passte dies gut. Am ersten Tag waren wir erst gegen 10 Uhr beim Frühstück, da war alles gut. Es gab ein gutes Angebot. Heute waren wir gegen 9 Uhr beim Frühstück und dies war leider sehr unentspannt. Nur mit Mühe fanden wir zwei Plätze, am Bufett Gedränge, der Service kam nicht hinterher. Die Serviceleute haben sich jedoch echt bemüht, waren freundlich und schnell, aber zu wenige .

Die Dusche hat nicht funktioniert!!! Service war ok. Das Hotel ist gut anzufahren und nicht zuübersehen.

In die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer sind unterschiedlich gut modernisiert, dafür punktet der sehr zentrale Standort.

Super, dass nun auch vegane Frühstücksvarianten angeboten werden. Sogar vegane Muffins auf dem Frühstücksbuffet - so lecker! Die gebuchte Suite hat uns leider nicht begeistert. Zu eng. Das waren einfach zwei Zimmer, die zu einem gemacht wurden. Optisch aber schön und sauber. Würden wir nichr mehr nehmen. Ist den höheren Preis unserer Meinung nach nicht wert. Das ist aber Ansichtssache.

Ein gutes Hotel in wunderbar zentraler Lage mit eigenem Parkplatz am Haus, kostengünstigere Parkmöglichkeiten im daneben liegenden Parkhaus oder der Tiefgarage. Meine Suite, bestehend aus Wohn- und Schlafzimmer mit zwei Bädern hatte eine tolle Aussicht auf die Innenstadt „Nischel“-seite. Schade, dass die Bar und das Panoramarestaurant geschlossen waren. Ansprechendes Frühstücksbuffet, ein zweiter Kaffeeautomat wäre wünschenswert. Insgesamt war ich sehr zufrieden und komme gerne wieder.

Waren zu einer Firmenfeier dort. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein und haben getrennte Betten bei den Doppelzimmern. Steckdosen waren sehr rar. Parkplätze gibt es direkt am Hotel, aber auch rundherum in der Nähe (alles Gebührenpflichtig). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind genug vorhanden. Der Service und das Essen waren sehr gut! Top Mitarbeiter! Die Aussicht ist in den oberen Etagen wunderbar.
