Tschungking Hotpot 重庆火锅 in München

Don't go there! The service is terrible. Apple Pay doesn't work with credit cards, and the lady boss insisted we pay in RMB, which was 1 RMB higher than normal. While we were eating, we saw other customers complain about the food being smelly, but the waiter pretended not to smell it, insisting it was fine and saying it was common. The last time I went, I saw the lady boss secretly exchanging currency with a Chinese customer. Finger weg!!! Die Service ist Katastrophe, das POS funktioniert weder mit ec Karte noch Apple Pay. Die Kellnerin hat uns verlangen mit CNY zu bezahlen, und ihr Wechselkurs ist deutlich höher als normal!! Das ist absolut Abzock/Betrug. Ich habe gesehen ein Kunde war unzufrieden mit dem Essen weil das Essen anscheinend schon verderbt war, und hat gefordert der Mitarbeiter vom Restaurant selber zu riechen, leider wollte er nicht eingestehen und sagt das Essen sollte so schrecklich schmecken. Wir hatten während Abendessen gesehen dass die Besitzerin mit Chinesen Geld (Euro zu CNY) privat gewechselt, was total illegal ist. Ja kein Wunder ihr habt kaum Kunden hier sitzt. Ich würde niemals kommen und alle Leute sagen ihr seid schlecht.

It was very quiet, the staff was quick, super friendly, and explained everything to us beginners. We were very satisfied with the taste, and even more so with the selection. You don't need much to feel full. They even charged my phone upon request. The service was super friendly, and we can't imagine why it has so few stars. The best hotpot restaurant in Munich! We've been to all the restaurants now and Chungking is definitely the best! Yes, the ambience isn't really cozy or nice, but the food definitely beats the other restaurants. The owners are nice and we usually order the ingredients at Hotpot via tablet. Delivery is quick and the ingredients are top. What's great is that there are vegetables and other side dishes at the buffet and that you can also order two types of beef for free thanks to all you can eat. We know Hotpot from the Haidilao Restaurant in China and the Tschungking comes closest to it in Munich. There is also a bar with various spices to create dip bowls.

Excellent selection at the buffet, good taste, and the soups are also great. Had a very pleasant conversation with the owner. We live right next door and will be coming often.

There's a wide selection of products that can be combined with various delicious sauces. However, the restaurant is only for those who want to create their own dishes and be creative. But that's a lot of fun!

An insider tip, as it's not as crowded as other hotpot restaurants. Soup pots are built into the table (unlike at other hotpot restaurants where they put something extra on the table). The whole thing is all-you-can-eat. Meat is ordered via a tablet, and the rest, like vegetables, tofu, or seafood, can be picked up from the buffet. This way, you can get exactly the amount you want and don't always get small portions like at other well-known hotpot restaurants. The buffet also has amazing kimchi, and you can mix your own sauces. I really liked the fermented tofu-based sauce. At the table, someone from our group also mentioned that vegetarians would definitely get their money's worth here. There were lots of mushrooms, vegetables, and a very tasty fried tofu. Unfortunately, I don't remember whether they also had a vegetarian broth. The staff was very nice. They took good care of us and frequently checked in to see if we were having any problems. For example, there's something very authentic, like something with duck blood. When we asked, they explained what it was. Apparently, the Chinese consider it very healthy. We didn't like it. But at least there are things like that for those who like that sort of thing 😂 We ended up paying with a card. The price is perfectly reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. We'll be happy to come back!

Von Anfang bis Ende ein fabelhaftes Erlebnis! Das "All You Can Eat" HotPot-Angebot war einfach hervorragend und hat uns geschmacklich fast umgehauen – wirklich der beste HotPot, den ich in München genießen durfte. Jede Zutat war einzigartig und köstlich. Die Mitarbeiter waren unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, was die ganze Erfahrung noch angenehmer machte. Und dann das Tiramisu zum Abschluss – einfach himmlisch! Es hat das ohnehin schon tolle Essen perfekt abgerundet. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, wiederzukommen.

Nicht das stylischste Hotpot-Restaurant, dafür aber sehr authentisch. Wir waren zuerst einmal sehr irritiert davon, wie leer das Lokal für einen Freitagabend war, das hat sich dann aber doch als Vorteil herausgestellt, weil wir freie Bahn am Buffet hatten. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Es gab eine gute Auswahl von verschiedenen Fleisch-, Fisch- und Meeresfrüchte-Sorten. Diese waren im All-You-Can-Eat-Preis inbegriffen, man hätte sich weitere Spezialitäten noch gegen Aufpreis dazu bestellen können. Für uns war das abwechslungsreiche Buffet jedoch völlig ausreichend! Am Buffet kann man sich selbst bedienen - das kann man sehen wie man will, wir fanden das aber eigentlich ganz gut so. Die Zutaten waren frisch und die bestellten Brühen waren lecker. Besonders cool: man konnte sich die Dips aus verschieden Zutaten selbst zusammenstellen. Die freundliche Bedienung hat uns auch einen kleinen Crashkurs gegeben, welche Zutaten besonders leckere Soßen ergeben. Insgesamt war das Preisleistungsverhältnis ausgewogen. Allen am Tisch hat es gut geschmeckt und jeder ist mehr als satt geworden. Wer ein authentisches Hotpot-Erlebnis sucht, bei dem das Essen im Fokus steht, ist hier genau richtig. Für ein gediegenes Dinner in schickem Ambiente würde ich ein anderes Restaurant wählen.

Ich hatte ein wunderbares Erlebnis bei Tschungking! Vom Moment des Betretens wurde ich herzlich empfangen und der Service war hervorragend. Die Atmosphäre war einladend, mit gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten und einer einladenden Stimmung. Das Highlight des Abends war das Essen selbst - die Gerichte waren köstlich zubereitet. Jeder Bissen war ein Geschmackserlebnis, und die Auswahl an Speisen war beeindruckend. Das Personal war aufmerksam und immer bereit, Fragen zu beantworten oder Empfehlungen zu geben. Dieses Restaurant ist definitiv ein Muss für alle, die hervorragendes Essen in einer charmanten Umgebung schätzen. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

I have visited several hot pot places in Germany and I have to give this place a thumbs up! It is all you can eat buffet style, and you pay a fair price (cheaper during weekdays, drinks not included) to get 3 kind of meats, fresh veggies and seafood selections, what I didn’t expect is that the enoki mushrooms are also included in the all you can eat buffet! The staff and the owner from this place is beyond friendly and welcoming! I will definitely come back again!

There are plenty of Asian restaurants in town, yet I drive at least 1-2 a week across the city to pick up my lunch only here. Excellent freshly cooked food, affordable prices, great service, friendly staff and owner, what else do I need as a client? Absolutely nothing more. Highly recommend

Das war das Schlechteste HotPot was ich je in meinem Leben gegessen habe !!! Schlechte Qualität des Fleisches, das Buffett eine einzige Katastrophe und sehr unsauber . Nicht zu empfehlen

Ich finde es total toll und eine neue Erfahrung, da wir das jetzt zum ersten Mal hatten. Es wurde alles freundlich erklärt und gezeigt. Ich esse eigentlich gerne scharf, aber bei der scharfen Brühe musste ich mich erstmal kurz dran gewöhnen und dann ging das. Die Auswahl an Gemüse und anderen Zutaten ist reichlich und völlig ausreichend.

Die Bedienung war super lieb aber das Essen war leider nicht frisch und manches hatte bereits Flecken(Schimmel?) Gute Erfahrung aber an der Hygiene beim Essen muss eindeutig noch gearbeitet werden

烤串的种类不多，但是味道很好。冒菜不能自选，但是味道比麻辣烫要好。人均25左右，值得尝试。

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Essen war sehr lecker nur ein bisschen teuer. Sie haben uns sogar am ende Wassermelonen geschenkt. Das ist ein extra Stern;) Ich gebe 8.2 von 10 Punkte :)

The broth was amazing! There were a lot of ingredients you could choose from the bar. You can make your own sauce. Overall, everything was very delicious. The service was also absolutely fantastic, the owners were very kind and patient! Would come back!

Wir waren hier zum Hot Pot und sind sehr zufrieden. Sehr freundlicher Service. Das rohe Fleisch konnte man frisch per Tablett bestellen (unbegrenzt) und der Rest wie Gemüse Fisch Beilagen und Soßen wurde am Buffet angeboten. Eine kleine Ecke mit Vor- und Nachspeise gibt es ebenfalls. Für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei und alles war sehr frisch! Kann ich jedem empfehlen der authentischen Hot pot essen möchte! Auch unserer 9 jährigen Tochter hat es geschmeckt. Preis Leistung stimmt hier. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Essen ist wunderbar, etwas begrenztes Angebot in Buffet (meistens Fleisch), leider sinkt man nachher den ganzen Abend.

Ich war bereits in mehreren HotPot Restaurants und Tschungking HotPot landet definitiv in meinen Top 3! Auch wenn der Preis von knapp 33€/p.P (Sonntags und Feiertags) nicht gerade günstig ist, rechtfertigt er die Qualität und Auswahl an Zutaten die das Restaurant bietet. Viel Frisches Gemüse, einige Tofu Varianten, frische Meeresfrüchte und frisch nachbestellbares Rinder- und Lammfleisch. Das Personal war sehr nett und super zuvorkommend, immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Allerdings habe ich zwei Verbesserungsvorschläge! 1. Würde ich mir mehr Auswahl beim inbegriffenen nachbestellbaren Fleisch wünschen. 2. Könnten die Brühen etwas mehr Geschmack vertragen. Ich bin wirklich empfindlich was Schärfe angeht, doch selbst ich habe die als "scharf" beschriebene Brühe als zu mild empfunden. Und die als "mild" angepriesene Brühe war leider etwas geschmacksarm. Dennoch würde ich das Restaurant jeder Zeit wieder besuchen! Danke für den schönen Abend!

Uns hat es gefreut so eine freundliche und ehrliche Bedienung zu haben. Das essen war auch sehr reichlich, lecker und wurde schnell serviert. Meine aus Asien kommende Frau war auch voll zu Frieden. Wir kommenden gerne wieder 😊

We went there to experience an “All you can eat” hotpot! We indeed ate a lot. Most things to put into the pot were very tasteful, however we were not convinced by everything. Most of the staff members were very friendly. We are glad that we had this nice experience. 😀

We visited on our last night in Munich and as Asian, we were so looking forward to soup stuff especially hotpot in a super chilly night. In our opinion, it’s not worth the euro30 charge per person and this price is excluding beverage. The meat and seafood were the frozen type and the vegetables looked like they were there for days. Some simple hotpot items like lotus roots are available at extra charge. Nevertheless, I give compliment for the service rendered…. Very attentive and sincere attitude. If you are not picky but just want Chinese hot soup, you may give this place a try.

Maybe they serve authentic chinese flavors but food quality is not worth the price. No english speaking staff. No more all- you-can-eat menu.
