The noodles were really good, but the Lamian wok beef dish lacked flavor overall, and no amount of seasoning with the sauces on the table helped.

I don't know how many times I've come here to eat. The noodles are very chewy, the side dishes are really good, and the wine is delicious.

Unfortunately, I'm no longer recommended. In February, we discovered a severe pest infestation and mouse droppings (even on the electrical outlets and pasta machines), and the dishwashers were being used without dishwasher detergent!! 🫣🫣😱 According to the hygiene report, the dishes and glasses were obviously not cleaned properly. The place was really good, but saving money on dishwashing detergent and endangering the health of the guests was apparently intentional.

I've never had this before: Chinese Bolognese. A delicious blend of noodles and fresh vegetables. Delicious. Thanks Google Maps for directing me to this place. And I got to sit at the bar, which she also loves. Unfortunately, they didn't have dessert, but hey, I was okay with that. Next time I'm in Frankfurt, I'll definitely be back at "the noodlemaker."

Amazing restaurant with different noodle dishes. The noodles are hand pulled and you can choose the shape of it. They have vegan options too and some side dishes. Very authentic and packed with people, even though you don’t have to wait long.

Really tasty! We got the original & it was some of the best we've had. Very generous serving. Broth was rich & full of flavour & the chilli oil was delish. Sad we're only staying a short time, otherwise we'd be here every day!

Our food arrived right after I ordered, which surprised me a bit—I'm not sure if it was freshly made or pre-prepared. Unfortunately, my noodles were rather mediocre and nothing special. Whether I'll go back is questionable.

If you like Nuddles, this could be your go-to spot in the area. Fast, helpful, and artisanal. In fact, they make them in an open kitchen right in front of your eyes. Recommended, even for those who like a spicy, non-invasive touch.

Incredibly delicious! Was there for the second time today. The first time I had the supper, which was quite tasty, but today I had dry noodles number 5 and they were incredibly good. You can always choose the type of pasta individually. Simply perfect handpulled noodles 🥹😍

Everything is extremely delectable. The personal is friendly and understanding. I can’t even talk about waiting time because there was none. In two minutes everything was ready as for takeout and eat in. As for eating alone everything was also wonderful. Nothing bad to say 5/5 for sure

A true pasta paradise in the heart of the European Quarter! My visit to The Noodlemaker was an overall positive experience. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, you immediately feel welcome. The absolute highlight is of course the hand-pulled noodles! You can watch the chefs prepare the fresh pasta with impressive speed and precision - a little spectacle in itself. And the taste absolutely delivers what the preparation promises: the noodles have a perfect texture, are pleasantly al dente and absorb the delicious sauces wonderfully. The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is really great. The selection of side dishes and drinks is also good. The restaurant is modern and tastefully decorated and it is pleasant to sit there and enjoy the food. In summary, I can highly recommend The Noodlemaker in the Europaviertel. If you want to enjoy authentic and delicious hand-pulled noodles in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

My husband and I went to eat two portions of vegetarian fried noodles at noon on Wednesday the 16th. The noodles were very hard and all were broken. Not a single noodle was intact. After eating, I had a stomachache for two days when I got home. I reported the situation to my boss at that time, and he said it was not a matter of force! So speechless! Will never go there again! I really don’t recommend it! ! !

Food was super tasty. Homemade ice tea was also delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and it's fun to watch the noodle maker. Would eat there again.

Unfortunately very poor selection + quality for vegetarians. Tasteless and unfortunately the service wasn't good either.

The location is a bit out of the way, but the restaurant itself is quite spacious with both dining tables and counter seats. Since I came alone, I was seated at the counter directly facing the noodle chef, which felt a bit awkward. I ordered the Zhajiang noodles. Unfortunately, the meat sauce had a strong, unpleasant smell — it wasn’t handled well at all. The dish was overly salty, very oily, but lacked any real flavor. The odd taste of the meat sauce really put me off. I also tried the “mouthwatering chicken” (Kou Shui Ji), but it was disappointing as well. The chicken was too dry and made entirely of breast meat. The sauce was overly salty and didn’t balance the dish. Overall, I wasn’t satisfied with the experience and won’t be coming back.

The food tastes really good and the portions are very large, I think the price is great for a Frankfurt restaurant. Only the “homemade” tea I would say was really not homemade 🌝😅. Otherwise highly recommended!

Meat eaters or leftover meat in a vegetarian dish

We dropped by spontaneously without a reservation and got a seat straight away. The drinks and food came super quickly and were large portions. Nice service.

The shop is tastefully decorated. We got a spot quickly just before closing time that week. The waitress came quickly to take the order. The food came quickly. Everything tasted good. For me personally, it wasn't enough to make me come back again. I expected more from the pictures of the food. There are very few parking spaces.

I was a little disappointed with the food and expected much more. I had Bolognese and the pasta and sauce were too tasteless for me. The service was very hectic and somewhat unfriendly.

Handmade noodles that simply taste great. If I would mention one area of improvement, it would be to increase the variety of dishes with different flavour profiles, and what vegetables are used (it feels like most dishes use the same few vegetables).

Quite crowded, most of the tables are bar counters with bar stools. We ordered the soup that is first on the menu. We didn't really like it. The noodles seemed dense and as if undercooked. The broth was more or less, remotely similar to Pho Bo. Moderately spicy. We wouldn't go again.

Unfortunately, I have to report on an extremely disappointing and discriminatory visit to the Nudelmaker in Frankfurt. Not only were my expectations of fresh, handmade pasta disappointed, but I witnessed unacceptable behavior from the staff. The noodles were either overcooked or had an unpleasant, doughy consistency. The sauces tasted bland and lacked seasoning. In addition, some ingredients that were promised on the menu were not included in my dish. The service was not only poor, but openly racist. We were incorrectly told that there were no free seats outside, while other guests, who obviously didn't have the same skin color as us, were allowed to sit outside without any problem. Instead we were assigned a place in the cold indoor area and our child had to sit on a high, uncomfortable chair. Additionally, we were incorrectly charged for four pasta dishes even though we only ordered three. When we brought this up, we were met with a lie. The atmosphere in the restaurant was loud and uncomfortable. The tables were too close together so there was little privacy. The cleanliness also left something to be desired, as there was leftover food on the floor and the tables were not thoroughly cleaned. The price-performance ratio is in no way correct. The prices were clearly too high for the quality offered and the unacceptable service. I cannot recommend the Nudelmaker in Frankfurt due to the discriminatory treatment and the poor quality of the food and service.

In China 🇨🇳 Lumian eateries are inexpensive and unassuming. People come in to have a quick noodle soup or noodles with meat and vegetables and are usually out of the restaurant 15 to at most 20 minutes after entering. In Germany 🇩🇪 many locals (especially people in their twenties and thirties) use restaurants, all restaurants, any restaurants as hubs to socialise with friends and colleagues or simply to timepass as the vast majority of them do not have children or any chores to attend to. I walked past the restaurant a quarter of an hour before entering and I saw three locals (a male and two females) in their twenties sitting by the window. When I was seated near them and for another half an hour they were chatting as if they were in their own living room. They had a grand total of one glass of wine 🍷, one small edamame plate, one cucumber salad plate and one 750 ml. glass of water in front of them and they probably stayed there for another hour after I had left without ordering anything else. In China the chef would unceremoniously throw them out but in Germany restaurant owners have no choice but to put up with such people. Keeping what I wrote above in mind I award the noodlemaker three stars because I genuinely sympathize with them. However, if you want to have good quality meaty dishes in restaurants these days you must opt for one of a half dozen very expensive restaurants that also specialise in meat of which I suppose one or two are a Korean and a Chinese restaurant of the haute cuisine category in Frankfurt. Everywhere else (the noodlemaker included) you will get pieces of meat that are not particularly tasty and small quantities as it is impossible to raise prices without getting priced out of a very competitive and oversaturated market for "Asian cuisine". The lamb in my noodle soup was flattened pieces of lamb that was impossible to trace to any part of the animal and that to me is not reassuring.

The best Chinese noodles in Frankfurt. The noodles are freshly pulled and the restaurant is extremely well organized.

Great portion size and flavours are lovely. We had 2 mains, a side and 2 drinks and our total came out to £35. We arrived at 17:30 for the restaurant opening and there was multiple groups of people waiting and loads of takeaway orders being prepared. It’s cool to watch the noodle being made fresh.

Delicious food but unfriendly staff

You can't get fresher pasta! Very good noodles with perfect cooking point. The variety of sauces for people who eat meat is quite large, unfortunately there are fewer alternatives for vegetarians/vegans and unfortunately no vegetarian soup at all!
