Actually very tasty and friendly and one of the few authentic Chinese restaurants, it's a shame that hygiene is massively neglected as can be seen from the Hessian consumer window portal.. really a shame.. I was almost a regular guest..

The China Haus Restaurant impresses with authentic, freshly prepared Chinese dishes and a cozy atmosphere. The menu offers a wide selection and the service is friendly and attentive. The prices are fair for the quality and portion size. Perfect for a relaxed evening with delicious food.

The food is served slowly and the master chef keeps making takeaways. The dine-in experience was very average. The hand-shredded cabbage served at the end was almost completely raw, which was not pleasant. The overall taste is bland, not spicy at all, and the food is not salty.

It’s okay ~ the price is not expensive either… There is a young lady with a very good service attitude ~ compared to the other one hahahaha! A Chinese restaurant that I will come back to again~

It’s a pity. After changing the owner last Sept, service has downgraded while prices have increased several times. Phantastisches und wirklich authentisches chinesisches Essen. Die Speisekarte ist extrem vielfältig und spannend. Ich komme wieder um meinen Horizont bezüglich chinesischem Essen zu erweitern.

Quite tasty, but the quantity and price are not right. The three of us got 3 dishes and 1 starter, including drinks it was 25 euros per person at lunch and we weren't full. There wasn't much meat in the pork belly and vegetable wok either.

I had an excellent experience at China Haus. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, perfect for enjoying a meal. The food was delicious and authentic, making it one of the best Chinese restaurants I've visited in Frankfurt. Highly recommended!

Authentic dishes, good staff and nice ambiance.

The taste is authentic, the price is okay, it would be better to have more non-spicy dishes, there are too few wine choices, the bathroom is not good, the cumin mutton is too salty, the fish-flavored eggplant is not made, the fragrant dried shredded pork is also good, waiting for the food to be served forty minutes

The restaurant offers Sichuan cuisine. The dishes we ordered weren't too spicy. The atmosphere is very narrow and also relatively loud. But this is usually not a problem for Chinese people. These also made up the majority of the guest group. That in itself is a sign of quality. There are some funny translations on the German menu. What's annoying: the many delivery services that constantly pick up dishes.

Husband and wife's lung slices are too salty! It seems like it took a long time! The ingredients of the boiled beef are too poor and the price does not match! Boiled fish! The fish is also frozen! The fish will be bitter!

Nice Chinese food restaurant, with reasonable price

Small restaurant with big taste! If you are looking for authentic spicy Chinese food, this is the place! The restaurant is small and very clean and modern inside. The menu has options for nonspicy food but they also have lots of options (up to 5 peppers on their spicy scale) for spicy food! It can be hard to find actual spicy food in Germany, and this is one of the places that has it. We got the cucumber salad (2 peppers), Kung pao chicken (1 pepper), and something with glass noodles and pork (3 peppers). The cucumber salad was excellent. We even saved the leftover dressing to put on plain rice because it was so tasty. It had a nice spice but not too much. I took a bite of the chicken and didn't think it was spicy at all (but flavors were good!) But others at the table did say it was spicy the more you ate. The glass noodle dish, I didn't think was spicy so I added some peppers that were in the Kung pao chicken. The flavor was really delicious. Service was very quick, we didn't have to wait very long for our food. Service was also very polite and kind. Portions were perfect sized. Some vegetarian options available as well. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the restaurant and service, and will definitely be back!

Nice, tidy restaurant. My 麻辣干锅鸡 was tasty, the best I've eaten in Frankfurt so far. The portion was large but not oversized like other Chinese restaurants. The staff was friendly. The price was perfectly fine at EUR 16.80 plus EUR 1 for the rice.

Ordered via Uber Eats so can't really comment on the service and atmosphere. Ordered the spicy fried chicken, aka la zi ji, but didn't really like it as not fragrantly-spicy tasting and smelling, and the chicken was fried with bones. The green beans tasted better and rice provided quite big portion.

The Chicken Cold dish is not fresh, tastes like in fridge for several days after cooked, giving a funny taste of old oil. What’s more it was not tender enough to qualify it for it’s purpose. The meat and tofu pieces in the beef stew was like so rubbery that you get full after 2 pieces of it. And the price is not that great as well. Won’t bother coming again since I’m not living in FFM.🙄

This is also the most honest and trustworthy restaurant in Fran's business. There are not so many tricks, whether it is the dishes or the service. The only thing is that the space is a bit small.

No experience yet. After 20 minutes of waiting where only Chinese people were served, a waiter came to me and said that everything was reserved. Although there were at least 6 places available. So racist countries that, as everyone says, deliver very, very, very good food. I will try it again as a non-Chinese. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works.

China Haus Frankfurt earns mixed reviews. Although the food is excellent, the poor service disappoints. The ambience leaves a lot to be desired and the parking options are also inadequate.

The food itself was tasty and authentic but not all dishes are recommended. Many dishes contained too much fat than necessary. The restaurant is quite small, but there are always a lot of people there - be sure to reserve a table before visiting. It's very noisy, but the food is served quickly and hot - a plus. It's a good Chinese restaurant, but there are also many better ones in Frankfurt where you can sit a little more comfortably.

Spent 21 euro buying this pickled fish dish(via Uber eats), it looked like some kind of vomit. The fish was covered with so much starch that it got way too soft and ruined the soup as well. We've ordered at this restaurant several times in the past, but we were totally disappointed this time.

Very nice food served at here ✨ The Lady Boss was super friendly! I love their 白斩鸡 & 麻辣香锅(I always ask for less spicy) 😂 very generous portion! I went at 12:05pm right after they opened, and the restaurant was quickly filled with customer. I guess reservation is necessary if you are coming in a group.

The taste of the food has remained the same as before, but the new owners have a complete lack of service, and the table is constantly shaking because of people waiting, making it uncomfortable to eat. I've been there three times since the new owners took over and each time the food arrived late with errors in the orders and the arrogant attitude of the owners in dealing with complaints is unbearable, that's why I'm writing this review." Food was tasty, but depending on the dish, the menu gives incorrect information. The German text is partly wrong, which is fine, but then the pictures should at least be correct...

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Frankfurt, very authentic!

The food was very good, but unfortunately the pig's feet were too hard. The millennial eggs were a 10 out of 10. The restaurant was loud and the atmosphere was quite stressful. But still a nice restaurant. A very large vent for the toilets. They were outside and dirty. The floor was wet, the toilet paper was on the floor. You felt dirtier when you were caught in it. There are no free parking spaces nearby. Lidl charges a €30 fine after 90 minutes.

We have been regular customers for 5 years. Unfortunately there have been 4x price increases in the past year and the quantities have become smaller and smaller. Since the owners changed, the food no longer tastes fresh and the service is a disaster. That's really a pity

Das Essen war krotten schlecht. Ich hatte Haare im Essen, aber die Mitarbeiter bzw. der Chef sagte ich hätte sie selber reingemacht. Totale Enttäuschung. Wirklich nicht zu empfehlen.

A real gem in Frankfurt, near the Westbahnhof. Original Szechuan cuisine. Very tasty, spicy and well presented. Many Chinese guests. If you want to taste the difference to conventional Chinese restaurants, highly recommended.

Be careful when ordering! The dish that was labeled “spicy” was the least spicy. We paid particular attention to ensuring that the dishes should not be spicy. We had children with us and they couldn't eat with us. In addition, none of the dishes had rice - given the price of 18-21 euros per dish, that's strange.

Was recommended to me as one of the best Chinese restaurants in ffm, I couldn't agree more. Very authentic spicy western Chinese cuisine. The spices and ingredients are all high quality. The Sichuan pepper alone is really good and has a much more interesting aroma than what we have at home. However, the spicy is intense but pleasant and not aggressive. Everything was clean and fresh. Plus a very fair price. The service was also super friendly and welcoming. The order was totally uncomplicated and the delivery was very reliable, on time, well packaged and with a detailed explanation. —————————————- Update January 2024: As regular guests, we are now very disappointed with our former favorite restaurant. After the change of ownership in September last year, everything got much worse: The service is catastrophic. Totally uncoordinated and uncontrolled. Staff very unfriendly, unavailable, make mistakes when ordering or forget things. Also slowly. You have to wait forever for the food. Now it has become much more expensive with the price increase, but the portion feels smaller. It's a shame but I wouldn't recommend it.

A quaint place with great food! It's one of the Chinese restaurants which is not in the Hauptbahnhof area and something we enjoyed a lot. We went in without a reservation at 1800 and got luck, there was a queue by the time we left. The portions are huge the service is friendly and the food tastes very authentic. My new favorite place to eat Mapo Tofu.

My gf (chinese) swears the dishes served here are very authentic. For my part, I really enjoyed everything I have tried here after a few visits. The restaurant is relatively small and very unassuming from the outside but very well lit and decorated from the inside. Every table is wheelchair accessiblebut their toilets are down a narrow stairwell with no ramp, so be aware of this potential hurdle. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the food is well priced with big portions. Their signature dish would be fish, so be sure to give it a try.

The Food has always been great there, but the delivery did really upset me. In liferando app says “all dishes are served with rice”, and as in restaurant it is always served with rice, one assumes that rice comes in the order… well, when the delivery arrived it didn’t have rice, so we called and the told us “you have to order rice apart” 🤡 that’s what is called misleading information.

Wir sind gerade zufällig auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen und es ist die beste authentische Szechuan Küche in der ich bisher gegessen habe. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich klein und die Bedienung freundlich. Die Portionen waren mehr als angemessen für den Preis und alle drei Gerichte waren hervorragend.

Authentic Chinese restaurant specialized in spicy food. I love their signature grilled fish, but it may not be so European friendly because it serves the whole fish with bones. Different from the usual Chinese restaurant, they charge for rice, but big portion with fair price. The restaurant is quite small and the place is always full, be prepared to sit in tight.

I made the mistake of not reserving a table for Friday dinner. Got turned away initially. Luck intervened and I got called back to a two-seat table by the front door before being moved to a one-seater by the back door. This was my second visit within my 3-day visit. I didn’t mind being moved around. I was just happy that so many agree with me on how good the food here is.

Das Ambiente ist freundlich, der Service top und das Essen traumhaft. Selten so authentisches chinesisches Essen gefunden - und dazu noch in so einem breiten Umfang. Der geschmorte Rinderbauch war fabelhaft und den Gurkensalat werde ich mir auf jeden Fall wieder bestellen. Hier findet man außerdem auch kulinarische Besonderheiten, die es sonst so in Deutschland nicht gibt. Für die weniger Interessierten gibt es aber auch leckere generische Speisen, die voll mit Geschmack sind. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Gestern habe ich in diesem Szechuan-Restaurant in Frankfurt gegessen und war wirklich sehr zufrieden! Zunächst einmal ist ihr Service äußerst freundlich und herzlich. Sobald man hereinkommt, wird man herzlich willkommen geheißen, die Kellner lächeln immer und sind bereit, unsere Fragen zu beantworten, was das gesamte Essenserlebnis noch angenehmer macht. Was das Essen betrifft, es ist einfach köstlich und kaum in Worte zu fassen! Ihr Szechuan-Essen bewahrt wirklich den authentischen Geschmack, jede Speise lässt einem das Wasser im Mund zusammenlaufen. Egal, ob es sich um "Mao Xue Wang", "Hand-gezupftes Gemüse" oder "Szechuan-Fisch in Brühe" handelt, jedes Gericht ist ein Genuss. Die Zutaten sind frisch, die Kochkunst ist hervorragend, und jeder Bissen ist voller Geschmack und Schärfe. Zusammenfassend bin ich mit meiner Erfahrung in diesem Szechuan-Restaurant sehr zufrieden. Der freundliche Service und das köstliche Essen machen mich bereit, wiederzukommen. Wenn Sie authentisches Szechuan-Essen probieren möchten, empfehle ich dieses Restaurant in Frankfurt nachdrücklich!

Eines der besten China Restaurants in FFM. Authentisch und leckere Küche. Am Wochenende MUSS man reservieren ansonsten kaum eine Chance auf einen Platz. Sehr zu empfehlen.

One of great chinese restaurant in Frankfurt

I ordered 4 dishes and all tasted so good. Cozy restaurant with full of Chinese people which means not localized. Will definetely come again.

Ordered mala xiang guo, it’s too oily, the meat is not fresh, and too dry, and it is tasteless. They probably rush everything the food came out with no quality and no seasoning at all. So disappointing. We left after having a few bites.

Mittlerweile das zweite chinesische Restaurant mit unterirdischem Verhalten. Reservierung war um 19:00. Bis 19:25 Uhr waren wir für die Bedienung für Tische nicht mal einen Blick wert. Die Bedienung an der Theke hat mit Lächeln und „Gleich“-Rufe uns bis 19:25 Uhr stehen lassen. Obwohl Tische frei waren. Zwischenzeitlich kamen Chinesen rein, drängten sich wie Hornochsen vor, redet mit der Bedienung kurz und durften sich aussuchen, wo sie sitzen wollen. Als die Bedienung an der Theke nach 25 Minuten zu uns kam, sagte ich ihr sehr ruhig und höflich, dass wir für 19:00 Uhr reserviert hatten, jetzt aber gerne darauf verzichten und nicht mehr möchten. Nachdem wir raus gingen kam sie hinterher raus, nach einem Wortwechsel sagte sie Verständnislos warum ich so einen Stress mache? Obwohl niemand unhöflich oder laut wurde, aus Rücksicht anderen Gästen gegenüber!!!! Das sollte sich mal ein deutsches Restaurant erlauben …

Este es un lugar pequeño y acogedor y creo que uno de los mejores restaurantes chinos de Frankfurt. El servicio es rápido y amable, la comida es auténtica y tienen mucha variedad. Vine aquí con un grupo de amigos y teníamos una variedad de platos para compartir, incluidos fideos con pescado, verduras con batatas y tofu. Todos estaban deliciosos. Yo recomendaría este lugar.

Eine chinesische Freundin von mir hat mich und meine Japanische Frau dorthin eingeladen. Von außen ist das Restaurant recht unscheinbar. Doch es waren alle Tische besetzt. Zum Glück hatten wir reserviert. Das Restaurant war voll mit Chinesen. Ein sehr gutes Zeichen für authentisches Essen. Die Tageskarte war auf einer schwarzen Tafel auf chinesisch. Die Speisekarte selbst ist auf chinesisch und deutsch und der Service sehr freundlich. Das Essen wird schnell serviert und perfekt abgeschmeckt. Wir hatten zu viert vier Speisen. Aber Vorsicht: Die Portionen and sehr groß! Jede Speise war unterschiedlich gewürzt. Einfach nur perfekt. Wir essen gerne scharf, daher war es traumhaft. Doch es gibt auch die Möglichkeit die Speisen etwas milder zu bekommen. Sehr zu empfehlen sind Hackfleisch mit Bohnen und der Fisch. Der Fisch wird sogar vor den Augen der Kunden auf eine Ölplatte fertig gebraten. Ein Besuch lohnt sich. Reservieren nicht vergessen

四个菜带三杯酒才50欧，都是非常正宗的川菜，一看就是国内来的厨子。口水鸡的汤汁非常棒。米饭也是东亚长粒米。人很多需要预订。
