This place is an absolute gem for dumpling lovers! The dumplings are all homemade - both the boiled and the pan-fried ones were perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. You can really taste the freshness in every bite. The homemade chili oil is outstanding and adds just the right amount of spice to complement the dumplings. On top of the great food, the owners and staff are super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very fair – excellent value for money. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious dumplings in a relaxed setting, this is the place to go. 5 stars without a doubt - highly recommended!

There are many negative reviews regarding hygiene, but in my opinion, this place specializes in Chinese street food, so comparing it to the hygiene standards of a typical restaurant is unreasonable. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and I could see her working hard despite the busy schedule, making for a comfortable dining experience. The street-style skewers here were fantastic, and the lamb skewers were truly delicious. The wonton noodle soup was clean and delicious, and while the naengmyeon (cold noodles) were quite sweet, they still had their own unique style, making them enjoyable. If you're Korean, I recommend ordering some skewers first and having a glass of soju the next day to soothe your hangover. Great!!!

The name lives up to its promise; the food was delicious and the prices were fair. I stumbled into the restaurant purely by chance and didn't regret it. An authentic atmosphere, a simple ordering system, and the food arrived very quickly. The vegetable jiaozi and spicy tofu were truly amazing, and the portions were perfect for sharing between friends. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd love to come back :)

Northeastern barbecue is still too delicious. To be honest, I am not used to eating barbecue with sour sauce. I prefer the original flavor, but it is already amazing in Germany.

An absolute insider tip in Frankfurt! We visited True Tasty and were absolutely thrilled. The traditional Chinese cuisine is incredibly authentic and simply delicious! We were particularly impressed by the freshly handmade noodles, a true taste experience. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, even though the shop was packed and she was working nonstop. She still greeted every customer with a smile; truly great service! We will definitely be back. Absolutely recommended for anyone who loves authentic Chinese food!

We became aware of this restaurant through good Chinese reviews. Conveniently, our hotel is right around the corner, so we were able to quickly get a first impression of the food. The shop has more of a snack bar feel than a restaurant, like most small restaurants in China. The service is very friendly and warm. Ordering is easy and the food was served quickly. The vegetarian selection is extensive and impresses with its taste. All grilled dishes, both vegetarian and meat, were extremely spicy. If you can't eat spicy food, it's best to let us know in advance. We ordered grilled lamb skewers, mushroom skewers, tofu skewers and runner bean skewers. We'd love to come back and be more hungry. Update: we actually came back the next evening after Leverkusen's triumph at the stadium to celebrate the victory. This time, in addition to the lamb skewer, we also tried eggplant, needle mushroom, tofu, squid, chicken heart and scallop. This time I had the lamb skewer grilled for an extra short time because I like it to be tender. It was again very tasty and we didn't have any business. When the caring and loving "aunt" - - the waitress - - found out that we still had a long drive home the next day, she gave us two drinks to take on the way. Like at home! 🥰

Totally inconspicuous from the outside, but the taste and the service from the boss are amazing! It's a shame that I only got to know this little restaurant today, but I will definitely visit it again when I have to change trains in Frankfurt and allow for a longer disembarkation time

Authentic Chinese cuisine in a small dining room that also feels very authentic. The service is friendly, all the dishes we tried were tasty and came out of the kitchen quickly. This (fortunately) has nothing to do with the western “sweet and sour” Chinese restaurants. My tip: definitely try the Jauzi!

Authentic, aromatic at fair prices

Taste: Chinese BBQ so-so, not enough choice, there are definitely other better places in Frankfurt. Noodle tastes better. Service: Waitress friendly, but you really have to keep waiting until she comes out of the kitchen. Or you can also serve yourself. Ambiance: Only 5 tables, not planned for fancy dinner, more like street stalls in Thailand. Price-performance: OK, around €30 per person if you want to try a lot.

All this place is missing is the noise level to give it that asia street food ambiance. It's authentic, it's comforting, it's the kind of treat I look for with a bunch of buddies for a casual meat and beer sitting. Can't go wrong here; it's comfort food and will turn any bad day into a good one. Update: still one of the best :)

As others have already described, you don't go here for the great decoration, but for the absolute authenticity of the Chinese cuisine and atmosphere, which may remind you of your last trip to East or Southeast Asia, especially if you're mostly away from the tourist circuit. miles on the way. Either you can get involved with it or you can't. If the latter is the case, then there are still plenty of other alternatives in the city. For me personally, the True Tasty is an absolute gem, a favorite and insider tip that I would happily recommend to anyone who "knows" ;) .

Never experienced anything like this: We sat in the restaurant for a full 20 minutes without anyone from the staff showing up. Even when you called politely to the kitchen, no one came. After a group of guests had already left, we left too. So I can't say anything about the food, but the service was subpar - or nonexistent at all.

The food was okay. Scallops are badly made, won’t recommend. But grilled mushrooms are good. We were two people, to get full we have ordered food for over 60 euro. However, when they said no card even though we bought a lot and tried to not give us a receipt, we knew that they are just trying to evade tax. Really bad experience with the service. Also the cold noodle is soooooo bad…

Good food as always the chef’s hospitality as always, and atmosphere is lame as always. Don’t tell me the wrong way. It’s a very nice restaurant, it’s so glad to see that the chef put all the money in the food and the ingredients rather than the decoration. In the past six years of my career life, I have to come to Frankfurt every year and I’m glad to say that this restaurant is my go to response.

A perfect place! You can order a lot of small portions of amazing food and nice noodle and soup dishes. The price is very cheap and everything tasted fresh and hot😍 to order, you have to write down numbers on a piece of paper. No miscommunication this way. Would 10/10 recommend

All the meat fillings are tender and juicy, and there is no particularly heavy seasoning flavor. They are really fresh and delicious, and not greasy.

The landlady is really nice and hard-working, and I am always satisfied with my food every time.

A real experience and great jiaozi.

Some of the best Chinese food in the city. However they're not your traditional mapo tofu place, they have skewers and tofu coming with spices in a soup which you eat. The dumplings are pan seared and the dipping sauces are perfect. Small place but very clean and nicely done. You can pick your drinks from the refrigerator and hang out eating steaming hot and fresh food. Highly recommend

Is Hard to remember a restaurant where higiene standards are missing so much. Is really scary and am not exaggerating! The dinning room is truly a mess food packages mix up with the tables frozen arch also there all kind of paper beverage carton also there! Tables full of fat they don’t even clean your table when you seat. No card accepted only cash. The time I was there it was truly bizarre apparently the chef came out of the kitchen with a big knife full of blood in his hands his trousers looked like he was a construction worker! I regret that I have been there. I was so scary afterwards but luckily no food poisoning no vomiting! Be aware of this restaurant.

We came from Luxembourg and found a very delicious barbecue and noodle shop! Highly recommended! The noodles are very chewy, and the buns and barbecue are all fresh! The most important thing is that we ate so much and it was so cheap! And the boss has a super nice attitude! ! Very kind!

It's a typical family shop. The food is authentic Northeastern style and the price is very good. The lady boss is also very nice, but if you have requirements for the environment and service, go elsewhere. Very authentic Chinese street food with great price value. Extremely kind owner and services. However, if you looking for sophisticated environment and dedicated personal services, here is not the right place for you.

The restraunt is simple in itself and highly recommended because of the food. However, I recommend everyone to go to the toilet beforehand because this is a condition that you don't want to see.

Seit Jahren bestes traditionelles chinesisches Streetfood. Ungezwungener "Kurzurlaub" mit herzlicher Chefin und vornehmlich chinesischer Kundschaft. Im Winter, drinnen, leider etwas dampfig, aber so ist das eben 😉

Hier zu essen kann ich nur empfehlen! Es war wie ein typisches chinesisches Restaurant. Eine ungezwungene Atmosphäre und freundliche Bedienung. Ich war überrascht was für ausgefallene Dinge auf der Speisekarte standen. So hatten meine Freund und ich uns den Ochsenfrosch bestellt. Leider war ein Gericht schon ausverkauft, was wir haben wollten (und ein weiteres Gericht von einem anderen Gast auch). Das war aber nicht weiter schlimm und wir haben uns ein anderes bestellt. Preislich gibt es nichts negatives zu sagen. 33€ für 2 Personen inklusive Soju ging mehr als klar. Wenn wir wieder in Frankfurt sind werden wir definitiv wieder vorbei schauen!

Ein absoluter geheim Tipp für jeden der gutes und leckeres Essen Wert schätzt. Der Laden sieht von außen und auch von innen sehr unscheinbar aus. Aber das täuscht gewaltig. Sehr leckere Essen.

Labai skanus maistas - ypatingai keptos varlės - minkštos, sultingos, didelės, sočios. Porcijos ieti labai didelės. Kainos, palyginti, mažos. Grybų iešmeliai - 2€, bliūdas makaronų su kiauliena - 9€, varlė - 2€. Virtuvėje triūsia vienintelė šeimininkė - vietiniai vadina "mama". Ateikit, skaniai pavalgysit, bendrauja irgi labai maloniai.

Toller authentischer laden, wie in China. Fokus liegt auf dem Essen und nicht auf die Dekoration im Laden. Sehr freundliche Besitzerin, die sich liebevoll um einen kümmert. Die Portionen sind unglaublich großzügig für das Geld. Ich würde hier jederzeit wiederkommen und es definitiv empfehlen. Die Nudeln waren sehr lecker!

Sehr leckeres und authentisches Essen. Die Portionen sind eher üppig und die Preise sehr günstig (z.B. Huhn in Sojasoße mit Nudeln: 9€, drei Tintenfischspieße 3,50 €) - bis auf das Tsingtao-Bier (0,33er Dose 3,20€), aber egal, das gehört einfach dazu. Es gibt aber auch Krombacher ;-). Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist eher bescheiden, aber für einen Imbiss okay. Es ist ein kleiner Laden und u.U. findet man drinnen keinen Platz mehr (wir hatten Glück). Es gibt aber etliche Plätze draußen. Was zumindest im Sommer (und wenn es mal nicht dauernd regnet, so wie zur Zeit) eine Alternative ist.

The restaurant is pretty small, at least you can get a place outside. The food is nice and pretty cheap for Germany price. You need patience to wait for your order, esp at the busy hours and weekend.

Staff was very helpful with the menu selections. The dumplings were very good and all the food was delicious. They even made just a noodle order to go for me. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good Chinese food. It is open late too.

Frankfurt pur. Streetfood. Wunderbares Essen. Gewürzessig und Sesam-Chilli Mischung steht immer bereit. Du sitzt draußen auf Bierbänken, rundherum ist viel los. Du schreibst die Nummer deiner Speise auf ein Zettel. Die Besitzerin ist eine Reise wert.

Ok so the food is a m a i z i n g! It’s just there a r too busy to get orders, make them and charge them. There are two guys hosting and getting orders but the lady(who seems like the owner) is cooking in the kitchen and also charging customers. Why can’t the duds just get the money and make the table rotate? And because every is old-school the orders are on a price of paper, YOU HAVE TO PAY BY CASH ONLY. Beware if this. You need cash. Also because the food was good(salty as it should be) I though it would be so good with a bowl of rice but they ain’t got no rice :( I Chinese restaurant with no rice smh

Very nice dumplings! They were absolutely delicious. We didn’t try the other dishes, but they looked also good, and since there were many asian guests, I would guess the kitchen is authentic.

Food was great. Service was also pretty nice. Just Hygiene is a big problem there. When I walked inside and looked for the owner, I had to walk to the kitchen and when I saw inside I was shocked. Really shabby kitchen and opened packaged& meat was on the floor.
