Das Essen war durchweg köstlich. Die Atmosphäre war sehr freundlich. Die Köchin war eine sehr fleißige und nette Dame.

Eine Mischung aus guten und durchschnittlichen Gerichten. Die Nudeln im Sojasaucengericht waren beispielsweise pur sehr lecker, die Sauce selbst aber etwas fad. Am besten haben mir die Grillgerichte an kleinen Spießen gefallen. Achten Sie bei der Bestellung darauf, dass Sie nicht zu viel bestellen, da das Personal unsere Bestellung mit der eines anderen Tisches verwechselt hat.

Was für ein Juwel! Authentisches chinesisches BBQ in jeder Hinsicht: Geschmack, Service, Ambiente – einfach alles. Die Bedienung ist überaus freundlich, und wir haben versucht, so viel wie möglich zu bestellen, weil wir einfach nicht aufhören konnten. Alles war ein Traum. Dieses Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert. 10/10

Ein köstliches chinesisches Restaurant. Das Essen ist hervorragend und der Service sehr freundlich. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher.

Die Hygiene war mangelhaft; das Restaurant war unglaublich dreckig. Die Wartezeit war lang, und das Essen war furchtbar – extrem fettig und ungenießbar. Ich verstehe nicht, woher die positiven Bewertungen kommen; es ist doch offensichtlich, dass chinesisches Essen in Deutschland wirklich schlecht ist. Dass so ein Laden über vier Sterne hat … ist das nicht Betrug? Außerdem akzeptieren sie keine Kreditkarten, nur WeChat Pay, Alipay oder Bargeld. Auf Nachfrage behaupteten sie, kein Kartenlesegerät zu haben … Ich verstehe ja, dass manche Restaurants Bargeld wollen, um Steuern zu sparen, aber Kreditkarten komplett abzulehnen, ist lächerlich. Und es gab beim Bestellen absolut keinen Hinweis darauf, dass Kreditkarten nicht akzeptiert werden.

Ich liebe diesen Ort und das Personal. Seit ich dieses Juwel entdeckt habe, esse ich dort mindestens einmal im Monat.

Als ich die Küche sah, wurde mir übel. So etwas hatte ich noch nie gesehen. Ich habe sogar eine Maus in der Küche herumlaufen sehen. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass es den Leuten, die dort essen, nicht um die Qualität des Essens geht, sondern nur darum, dass es billig ist und die Portionen groß sind. Tische schmutzig und fettig, unangenehmer Geruch im Restaurant . Nie wieder!

Das dreckigste Lokal, was ich jemals besucht habe. Ich konnte es nicht wirklich glauben, dass ein Laden in diesem Zustand in Deutschland öffnen darf. Das ganze Lokal war wie ein Lager. Alles sah chaotisch und schmuddelig aus. Wenn es nicht schon so spät gewesen wäre, wären wir sofort wieder gegangen. Nun zum Essen: die Nudeln waren leider überhaupt nicht lecker und authentisch. Wir haben das komplette Gericht kaum angerührt und mussten komplett bezahlen. Es wurde nicht gefragt, ob es einem geschmeckt hat. Eine Rechnung gibt es im übrigen aus nicht. Man bekommt eine Zahl in den Taschenrechner eingetippt. Lebensmittelüberkontrolleur? Finanzamt?

Wir waren gestern Abend dort essen, und die Bedienung war so ungeschickt, dass sie unsere Bestellungen verwechselt hat. Wir haben ewig gewartet und mussten schließlich auf einen Großteil unseres Essens verzichten, weil es schon so spät war. Wir haben dann beschlossen, es nicht mehr zu essen, aber das Essen war superlecker, besonders die Teigtaschen – die waren echt authentisch! Die Besitzerin ist total lieb, eine Chinesin aus Dongbei, und sie ist so lustig und herzlich. Dank ihr habe ich meinen Ärger komplett vergessen, es liegt also nicht immer am Essen. Der Laden ist zwar winzig, aber ich kann ihn auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, um die Teigtaschen zu essen. Die Chilisauce kann ich wärmstens empfehlen, sie wird mit Sesam zubereitet und ist superlecker. Ich würde empfehlen, nicht so viel Öl zum Gemüse zu geben, da es darin schwammen, haha. Aber alles in allem war ich begeistert!

Wow! Was soll ich sagen?! Das Essen war einfach unglaublich! Es ist wohl nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis der Laden immer voll ist. Ein echter Geheimtipp, der nur darauf wartet, entdeckt zu werden! Wenn ich einen Verbesserungsvorschlag hätte, dann wäre es wohl das Englische. Ansonsten gab es absolut keine Probleme, das zu bekommen, was man wollte.

Kleines verstecktes chinesisches Restaurant in nicht gerade der schönsten Gegend von Frankfurt. Aber das Essen ist der Hammer! Sehr leckere und authentische chinesische Küche mit super fairen Preisen. Hausgemachte Dumplings in allen Formen und Größen, frische Spieße vom Grill und hausgemachte Nudeln mit Fleisch und intensiven leckeren Soßen. Sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service von der Chefin persönlich und alles geht super schnell. Definitiv ein Geheimtipp in Frankfurt! Wir hatten zu zweit quasi die halbe Karte bestellt und trotzdem nur Info 60€ bezahlt. Ich komme gerne wieder! :)

Wer wirklich authentisch chinesische Küche in Frankfurt möchte, ist hier genau richtig! Unscheinbar von außen aber Essen und Service sind top! Die nette Dame spricht zwar nicht das beste deutsch oder englisch, aber Wir haben uns trotzdem verstanden und sie ist sehr herzlich. Die Preise sind bei den Portionen in der heutigen Zeit auch unschlagbar! Hier komm ich immer wieder gerne her. ACHTUNG: Nur Barzahlung möglich!

War ganz okay. Die Chefin gibt sich Mühe! Die chinesische Familie nebendran hat nicht mal aufgegessen. Das schlimmste war eine Maus die aus der Kühlschrankritze rausgeschaut hat, da war's bei mir leider auch vorbei.

Das Essen ist wirklich gut, ich würde 4,5 Sterne geben. Die Chefin ist sehr freundlich und dynamisch, es macht Spaß, sich mit ihr zu unterhalten. Die Preise sind fair. Das Restaurant ist klein, vielleicht sollte man samstagabends nicht hingehen, da es dann wahrscheinlich voll ist. Es hat eine gemütliche und gesellige Atmosphäre.

WOW ich bin beeindruckt und freue mich sehr diese kleine Perle gefunden zu haben. Das essen ist eine richtige Geschmacksexplosion, Soul Food und wahrlich ein Geheimtipp. Die Preis sind von vorgestern, als wenn die Zeit stehen geblieben ist. Das Ambiente untermauert dies und man fühlt sich hier rundum wohl und umsorgt. Ich komme gerne immer wieder.

I came here after seeing many recommendations in travel guides, and even planned to take my parents here if they ever visited Europe. However, when I finally arrived, the prices were much higher than in the Google photos, which is understandable given inflation. The lamb skewers weren't fresh and had a sour taste, but the other dishes were pretty good, and the chili sauce was nice. But after we finished eating, they told me they only accepted cash, WeChat Pay, or Alipay transfers, not credit cards. I didn't have any cash, and my WeChat Wallet wasn't activated, so I had to transfer money to one of the employees via bank transfer. They didn't receive the money, which was very awkward. I added them on WeChat to ask if they received the money, but no one has replied… PS: The bank has confirmed the transfer was successful, but they still won't tell me if they received the money… All of that is fine, but the owner's reason was that she doesn't speak German and doesn't know how to handle bank cards. I felt this was unnecessary. I've been abroad for so many years and I know perfectly well that restaurants only accept cash to reduce or even evade taxes—European taxes are high, after all… But there's no need to say I don't understand German or how to use a bank card… That's pointless… And it also disrupted my travel plans… In short, I shouldn't have followed the trend and come to eat here in the first place.

The hygiene was terrible. It was the worst grilled lamb skewers I've ever had.

It was one of the most magical and beautiful moments you can have if you let yourself go. A very small and cute shop with delicious, authentic Chinese dishes. You're immediately transported to a new world and you might even make a few more Chinese friends.

This is literally the perfect restaurant.

This place is an absolute gem for dumpling lovers! The dumplings are all homemade - both the boiled and the pan-fried ones were perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. You can really taste the freshness in every bite. The homemade chili oil is outstanding and adds just the right amount of spice to complement the dumplings. On top of the great food, the owners and staff are super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very fair – excellent value for money. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious dumplings in a relaxed setting, this is the place to go. 5 stars without a doubt - highly recommended!

There are many negative reviews regarding hygiene, but in my opinion, this place specializes in Chinese street food, so comparing it to the hygiene standards of a typical restaurant is unreasonable. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and I could see her working hard despite the busy schedule, making for a comfortable dining experience. The street-style skewers here were fantastic, and the lamb skewers were truly delicious. The wonton noodle soup was clean and delicious, and while the naengmyeon (cold noodles) were quite sweet, they still had their own unique style, making them enjoyable. If you're Korean, I recommend ordering some skewers first and having a glass of soju the next day to soothe your hangover. Great!!!

The name lives up to its promise; the food was delicious and the prices were fair. I stumbled into the restaurant purely by chance and didn't regret it. An authentic atmosphere, a simple ordering system, and the food arrived very quickly. The vegetable jiaozi and spicy tofu were truly amazing, and the portions were perfect for sharing between friends. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd love to come back :)

Northeastern barbecue is still too delicious. To be honest, I am not used to eating barbecue with sour sauce. I prefer the original flavor, but it is already amazing in Germany.

An absolute insider tip in Frankfurt! We visited True Tasty and were absolutely thrilled. The traditional Chinese cuisine is incredibly authentic and simply delicious! We were particularly impressed by the freshly handmade noodles, a true taste experience. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, even though the shop was packed and she was working nonstop. She still greeted every customer with a smile; truly great service! We will definitely be back. Absolutely recommended for anyone who loves authentic Chinese food!

We became aware of this restaurant through good Chinese reviews. Conveniently, our hotel is right around the corner, so we were able to quickly get a first impression of the food. The shop has more of a snack bar feel than a restaurant, like most small restaurants in China. The service is very friendly and warm. Ordering is easy and the food was served quickly. The vegetarian selection is extensive and impresses with its taste. All grilled dishes, both vegetarian and meat, were extremely spicy. If you can't eat spicy food, it's best to let us know in advance. We ordered grilled lamb skewers, mushroom skewers, tofu skewers and runner bean skewers. We'd love to come back and be more hungry. Update: we actually came back the next evening after Leverkusen's triumph at the stadium to celebrate the victory. This time, in addition to the lamb skewer, we also tried eggplant, needle mushroom, tofu, squid, chicken heart and scallop. This time I had the lamb skewer grilled for an extra short time because I like it to be tender. It was again very tasty and we didn't have any business. When the caring and loving "aunt" - - the waitress - - found out that we still had a long drive home the next day, she gave us two drinks to take on the way. Like at home! 🥰

Totally inconspicuous from the outside, but the taste and the service from the boss are amazing! It's a shame that I only got to know this little restaurant today, but I will definitely visit it again when I have to change trains in Frankfurt and allow for a longer disembarkation time

Authentic Chinese cuisine in a small dining room that also feels very authentic. The service is friendly, all the dishes we tried were tasty and came out of the kitchen quickly. This (fortunately) has nothing to do with the western “sweet and sour” Chinese restaurants. My tip: definitely try the Jauzi!

Authentic, aromatic at fair prices

Taste: Chinese BBQ so-so, not enough choice, there are definitely other better places in Frankfurt. Noodle tastes better. Service: Waitress friendly, but you really have to keep waiting until she comes out of the kitchen. Or you can also serve yourself. Ambiance: Only 5 tables, not planned for fancy dinner, more like street stalls in Thailand. Price-performance: OK, around €30 per person if you want to try a lot.

All this place is missing is the noise level to give it that asia street food ambiance. It's authentic, it's comforting, it's the kind of treat I look for with a bunch of buddies for a casual meat and beer sitting. Can't go wrong here; it's comfort food and will turn any bad day into a good one. Update: still one of the best :)

As others have already described, you don't go here for the great decoration, but for the absolute authenticity of the Chinese cuisine and atmosphere, which may remind you of your last trip to East or Southeast Asia, especially if you're mostly away from the tourist circuit. miles on the way. Either you can get involved with it or you can't. If the latter is the case, then there are still plenty of other alternatives in the city. For me personally, the True Tasty is an absolute gem, a favorite and insider tip that I would happily recommend to anyone who "knows" ;) .

Never experienced anything like this: We sat in the restaurant for a full 20 minutes without anyone from the staff showing up. Even when you called politely to the kitchen, no one came. After a group of guests had already left, we left too. So I can't say anything about the food, but the service was subpar - or nonexistent at all.

The food was okay. Scallops are badly made, won’t recommend. But grilled mushrooms are good. We were two people, to get full we have ordered food for over 60 euro. However, when they said no card even though we bought a lot and tried to not give us a receipt, we knew that they are just trying to evade tax. Really bad experience with the service. Also the cold noodle is soooooo bad…

Good food as always the chef’s hospitality as always, and atmosphere is lame as always. Don’t tell me the wrong way. It’s a very nice restaurant, it’s so glad to see that the chef put all the money in the food and the ingredients rather than the decoration. In the past six years of my career life, I have to come to Frankfurt every year and I’m glad to say that this restaurant is my go to response.

Los platos eran buenos pero un poco picantes. Había comida china y coreana aquí. El servicio fue muy atento. El precio también era aceptable.

All the meat fillings are tender and juicy, and there is no particularly heavy seasoning flavor. They are really fresh and delicious, and not greasy.

The landlady is really nice and hard-working, and I am always satisfied with my food every time.

Great store!! Probably the best place to eat Chinese BBQ. The boss is so nice, I lost my money on the way and she let me finish eating in peace and I brought her the money later straight from home. I am so touched by the warmth and the authentic cuisine! Thank you for existing :)

A real experience and great jiaozi.

Some of the best Chinese food in the city. However they're not your traditional mapo tofu place, they have skewers and tofu coming with spices in a soup which you eat. The dumplings are pan seared and the dipping sauces are perfect. Small place but very clean and nicely done. You can pick your drinks from the refrigerator and hang out eating steaming hot and fresh food. Highly recommend
