REZENSION: DONNERSTAG, 9. OKTOBER 2025 Nachdem ich die vielen asiatischen Restaurants in der Leipziger Straße verglichen hatte, war das Bistro Hong Kong meine erste Wahl. Da ich selbst ein sehr erfolgreiches chinesisches Restaurant in San Francisco geführt habe, weckte das überaus freundliche Ehepaar, das das Restaurant betreibt, schöne Erinnerungen an die glückliche Zusammenarbeit in einer Familie. Zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben wurde mir geraten, weniger zu bestellen! Der gebratene Reis mit Gemüse war so köstlich, dass ich ihn bis zum letzten Reiskorn mit dem Löffel aufgegessen habe. Mein rotes Rindfleischcurry war genauso lecker, dass auch hier mein Löffel zu meinem besten Freund wurde. Ha und Mickey, stets fröhlich und zuvorkommend, wurden in der Küche von einem ebenso netten jungen Deutschen unterstützt. Gestern probierte ich zum ersten Mal Nr. 199 – das super knusprige Brathähnchen mit frischen Sojasprossen. Oh mein Gott, diese Kombination war so lecker wie gesund! Köstliches Essen in großen Portionen zu günstigen Preisen. Die Speisekarte bietet fast ausschließlich Curry-, Reis- und Nudelgerichte, zu denen man Fleisch oder vegetarische Beilagen wählen kann. Fast alle Gerichte kosten unter 10 €. Das Lokal ist klein, bietet aber genügend Platz und die Einrichtung sorgt für eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen wird schnell zubereitet und ist sehr lecker. Die Portion (wie auf dem Foto zu sehen) war so groß, dass ich sie nicht aufessen konnte und die Hälfte mitnehmen musste. Ein wunderbares Restaurant, absolut empfehlenswert! Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Leckeres Essen zu einem guten Preis

Erst war ich mit Freunden direkt neben an was Essen und habe dann für meinen Mann hier noch Nudeln mit Ente EUR 11,- mitgenommen. Ich kenne den Imbiss noch von meiner Studienzeit, als ich ein halbes Jahr in Bockenheim wegen eines Praktikums direkt in unmittelbarer Nähe gewohnt habe. Auch damals war ich gerne dort, weil das Essen (egal was) wirklich lecker fand. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis Stimmt auch... Man kann draußen an einem Schiebefenster bestellen. Es gibt im Imbiss aber auch ein paar Sitzgelegenheiten. Den Imbiss kann ich wirklich empfehlen!

Das Essen ist von schlechter Qualität und der Laden ist unhygienisch. Ich rate dringend davon ab, dorthin zu gehen. Danke.

Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich, die Preise sind angemessen, die Portionen großzügig und das Essen köstlich. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen. Allerdings wird nur Barzahlung akzeptiert, und Bestellungen zur Lieferung/Abholung sind über die Lieferando.de-App möglich. Bestellungen über die App sind etwas teurer.

The dry fried beef noodles are very wok-fried. What you eat here is not just a simple meal, you are eating the flavor of your hometown.

Price is good… Crispy duck is delicious… Update 2025: I think the boss has taken over as chef and he tends to make the veggies more salty. So remember to inform him not to put too much salt.

My standard Asian restaurant in Frankfurt. Don't expect miracles when eating there; it's more of a snack bar. The food is excellent, especially the duck. I've always been treated very friendly. And with the prices, no one can really complain. I'm always happy to come back.

Delicious asian food, with very good prices. Nr 31 noodles with chicken is my go-to dish. If you want to dine in the place is a bit small but cozy, also be prepared for your clothes to smell off food because their cooking station is right there.

For an average of €10, you get really good portions here, and most importantly, the taste is really, really good. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll eat there again.

Unfortunately, my experience with this place wasn't that good. I used to eat here occasionally, and it was okay. Back then, the food cost around €5-6 (pre-COVID), so the quality was okay for the price. Now, however, a portion costs around €10, and the quality is really very poor. Compared to the other Asian restaurants on Leipziger Straße, I think this place isn't that good. So, I won't be coming back. The service was nice, but the food wasn't tasty.

Quick and easy Asian fast food. I had the Hor Fun (rice noodles) with shrimp, and some fried wanton (dumplings). Tasted authentic, this is coming from an Asian. Price is on point. Will be back. Cash only, fyi.

Very good food, always something going on, friendly and cheap. What more could you want? Fried egg rice with chicken is great. 6 small spring rolls with sauce for €2 are always possible :) My new favorite is the crispy chicken, thick breading and tender chicken inside, I don't want to think about the countless calories, but it tastes amazing

Been eating here for the last 20 years and my recent visit was extremely disappointing. The crispy duck that once was my favourite is now not crispy and very dry. Inedible. Sad to see this place deteriorate as the owner is a very nice man. Hope they read this and up their standard.

It has Hong Kong in the name, but it has nothing to do with it. Standard Asian snack bar without any unique selling point. It's like that everywhere else too. You don't have to visit it a second time.

Great price, big portion, friendly staffs It’s more like a take-away place or Imbiss with some seats. Have to say the Chinese food there is a bit adjusted to European style but tasty still. Some dishes are quite oily, so not friendly for those who are on diet.

Ich war 2022 beruflich längerfristig in Frankfurt unterwegs und in Folge dessen habe ich über einen Zeitraum von ca. einem halben Jahr (oder etwas mehr), drei bis vier mal die Woche hier gegessen. . Und ich würde es ohne zu Zögern jeder Zeit wieder tun!

ich habe schon unzählige Male hier gegessen - das Essen ist immer super schnell fertig, der Service mega freundlich und die Preise (für Frankfurt) definitiv mega günstig - und das bei sehr großen Portionen! Geschmacklich ist es sehr davon abhängig, wer das Essen zubereitet: manchmal schmeckt es bombastisch gut, manchmal fehlt irgendwie etwas... ich würde hier zu 80% sagen: super lecker! und zu 20%: da geht noch mehr... Rezensionen die auf einem einzigen Besuch basieren, halte ich für unsinnig. Dafür ist das Angebot zu groß und die Möglichkeiten zu vielfältig.

Schnell bestellt, das Essen wurde auch sehr schnell zubereitet. Gebratener Reis mit Hühnerfleisch war lecker und von der Portionsgrösse war ich begeistert.

Waren jetzt mehrfach hier essen. Egal ob zum mitnehmen oder direkt vor Ort war immer top. Preis Leistungsverhältnis wirklich unschlagbar. Unter diesen Umständen werden wir auch weiterhin hier essen.

Consistently good Chinese wok dishes. Thank you to the Hainanese uncle for preparing all the yummy Chinese wok dishes. Recently I ordered #27 tomato fried rice with chicken and hot and sour soup for takeaway. It is served in a styrofoam box with a generous portion and reasonable pricing. The soup helps to balance the dryness of the fried rice. I can’t wait to return to try the other dishes.

Das Bistro Hong Kong hat ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal: Authentisch. Das Geschäft bietet 17 Sitzplätze, kleiner Platz und gekühlt wird hier mit Ventilatoren. Man spürt die Hitze, die Wärme und die Luftzirkulation. Das ist kein Manko! DAS ist Authentizität! Solche Lokale wird man in unzählbarer Anzahl in Hong Kong, Vietnam oder Zentralchina erleben. Und weniger die Klimagekühlten 5* Asia-Geschäfte, wo das asiatische Essen etwas besonderes sein soll. Das ist es nämlich nicht! Es ist ein Grundnahrungsmittel der asiatischen Kultur, die täglich und zu jeder Zeit genossen wird. Bistro Hong Kong Frankfurt ist der Vorgeschmack von asiatischer Kultur in Hong Kong (Street).

The friendliest service I've encountered in Germany. The friendly lady always remembers us when we visit and always give us extra chillies on the side without our asking. Die Stimmung und das Essen ist genial und es fühlt sich an wie in Hongkong. Wenn ich kurz entspannen will und mir keinen Urlaub leisten kann sind die 5 Euro für ein leckeres Hauptgericht hier Gold wert. In 15 Minuten kann man wirklich bisschen Heim- oder Fernweh bekommen, etwas träumen, aber auch ganz schnell essen wenn man weiter muss. :D :D :D

Jedes Mal aufs neue der Hammer! wir essen seit jahren mindestens einmal im monat dort. wenn nicht sogar jede woche... unbedingt "schwarze bohnen" probieren... Billig. Lecker und man hat das gefühl in asien zu sein..
