The noodlemaker in Frankfurt am Main

Last time I was there. They couldn't cook the tofu properly. They didn't cook the canned mushrooms either. They just spat it into the soup. The soup was cold. Everything was done in a hurry. The Massa shop is totally annoying with its hectic attitude and loud mouth. The Romanian service, on the other hand, was very polite and attentive.

A beautiful, modern restaurant where you can watch the noodles being pulled by hand. The service is fast, but more efficient than super-friendly. The food was good; I particularly enjoyed the Asian Bolognese.

These noodles weren’t made. They were engineered. Slurped them like there was no tomorrow. Cozy vibe, quick service, and portions that made me question if I should ever cook at home again. Noodle heaven.

I've been there several times, and each time I've seen the same waiter wearing glasses. He reaches directly into each bowl with his gloved hand and adds leeks and meat. The first time, I was shocked and thought it was just an isolated incident. But after several visits, I realized that this waiter is always there—and that he always does it this way. I find this extremely unhygienic and, frankly, disgusting. I find it particularly horrible that he takes the beef slices with his bare hands and places them directly into the soup bowls. I've also observed him: He does many other things, such as cashing customers. Afterward, he doesn't even wash his hands, but uses the same dirty hands to reach into the ingredients and place them in the customers' bowls. Once, he even came straight from the restroom and immediately reached into the container of spring onions and beef with the same hands. I'm writing all this in the hope that something will change at this restaurant. The noodles there are truly delicious, and it would be a shame if so many customers stayed away due to poor hygiene. In fact, I already know several friends who no longer eat there for precisely this reason.

The food is super delicious! But in the last 10 visits, I've gotten something different than what I ordered 8 times... usually just a different size pasta. 4 times, I simply had no or hardly any vegetables in my dish.

The noodles and side dishes here are delicious!! The owner and chef are both Chinese. Absolutely authentic. The ingredients for the beef noodles are also very solid. They also gave us smashed cucumbers as a gift.

Fascinating noodle-making technique. Firm and delicious noodles. A commercial kitchen atmosphere. Very, very tasty, always packed. But two seats are always available. The most delicious noodle soup in Frankfurt.

The boss is very friendly. The food comes out super fast. It tastes great! My daughter almost finished a big bowl of noodles for the first time.

Especially authentic Chinese noodles, the spicy oil is very fragrant, and the snacks randomly dropped by the boss are also very fragrant and delicious. I love it and will come again next time

Authentic northwestern Chinese noodle bowls and side-dishes. The noodle is always freshly pulled so it has the best-class texture you can imagine. The chief crew has exellent skill and the service was top-notch. For noodles, I highly recommend the Original Lanzhou Lamian. If you're bored, try the Sauerkohl Lamian. You will love the texture and taste of the Sauerkohl (pickled Chinese vegitables). For dry/wok noodles, I think both the beef one (Rindfleish Lamian-wok) and the lamb one (Lammfleish Lamian-Wok) are great. For side dishes, I recommend the Lamb skewers, although it's actually on toothpicks (another classic Chinese dishes).

EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF! I went to this shop for takeout twice. First I check if the bolognese noodles was pork he lied to me yes and later I found out was actually beef. Second day was WORSE! He literally throw tantrum and punching the table when I told him I wanted to order for takeaway and I need to see a menu. Everyone including the staff saw if you(shop owner) need to investigate. I did not make much contact with him and for 2 days the total conversation with him literally less than 5 sentences and he did this to me which I find it really unacceptable and intimidating! This shop do not deserve even 1 star of rating.

Authentic, hand-pulled noodles 🍜, fresh side dishes, and plenty of spice :) "The Noodlemaker" in Frankfurt impresses with its hand-pulled noodles. The broth is rich without being overpowering, and the beef is tender. We chose the Chinese cucumber salad and the seasoned radish as sides – both fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. The ambiance is simple but fitting, and the service is friendly. Overall, an authentic taste experience that we'd happily recommend.

The portions are huge. The broth and noodles are delicious, and service is quick.

They have really good noodles (they’re making their own right in the kitchen and you get to see it as you eat which is a show in itself!). The soups are delicious and we really like the flavors and the fact that they pack everything really well when you do take out! The only small downside is that the ratio noodle to everything else is a bit tipped in favor of the noodles - there’s a bit too much of it … Get their picked radishes with every order they are delicious!

The best Lanzhou ramen in France

Food was great and not that pricey. The interior really fits its concept. Loved watching the chef make the noodles while eating them myself.

I asked the clerk if I could get free noodles, but he said, "How can you get free noodles now?" He didn't even look at how high the cost is now😅 1kg of high-gluten flour is less than 0.9 euros in the supermarket, so why is it so expensive? The Chinese noodle restaurant in Nuremberg offers free noodles, and if the soup is not enough, the clerk will directly ask in a friendly manner.

Only 2 vegan options in the main menu, but they were very tasty. Noodles did the job. Worthy checking especially if you are nearby fairs.

Very delicious! Sometimes I can eat two bowls when I'm hungry! The noodles are freshly pulled and taste really good! The boss's business is booming!

Truly unbelievably good food!! I happened to be there by chance and was immediately transported to another world. Add to that the extremely delicious and fresh food. It was absolutely delicious, and I will definitely go back when I'm back in Frankfurt. Highly recommended for anyone who wants something authentically Asian. For me, this is the absolute number 1 place so far!! The price is completely reasonable. For just under €20, you'll really get your fill here, including a drink.

The food generally tasted very good and was plentiful. Unfortunately, it wasn't delivered in a presentable manner, as can be seen in the photo. Half the broth had leaked into the bag, and the oil from the noodles was everywhere later. As an Asian or experienced chopstick eater, this is probably easy. For me, as a European who occasionally tries something new, the meal was a bit of a challenge. Do you pour the broth into the noodle bowl or do you dip the noodles in the broth with your utensils before eating them? I've tried both, and both had their pitfalls. I wouldn't trust myself to eat the dish in a restaurant without making a mess.

WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE the FOOD is so normal, nothing special at all the CONDITIONS are so rude, extremely rude I can't imagine how such a disrespectful restaurant can still exist today at 2 we were sitting outside, nobody served us, we went in and asked the conditions (it's their job) they said you sit outside, there is no service outside and they were very rude the food is disgusting

The attitude is very bad. What makes them think they are so great that they can treat customers with this attitude? Four of us sat outside at 2 o'clock. There were no customers inside. We waited for a while and no one paid attention to us. When we went in to ask how to order, a man with glasses, not sure if he was an employee or the boss, told us with a very bad attitude that no one would serve us if we sat outside. I really don't understand. How good is your food? It's really awesome.

The service is very bad. Is it because they can't speak Chinese or because we are Chinese that they treat us like this? The noodles are not delicious enough to make you feel so awesome.

It was pretty awesome. I enjoyed the dish. I did prefer Soup Day and the Uyghur restaurant Tengri Tagh in Düsseldorf. But for the hot and spicy soup my sinuses needed, I got a delicious and fresh one here. The noodles were very good and tasty. The spiciness can be adjusted. ✌️

The homemade noodles have a good consistency. However, I wasn't impressed with the taste, and it was quite oily. The smell of an Asian food shop always wafts through the restaurant, and it's reflected in the food. The price is too high, in my opinion. The apple spritzer had already reached its peak; you could already taste the fermentation.

Been there twice so far and I’m pretty satisfied. Sometime the noodles are too hard and some waiters were sometimes a little disturbing but overall experience was good! Also very great value for sure!

Absolutely the best never noodles I've ever had anywhere in the world, as Asian myself I'd say its authentic enough and perfectly suited for westerner's taste too. I think I went there like 3 days in a row last time I visited Frankfurt, and I will be if I have a chance to visit the city in the future again. I miss it so much! It's a really great restaurant. The staff is friendly, the side dishes are all delicious, and the main dishes are all delicious. The spiciness is just right, and I just think of it every day in Korea...

The noodles were really good, but the Lamian wok beef dish lacked flavor overall, and no amount of seasoning with the sauces on the table helped.

Unfortunately, I'm no longer recommended. In February, we discovered a severe pest infestation and mouse droppings (even on the electrical outlets and pasta machines), and the dishwashers were being used without dishwasher detergent!! 🫣🫣😱 According to the hygiene report, the dishes and glasses were obviously not cleaned properly. The place was really good, but saving money on dishwashing detergent and endangering the health of the guests was apparently intentional.

I don't know how many times I've come here to eat. The noodles are very chewy, the side dishes are really good, and the wine is delicious.

Really tasty! We got the original & it was some of the best we've had. Very generous serving. Broth was rich & full of flavour & the chilli oil was delish. Sad we're only staying a short time, otherwise we'd be here every day!

The restaurant is very busy. So you can't go wrong here. The price, freshness, taste, and craftsmanship are all just right. Who doesn't love fresh pasta? I experienced this concept here for the first time, with a pasta baker who prepares the pasta fresh before cooking it.
